This one was suggested by a Guest long ago but now with the Boys crossover here, this one is fitting.
And this one takes place right after 'A Game of Doom'.
Chapter 11- Where are you?
Earth-167, Justice League Tower
Kal, Lois, Ollie, Chloe, Bart, Tess and Emil were hanging out together in the Justice League Tower, with Kal telling the rest about one of his training sessions with Steve. "And then I blocked his punch and gave him one back, he was really impressed."
"So I guess you're learning after all, huh Smallville?" Lois asked, tapping his shoulder.
"Looks like it", Kal said with a shrug. "So now if someone takes away my superpowers, I won't be helpless and on the ground at least."
"Yup, we won't want that now, would we?" Chloe asked with a chuckle.
"So, should I learn too in that case, amigo?" Bart then said out loud.
"Oh yeah, you need it desperately", Ollie said as they all turned to him. "Clark could do the basic stuff even without training at least, and he has a tough build, real tall guy too, which helps in a fight. You, on the other hand, can't say being built like that would help in a fight if you have lost your powers."
"Hey!" Bart said as all of them laughed at him and he groaned.
"He does have a point", Emil said with a chuckle of his own.
"Yeah, try to build it up", Tess added, and Bart groaned louder as the rest of them all laughed at the poor guy.
"Well, some rules, first of all, no going to an island and being stranded for two years", Bart said, the laughter now increasing.
"Nope, no need for two years", Ollie agreed, then added. "You should be stranded on one for five years like my doppelganger from Earth-1."
Now all of them laughed even harder as Bart blushed in embarrassment at how he was being roasted today by the rest of them.
"This just isn't your day, fast guy", Lois quipped.
"Ironic, you run fast but you cannot save yourself from being roasted fast", Chloe added.
"I hate you all", Bart said, making a pouty face at this point.
"Feeling's mutual", Tess shrugged and some more laughter went around with all of them at that point.
"Well, Bart's body building aside, at least I am a good hand to hand combatant now", Kal finally said, finishing the jokes on Bart for now. "So it's all good really."
But then he looked at the TV in the background and his eyes narrowed. "Or not."
They turned around and the news was- "Lex Luthor Missing! Disappeared from prison!"
"The hell?" Ollie said out loud, now all of them sharing looks of horror. "Oh boy! He is out now! This sucks, very, very much!"
"Couldn't even give us a week's peace before getting out again", Kal said with a groan. "Now I'm wondering if our little talk a little while before inspired him to break out of prison or something."
"No, this is not your fault", Lois assured Kal.
"A guy like him, would have a plan in mind to break out anytime", Chloe pointed out, adding to what Lois was saying. "Guess this time it was a lot sooner than we anticipated."
"So, what do you think he will do this time?" Tess asked the rest. "Last time he sent the Batman Who Laughs after us, he took us out, then Lex swooped in and pretended to be the hero by saving us."
"Well, that was when he could afford to fool the public over who he was, this time, everyone knows he is not a good guy, so it would be harder, much harder", Emil told her.
"Think he just wants revenge", Bart shrugged.
"Well, better be careful then", Kal told the rest of them. "Now that he only wants revenge, and not to be seen as a hero, he just got much more dangerous than he was ever before."
"So, no more playing good guy now, just pure bad guy stuff, yeah, that's gonna be really scary", Chloe nodded with a grim sigh. "Can we stick him in J'onn's Mars prison? I mean, its not killing really."
Before anyone could respond, Kal got a call and looked at his phone. "It's Bruce."
He picked it up and said. "Yeah Bruce, okay. Right, I'm coming."
Kal put the phone down and said. "Bruce is there at the prison already."
"I expected no less from that guy", Ollie smirked and shook his head. "Guy is always first everywhere."
"You sure he doesn't have super speed?" Bart asked.
"Nope, probably teleportation", Tess told them.
"Or just unexplained weird powers", Lois added.
"Perhaps some interdimensional imp is a huge fan of him and helps him do stuff", Emil suggested jokingly, and all shared weird looks before bursting into laughter.
"That's the most out there joke I've ever heard, nice one man", Ollie tapped Emil's shoulder over that.
For a few moments, the tense atmosphere that Lex's escape from prison had brought over all of them had subsided, just for a few moments though.
Kal then got up and walked to the window. "Gonna go talk to Bruce."
He then flew off.
Kal landed near the prison where Knight was already out, having finished his investigation, and walked to Kal, looking grim himself.
"What happened?" Kal asked.
"Well, I checked, there is no weak point in the prison, he doesn't show up on cameras either, its like he just disappeared into thin air", Knight told Kal, a little confused. "So that can only mean that-"
"He escaped to another Earth", Kal realized. "But how? Did he have any interdimensional extrapolators on him or anything like that?"
"Doubt it, the prison guards would check for anything strange on the prisoners, especially one like Lex", Knight pointed out as Kal flew into Lex's prison cell, then used his X-Ray vision to look around, trying to find any weak point in the prison, but there was none at all.
He sighed and flew back out to Knight. "Well, couldn't find anything."
"Maybe someone with teleportation powers or any Earth-jumping powers helped him escape", Knight suggested.
"Yeah, but who? And why?" Kal wondered out loud. "And now Lex will come after us for sure."
Thinking about Lex's motivations, Kal sighed.
"Where are you?"
Well, obviously Lex's motivations are different from what the characters think but can't blame them.
