Disclaimer: I do not own Marvel Cinematic Universe, Buffyverse or anything else you may recognize

So I got this idea a while ago and I'd like to thank Brainstorm Sorcerer, Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter for some help with it.

Now look, I love Buffy a lot, but she has flaws too, and this one-shot is going to call out the most glaring one.

Hope all enjoy.

Sunnydale

Frank Castle made his way to his destination. He knew of the supernatural very well, during his time fighting crime in New York and other places, it hadn't been difficult to miss.

And then he'd gotten information about some magic drug dealer called Rack who resided in this town, the strangest of them all.

The guy used girls who came to him and made them even worse with his powers. Frank had tried to find him but had no luck, and so he'd beaten up some Demons for any leads, and had been told the guy cloaked his hideout with dark magic, and the Demons weren't willing to help him find it, so he'd just shot them dead.

Now he was on his way to the house of the Slayer, yes, he knew about Slayers too now due to talk in the supernatural community. She had been chosen to stand against Vampires, Demons and other forces of darkness.

She'd help him in taking down this scumbag.

As he reached her home, he saw a man in dark striding inside and he watched from the side as the man snarled crazily to the Slayer, who was a blonde petite young woman, and a young man. "You think you can just do that to me? You think I'd let you get away with that?"

Frank quickly brandished his gun as the man laughed crazily. "Think again."

As the crazy guy raised his gun, Frank raised his own and fired, making the man scream in pain as his arm was hit, and his gun dropped as Frank rushed the man and tackled him away with a roar.

The Slayer and the man were too shocked to respond as the crazy gunman snarled at Frank. "Who the hell do you think you're shooting at? I-"

Frank unbuttoned his jacket, revealing the skull symbol as the gunman's eyes now widened in horror, while the Slayer and the guy looked shocked too.

"Holy shit! The Punisher!" The man said as the gunman now tried to make a run for it but Frank rammed into him hard with a mighty roar of rage, staggering him back, then grabbing him by the throat, hit his face with the gun, forming a cut as he threw the gunman down.

The door of the house opened as a red-haired woman in a white blouse and a brown-haired one in a blue shirt ran out due to having heard the gunshot and during that time, Frank kneeled over the downed gunman.

"You think you're a big deal? You're just another pathetic shit", Frank snarled as the gunman looked frightened.

Frank then raised his gun and with a roar of rage, clobbered the gunman's face multiple times, as the other four watched, shocked by his brutality which froze them for the moment.

Frank continued battering the gunman's face, and by the end, he was bleeding all over and crying. Frank got up as he cried and begged. "Please I'm-"

Frank pointed the gun to his throat as Buffy now came to her senses and rushed to him.

BANG!

Buffy pushed Frank off by a few feet but the gunman had already been shot in the throat by then and painfully choked to death.

"You-you killed him!" Buffy said in horror.

"He'd have killed you otherwise", Frank snarled as he picked himself up.

"You had no right!" Buffy snapped.

"And he had the right to shoot you? Your logic is blowing my mind", Frank said in dark humor.

"Why the hell are you even in my town?" Buffy asked.

"Some warlock called Rack, I have to take him down", Frank said as Willow and Tara exchanged a look.

"I-I know him", Willow said, Frank catching the shame in her voice as Tara stroked her back gently, and Frank realized she was one of the women that bastard had used. "We-we can help you find him."

She turned to Tara. "We can, right?"

"Yes, we can", Tara assured with a nod.

"No way in hell are we helping you", Buffy snarled at Frank.

"Buff, calm down, Warren had a gun, he was gonna shoot us, the Punisher saved our life", Xander said to her.

"He could have just knocked him out", Buffy said as Frank rolled his eyes.

"So the Slayer is naïve, that's a disappointment", Frank quipped as she glared at him.

"Look, you know the Magic Box?" Willow asked and Frank nodded. "Meet us there later, all right?"

"Sure", Frank said as he walked off.

Buffy turned to Willow. "Why should we meet-"

"Rack has to be taken down", Tara said firmly in a voice that left no room for argument.

Later, Magic Box

Frank walked in to see Buffy, Willow, Tara, Xander, Anya and Dawn there as Anya said. "Oh, now that's a real gruff man."

Xander groaned as Frank looked at the stuff there. "People actually buy this shit?"

"You had no right to kill Warren", Buffy said again as Frank sighed. "He would have gone to prison for what he did, and paid there."

"How come you've survived this long with a bullshit mentality like that?" Frank asked her.

"I believe in the system, it's not bullshit!" Buffy snapped at him.

"Believing in the system is bullshit", Frank told her.

"They are humans, we cannot pass judgment on them like we're better than them, the supernatural is more my place", Buffy said.

"Ah, so let's say if a Demon happens to be a petty thief, and a human happens to be a rapist, you'll kill the Demon and put the human in court?" Frank snarled as Buffy backed off, never having been questioned on her views like this. "Yeah, what do you do? What do you do? You act like it's a playground. You beat up the human bullies with your fists. You throw 'em in jail, everybody calls you a hero, right? And then a month, a week, a day later, they're back on the streets doing the same goddamn thing!"

"Yeah, so you just put 'em in the morgue." Buffy sneered.

"You're goddamn right, I do."

"You ever doubt yourself, Frank?"

"Not even for a second."

"Really? Really? You never think for one second, "Oh no, I just killed a human being"."

"That's being pretty generous."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night", Buffy scoffed.

"You know what I think of you, Slayer? I think you're a half-measure. I think you're someone who can't finish the job. I think that you're a coward."

"I think it's you", Buffy shot back.

"You hit 'em and they get back up, I hit 'em and they stay down!" Frank snapped at her. "What I do is out of necessity."

"Or maybe you just like it", Buffy said.

"Okay, he killed Warren, why are you so mad about it?" Willow now asked as Buffy turned to her.

"How can you say that?" Buffy asked.

"You were perfectly willing to kill Faith when she hurt Angel", Dawn reminded with folded arms as Buffy paled at the reminder. "Now someone else kills a horrible human being and you get mad? Really?"

Frank smiled proudly at Dawn, she reminded him of Amy Bendix.

"You saw his look, Buff? He looked crazy. He'd have shot us both, maybe fired around randomly too, and a shot could have entered the house by breaking a window, and maybe killed Tara or Willow", Xander said to her. "The guy was beyond help or justice, he deserved to be a dead man!"

"If you don't want to kill human beings, it is perfectly understandable, but being a hypocrite about it is wrong, Buffy", Tara told her calmly, shaking her head in disappointment, though not judgmentally.

"And you also killed those Byzantine Knights when they came after us", Willow reminded as Buffy looked between them all and realized she wasn't going to win this argument at all, and now couldn't say a word in her defence.

Frank realized this is as far as it would go and got to business. "So, about this scumbag Rack-"

Finally done, hope you all enjoyed.

I saw someone arguing on YouTube a while back that Buffy isn't a hypocrite but that her thinking has evolved from when she tried to kill Faith, but I call bullshit because she killed those Byzantine Knights who were also human.

Buffy only kills humans as long as her loved ones are in danger.

Plus, Warren deserved to die. Whether by Willow's hand or not is a different story but he did. It says something when he got tortured by a bullet and skinned alive, and I still wanted to see the bastard suffer even worse.

At least Frank gave him what he deserved.

Now Gunn's argument to Fred to stop her in 4x5 of Angel was a good one, if Buffy had used that on Willow, I'd actually buy it over the bullshit 'we don't kill humans and they deserve human justice'.

Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with some other update. Stay safe from the coronavirus ya all!
