A untreatable illness spreads through Arendelle. Elsa falls ill and is isolated from the rest of the world, even her sister. During what the doctors believe to be the last few days of her life. Anna attempts to visit her older sister one last time.

To celebrate one month of being reunited with Anna, Elsa plans a special day for her sister. But one of her surprises goes horribly wrong killing her sister and leaving her all alone once again. Elsa is left by herself to deal with the grief of losing Anna, and the knowledge of knowing that if she were to have stayed away from Anna, her sister might still be alive.

During Elsa's coronation party she is poisoned by one of the guests. as Elsa continues to grow weaker, her sister faced with the reality that her sister is dying; In time Anna discovers the source of Elsa's deadly illness. But the Princess is almost too late to save her sister, and must learn to try and live without her.

Emma is the first to go missing, followed by Elsa. While Anna,Kristoff and Regina attempt to find out where the two have gone. Both Elsa and Emma are subject to the Secret Experiments of Dr.Ava Sorensen, the head of a research facility who conduct experiments on those with magical abilities.

Hans intended to use Elsa as a weapon, he threatens her sister and her title as Queen of Arendelle. She faces a hard choice between giving up her sister or becoming the monster everyone once feared she was.

Elsa is captured by Hans and taken into custody of the southern isles. He refuses to allow her to go back to her family, and Anna must try and decide what the best choice is for the Kingdom. Meanwhile Elsa endures torment from Hans, and Kristoff tries to solve a complicated problem.

Instead of being able to freeze the car Elsa is hit and soon is discovered by Ingrid who manipulates her after learning about her faded memories. Emma is determined to find out the truth about Anna while her powers grow and she is unknowingly being followed by a looming darkness.
