Hello again everyone, here is chapter 7, hope you enjoy it.
"This is my grandfather, this are my parents, and the young man there is my older brother" I said to the egg trying to somehow present my family to it, its hard considering that it may not hear a word of what I was saying, I was using a family photo I always carry with me, Zorua then took a look to the photo and pointed where I was on the photo with her paw and then looked at me "Zoru?" she asked "Yes, that there be me lass" I said, "Well, I think be a jolly time to eat" I said while putting the egg that was inside the incubator in a place where I could see it, then I got up and prepared a small campfire to cook something, I am not the best at cooking, but I am able to do a decent job, and that is all what I need, I took some ingredients and put them all in a container "What do ye want to eat, Berries or that thing?" I asked while looking at the Pokémon food, Raichu answered me by picking up one berry "Berries then" I said while picking some of them "I be glad ye prefer berries instead o' that there thing, Arceus know what it contains" I know that if it wasn't healthy, they wouldn't sell it, but one can never be sure, prevention is better than cure.
I prepared the food for me and my Pokémon and then sat down to eat it, but while we were doing that I heard a sound from the bushes, I didn't know what it was but without thinking I left the plate on the floor and ran to where I left the incubator to picked it up, I grabbed it and then looked into the bushes, Raichu noticed it and ran in front of me, "Whoever be there, show to the sky now!" I said "Wow, don't be alarmed little brother" I heard someone says from the bushes "Stephen?" I asked, "Who else do you think it could be?" I heard him say while getting out of the bushes, "Stephen, what be ye doin' 'ere?" I asked with a joyful tone, "I came to see you of course" he said, "I understand, but why 'ere, ye could 'ave waited fer me in Nacrene city?" I asked, "Because I was afraid that you wouldn't get there" he said "Ye know I be good with directions, right?" I said "I know, I came here for other reason" he said laughing a little at the end "But tell me, you somehow managed to defeat the Doc, I have to congratulate you for that, and because you caught a Raichu" he said "I beat the Gym leader, but this little scurvy rodent found me" I said while looking at Raichu "I see, and what about the other?" he said "What other?" I said a little confused "The one that you are holding" he said "Oh, this here little one right 'ere ye say?" he answered moving his head "The Gym leader told me it be from our grandfather" I said "May I see it" he said "I ain't sure if that be a good idea" I answered "Sailer, I am a doctor" was all of his answered "Be careful" I said while handing him the incubator "I can't tell you what is inside, even if I wanted, but something is sure, whatever is inside this egg, you'll have to take good care of it Sailer" he said "Ok but… what do you mean with even if you wanted?" I asked, "I promised our grandfather not to tell you a word about the egg, except it will hatch in a short time" he said, "I be sure that there ye aren't 'ere just to tell me that, don't you?" I said, to what he laughs a little "You know me to well brother" was his answer.
"I came here to prove your strength, dad didn't let me back then, but now… he isn't here" he said, "Be ye sure ye want to 'ave yer ass kicked already?" I said, "We will see that, prepare yourself" he said while carefully putting the incubator in the ground and then picking a poke ball from his pocket "What do ye say lass, ready for a battle?" I asked to Zorua, who answered me by running between me and Stephen, "Ok then, prepare to fight my Sandile" he said while calling the Pokémon out, and how he said, it was a Sandile, and the battle began!
"Sandile use Bite!" said Stephen, "Dodge it" I said, the sand crocodile jumped against Zorua, but she jumped back before Sandile could land his attack, "Ye'll 'ave to be a little faster than that!" I smile was draw in my face "Zorua, use Scratch lass!" I said, Zorua launched herself against Sandile, "Sandile, Mud-Slap!" the attack hit directly in to Zorua, making her fall to the ground, "That is all you got lad?" my brother said, "Stand to the sky Zorua!" when I said that Stephen took a serious look on his face "Don't ´pressure her, remember what the Gym leader told you, Pokémon are family" he was right, how did he knew that? I don't know.
While we were thinking Zorua managed to stand up, "Be ye alright lass?" she looked back at me with a confident look, "Zorua, use Thief!" I said "Thief?" Stephen said surprised, Zorua attacked Sandile and launched it back, but he was still standing, "I have to admit it, that took me by surprise, but let's see if you can manage this, Sandile use Assurance!" my brother said almost screaming, "Zorua dodge it!"" but it was to late, Sandile landed its attack, knocking Zorua out of combat, "You still have a lot to learn Sailer, what about we end this battle now?" he said, I was about to say something but he interrupted me, "Raichu is in disadvantage, and even if you managed to defeat Sandile, you wouldn't stand a chance against any other of my Pokémon, so this is for the best".
We waited there for a short time, he treated Zorua to made her feel better and then we picked everything up before began walking towards Nacrene city, I was carrying the incubator, "Don't feel bad for losing, you will beat me next time" he said "Yarr that fer sure, be just that, how do ye knew that about the Gym leader?" I asked, "The Doc was my teacher in the medicine school" my brother answered "If 'e be a real doctor, why does 'e dresses like that?" I asked, "For the same reason you keep using that ridiculous ponytail and those unnecessary long socks" he answered "So fer tradition?" I said "Exactly" was his answer.
We continued walking for a while, when Stephen suddenly stopped "You know what Sailer, I think I'll follow you on your journey, not directly of course, but I'll be nearby, just to make sure you don't get hurt… in excess" he said, "What do you mean with in excess?" I asked, but Stephen ignored me.
"Here we are, Nacrene city, well Sailer, its time to take different paths, at least for now" Stephen said "Yarr, I would like to rest me Pokémon before challengin' the gym" I said "That would be the best choice" he said, Stephen began to walk away but I interrupted him before he got to far "Hey brother, Next time I'll whip yer ass!" was said "What you say red eyes!" he said "We both have Red eyes ye know?" I said, "I am not saying it for that" was all of his answered before leaving, he has called me like that since one day I got conjunctivitis, and you imagine the rest "Ye be ne'er goin' to forget that don't ye?" I said to myself "Follow me ye two" I said to Zorua and Raichu while heading to the poke center.
