Ahoy there everyone, 'ope that there ye be ok, what be promised be dept, so now we 'ave a backstory chapter fer the new member 'o the crew, I 'ope ye enjoy it.
Viridian Forest is a beautiful and calm place, if you don't mind the bugs one can live without any issue, that's why me and the rest of my Pikachu brothers live in peace, why I am a Raichu you may be wondering, I am still a wild Pokémon, just that one day I found a yellow rock on a trainer backpack and you can imagine what happened next, but I didn't become like most of Raichu that for some reason began acting like cretins, on the contrary, I used my new abilities to help my brothers and sisters, and for a long time that was all what I did for a long time, taking care of them wasn't the most exiting thing on the world, but I felt happy that I was able to do something that helped everyone.
We used to be closed with each other, but now with the new pacific environment our real personalities came to light, we began playing like we used to do as a Pichu and thanks to that we began getting stronger, at the point that some of them did not need me to protect them anymore, and even helped me protect the rest of the group, the life continued like that for a long time, until one day… "I don't know mom, if I am not here who would protect the family?" I said to my mother, she was a Pikachu like everyone else, but she was older than the rest, and I obviously "You have done a good job dear, but you always wanted to see the world, and there is not much you can do in this small forest" she said "That's true mom but… I cannot leave everyone else unprotected" I answered "That is not true dear, thanks to you we are stronger! Enough to protect we and the rest, so go and see the world like you always wanted" she said, "I can't win an argument against you, can't I?" that night we all meet as a farewell party, and the morning of the next day I leaved Viridian Forest.
I traveled all around Kanto, avoiding getting catch, meeting different species of Pokémon and finding places I could never thing about, I even met another Raichu in Saffron city, he only talked about a war but it seemed like a good guy, I even went to the other part, If I am not wrong humans call it Johto, but after exploring both zones, I heard from a water type Pokémon that there is even more places, and I wanted to explore those to, so I managed to get into a boat and then I got to a place called Unova, there a somehow living thrash bag told me somethings of the place, like that other regions wild Pokémon were rare, so I would be the first Raichu that a lot of Pokémon and humans have ever seen so I expected that they would try to capture me, to what I say, you can't throw a poke ball if you can't even move, if a human gave me problems I just had to paralyze them with Thunderwave and then run away, that way I avoided a lot of conflicts, but if they persisted I just used Iron Tail to throw myself out of danger, and that how I avoided being capture, until I encountered some weird looking humans, they all looked the same, and they all tried to captured me, so I did my normal strategy, zap them into paralysis and run, but for some reason I decided to stop before escaping and turn around to make fun of them, but while I was doing that, one of them throwed a net to me, so I couldn't escape, then they put me in a cage, and they left me in a weird looking place… full of cages with other Pokémon inside, I have to admit it, I was scared, and even cried a few times, but is justified, I was Arceus knows how far from home, and I was locked up in a cage so small that I could barely move.
I don't know how much time did I spend there, but I had to be a lot, they rarely feed us and when they did, it was a really bad food, I am not an expert in berries, but I know enough to recognize a eatable one, and I can assure that those weren't eatable, but that isn't the bad part, just by saying that some of the other Pokémon trapped in cage, some of them were carried to other places, sometimes they came back, but… sometimes they didn't… although I was a rare Pokémon in Unova, the guy that looked like the one in charge wasn't interested on me, I was really lucky, but I didn't knew how much would my luck last…
Even more time passed, I began losing hope, but one day, or night, I heard explosions coming from outside, did not know what they were, but for the first time in a long time I felt hope. More explosions happened outside accompanied by human voices. The explosions began to stop and the human voices intensified and some of the Scientifics began to run around picking up things and destroying others, the guy in charge pointed us and some of the others came and tried to pick up the cages, but before they could do anything another voice made them stop from the entrance a bunch of weird looking men entered the laboratory and began to stop the Scientifics from doing whatever they were doing and then carrying them outside, I even saw the guy in charge being captured by those men, outside I found a place in ruins, it looked like we were held in some sort of underground lair, but there were big pieces of rock laying on the floor, I guess for that was the explosions, then after a few days outside they moved all of us into some sort of transportation device, we were still in the cages, but I wouldn't trust in us after what we lived, of what I heard and understanded they will freed us once they make sure that those Scientifics that worked for a group called Team Plasma, and that name sounded familiar to me, I met some Team Plasma's members when I arrived, but those were really nice with Pokémon, why were they doing this here, I just decided to stop thinking about that and concentrate on the present.
Guiding the vehicle was one of the men that saved us, he sometimes looked back and talked to us trying to make us feel safe, a few times he started singing, but after he finished the silence fills the atmosphere.
We continued like that for a while, until some of us detected movement in the bushes, the human noticed it and took his weapon, then he got out of the vehicle and began walking around, and suddenly some Team Plasma grunts appeared, the human stepped back and tried to aim one of the grunts, but then other one appeared from the side of the vehicle and grabbed his weapon, causing both to begin struggling, but the human managed to recover his weapon, but when he tried to use it, the weapon backfired and hit him making him fall to the ground, then the grunt began picking up the cages and move them back to the forest, I began to tremble of fear, I didn't want to go back to a place like where I was, so when one of the grunt picked up the cage where I was, without thinking it twice I destroyed the cage with Iron Tail, turning the cage into a bunch of pieces.
I jumped to the road to the side of the human while some sparks came out from my cheeks, the human got up and used his weapon as a staff, and then picked a knife from his pocket, but Team Plasma had what they wanted, so before we could do something they escaped with the other Pokémon.
Just after that the human fell to the ground while putting a hand on his wound, he stayed in the ground for a while, but then he began to crawl into the forest, I didn't know why, but I decided to helped him, after a while he got up and continued moving while saying something about some kind of information, I didn't understand much, but it sounded like something important, we continued like that until the human couldn't continue, and finally falling to the ground, he needed help, so I began running around the forest looking for someone that could help him, and then I finally found another human, one with red eyes and long socks.
