*SPLASH!*

The feeling in itself was exhilarating. It was like nothing in the world mattered. I thought I would lose my mind, but quite the opposite I was more focused than ever what lasted only mere moments felt like an internity a feeling you never want to end is this what the birds in the sky experience every day of their life they get to experience it all the time yet I could only share it for a short moment. Soon I hit the ocean like an arrow piercing through its target. My surroundings changed in an instant, no longer pure wind embracing me but a cold blue void. However, it was soon enough I was reminded of a crucial fact. I need air to breathe. There was only one thing isul was ever direct about teaching me, and that's how to swim. So kicking and pushing, I made my way to the surface.

*gasp*

I slowly made my way until reaching the shoreline beach based at the bottom right next to the cliff. The waves were not rough; however, not so gentle either. Not making moving difficult but not making it easy. When I finally reached the beach. My strength was almost entirely spent. I collapsed on my back on the sand, gasping for air and catching my breath. when I heard a noise

*clap* *clap*

Turning my head to see who was behind me, I saw isul he was sitting on a log I had brought down here a long time ago when he was teaching me how to swim but what really caught my attention was my black blade was set right next to him.

" good job, boy didn't think you would be able to do it," isul said

Regathering my strength, I began to lift myself off the damp sand. It was a struggle, my whole body and muscles being half numb. But I made my way towards him until I finally reached him and sat on the other side of the dead tree.

"you were right," I said

isul looked toward me with a curious grin. He had never shown this much emotion nor any manner of conversation. I would be surprised, but my body and mind were so mentally drained that I didn't even bother to point it out.

"right about what?" he asked.

Judging by his facial expression, it was clear he already knew what I was referring to, but he simply wanted to hear me say it, maybe too humble me, perhaps to humor on my stubbornness.

"everything," I replied.

"I wanted kill to take a life, but I didn't understand what I was taking away," I said.

He looked at me with a smile on his face smirking, I had never thought he was capable of such a thing before.

"when taking a life, you must fully understand what it means to be alive. If not, you will only end up a murder who doesn't care for it. Where there is life, there is a chance for change to decide on a different course. but death is absolute." he said

isul then grabbed the black blade and unsheathed it from the scabbard. isul gazed at his reflection. There was sadness in his eyes but also pride he grind.

"This sword belongs to an order that had existed long before dragons died out long before the iron throne, an order of assassins. No one knows when the order was created. It could even be before the targerians were even around. but why it was created has never been forgotten."isul said

*isul raises his right arm*

"freedom," he added

*flicks wrist*

*SHINK!*
