While all this is happening, Selina is entering one the underworld bars the Sirens go to and sees Harley chatting up with Ivy in one of the booths excitedly, like she hadn't been torturingher sona child for over a fucking year. They notice entering the Bar and she is not in her usual play full mood, she is pissed. Scratch that, she is livid.1
"Hey kitty Cat, been a while. You holding up okay? " Harley asks in her usual cheery and excited voice, like she hadn't been torturingher sonunder their fucking noses in Arkham Asylum, which makes her anger increase tenfold. Ivy notices it but doesn't comment on it.
"Selina, you alright?" Ivy asks, concern layered in voice that she rarely shows.
She ignores their greetings and grabs Harley by her collar and pulls hers until she's mere inches away from her face. Harley gulps in fear. She has rarely seen her this angry and only once was it at her, when she still hadn't left Joker, even after he pushed him out of a fucking window and into an alley where she bled and almost died after she had captured and nearly killed Batman. She said it was and accident and that he sent her flowers when she has in the Asylum recovering but Bruce confirmed that he was pissed at her and did it on purpose. He even went as far to say Joker didn't even Bat on eye at what he did, just continued on like it was another day work (which for the Clown, it is).2
Selina grabs Harley by her throat and brings her claws towards Harley's neck. Ivy wants to intervene but a look from Selina says to stay out of it, which she reluctantly does.
"I'm only going to says this once and you are going to listen very carefully. Robin has been found." Harley and Ivy's eyes widen in shock though the former is filled with dread and worry, probably for The Joker's life. "You and you're sick of fuck of a boyfriend are going to stay away from him otherwise I will gut you both and anyone who gets in my way, Harley. Do you understand?" Harley nods in fear. Selina lets her go and she drops on the floor, punches her in the face.
She looks at Ivy, knowing she has always had a soft spot for women and kids in trouble despite her commitment to her plants. She nods and gets Harley to leave the Bar to one of her hide outs. Selina leaves the bar shortly after and heads back to the cave though she stops a few muggings and even a rape attempt on a minor, leaving the poor bastard to eat through a straw for a few weeks.
She makes her way back to the Cave in time see Clark flying through, most likely to patrol for Bruce and the others. She sees Bruce, Oliver, Sara and Dick with a drink in their hands, probably something strong. Tim was leaning on the wall next to the Cave's changing stalls while Roy, Alfred and Diana are probably upstairs. She walks over to Bruce and snatches his drink and before he protests, she drinks it in one sip. She shoots Bruce a look that says 'Try me bitch' and he reluctantly concedes.
"That bad?" Dick turns to her with a 'No shit, Sherlock' look.
"I really think you should watch it. It i'll probably give you nightmares and want to make you kill the sick fuck in ways that would be consider Inhumane but you need to understand." Oliver says to her, his voice has this numb feeling that she doesn't like. Her and Oliver never really got along due to them not being well acquainted (he and Bruce beat the hell out of each other when their arguments got really bad which was half the time) but looking at him and everyone else so broken makes her want slaughter the clown, dam the fucking consequences.
Selina makes her way to the computer and brings the video files. She watches the videos and every second makes her want to rip Joker limb to limb and feed him to Harley's hyenas (though Harley might fight her on that one). It also made her want to go to Jason's room and hold him, never letting him go. Unfortunately, Bruce also watches the videos again along with Oliver, Dick, Sara, and Tim. It reinforces their desire to kill Joker and keep Jason safe at all costs. "Bruce?" Selina asks. Instead of answering, Bruce gets up from the chair and goes upstairs to Jason's room. He practically barges in and simply puts a chair next to his son's bedside and sits down. He holds his son's hands and wishes Joker is in immeasurable pain. 'I'm going to fucking kill him if he goes anywhere near my son again, screw the dam consequences).3
Well, that was rough. Here are my Notes:
1. Incase you are wondering, The Asylum was badly damage during the game, thus giving Ivy and Harley the opportunity to escape due to the massive damage done throughout the entire island. Ivy recovered enough strength to escape with Harley despite the increase in Guards. However, most of the Guards were for Joker, the architect of all the destruction.
2. This is my head canon but I've always like the idea of Selina being a motherly figure towards Bruce's kids (which in a way, makes them hers as well). Someone who can offer comfort where Bruce can't. Plus despite what some people think (let's call them idiots), Selina does have a heart, she just keeps it locked deep with in her but Bruce is one of the few people who can slip through the cracks and vice versa.
3. Now I know there is going to be some Batman puritans coming after me for this but let me remind you that during Death in The Family, Bruce gave Joker a beating so hard while the latter had diplomatic immunity (don't ask, that was kind of dumb) and it was Superman who had to pull him off from killing Joker. In Return of The Joker, Bruce threw a knife to Joker's head and that was before he showed the film of what he did to Tim. I firmly believe he would have killed him if not for Joker stabbing him in the leg and Tim killing Joker with the prop gun. In Hush (the comic, the film was shit) after Bruce thought he killed his childhood friend Thomas Elliot (who was actually Hush), Bruce was planning in his head how to kill him and one the people on his mind during that scene was Jason and his death along with Barbara's crippling. Gordon stopped him but like in Return of the Joker, I firmly he would gone through with it.
