Here goes one more, this one is after 'Heroes, Vampires and Slayers' again.

Chapter 12- The Bet

Earth-92

Blade walked out into the cemetery with Buffy, Faith and Spike, looking emotionless and neutral like always, but feeling amused inside. Oh Buffy was so gonna regret making this bet with him, he was sure of that much easily.

Really, after seeing him in action she thought he couldn't do this? He would give her a nice smirk when she paid him up for winning the bet.

"So, here we are in a cemetery in Cleveland, and we made a bet", Buffy finally spoke up.

"I know", Blade said with a simple shrug.

"Kill all Vampires that attack you, without using any wood", Buffy told Blade the terms. "If you're unable to do it, you pay up."

"Eh, not a hassle, I can do it", Blade said with a shrug.

"You've fought Vampires that were vulnerable to any pointy thing, not just wood, these Vampires are only vulnerable to wood, holy water and garlic too, but none of that's allowed, use your usual arsenal and pull a win", Buffy challenged him with a smirk, arms folded.

"Remember, she is the one who made the bet, not me", Faith added with a snicker as Buffy shot her a look.

"So, you're not on my side?" Buffy asked incredulously.

"I'm on no one's side, B, I'm just enjoying the action here", Faith shrugged. "Nothing personal, don't take it that way."

"And you, Spike?" Buffy asked with a look which said 'no sex for 2 weeks if you don't take my side'.

"Sure, I'm on your side, Buffy, always", Spike assured her with raised hands.

"Which means you must pay up too", Faith reminded Spike who groaned.

"Let's begin", Blade said as they saw some Vampires coming at last, growling at the whole group. "All of you stay back, this is something only I have to do, as it's a challenge."

"Right", Faith groaned. "Well, I wanted to get in on the action, I hate you B."

"You said it was nothing personal!" Buffy reminded incredulously.

"Regarding the bet, not the action stuff, B", Faith pointed out. "Now I have to stay out of the action. Eh, whatever, I'll stay out double time tomorrow night then."

"Sounds good", Spike shrugged as Blade walked forwards, unsheathing his sword and twirling it, ready for some action.

"Come on motherfuckers", Blade snarled as one Vampire charged him but he decapitated it in a spin motion effortlessly, dusting that one, then side-stepped to avoid the next one's blow and chopped off that one's hand before decapitating him as well easily.

Two tried to punch him from both sides but he ducked to avoid as they punched each other, and he managed to cut off the head of one of them while kicking the other away for now.

As the next tried to spin kick, Blade blocked with his elbow before spin kicking that one back, and brought his sword down upon it, decapitating that one as well.

Then the one from before tried to attack him from behind but Blade spun his sword around and stabbed that one through the chest without even turning around, managing to stop that one in his tracks.

Then he turned and pulling out his sword, decapitated that one too, dusting him.

Three now came out with swords as Blade smirked and cracked his neck. "I promise you won't see the dawn."

They charged with swords as Blade blocked all their strikes and kicked one away while backhanding another, and blocked the third's strike before elbowing him in a spin motion, before cutting off another's hand as he attacked, and then chopped off his head as well.

The other two charged as Blade leapt high and kicked the back of their heads while getting on their other side, and then he turned to face them before doing a spin motion while swinging his sword, decapitating both of them effortlessly, and they dusted as well as Blade stood there, ready to face any more that came at them.

He saw two more trying to attack and backed to avoid their blows before decapitating one and kicking the other back with a leap, and before he could recover, Blade decapitated him as well.

There was just one left now and getting scared, he started running off as Blade shrugged, looking like he was going to let that one go.

Only, he threw his sword so hard it managed to separate the Vampire's head from his body and then got stuck on the tree, with that Vampire dusted as well now.

Blade cracked his neck and shrugged his shoulders, walking to where the sword was stuck, and one more Vampire came but he ripped out that one's throat before throwing it at the face of the next one hard, staggering him back.

"Blimey, now that's hardcore", Spike said, awed, like Buffy and Faith.

"I'm gonna do that now", Faith said.

"Huh?" Buffy was surprised herself.

Blade then ripped his sword out and decapitated both of them in swift succession, now finally having taken down all of the Vampires at last, and twirling his sword, he quickly sheathed it back, looking every bit the badass that he was.

"So?" Blade asked Buffy and Spike exchanged a look, while Faith chuckled.

Later, base

Willow, Tara, Dawn and Whistler were waiting for them as they returned, and Dawn asked excitedly. "So, who won?"

"Guess pipsqueak", Faith urged.

"I know it was the kid", Whistler smirked as both Buffy and Spike groaned.

"Oh I knew he'd win", Willow cheered.

"You're not my friend now", Buffy sighed jokingly.

"Well, I think you underestimated Blade and overestimated the Vampires", Tara told Buffy.

"And underestimating the kid is a big mistake", Whistler added as all shared snickers while Buffy and Spike sighed.

"Here, I'm paying up", Spike said, paying up to both Blade and Whistler.

"Yup, I did make the bet", Buffy added, paying the two herself. "There you go."

"Good job", Whistler said with a smirk.

"Oh hell yeah", Blade cracked his neck when Andrew walked out excitedly.

"Oh my God! You did it! I knew you'd win, I was betting for you too, come on, I should be paid up as well", Andrew said, walking to Blade and patting his shoulder as Blade exchanged annoyed looks with the rest of them, which Andrew was oblivious too.

They had reluctantly decided to bring Andrew here to keep an eye on him, as none of the people present here trusted him one bit, so they could keep him in line.

"Come on, pay up! I'll be your biggest fanboy from now on, your aide actually, take me to your world, please!" Andrew begged Blade. "See, I know a lot of stuff, you can use a guy like me-"

Blade looked at Whistler, then the rest, who all gave him nods of approval, even Tara.

WHACK!

"AAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHH!" Andrew screamed in pain, his nose broken as he fell down in tears, the rest all laughing at him as Blade actually cleaned his fist due to having touched Andrew.

"And that's where you belong, Bastardrew", Blade told the moaning and crying Andrew.

Whistler then kicked him, making him scream again as he said. "Added bonus, dipshit."

The rest snickered as Dawn asked. "You do realize you shouldn't poke lions, right?"

"Thanks", Blade thanked Dawn for the lion comparison, as that was a compliment.

"We'll be off now", Whistler waved as Blade used the reality breacher to open a portal and both of them departed, having won the bet and taught Andrew a lesson.

"Bastardrew, I'm using that from now on", Faith said as she, Willow, Tara, Spike, Dawn and Buffy snickered at Andrew's state again.

So, moral of the story is never bet against Blade, and now he and Whistler gave Bastardrew what he deserved too.
