Well, I suppose I've got to write this at some point or another.
As some of you may know, I'm going to be participating in NaNoWriMo this year. In regards to this information, I hope all you lovely ladies and gentlemen understand that I won't be able to write Street Lights over the next 30 days.
I wish I didn't have to leave a note like this and could just drop it at the bottom of a chapter like I normally would, but I don't have the time to write a full-length chapter, considering that I'm speedrunning outlines. So, I suppose you'll all just have to settle with the knowledge I'm leaving you with, knowing that I'll be continuing Street Lights' development on December 1st.
But because it's NaNoWriMo I'm talking about, if all goes well, I might be able to get a Novel done and sent to a Publisher by late January of next year, and that's at the earliest. Granted, that doesn't mean that it'll be accepted or not, or whether I'll make any crazy gains, but sending it to a Publisher is the goal, you know? Anyway, I don't want to talk about my project too much since I doubt many of you give a shit, which is fine. I mean, who cares what a shitty fanfiction author says in an update note like one of these, right?
So yeah, I'm going to be gone for the next month. I hope you will all find it in your hearts to not be bitter about it because I sure as shit ain't sorry. As much as I love writing Street Lights, this is the first bit of FanFiction I've had fun writing in a very, very long time. And that's only because it's something new! I guess I wanna move on from FanFiction sometime in the future. But that future isn't here yet, and it won't be until I get Street Lights wrapped up alongside a few other small projects.
Let the record show, this isn't some crazy long goodbye or some cancellation of the story, but me telling you that's it going to be a while before I'm able to do anything for this story. Like I said before, I love Street Lights, and I've had a lot of fun with it, but I want to focus on other things in the meantime. At least for November.
Oh, and by the way, in case any of this news is particularly shocking to you, I do have a discord that is open to the public, where I have relatively consistent discussions in there from time to time. So, if you ever feel like checking in and asking me when I'm going to update, doing it in the Goblin Industries is not at all a bad plan.
So yeah, don't be afraid to drop in: 7ksPCNs3ZM
Hopefully, I'll see you lovely folks again before Christmas. If not, then Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. Also, I'll 100% be replacing this note when the next Chapter is out, I promise. So yeah, stay safe, y'all.
Buenas Noches, y Ciao.
