Marco moaned as he slowly opened his eyes. Looking down, he saw his best friend of seven years lying beside him, tightly hugging him with her tail around his torso. Taking a deep breath, he shook his head, "I can't complain. I don't want her hibernating, or worse…but we need to get up," lightly poking Star's cheek, he smiled, "Star? Star, it's time to get up," Star moaned as she shook her head and nuzzled closer to Marco, "C'mon Star, we need to get ready for school an-"

"Too cold…Marco, I don't want to go anywhere…tired,"

Marco saw Star fall limp and his eyes widened, "S-Star? Star, are you-" Star moaned as Marco sighed, "Damn…but we-"

"No school, hijo," Marco looked up to see his mother standing by the door, "It snowed last night, school's closed, so let Star rest," Marco hummed and nodded as he wrapped an arm around Star and Angie turned and walked away, closing the door behind her, Marco took a deep breath as he slowly closed his eyes and held Star close to him.

MS

Star sat on the couch with blankets wrapped around her as she moaned. Looking up, she saw Marco walking around the kitchen, making food for the two of them, "You know," Marco stopped and looked up in confusion, "You don't have to stay in here with me. You could go out…I'll be fine an-"

"Stop," Marco shook his head, "Estrella, I tell you every winter, I'm not going to just walk out and hangout with Janna, Jackie, Alfonzo and Ferguson while you sit in the house by yourself," Star frowned as she slightly hung her head, "What's wrong?"

"During the spring and summer…everyone says I'm a lot of fun…but…during the fall and winter, the others avoid me…they don't come over, and I feel like I'm a burden to you and your parents," Marco sighed as he stepped out of the kitchen and walked towards her, "I can't even go to the store when it's cold. I'll go into hibernation or die and no one will know an-" before she could finish, she felt Marco hugging her and her eyes widened.

Marco pulled away and held Star at arm's length, "No one thinks that way about you and we know you can't go out when it gets too cold and we're not going to force you to," Star opened her mouth, ready to speak when the door opened and they looked up to see Janna, Jackie, Alfonzo and Ferguson stepping into the house, Jackie closing the door behind them, "What are you guys doing here?"

Star frowned and nuzzled deeper into the blankets, "We saw it was snowing and wanted to ask if you wanted to go out," Janna answered and Star quietly moaned as Marco looked at her, "So how about it?"

"No," the four groaned as Star looked at Marco and frowned, "Guys, you know Star is coldblooded…she told you and I did too, and I'm not going to have her go outside while it's cold…she's been my best friend since we were little and we've had each other's back,"

"C'mon, Marco," Alfonzo groaned, "She'll be fine on her own for a while…she's not a little kid and-"

"And what, Alfonzo?" Marco stood up and narrowed his eyes as he tightened his fists, "What in the hell do you guys have against Star during the colder months? It's not her fault that she's coldblooded and…just…what do you have against her?"

"We have nothing against her," Janna and Jackie said in unison and Marco looked at them before arching a brow and Janna continued, "We know Star's coldblooded, but we don't know what we can invite her to during the cold months."

"You can come over, watch movies, play games, whatever, as long as Star doesn't get cold," the air between grew still before Star frowned and slightly hung her head, "Look…I'm not going to leave Star by herself…if you guys want to go out, go out, if you want to stay then you're more than welcome to, but don't force people into positions like that," sighing, the four guests kicked their boots off and took their jackets off before stepping further into the house and sat down on the floor.

Marco sat down next to Star as the monster girl frowned and leaned up against him, wrapping an arm around his torso. Marco looked down in confusion as Star shook her head, "You didn't have to do that, Marco…I keep telling you that you can go out and that I'll be fine,"

"And you can say that until hell freezes over, I know when you're lying and you don't want to be alone," he wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back before lightly kissing the top of her head, surprising her, "Besides, it's too cold for anyone to do anything right now,"

"Y-yeah…right," Star faintly smiled as she laid on his chest and the group of friends silently watched TV.

MS

Angie and Rafael walked through the front door to see Janna, Jackie, Alfonzo and Ferguson asleep on the floor with Star and Marco asleep on the couch, Star nuzzled up against Marco with her arms around his torso and Marco left arm around Star. Smiling, Angie reached for her phone and quickly took a picture of the duo, "And that will be my new background,"

"Seriously, you can be too obvious, Angie," Angie ignored her husband as she smiled at the two sleeping on the couch, "Let the kids sleep, Angie…you know how Star and Marco can get if they see us taking picture of hem while they're sleeping together,"

"I know, Rafael, but…these two are…they just-"

"I know, Angie, but for now, let's let the kids sleep," Angie sighed and nodded before turning around and walking away with Rafael close behind her.

MS

Star moaned as she slowly opened her eyes and looked up to see Marco still sitting next to her with his arm wrapped around her. Smiling, she nuzzled closer to him and closed her eyes again, "Are you warm enough?" she looked back up and saw Marco opening one eye and looking at her, "Well Estrella, are you warm enough?"

"I'm fine, thank you, Marco," Marco smiled as he patted the top of Star's head as Star smiled and looked down at the four still sleeping, "Should we wake them?"

"Nah, let them sleep for a while…let's enjoy the peace and quiet for a bit," Star hummed and nodded as she nuzzled up against him.
