As soon as the last zombie and Samedi were dead and the Masakos secured the airport, the police and reporters were allowed to to enter. Leon informed the police about the tied up Brandon in the bathroom stall and went to join the rest of his team to go pick up Kinzie. He studied the Masakos as he caught up with Asha and the others and noticed that Asha who appeared to be studying the Masakos as well.
"You thinking the same thing?" Asked Leon.
"That a company like Ultor that employees a private army to help deals with with situations like this is a prime suspect in all the bio weapon activity in Stilwater and we should investigate them." Said Asha.
"Exactly." Said Leon.
"Already told Kinzie to look into it." Said Asha.
"Good." Said Leon.
"I have to say King, you handled yourself very well back there." Said Asha to King.
"Thanks. I suppose my past on the street and leading the Vice Kings came in handy back there. I'm not proud of my past, but I picked up some helpful skills from it." Said King.
"Well you're very good with a gun." Said Leon.
"Thanks. I'm a very firm believer in the Second Amendment and I do practice." Said King.
The trio continued walking, until they came face to face with Kazuo and Jyunichi.
"I thank you for defending me and for killing my enemies. You are all great warriors I respect all of you. If you require any aid of any kind, feel free to call upon us. We owe you a great debt." Said Kazuo handing Leon a business card with a phone number on it and turned to walk away with Jyunichi.
"So we can call in a favor from the leader of a criminal organization." Said Leon studying the card.
"Well considering what we saw and just dealt with, we're going to need all the help and allies we can get." Said Asha.
"The enemy of my enemy is our friend. Admittedly they aren't good friends, but they might come in handy dealing with the Samedi." Said King as Leon pocketed the card.
They picked up Kinzie from the plane, called a limo to come pick them up, and headed into the city.
On the other side of Stilwater, the General was sitting in the back of his limo watching a news story about the incident at the airport and waiting for a report from his assault team, but judging from the news report that was giving the death toll it seemed that Kane and the others failed in their mission. The General tried calling Kane and the other members of the assault team, but he couldn't reach any of them, which applied that they were all dead.
"Someone is going to pay dearly for this." Thought the General as he bit hard into one of his cigars.
The war for Stilwater was only just beginning.
To be continued.
