Hello again everyone, here we have chapter 17, so without further ado, let's get to the action.
"Are you sure you are ready?" Stephen asked me for like the tenth time, "I have already told ye I am" I answered him, "Sailer, I know that you are quite strong, but gym leaders are much stronger and…" he continued, so to make him stop I said, "Come on bro, I have already earned three badges, the only difference be that this time ye be trying to convince me to not do it" I didn't want to sound really confident because I know I could lose, and if I did my brother will throw it in my face for the rest of the year, "Fine, but if you lose I don't want you crying, deal?" he asked, "Aye" I decided to ignore the fact that he called me a weepy, just this time.
We continued through the road, and after a while we finally made it to Mistralton city, "I have to admit it, I am happy of finally being back to society" I heard Stephen said, and I agreed with him, nature was sure beautiful, but it was extremely dangerous out there, two time we had to fight against wild Pokémon because we had the luck of entering their territories, so seeing the lights of the streets and hearing the voice of complete strangers feel quite good. We continued walking until we arrived at the local Poke center, there I put my Pokémon to heal and rest, so they are at full energy for the gym battle, I stayed there waiting, but Stephen wanted to go out so he leaved me in the Poke center.

Everyone has secrets, and Sailer's brother isn't an exception, his were that he worked for one of the most, not to say the most powerful and influential man on the Unova region, and who was also his father, but he did it for a reason, the money was useful yes, that how he paid his studies at the university after all, but he had other reasons, some morally better than the others, but reasons after all. So while he made his way to the airport to give an old friend visit he keep remembering all of those reasons, and after a while he arrived to the place, he just showed the guards an entrance permission and they let him pass, inside Stephen walked towards one of the hangars, he knew that who he was looking for was there, when he was close enough noticed flashing lights coming out from the door and the windows. Without making much sound he entered the place. Inside he saw one person repairing a plane, an old man, Stephen then proceeded to call the old man attention by saying "I see the legend wants to fly again" The old man looked at him, knowing who he was, and fearing why he was there…

I waited in the Poke center for a long time, I even thought that it was going to take forever, but finally the nurse was done and handed me over my Pokémon and wished me good luck on my journey. I had nothing more to do there, and I couldn't see Stephen nearby, so to avoid losing time I headed to the gym and after walking for a short time I arrived at the airport, if I wasn't wrong the gym was inside the airport. I walked towards the guards to ask them to let me in, but before I could say a word one of theme spoke first, "We didn't expect any other of you" he said, "Any other of what?" I asked, then the other said, "Why are you here kid?" to what I responded, "I be here to challenge the gym" I said, "In that case use the other door and follow the path" he indicated me, so I did it. The second door didn't had guards, but it only leaded to the gym, and the rest of the place was fully guarded, so it wasn't necessary to guard that part.
I entered the place and followed the path, and to my surprise, standing just in front of the door was Stephen, "What be ye doing here?" I asked to him, "I am waiting for you" he said, "Ok… hey brother, do ye know what the guard meant when they said they weren't expecting any more of something?" I asked, he then took a moment to think, like if he knew the answer, but not how to tell it to me, "Probably… they confused you with someone else" he responded, "Aye, that probably is the reason" I said, "Well Sailer, what are we waiting for? Let's get to the action red-eyes" he said, and both proceed to enter the gym, the place was well decorated and transmitted the type specialty of the gym leader, but there was no one to be seen, "What now?" I asked to Stephen, "I guess we should wait now, so while we are at it which Pokémon do you plan to use, if I am not wrong 3 of 5 are weak to flying" he said, "Yes, but one is strong against flying" I responded, "Ok, I just hope you have a real strategy other than just attack and hope it doesn't miss.
After a few minutes of waiting someone appeared, a young girl with pink-red hair. Stephen gave me a light tap with the elbow while giving me a silly smile, "What do ye want now?" I asked whispering, he didn't answer, then the girl arrived and said, "Hello, sorry for the wait, I am Skyla, the granddaughter of Mistralton city gym leader" she said, I was about to answer, but Stephen went first, "My brother thinks you are attractive" he said in a calm tone like if it was an everyday think to say, I obviously blushed I don't know if she did because first thing I did was covering my face with my hands "Oh, I…" she said but I interrupted her before thinks could get any worse "Sorry excuse my brother he just wanted to mess with me I don't think that at all" I realized what I said when it was too late, "T… that is fine" she said, "Wait no I meant I think ye be attractive but not at that point it be just… God dammit Stephen!" I said desperately, "Well ma'am, we are here because my brother wants to challenge the gym, so if you could guide us to the battlefield?" Stephen said once he had enough fun, "Right this way" she said and began leading us to the battlefield, "So what do you think?" he asked whispering "Think of what?" I asked whispering to, he just looked at me with the same silly smile, "She is like 13 years old!" I answered still whispering, "You are not that old, and mom are dad have like 8 years of difference" he said, "Aye but they were grown adults" I said, he then laugh a little, "Not exactly" was his answer, I decided to not continue further.
We then finally arrived at the battlefield, where an old man wearing a pilot jacket was waiting, "You have a challenger" Skyla said to him, then the old man slowly turned around, "I've been waiting for you" he said, "Oh come one, does every gym leader communicates to the other every single trainer they fight or what?" I asked a little annoyed, "I was here before you red-eyes" Stephen said implying he was the one that warned the gym leader, "So what are we waiting for a kiss on the cheek?" the gym leader said, "No sir, let's begin with this".
And with this the chapter number 17 ends, the battle will be in the next one obviously, well, like always I hope you liked it.
