First: It must be SKYE, the HACKER who can are maybe already is superpowered, who unknown (or known?) to her team, has a singing career that may or may not be a cover and source of money that means her 'I live in a van' really was by choice. And in the background, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America etc STILL EXIST AS WE KNOW THEM FROM THE FILMS. INCLUDING NATASHA!

Second: If you say it's natasha, it's the SPY natasha, not a '_charactername_ In-Name-Only'

Star Wars idea I'd really like to read:

An Epic-sized saga spanning pre TPM to ROTJ that starts with a basic idea - What if Padme and Anakin stayed in touch? What if Obi-Wan in a roundabout way (aka, not even realizing it) ends up as a good teacher to Anakin? That one needs a bit of explanation, so here goes. Anakin was a slave. They are not going to use the same word for 'owner' as they would for 'teacher'. Since those are their own words - Owner, and Teacher. To A Slave, a Master is one who owns slaves, and your master owns you. For this fic idea, Obi-wan knows this, but doesn't even know about the other things that would be a problem. For those who've read stories on AO3 with Tatooine Slave Culture including within it (Ekkreth, The Bringer of the Rain, The Trickster God, Amatakka etc) you'll get what I mean. Anakin was born into slavery. Basic is NOT his first language. In this idea, it's not even his second. Also, usually for stories with this basic stuff, it's his third but I'll add it being his Fourth, with Third being Toydarian.

So. Obi-wan being a better master without realising, thinking he's training Anakin the way canon Kenobi did, begins with a little detail - he remembers, when Anakin struggles to call him master and without shielding, blasts his feelings about feeling like a slave everytime he has to use the word, Obi-Wan tells Anakin that he can choose not to use it, that he hopes he is able to refer to it as a rank above Jedi Knight but he does not expect Anakin to just 'get rid of your feelings overnight'.

That said, Obi-wan thinks he's training Anakin to be a 'typical' Jedi, when really, in translating to teach him concepts from basic to huttese because he learns quickly of Anakin's 'lost in translation' troubles regarding the languages. He also doesn't throw Anakin head-first into the no-attachment stuff without realising that he's actually not throwing anakin head-first into the no-attachment stuff... in other words... When Padme calls him one morning a few weeks after leaving Naboo with a new padawan to ask about said padawan, he just smiles and says that Anakin should be back from a lesson in a minute and lets the two talk instead of, (to be implied than outright stated), had that call happened in canon, padme being brushed off with 'he's fine, thank you for asking but I need to -blabla excuse to end the call-'.

Obi-wan is only oblivious to the feelings between the pair for like, the first six years of being Anakin's Teacher. After that... well the two do butt heads about the no-attachment stuff, Obi-wan believing he's trying to teach anakin to become a typical jedi still, but how he's applying his knowledge in teaching anakin and so on really is losing some in translation and the two really are a better pair for it.

Now. Jedi, Slavery, and so on. Most Jedi don't know Anakin is a former slave, except for the Council. Most of those are against Anakin having any contact with his mother because of no-attachment, ignoring the whole slavery aspect. However. With Obi-wan trusted by Anakin more, when the bad dreams start, Obi-wan does get told about them, worries over them and... drum roll... asks Yoda if perhaps a knight in that region could look in on Shmi. 'Free her' being an unspoken request. Yoda acquiesces, as Anakin also told the tr- the old Jedi about the bad dreams. Shmi is found still with Watto, but the knight smiles realising that she's fallen for someone who genuinely likes her and wants her to be free. later reports back and Anakin - days before being told (as he was on a mission with Obi-wan) says that the bad dreams stopped, and he dreamt his mom had been freed by a guy she loves (didn't recall the jedi)

Anyway cue up AOTC. Obi-wan and Anakin have both maintained a friendship with the queen (who is still a queen, she's a monarch, the concept of 'vote in a queen' is... well it's ridiculous. That isn't what a monarchy is damnit lol) and so take on the job. Obi-wan has to pretend not to notice the looks shared between his padawan learner and the queen.

The clone wars still begin... but Obi-wan is silently fuming (and shielding the feelings) that anakin got married... and confused because he's not sure if he's fuming over Anakin betraying the code... or not inviting him to the wedding, because he's had moments of seeing the two together and the moments just felt right in the force, like the Force is just a Anakin/Padme shipper. Or it was fate. whatever. That universe has a prophecy so, fate. yay. (booo.)
