It begins at Royal Woods Elementary School, as everyone prepares for first period.

Lincoln entered the classroom and sat down. Mrs. Johnson cleared her throat in an attempt to get everyone to quiet down and settle down. "Okay, class, I'd like to make a special announcement. We have three new students in our class today, so please extend a warm Royal Woods welcome to Ed, Edd, and Eddy. They've just moved here from Peach Creek, Georgia, so make them feel at home. Ed, why don't you sit next to Liam. Edd, why don't you sit next to Lincoln and Eddy why don't you sit next to Zach."

"Don't mind if I do," Ed said cheerfully.

"I'd be delighted," Edd politely replied.

Eddy shrugged his shoulders. "Sure."

The Eds settled into their seats.

Lincoln decided to become friends with the Eds because they were new to Royal Woods.

"Hello, my name is Lincoln Loud," Lincoln said to Edd.

"It's nice to meet you, Lincoln," Edd said. "My name is Eddward, but with two "Ds." My friends call me Double D."

"Good nickname," Lincoln said appreciatively, before asking, "What was Peach Creek like before you moved to Royal Woods?"

Edd smiled briefly before replying with a frown. "It was a wonderful place to call home, but due to recent events, we decided to move."

"What happened?" Lincoln asked, curiously.

Eddy exhaled a sigh. "We don't like talking about it much. Anyway, my name is Eddy. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lincoln."

"Same here, Eddy," Lincoln said.

"My name is Ed," Ed said cheerfully. "I have a feeling we're going to be great friends, Lincoln."

J.D. and Varie were having lunch with Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach, Lucy, Laney, Lana & Lola, Lisa, and the three Eds in the cafeteria.

"So you guys moved here?" J.D. inquired, and all three of them nodded in response. "That's great. Welcome to Royal Woods."

"Thank you, J.D," Ed said gratefully.

"What are some of your favorite foods, Ed?" Varie asked, curious.

Ed named the foods he liked with his fingers. "I like Buttered Toast, Gravy and Jawbreakers."

"Are they those tiny jawbreakers?" Clyde asked.

Eddy shook his head. "No way. Those are pathetic. We like the large ones that are the size of basketballs."

Laney's eyes widened in awe at that. "That large? Those must be really good."

Edd agreed with a nod. "They're delicious, Laney."

Liam noticed Edd never took off his hat, so he had to ask, "So Double D, why do you always wear that hat?"

"He never takes it off because he has a hideous feature that he hides," Eddy explained before quickly apologizing. "I'm sorry, Double D."

"It can't be that bad," J.D. said, but then he wondered. "Can it?"

Edd sighed and removed his hat, and they witnessed a horrifying sight that I can't even begin to describe.

J.D. screams and covers his eyes with his hands. "AAAHH! MY EYES! THEY BURN!"

"I THINK I'M GOING TO BE SICK!" Varie screamed in horror.

Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, Laney, Lucy, Lily, Lola & Lana, Lisa, Clyde, Liam, and Zach went to the trash cans and threw up. They all sat down again after Edd re-applied his hat.

J.D. calmed himself by taking a deep breath. "Okay, I stand corrected. I'm sorry we asked Double D."

Edd sighed. "No, J.D., it's fine."

J.D. decided to switch topics. "All right, so what made you decide to move to Royal Woods?"

"Well it was because we had three delinquent sisters who lived in a trailer park not far from where we used to live," Eddy explained.

"Their names were Lee, Marie, and May Kanker," Edd said, shuddering slightly as he said them.

J.D.'s eyes widened in surprise because he recognized those names. "The Kanker Sisters? I've heard of them. They were charged with 1st Degree Attempted Rape and sentenced to 4 years in the Atlanta Juvenile Correctional Facility."

Eddy grimly nodded. "Yeah. That's them."

"What exactly is rape?" Lincoln asked because he had no idea what that meant.

J.D. whispered into Lincoln's ear what rape was, and he turned red and hid under the table.

"We were chased out of the Cul De Sac when Eddy's latest scam for money to buy Jawbreakers went wrong because of me," Ed sighed.

"You scammed your friends into buying Jawbreakers?" Varie asked them in disbelief.

Edd nodded, embarrassed. "Yeah and because of that we had to run."

"Kevin, Jonny 2x4, Rolf, and Nazz set out to hunt us down like wild animals," Eddy explained.

"The Vengeance Express was out to get you," J.D. realized.

"And they wouldn't stop until they had pulverized you into oblivion until there was nothing left," Lucy continued.

"We decided to seek refuge at Eddy's Brother's house," Edd explained.

"Jimmy and Sarah told the Kankers, and they tracked us down at Mondo A Go-Go Amusement Park," Eddy explained.

"You went all the way to Mondo A Go-Go Seaside Amusement Park by yourselves?" J.D. exclaimed, shaking his head. "Wow, that's insane."

When Lincoln emerged from beneath the table, his face was no longer flushed.

Eddy agreed with a nod. "I know, but we found my brother's house in the amusement park. He lives in a whale-shaped mobile home. But everyone in our neighborhood showed up, and while I was glad to see my brother when he arrived, he was a total jerk to me throughout my childhood. My brother bullied me a lot, and it ruined me, which is why I became a greedy and selfish jerk. I made up everything about my brother because I wanted everyone to think I was cool. He did teach me how to con children, but the rest was a lie. When I was younger, he used to constantly beat me up."

"Eddy, that's awful!" J.D. exclaimed, covering his mouth.

"It's times like these that I'm glad I stopped being a bully," Ronnie Anne said, disgusted by what Eddy's brother had done.

"What your brother did, Eddy, was completely unforgivable," Varie said, shaking her head.

"What a jerk," Lincoln spit out, disgusted.

"That's horrible!" Lola yelled.

"What a monster!" Lana yelled.

"Eddy's brother isn't even allowed to be called a Homo Sapien, Street Name: Human Being," Lisa said, adjusting her glasses.

"I'm so sorry that happened to all three of you," Lily said apologetically.

Ed smiled gratefully and continued. "Yeah, but the worst part came next.

Edd continued where Ed had left off. "The Kankers kidnapped us and took us to Eddy's Brothers Mobile Home, where they glued the door shut and began torturing us. Jimmy, Sarah, Jonny 2X4, Kevin, Rolf, and Nazz attempted and nearly succeeded in rescuing us, but the Kankers tied us all up. But, at the last moment, Eddy's Brother appeared and saved us. He did love Eddy, and the cops were called."

J.D. whistled at that. "Boy, you guys narrowly avoided suffering a fate worse than death."

"Those Kanker's were monsters, making Attila the Hun look like a cute kitten," Laney scowled.

"That's a good analogy, Laney," Edd agreed, because it was true.

After hearing about the Kankers, Sarah joined them at the lunch table.

"I'm glad those stupid Kankers got what they deserved," Sarah grumbled.

"You must be Sarah, Ed's little sister," J.D. said, ignoring what Sarah said because it was true.

"That's right," Sarah said. "We're you talking about what happened to my friends and my big brother?"

J.D. gave a nod. "Yes, Sarah, we were."

"Sarah's in my class," Lucy explained.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Varie said politely.

J.D. decided to shift the conversation to a different topic. "What can you tell us about your friends in Peach Creek?"

Eddy thought for a moment. "Well there's Jonny. He is always speaking to Plank, a piece of wood."

"Hmm," Lisa remarked. "Inanimate Object Communication is a method of avoiding Social Phobias."

"Lisa, you are very smart for someone your age," Edd said, noticing her intelligence.

"Lisa is the genius in my family," Lincoln stated proudly, making Lisa blush slightly at the praise.

"Kevin, on the other hand. He was a total jerk," Eddy said in disgust. "He was only concerned with his bike. His father works at the Jawbreaker Factory and has a garage filled with Jawbreakers."

J.D.'s jaw dropped open in awe. "Wow! That's a lot of Jawbreakers."

When Edd mentioned the next person, he sighed dreamily. "Nazz is a beautiful and extremely kind and lovely girl. She's an angel from heaven."

"She sounds like a very nice girl," Zach said knowingly, smirking.

Eddy continued, "Then there's Rolf. He came from another country and had a farm with chickens, pigs, cows, and Victor, a goat."

Since they both lived on farms, Liam said, "I'm sure I'd like him."

"His chickens were very cuddly," Ed exclaimed, almost bouncing in his seat.

Lana laughed as she said, "You sure like chickens, Ed."

"I LOVE chickens, Lana," Ed nearly yelled.

Sarah smiled as she spoke about her friend. "Then there's Jimmy. He's my best friend. He loves doing all sorts of things with me."

"Seems like you two were very close," J.D said, smiling because he could tell.

Sarah agreed with a nod. "We were. But our moms moved us here to get us away from the past."

"Oh yeah," J.D. said, nodding, and then apologized. "I'm sorry if this has reopened old wounds, but we want to do everything we can to help you. That's what friends are for."

Eddy gave a grateful smile. "Thank you, guys."

The bell rang, signaling the start of the next class.

On the way back home, Ed, Sarah, Edd, and Eddy showed them where they lived.

"Those are our houses over there." Eddy pointed to three houses across the street from the Loud House, one red, one green, and one blue.

"My house is the green one," Ed explained.

"My house is the red one," Edd explained.

"And the blue one is mine," Eddy explained.

"Wow," J.D. exclaimed. "You guys live right next door to each other."

Varie agreed. "That's cool."

"Let me introduce you to our parents," Ed said.

Ed took them to his house to meet his parents.

"Mom, Dad?" Ed called out wondering where they were.

"In the kitchen, son," one of his parents replied.

They entered the kitchen and met Ed's mother, Angela, and father, Tim.

"These are my friends, Mom," Ed explained. "We met them today at school."

Angela smiled warmly at them. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Angela, and this is Tim, my husband."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," J.D. said. "My name is James Knudson, but everyone calls me J.D. My family and I moved to Royal Woods six months ago."

"I'm Varie," she explanied. "J.D.'s my fiance. We won't be married until we turn 25."

"Congratulations, you two," Angela said, happy for the couple.

"Thank you," J.D. said as he wrapped his arm around Varie.

Lincoln introduced himself. "My name is Lincoln Loud. I live across the street from you."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Tim politely said.

When they arrived at Edd's house, Edd asked them to take off their shoes.

"Double D, why do we need to take off our shoes?" J.D. asked, curiously.

"Double D likes to be very tidy and clean," Eddy explained.

"Oh, I see," J.D. said, understanding. "I respect that Double D."

They took off their shoes and entered the house.

"Mother, Father?" Edd called out.

"In the bedroom upstairs, son. Be right down," one of his parents replied.

When the parents arrived downstairs, the kids met Edd's parents, Carla and Lennard.

"You know Ed and Eddy, Mother and Father," Edd said. "I've invited some of my school friends over."

Carla gave them a friendly smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Carla, and this is my husband, Lennard."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," J.D. replied. "My name is James Knudson, but you can call me J.D. My family and I moved here six months ago."

"I'm Varie," she explanied. "J.D.'s my fiance. We won't be married until we turn 25."

Lincoln introduced himself. "My name is Lincoln Loud. I live across the street from you."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," said Lennard. "We usually aren't home most of the time so we communicate via sticky notes."

"I see that," J.D. said, nodding as he noticed all of the sticky notes. "You've got a bunch of sticky notes all over the place."

"It's a tradition we have," Carla explained.

They arrived at Eddy's house, and in the living room, Eddy introduced them to his parents, Jack and Jessica.

"You know Ed and Double D, Mom," Eddy explained. "These are more friends."

"It's a pleasure. I'm Jack. Eddy's Father," said Jack politely.

"I'm Jessica. It's a pleasure," Jessica said politely.

"Pleasure is ours," J.D. said. "My name is James Knudson, but you can call me J.D. My family and I moved here six months ago."

"My name is Varie. J.D.'s Fiance, we won't be married until we're 25," Varie stated.

"My name is Lincoln Loud. I live across the street from you," Lincoln explained.

"Eddy's a great guy. I can tell we're going to be best friends," J.D. said.

This was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

THE END.
