Hello again everyone, here we have chapter 20, enjoy.
The road to Icirrus city is peaceful, but I wish it wasn't, I was walking alone, Stephen hadn't return, but I couldn't stay in the airport any longer, not after what happened there, it sometimes felt like I could still hear the sound of the guns being fired, the roar of the cannons, and the scream of the men that fought for their lives, I spent a few hours inside that tower, and the only thing I could do was watch the horrors of the battle, and worder, what happened to all this people to end up doing all of that, later they told me that those men were insurgents, people that thought that our type of government wasn't the best and that we needed a change, I would have prefers them to be Team Plasma, but in another news it seems like we don't have to worry about them anymore, supposedly all the guys that the army was fighting weren't really Team Plasma, that they were trying to take over the government and used Team Plasma as a coverage, their leader was brought to the authorities by the real Team Plasma leader, a guy named Ghetsis and his son. The battle at the airport was against the remaining rebels, but luckily the army won, kind of, after all, a battle can't continue when all the enemy team is dead, but let's get that aside for now, and focus on me voyage.
I kept walking, but I got to a moment when I couldn't endure being alone anymore, so I called out everyone, once out Gible instantly jumped to my arms, "Hey there lassy" she began smiling, "Well everyone let's get moving" we walked for a while, but the silence started to annoy me, "Ye all did great on this battle" I said to break the silence, "It was me fault that ye lost Riachu, i was overconfident" I added "Rai" he answered, "Good" I said even though I didn't understood what he said, we continued walking, but even though I wasn't alone now I still didn't felt fine, "We should stop here fer a moment, we could use some rest" we stopped next to the road, I sat next to a tree to hide from the sun, I began feeling better, and I didn't realized when I began singing shanties, my grandfather used to sing a lot, most of the songs I know I learned them by only hearing him sing, he may be old but he has such a beautiful voice, but he rarely sings now, and that is because not long ago, a close friend of him passed away, he never talked about his personal life outside the ship, so there is not much I could say about it, I only know that they were old partners from my grandfather's young age, and from those years I only know that he gained a lot of respect from many people, and if I am not wrong, he met Mr. Miles during his golden years as a pilot, under what conditions I am not sure, anyways, I give a look to my Pokémon to see how they were doing, I was carrying Gible so I knew she was fine, Zoroark was sleeping, Lucario was meditating. Raichu and Servin were getting along, it surprised me that Servine wasn't tying to strangle him… again, they were for some reason sitting next to each other, well, I am just glad that I won't have to deal with them fighting at least in the recent future, everyone was fine, so I took a nap.
I got woke up by the sound of something moving in the bushes, I must have overslept because it was dark, I looked around and found everyone sleeping, except for Lucario who i couldn't find anywhere, I stood up and tried to see where he was, but it was too dark, I obviously was going to go out to find him, but I couldn't go alone, Gible was sleeping so I carefully put her between Raichu and Servine, that way she wouldn't feel alone, I then walked to where Zoroark was sleeping and move her a little to wake her up, she slowly opened her eyes, and after finding out who woke her up she gave an annoy glare, I would be annoy too if someone woke me up in the middle of the night, "Sorry fer waking you up lass but, I need yer help" I said whispering, she yawned and then got up, I explained her the situation and agreed to help me, "Now, we need to figure out where did he went" I looked around for any indication that he walked over there, but I couldn't see anything useful, but Zoroark did, she pointed to one spot in the bushes, and looking better at it I was able to distinguish that someone had gone over it recently, we just had to follow the trail.
The forest was suspiciously quiet, I began wondering if Lucario had something to do with it, Arceus forbid, if he causes trouble, then I will be in trouble. We continued walking, "Why would Lucario came this way?" I asked Zoroark knowing I wouldn't get an answer, "Maybe he sensed something with that aura thing he has" I said answering my own question, Zoroak seemed to agree. Suddenly Zoroark stopped short, "What happens lass?" it seemed that she could sense something, probably see it, after all her night vision is way better than mine, she began running, I didn't know why she did it, but I had to ran too if I didn't want to lost her from sight, I almost fell several times, but kept moving, Zoroark began to look smaller and smaller as she got further, she is really fast I have to say, we continued running until she suddenly stop, I almost fell doing the same, then I saw what made Zoroark react like that, a bright light was coming out from a clearing, I could hear voices which mean that there were people there, we carefully got closer using the bushes to avoid being seen, we got close enough to see what was going on, I saw 6 guys cheering at something, and then in the other side I saw Lucario's ears peeking out of the bushes, Zoroark and I carefully moved to where he was, still avoiding being seen, when we arrived to where Lucario was I saw why where the 6 guy cheering, in front of them were two Pokémon, a Mienshao and a Midnight form Lycanroc fighting, but it didn't seemed like a normal Pokémon battle, given that none of the guys were giving orders and for some reason neither Zoroark or Lucario seemed happy about what was going on, I could even hear Zoroark growling, I kept wondering what could be going on, but suddenly Lycanroc managed to knock down the Mienshao, and was about to finish it when someone entered the battlefield, I almost fainted when that happened, because the one interrupting the battle… was Gible.
The Lycanroc leaved the Mienshao on the floor and then began walking towards Gible, my heart rate went to the sky at that moment, I literally gave a crap about remaining hidden without thinking it twice I threw myself to where Gible was and pick her up before the Lycanroc could do anything to her, "Who the heck are you" one of the guys asked me, "Just someone that was passing by, I will leave now" I answered, "Yeah you better leave" other of the guys said, I was going to leave, but I noticed in how bad condition the Mienshao was, I tried to get close to it, but the Lycanroc began growling at me, "Whose be this Pokémon?" I asked, they all remained quiet, like figuring out what to say, "Is mine" the taller one said, "Well, ye better give it medical attention" I said, "That is not of your incumbency" whoever these guys are, I am sure none of the Pokémon here are truly theirs. One of them then literally dragged the Lycanroc to where they were, it tried to resist, so other kicked him, "You stupid Red-eyes!" I stopped, "How did ye called him?" I asked, "Do you want problems moron?" I began walking away, but just as them turned around a left Gible in the ground, called the guy that kicked the Lycanroc attention by touching him in the shoulder and then punched him right in the face as hard as I could, it even made him fall, the others turned around I immediately regretted my decision, one of them took me from the neck of the shirt, he was going to punch me but Gible jumped and bite him in the hand, he released me while screaming of pain, Gible released him too, then the guy freed the Lycanroc, it began running towards us, but before he could reach us Lucario came out from the bushes and grabbed Lycanroc from the back, "Mienshao, attack you useless idiot" the Mienshao woke up and tried to attack me, but Gible jumped from my hands and then for the first time used Take Down followed by a Dragon Rage, the Mienshao got launched against a tree, but this time instead of going back to the fight it began running back to the forest, "Retreat" one of the guys said and picked a poke ball from his pocket, but before he could do anything with it Zoroark took it from his hands, and they now even more scared than before began running away, leaving the Lycanroc behind, this distracted Lucario, so the rock type Pokémon took the opportunity and bite Lucario's arm, I tried to separate them, but the Lycanroc didn't want to release Lucario, "It seems that we be in a complicated situation"
