A loud slam was made when a green and white bipedal machine grabbed the hostile mobile suit and did a suplex, slamming the enemy mobile suit onto the solid concrete ground and shut it down.
It all began when an enemy mobile suit had broken through and landed right next to Pharons, Novumundus' mobile base of operations. It is an organization that spans the entire Earth sphere, drawing support from individuals within the government, researching the ancient origins of humanity, with evidence dating back to an advanced civilization that existed 20,000 years ago. Ruins were found beneath the oceans thanks to a marine archaeologist based in Kamogawa, Japan. In that ancient civilization existed machines that can only be described as the ancestors to the machines known as mobile suits.
The marine archaeologist made discoveries, but then Novumundus 'appropriated' them and actually built something out of the discoveries. One of those things built was the green and white mobile suit that suplexed the hostile attacking mobile suit… or whatever it is that attacked them.
The enemy mobile suit's defenses in particular were impressive. It could emit a barrier that functioned as a sort of I-field that could even negate missile attacks. Thankfully, beam weaponry was highly effective against the barrier, the problem was that the skill of its pilot was great. They managed its barriers quite effectively and got close. But deploying Vox Aura, the green and white machine, against it proved successful. Its new pilot was a natural but that was mainly thanks to its cockpit system that allowed the user to control it easily.
Vox Aura had two modes, its waverider mode and the standard MS mode. Currently though, it had no weapons so the pilot had to rely on martial skill, which was of no issue since the pilot just used a wrestling move to defeat the enemy unit. Now the enemy unit was being taken away to be looked at.
Madoka emerged from the cockpit of Vox Aura and stood victorious. "I won!" she then made a circle motion with her hand. "Success!"
The deck crew of Pharos looked on with amazement.
'Did I get carried away?' she wondered as a lone bead of sweat rolled down her face. Her eyes were then drawn to her machine. "Eh? The color changed to green? It was gray a moment ago." she smiled. "Oh well… it looks better this way."
"Excellent work."
She turned to where the voice came from and saw a man in a white outfit. His hair was slightly on the lighter shade between orange and red.
"Huh… oh uh… thanks."
The man just simply kept up his smile. "You have fought brilliantly." he said, "You were able to use Vox Aura's abilities splendidly. I am Moid, and you have made a lasting impression on me."
She tilted her head. "Ox… what?"
"Vox Aura." the man corrected her. "It's the name of the Ovid you piloted."
"Ovid?" she asked. "So… it's not a mobile suit?"
"In a way it is."
"So that's its name, huh?"
Her eyes then turned to the other side and saw a familiar face, a certain silver-haired girl. "Oh.. Lan!"
Lan looked a little hesitant but Madoka didn't seem to notice. She just approached the silver-haired girl with a cheerful smile.
"Did you watch?"
"I…" Lan hesitated. "I did."
The silver-haired girl noticed something on Madoka's forehead and moved the bangs away. "Your forehead… it's red."
"Oh yeah… I hit my head."
Madoka turned to look at the green and white machine, admiring its looks with how angular and organic the frame is. If Casval were able to see this, he'd no doubt drool over it.
Another man approached them, getting Madoka's attention. He wore an outfit similar to what the men and women working here wore, but looked a little more formal, like an officer's uniform. "Excuse me. I'm Tadokoro, the commanding officer of this station. I'd like to conduct a briefing before your next mission."
Madoka began to feel nervous as she processed what was spoken to her "There… there's a next one?"
Looking at Lan questioningly, the silver-haired girl formed a fist with her right hand and bobbed it forward. "Woof."
The nervousness within her only rose as she looked at everyone in the hangar. "Uh… can I... go to the washroom first?"
Chapter 3
The Red Comet
There was still debris floating about in the orbit of Earth. Remnants of the One Year War and far before. Many of these ruins were untouched, serving as monuments to the lives lost. Among the most famous of ruins was the destroyed station of Laplace, the first habitable space station and home to the first president of the Earth Federation, before it was destroyed by a terrorist attack. It was also the perfect hiding place for Damon as he observed a certain 'alien' ship now orbiting Earth undetected. Since his departure from the Thunderbolt Sector, the 'alien' ship had been on the move.
The ruins itself had been damaged due to the Laplace Incident a few years ago, the original pilot of the Sinanju was here, battling a Gundam. Despite its poor state, there was a certain beauty to the place. This is where it all began.
"Definitely got some kind of sensor jammer." he muttered as he eyed the vessel. "It's beautiful, I'll give it that. Red Comet to Marida, are you getting my feed?"
"We're seeing it, Red Comet. Definitely not Federation design and definitely running some kind of stealth system. We're not seeing it on our sensors either. Then again it would probably look like a civilian freighter in the distance."
"I can read some kind of heat signature from it." Damon said as he removed his helmet and ate a granola bar, one of several he packed for his trip. "I'm sending you the data now. Hopefully we can use it to identify more of these guys. I'm pretty confident they're alien at this point…"
"If that is indeed true, it's going to cause quite a stir. We've already informed her highness about this and are preparing for whatever happens. Also, her highness has been contacted by an organization calling themselves Novumundus."
"Any info on them?"
"Only that they got a pretty sizable private army and that they could possibly be connected to this. Since you're already on your way…"
"I'll be representative." he finished. "Understood. But that means there's a chance her highness could be coming down to Earth in the near future. That'll make her a high profile target. Hold up… got something…"
In the distance, he saw one blip exit emerge from the unknown vessel. The light trail indicates a mobile suit.
"One more mobile suit has deployed."
"We see it. Go after it."
"Understood."
Putting his granola bar away, he put on his helmet and manned the controls, slowly exiting out of the ruined station before activating his thrusters. Not wanting to waste any time, he quickly made his way towards the surface of the planet. As he was about to enter the atmosphere, he felt that tugging sensation again.
"What the hell?" he muttered. "Just what am I sensing now?"

Off the coast of Kamogawa
Pharos
Fin E Ld Si Laffinty, or simply known as Lan, is a princess and younger sister to King Dizelmine, the current reigning king of the Polyhedron nation of Le Garite.
20,000 years ago, there was once an ancient civilization on Earth, before it was destroyed in a cataclysm that forced many humans to leave their dying world and settle in other habitable systems. These systems formed what is now known as Polyhedron. Much like Earth, they regressed technologically and had to rediscover their roots. History was filled with conflict, much like Earth. Religion, ideologies, political differences, the people of Polyhedron fought each other for many different reasons. It was the same down here on Earth, history just likes to have its wars with many dead.
And now… Le Garite is at war with the Kingdom of De Metrio for a very big reason.
"So this Day Meti place is going to hit your world in a thousand years?"
"De Metrio." Lan said. "And yes. The Thousand Year Problem everyone calls it. Because of this, tensions are high as remnants of De Metrio called Kiss have begun to fight against Le Garite."
Madoka had to snort. "Kiss? That's a silly name!"
Lan had to smile at that. "I suppose it is."
The princess stood up and went for the door.
"There's something I need to do, so you can freshen up here."
Madoka nodded. "Alright, thanks!"
As Lan left the locker room, she could not help but feel guilty. 'The Vox…' she lamented. 'She doesn't know about the legend, so of course she isn't afraid. What if she knew? Would she have still piloted them?'
And then she felt it. She looked around.
"What was that? What is this overwhelming presence? It… it's strong…"

Kamogawa Londo Bell Garrison
"Jeez…" a Londo Bell MS pilot shook his head. "Your girl is something else. You sure it was her in that mobile suit?"
"It's her." Casval said. "She's the only one crazy enough to do a suplex in a mobile suit. And she's not my girl!"
"Just ask her out when you get the chance man."
Casval frowned. "You make it sound so easy."
The Londo Bell pilot shrugged. "Sometimes, it really is. All it needs is the guts to do it. If you don't… you'll definitely have regrets."
"I've actually been planning to ask her out today." he muttered.
"Shit happens." the veteran pilot said. "Nothing can be really done about that. All you can do is just move on and wait for another chance. For now, just finish what you need to do."
"The OS is already in." Casval declared. "I have a feeling that a test is going to happen in a moment."
"You think there's gonna be another attack?" the veteran inquired.
"Those Novumundus guys did capture one of them, right?"
The veteran pilot was no fool. He had served as a member of the Ra Cailum's mobile suit squadron before being promoted and getting his own team, with Casval being a member. He also fought in Char's Rebellion and was one of the many Jegan pilots that risked their lives in trying to stop Axis from plummeting into Earth.
Commander Daryl McGuinness is a proud soldier of the Federation, but he is also not blind to what the Federation has done. Even now, there are the Man Hunters, a subsidiary of ECOAS (Earth COlony ASteroid), apprehending 'undesirables' here on Earth and deporting them into space, giving those people incentives to join the several anti-Earth terrorist now roaming the Earth sphere. He is fully aware of how corrupt the Earth Federation's government is.
With how ill the state of the poorer areas of the Earth sphere are, Londo Bell is going to have to work harder in order to maintain the order.
Daryl also felt a sense of duty to look out for Casval. Amuro did save his life after all. It's why he requested that he be transferred to this little garrison and form a team. He also felt lucky that the young pilot also happens to be the new Gundam pilot.
Daryl couldn't help but look on with a little pride as he watched Casval do some final touches to the new model.
The RXN-100 Hi-Nu Delta Gundam. It is a highly advanced transformable mobile suit designed to be used by Newtypes like Casval. Based on the mobile suits the Delta Plus, it is capable of not only launching into space without any boosters thanks to the new Epstein drives, it can also do unassisted atmospheric re-entry. Its true strength lies in its speed as it was designed for high-speed combat. It is also armed with the rather infamous beam magnum, the same type of weapon used on the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. The beam magnum is a highly powerful energy weapon as with each shot is worth four regular beam shots. It's basically a mega-particle cannon that uses special e-pacs loaded with five shots before needing to reload. Regular beam weaponry were built into its shield and can be taken out to be held in hand should the need arise. Another addition was a pair of high-speed fin funnels mounted on the back. This allows the craft to engage multiple enemies at high speed. But its its most advanced feature was the Minovsky flight system, allowing true flight capabilities in the atmosphere.
Casval had already tested the machine using an outdated OS. With the new OS Casval finished, it should be able to perform much better than before. With how well he designed the machine and how well he can pilot, it was no surprise that many saw much of Amuro Ray in him.
"How's it looking, kid?" Daryl called out.
Casval, whom exited out of his machine's cockpit, nodded. "All adjustments are complete. It's ready."
"Good. Remain on standby for now."
"Yes sir."

Pharos
Madoka, wanting to at least call her cousin, was now roaming around Pharos trying to find a good hotspot for her phone. For some odd reason, this place didn't have good reception for her phone service.
"Just what is this place?" she muttered as she went from corridor to corridor. "I can't even find a stairwell… Oh, what about this."
She ended up entering a very open room, a hangar. Its lights were off but the light coming from the hallway illuminated some area, especially what was at the center. Madoka found herself in front of a mobile suit in its mobile armor mode… or was it waverider mode?
"It looks like the one I used… but it's different."
She got curious and walked around, noticing more similarities. The only difference were the wings, they were round and swept back compared to hers, which were swept forward. It still had that organic beauty to how the curves seemed to give it its streamlined look. Much like hers, it is beautiful.
"Who's there!?" she suddenly spoke up upon hearing noise, footsteps more like. "Is anyone there?"
She heard that tapping noise, as well as some other muffled noise. It came from the rear of the hangar and followed it there. What she found was not what she was expecting. It was a golden-eyed and well-endowed girl her age with ginger-colored hair and a casual outfit with fur boots. She wore a black and tube top skirt, a white belt with a golden heart-shaped buckle, and a fur overcoat that only covered her arms.
"Excuse me. I'm…"
"Lost!" the mysterious girl cheerfully said as she turned around. Madoka saw this and widened her eyes as they both pointed at each other.
"You too!?"
"You too!?"
The ginger-haired girl looked ditzy as she tilted her head. "Um… who are you?"
"The pilot… or rather… uh..." was the response. "Madoka Kyouno. You?"
"I'm Muginami."
"So…" Madoka fumbled in her words, completely taken aback by Muginami's cheerful attitude despite being lost. "Uh… Muginami…"
"Roger that!" was what Muginami said as she gave her a salute before pointing the other direction. "Then, I'm going to look over there. You go that way."
"Uh… okay…"
Muginami disappeared into the darkness of the hangar. Madoka simply did what was suggested before pausing. "Wait… what was I supposed to do?"
"Madoka."
She turned to see Lan at the doorway. "Oh, Lan! Sorry, I got lost. I was trying to find a way to call my cousin since she left so many messages. I bet she's worried."
The silver-haired girl shrugged. "That's fine. Come on."
Lan led her back to the locker room and showed her a green outfit that could only be described as some form of pilot suit. It wasn't a suit designed to be in space though… not like a normal space suit that Casval once showed her. Unlike the boy she has liked since childhood, she was born here on Earth. Casval was born a spacenoid before moving down to Earth. He knew what it is like to live in space.
And now, she actually met an alien. Well… Lan is still human but she happen to the princess of a kingdom called Le Garite, located somewhere far away in a cluster of systems called Polyhedron.
"I'm sorry." Lan spoke.
"What?" Madoka looked up. "What for?"
"I wanted to do more to help." the silver-haired girl, her face full of guilt. "But right now I'm just forcing everything onto you. But… I could only fly it."
"Lan…" Madoka muttered. "You… you're a pilot too?"
The silver-haired princess nodded. "I am… but I can't activate it. I'm sorry…"
Madoka scratched her brown-haired head and let out a sigh. Standing up, she went over to where her new pilot suit is and smiled. "Help me with this, would ya. I don't think I can put this on on my own."
Lan looked at the brunette and responded with a small smile. "Sure."
/-\
Madoka once again found herself in the cockpit of the machine she flew earlier.
"Seriously…" she muttered as she checked the controls, remembering some of the things Casval taught her. "Why can't they give it a simpler name? Ox… Dox… whatever… I'll worry about that later."
"Kyouno." came in Tadokoro as his image appeared on the cockpit's 360-degree screen. "Are you all set?"
She nodded. "I am."
"Good, now listen up." the man began. "An enemy has been sighted 100 klicks southeast of Oshima. Judging by its speed, it'll be here in 3 minutes."
She gaped. "3 minutes? Can mobile suits even go that fast!?"
"Nevermind that. As for your Vox Aura, we will control its piercer mode until you activate its warrior mode. So just sit tight like last time."
"So… we're going to use the same strategy as last time?"
The last strategy she mentioned happened to be right after she launched. Head on against the previous enemy, she basically headbutted the enemy and collided with the enemy's shield. It possibly triggered her craft's transformation process, allowing to defeat the enemy machine and capture its pilot.
Tadokoro nodded. "Yes, that is precisely what's going to happen."
Madoka let out a heavy sigh. "I see. Understood."
"Kyouno."
She looked up once more. "Yes."
"The future of our world rests in your hands."
Her eyes widened. "HUH!?"
"We're counting on you."
"WHAT!?" she screamed as the transmission ended. "Wait a minute! I can't handle that kind of pressure right now! The whole planet!? I'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO TOKYO!"

Red Comet
"I-field barrier is steady." Damon muttered as he begun his reentry sequence. His craft was shaking but there was no damage thanks to the new system installed by Laplace Industries. "Gotta hand it to those techs. With this being successful, ballute systems will be a thing of the past. Our mobile suits will be able to go into any planetary atmosphere with zero issue."
"Red Comet, this is the Marida, how are things on your end?"
"Reentry system is working perfectly, so it's basically a success. Tell the techs at LI they can begin mass production."
"Communication seems to be working perfectly."
He snickered. "Another thing to thank them for then. Entering the atmosphere now. Going to activate the Minovsky flight system in a moment."
"Godspeed, Aznable. We'll see you when you're done."
The moment he entered the atmosphere and went into a controlled descent, he felt the same presence from earlier once more.
"The sensation is getting stronger." he muttered as he did a scan on his surroundings, making sure there wasn't anyone or anything nearby. "That means there's a newly awakened Newtype down there. They're definitely down there."
He would have gone down faster but he decided to take his time in his descent. He needed time to assess the situation a little better. He knew there was a battle going and he detected not one, but two unidentified signals. Both are mobile suits but of unknown make.
"The other one must be made by this Novumundus." he muttered. "Could it also have Minovsky flight of some kind? Nevermind that, time to do a weapons check."
High output beam rifle, beam sabers tucked into the arms, beam axes built into the shields, grenade launcher stored in the shield.
"All thrusters are working at 100 percent." he muttered. "Psycommu system is working at nominal parameters."
His eyes closed as he felt the mental interface, connecting his mind to the machine. He could practically feel the wind as he fell from the sky. That is how in sync he is with his machine. In terms of combat capabilities, Newtypes are far more potent than regular humans as they can make their machines react much quicker, giving them a leading edge in combat.
"All right…" he grinned as he pointed his beam rifle forward, specifically towards the target locked from beyond visual range. But then his sensors lit up as a new target emerged from a distance away, heading towards Kamogawa at full speed. "Oh… another one huh? So that makes three total sighted."
But then warnings sounded as numerous other targets came up on the radar. Their IFFs read unknown but scans indicated a mix of One Year War era GM and Guncannon mobile suits and a few Hizacks and Marasais from the Gryps Conflict. They were an anti-establishment terrorist organization that is known to operate in the Pacific region with the objective of 'destroying all that is corrupt'. They had no qualms of taking out innocent civilians if it meant sending a message. Many within the terrorist organization were veterans of previous conflicts. They were high in the most wanted terrorist list throughout the Earth Sphere for their brutal attacks.
"Terrorists." he muttered. "Shit, this is going to get dicey for the people down there."
Fighting old war models shouldn't be a problem. The problem is that terrorists tend to not care about their wellbeing, meaning that they will fight to the last and with every ounce of their strength.
Damon punched it and headed down at full speed.
That sensation he was feeling was getting stronger.
/-\
Gundam Pilot
Amuro gritted his teeth as he prepared to deploy. None were expecting a third unknown machine to reveal itself and none were expecting a terrorist attack to happen. He felt nervous as this will be his first time heading into combat. None of the simulations could ever truly prepare himself mentally for what was to come.
Old models those terrorists may be using but they're still very dangerous, especially if they're targeting Kamogawa, his home.
"How many enemy mobile suits total?" Casval inquired as he powered up his machine, doing last minute checks to ensure that nothing is wrong with the OS integration into the machine.
"Added with those two new 'unknowns' that came from space?" Daryl was the one to reply. "Total of twenty-six. We're going to have to focus on the Lions' mobile suits. Your girl will have to handle the unknowns on her own."
"What fucking timing!" Casval growled as his cockpit came to life, displaying all the systems right before him. Multiple screens appeared, ranging from the machine's internals to the weapons it was currently equipped. "Chief, give me the standard beam rifle for now. No way in hell am I going to risk using the beam magnum close to the city."
The crew chief nodded and gave him a thumbs up. "You got it, kid!"
The hangar was abuzz as they were all scrambling with what units they have. Unfortunately, they were going to be outnumbered as this was a large force attacking the city. Kamogawa offered no real strategic value and is simply used for fishing and agriculture. These bastards were just going to attack a city considered unimportant to the Federation so that they could send make a point: the Federation never cared about them because it was just an insignificant city. That would elicit even more anti-Federation sentiment. Word has it that they are being supported by remnants of the Titans, a group that was once an elite force of the Earth Federation, whom ultimately abused their powers to oppress the colonies. They were believed to be wiped out at the end of the Gryps Conflict, but pockets of them survived and began supporting several terrorist groups all over the Earth sphere while also using their own forces to make attacks.
The Lions of Jamitov, named after the Titans leader General Jamitov Haiman, whom wanted to take control of the entire Earth Federation and create an oppressive empire.
They claim to be waging war for the good of Earth, and yet…
"You're good to go!" the crew chief said as the new Gundam was loaded with a long beam rifle. "Good luck out there, kid! Kick some ass!"
Before closing the hatch to his cockpit, Casval saluted the ground crew and then headed out to join his squadron commander. It was just him, Commander Daryl, and two Jegan mobile suits. It will be just them against a large number of enemies.
"If only we had a larger garrison." Daryl cursed. "I don't regret getting a posting here but… the brass really downplayed on security here."
"Kamogawa isn't worth much unfortunately." another member of the team spoke. "So the brass didn't feel it important to give it added security."
"Perfect place to build a Gundam though." another retorted. "No one would expect a new model to be tested here. You ready for this, Cas?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." the young Gundam pilot muttered. "Do we at least have fighter support?"
"None." Daryl was the one to say. "We have a few naval ships on sight to provide artillery fire, but they're going to be limited as to not risk hitting the city. So it's up to us."
"So what about those aliens?" one of the team members asked.
"Cas's girl will have to handle them herself until we can take care of the terrorists."
Casval inwardly cursed as he gripped the controls, looking onward and looked at the red blips on his screen. The enemy force were approaching with the greatest of haste. "Commander, all systems are green on my end."
The other three mobile suits boarded their base jabbers.
"Roger that. Team McGuinness, take off!"
Leaping into the air, Casval's machine transformed into is waverider mode and followed his team. It was already clear they were headed into a furball.
"Please watch over me dad. Help me protect my home."
In the distance, they were alerted by the sight of a yellow beam that bisected one of the enemy mobile suits.
"The hell!?"

Madoka
Although she could pilot the machine as it felt like piloting a mobile suit from Casval's simulators, this was the real deal. She was panting heavily as she battled the newcomer. The other disappeared, reported to be hiding underwater for some strange reason.
'Finish what you start, Madoka!' she mentally reminded herself. 'Or Youko-nee will yell at you and say that you should quit the Jersey Club! And I'll most likely ever go to Tokyo... or... or... never go out with Casval...'
Now THAT, was simply unacceptable.
"RAAAAGH!" she cried out as she charged forward. Her opponent drew a broadsword that seemed to be made out of energy. Bright orange but looked to be single edged. It was already clear that it was not a beam saber. Proof was that she tried to actually grab it, only for it to pass right through and have her machine's head hit by the blunt edge of the blade.
"Dangit..." she blanched. "I should have asked Erika-senpai to help me with this technique."
Seeing her being distracted, the enemy unit then kicked her, sending her throttling towards a farm patch. When she looked at what she landed on and saw the mess...
"AAAAAH!" she screamed in horror. "Old man Nagase's peanut farm!" she cringed at the poor sight. "I'm sorry, gramps. I'll treat you to some grilled eel with sesame some time!"
From the sky, the sword-wielding mobile suit she was fighting landed before, pointed the blade at her and lifted its left arm, launching what appeared to be a wire that attached to her cockpit.
"As expected." came a male voice from her opponent. "You are indeed worthy to be the pilot of a Vox. You instantly reacted to my non-lethal strike and boldly took action. Most impressive."
"HUH!?" she exclaimed.
"I've never seen such a move." the enemy pilot spoke. "Are you, by chance, a pilot of this planet?"
She frowned. "And what if I am?"
"This is a warning." he boldly spoke. "I don't know what Le Garite told you, but we do not intend to harm you people. We only want you to come with us to our planet."
"How about an 'I'm sorry' first?" she retorted. "To old man Nagase and his peanut farm! Secondly, to everyone in Kamogawa. You owe them all an apology!"
"Never mind that."
"NEVER MIND THAT!?" she bellowed as her face was going red with anger. "You drop in, out of the blue, and scare everyone half to death! Who the heck do you think you are!?"
"The crisis on our planet..."
"And what makes you think I'll think about a planet I don't even know about or even been to!?" she retorted. "I'm not blind! I know what's going on around my world and its sphere!"
She heard the enemy pilot sigh. "So that means you won't listen to what I have to say?"
She frowned at him as she gripped the controls. "You're in for a surprise if you think the Jersey Club indiscriminately hears out all requests!"
"The Jersey Club?"
"So please allow me to turn you down!"
The enemy pilot let out another sigh. "That's most unfortunate. Then you leave me no choice."
Her eyes widened as the enemy mobile suit raised its blade.
"I'll just have to take it by force!"
"MADOKA!"
She was alerted by the familiar voice of her alien friend Lan, aboard a Vox but with slight difference compared to hers. It was also different compared to what she saw earlier. It also didn't seem like Lan had complete control of her craft. Something was wrong. But Madoka's worries only worsened when the previous enemy, whom was hiding beneath the water, reemerged and attacked her friend.
Her eyes could only widen as the enemy grabbed onto her friend's machine and raised its weapon. "LAN!"
