Ok, this the latest chapter in the first Magnificent 10 story. Now this is a small chapter, but the next one will be long. I've also seen the latest Craig of the Creek, and seen capture the flag. Can anyone imagine if Steven Universe, Courages the cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd n Eddy and 101 Dalmatian Street met? I can see Hunter De Vil, Steven, Connie, the Gems, Courage and the kids of the cul de sac vs The King?
I can see Steven, Craig and Lion along with Wildernessa and cheeses ticks vs the Squashinator. And Connie and Kelsey vs the BFF. And the Eds fight the enemy forces, we know Eddy's the man with the scams, Edd the gadget guy, and Ed the lovable giant with incredible strength. And I can see Courage helping in a way, as for the 101 Dalmatians and Hunter, I can see helping hold off BFF.

After their meeting with Blue Diamond the Voodoo witch of the Bayou, who explained most of the history of the Diamonds' lineage. So now they decided to meet Yellow Diamond.
They rode to Yellow Diamond's mansion in North Dakota. Ashitaka on his elk Yakul asks Connie: "Connie, what do you know about Yellow Diamond?" Connie answers on the wagon while looking through the files she's acquired from the local library of North Dakota: "Not much is known. They say she's a brilliant military strategist. And that's about it." San questions: "That's all? I thought there be more." Dipper states about Yellow Diamond's lack of information: "Yellow Diamond is a lowner, she keeps to herself. No one has seen her in ten years." He explained the reason behind the little information regarding Yellow Diamond.
Steven says with optimism: "We'll just have to find her and talk to her. I'm sure she'll tell us." Marco being skeptical: "I don't think it's gonna be that simple. She's gotta be like a hermit, meaning she doesn't get out that much. So she won't want to talk to us." Star agreeing with Steven's point of view: "We'll just have to wait and see." They continued their journey to reach Yellow Diamond's home.
After two weeks of traveling they finally reach the mansion of Yellow Diamond. They stood before the front gate which was held the Diamond symbol, and a sign that says 'Go away'. Ashitaka says: "Well here we are."
They saw the mansion and it was huge 4 stories tall and long as 3 miles. It was surrounded by a 3ft high stone wall. Mabel says regarding the sign: "The sign says go away. But we did come all this way, we can't turn around now." She dismounts and walks to the wall. Jean asks Mabel: "Are you sure that wise Mabel?" Nadia adds in agreement: "Jean's right. There could be guards or traps."
Mabel takes their warning and scoffs, she then removes the sign but cannot open it for it has a lock and chains. Mabel says out frustration: "It's locked. I guess we'll just have to climb over the wall." Nadia says to Mabel: "Mabel we want to meet her but as trespassers." Mabel doesn't listen and climbs over the wall, but as she crosses, she almost falls into a trench filled with spikes. She exclaims and screams as Steven, Connie, and Dipper dismount from Lion and rush to save her. They pull her up off the wall, the male twin says to his sister: "We warned you." She says explaining what almost happened to her: "Wow! That was scary, there's trenches filled with spikes!" The whole group looks over the wall to see the trench all over the other side of the wall and it surrounds the whole mansion.
Connie exclaims: "Woah! Yellow Diamond really doesn't like trespassers." Marco adds in agreement: "Maybe we should leave. There's gotta be more trap like this all over the place." Almost everyone nods in agreement.
Star on the other hand is still persistent: "Stop being a bunch of Fraidy cats. And besides she can't have a lot of traps." She walks towards the gate, sees the lock. "Here's a trick Leni taught me." She pulls out a hair pen out of her pocket and starts to pick the lock until finally, the lock is unlocked. She removes the lock and chains, then opens the gate.
As the opens the gate, they all entered but still feel uncomfortable about entering the grounds without permission, unknown to Lion who pulls on a tripwire string, that leads up to the mansion and it's connected to three cages which opens releasing 3 Rottweilers who runs to the gate to attack the intruders.
Back at the gate with the Magnificent 10, Steven sees the wire, and says: "Guys, I think Lion tripped over some kind of security system." Connie says hoping it's not serious: "I hope it's nothing important." The Rottweilers stop and see the eleven youths and their animal companions. The Magnificent 10 along with Marie turn to see the three guard dog all who are growling and barring teeth which almost looks like foaming at the mouth.
Mabel, Star, Steven, Mari and Nadia all talked simultaneously to the three guard dogs: "Nice puppies. Good doggies. Sit, stay. Who's cute puppies? You are. No need to bite us." The three dogs pay no heed to their words even if one was a comment, and they showed no fear even at the pink lion. Ashitaka, San, and Star pull out their weapons ready to defend themselves, the Rottweilers were ready to attack until some one a strong yet feminine voice spoke in German, to the dogs who stands down and stopped growling.
The woman was the very person they were wanting to meet, Yellow Diamond the 30th. She wore a dark yellow and olive bodysuit, a yellow coat with shoulder pads, yellow gloves, and olive-yellow, high-heeled boots. She wears a short yellow tailcoat-like attire. She has light skin and black markings around her eyes. dark yellow eye shadow. Her eyes are also yellow and wears a short, helmet-like bob yellow hair with two spike tips. The noble woman asks the Magnificent 10 in English: "Who are you? And give me a reason why I shouldn't release my dogs on you." She asked in a demanding tone.
Ashitaka answers: "We're the Magnificent 10, we spoke with your sister almost a month ago. We came to meet you and talk with you." Yellow remembers hearing about the Magnificent 10 from wanted posters, and news papers. The Noble woman says: "Oh yes. I've heard about you. Since you came all this way, please come in and have some refreshments." She leads them to her home, but stops and turns around. "However your pets will have to stay out here." San feels insulted that their animal friends are called and says: "Pets?!" Ashitaka calms down his wife, to keep from making a mistake.
The Gypsy boy, Hindu girl, and the twins dismount from Lion, the rebel princess, the Hispanic teenager, the French inventor and Freed African American, and little girl slave dismount from their individual horses the two Japanese also let go of Yakul the red elk go.
Then two Large body women both called Topaz and lead the horses, lion, elk, the lion cub and pig to the stables where they keep the horse. Mabel asks: "Where are they taking our animal friends?" Yellow Diamond answers: "They're taking them to the barn. Amusing the lion won't eat my cattle." Ashitaka reassures her: "Don't worry." Steven adds in agreement petting his lion's main: "Yeah, he wouldn't hurt a fly. And he only eats what he needs." So the two women leads the animals to the stables.
Yellow Diamond was unsure of the certainly but took their word. The Noble woman stood before her front door, she knocks which opens to reveal her servant who's name is also Pearl. She looks similar to Blue Diamond's Pearl, the difference is that she has a necklace line that is cut into a diamond shape in-the middle and exposing legs. She also wears puffy, sheer yellow sleeves, as well as long, pale tangerine stockings and canary yellow flats. She has yellow pixie haircut that is styled up to a point, with puffy side, and one diamond shape locked in the middle of her forehead. She had pale white skin.
Yellow Pearl says: "Greetings my Diamond. Shall I take our… 'guests' weapons?" Yellow Diamond answers: "Yes." As She walks past her servant Yellow Pearl walks up and is about to take San's knives but stops her by grabbing her hand and growls at her. San says angrily and threatenly: "No one touches my knives."
Pearl is frighten by the growling woman, until Ashitaka says to San to calm her down: "Easy San. We're guests here, and once we leave we'll get them back." So San releases Pearl's wrist and she give her, her knives as does everyone else who relinquish their weapons.
After relinquishing their weapons and followed Yellow Diamond into her home, Yellow Pearl whispers to herself regarding San's growls: "Savage." She walks off to put the weapon in a chest.
Yellow Diamond leads the Magnificent 10 and their young friend Marie walked down the hallway seeing numerous of paintings, and suits of armor belonging to Yellow Diamond's ancestors throughout the centuries. Each are either wearing armor or uniforms from Ancient Egypt to the British Empire of the 1870's. And on display were numerous of individual armor belonging to different cultures. One of which belongs to the Roman Imperial officer's armor with a old oak wood branch.
Marie asks Yellow Diamond regarding the shield: "Excuse me ms. Diamond, why does this armor have a piece of wood?" Yellow Diamond turns around and answers: "That belongs to an ancestor of mine. She was one of many Yellows throughout history." She explain who the wooden branch belonged to.
The Nobel woman shows tablets, paintings, clay pottery and armors belong to the Diamonds who existed in Ancient Egypt, Roman, Templar Knights, and Red Coat officer uniforms.
Ashitaka says still regarding each armor: "There are so many armors which they wore. A few from each era and different culture." Jean adds: "I've read about the Roman's once, even saw the armor on display in the British museum. But why does this one warrior has a branch as a shield?" Yellow Diamond answers: "Like I said it belong to my ancestor, Yellow Diamond the 12th. During the Roman Empire, and it had settlements in Britannia. But there were under attack by a Barbarian hoard, lead by an 8ft tall man with a bull skull like helmet." The eleven youths were shocked and interested to hear.
Yellow Narrates the events of the past: "The Emperor sends an army of a hundred-thousand warriors." History showing the event, Yellow Diamond the 12th look in like her descendent only Roman armor riding on a black horse, and by her side was a Roman Commander who was a strong, wise, and courages man. He was wearing a Roman general's armor and having a thick black beard, and was Yellow Diamond's fiancé at the time.
After many months of traveling crossing from Italy, to England at a Roman settlement called Londinium. The Roman army gained reinforcements from the local army making it 30,000 plus 100,000 equaling 130,000.
They marched passed the gate, on the plain making a battlefield, the Roman armies and Barbarian hoard fought. The Romans had superior weapons, training and numbers. But the barbarians despite having crude weapons and no armor but they fought savagely. The leader of the hoard wielded a mace, he swung his weapon killing five Roman all with one swing. He was also incredibly strong, one Roman soldier charges with an axe only for the bull skull wearing leader but he grabs him by the neck and snaps it like a toothpick.
"Despite the added 30,000 they fought valiantly against the hoard, but the barbarians were too powerful. And the Hoard leader had sworn, to wipeout the line of the Roman's tribe. He began by beheading the Roman commander who was Yellow Diamond the 12th's fiancé." The Bull skull wearing hoard leader held the Roman commander by mohawk of helmet. The Roman era Yellow Diamond saw in horror, of her beloved being killed, the Hoard leader tosses the head which rolls on the ground to insult Yellow. Yellow Diamond the 12th yells: "NNNNOOOOOOO!" She yelled in horror and anger.
Back in the present of 1876 Yellow Diamond the 30th continues the story: "After the fall of the Roman Commander, the army felt like all hope was lost. They were leaderless, defeat, and death were upon them." Back on the battlefield the Roman were being overwhelmed and retreating.
Yellow Diamond the 30th continue to tell the story: "That's when she made her move." On the battlefield, the Roman armored Yellow Diamond stood her ground as the Bull skull wearing hoard leader spins/swings his mace, causing Yellow Diamond the 12th to loose both her sword and shield, then fall on her back. As the Barbarian leader is about to finish her off, but she dodges the attack and picks up a piece of oak wood branch. "Her armor wrent, wielding nothing but an oak branch as a shield." The barbarian leader hits the wooden branch multiple times, but it didn't give, or break or even cracked. "But his mistake, he was facing a Diamond." Roman era Yellow Diamond picks up a fallen soldier's sword and cuts the Barbarian hoard leader's arm that held the mace. He screams in pain as he clenches his opened wound. "The Bull skull wearing Barbarian learned that day. The line of the Diamonds would not be so easily broken."
In the present the Magnificent 10 were astonished by what one person with nothing but a piece of wood can do against monster like him.
Back on the battlefield, the hoard leader was being carried by three of his warriors to save him and heal his wounds.
Yellow Diamond the 12th shouts in Latin (translated): "In the names of Romulus and Remus! Rally to me and fight!" The Roman warriors gathered and Followed Yellow Diamond and continued to fight the barbarian hoard. "Her forces rallied amd drove the hoard back. Their enemy was defeated."
In the present, Yellow Diamond the 30th facial expression and tone of voice changed to a sadden expression: "But there was no feast. Nor song that night. For their dead were beyond the count of grief." On the battlefield, it was covered with fallen Romans, 130,000 were brought to only 50 survivors. "Only did 50 survived. But that was considered to be my ancestor's greatest victory and defeat."
In the present Yellow Diamond was so sadden by the story she actually tear up. Most of the M10 teared up as well hearing the story.
After hearing the story they disburse to see the numerous of historically and cultural relics from weapons, armor, pottery etc…
San, and Jean were looking at the Egyptian tablet. Jean says regarding the tablet: "It's incredible! It's almost like a museum, and I think this tablet tells the story of the Diamonds' rise to power." San asks Jean: "Can you read what it says?" Jean answers his friend's question: "I cannot. I'm not fluent in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics." San was a bit disappointed but judging from what it depicts a man and woman murdering a Pharaoh, then the woman commits suicide and the man is mummified.
Ashitaka and Marco looked at an old pottery which also explains about the Diamonds' history. Ashitaka says in astonishment: "The Diamonds' history goes far back as ancient Egypt. These armor and weapons says it all, the stories they could tell." Marco says regarding the uniforms and armor: "Could you imagine leading entire armies while wearing these kinds of armor and uniforms?" Ashitaka replies: "Well they were in a desert climate, so they didn't need a whole lot of heavy metal or cloth to wear them down." Each Egyptian armor was a different generation of warriors who wore them. The first Egyptian armor was golden armor with a lion shape helmet, and has a sword in it sheath. The second armor was more like scales tunic with a blue-crown-helmet and it carried a khopesh a curved sword inside it's sheath. The last one wore a a thick chest-piece armor and has a Nemes and face plate, and carried a bronze tipped spear and shield. Marco says to Ashitaka: "You were Ashitaka. The stories these armor could tell us the battles they fought." Ashtiaka replies: "True, but one must asks how many they fought, or how many died?"
In the Roman Imperial part of the Hallway Star, Nadia, Dipper looked at the statues and pots belonging to The Roman Empire. Star says regarding the Roman armor with the oak wood shield: "Can you believe it? One person defeated an 8ft tall man with nothing but a piece of Oak wood as a shield?"
Dipper states: "Well Oak wood is a tough wood. They evolved to be strong enough to withstand the elements." The freed slave acrobatic nods in agreement. Nadia says: "So each armor, belonging to a different generation. I couldn't even think about going into battle with these armaments or armors." Each Imperial Roman was different. The first one was the Oak wood shield, but it also has a standard Glandius sword, and a Roman mohawk helmet. The second one was a Roman Centurion armor and it had a Glandus sword and a Spatha sword. The third and last one was a Roman general's armor with helmet and has one bow and a pouch of arrows, 3 javelins and one spear but no sword. Nadia asks regarding the use of different weapons: "Look I'm not a fluent in historical accuracy, but why does each of these armors have different use in weapons?" Dipper guesses: "Maybe they were trying to be individuals." Star agrees: "Yeah I can see that."
In the Knights Templars section are five Knights armor, which Steven, Connie, Mabel and Marie looked at. Connie says: "Wow! Could any of you imagine wearing these into battle? I could, riding a white stallion charging against numerous of foes." Mabel replies: "I couldn't and I think they would chef." Steven adds in agreement: "No arguments. Plus on a hot summer's day, it would feel like being in an oven." Marie says: "I think they look scary." She feels frightened by them. The five armors were like the Egyptian and Romans they were individuals. The first one was a standard knight armor with a sucoat on top of it with a red cross resembling a crucifix stating it's loyalty to Christianity, it carried a Broadsword, and the helmet had wings on the sides. The second armor was like the first but it had a 14th Century Great Helm, and carries in it's hands a war hammer. The third armor wore a Crusader Helmet II, and carrires a double blade axe, and carries a crossbow. The fourth armor worse Crusader Great Helm 16 Gauge and held a handled axe and water springer mace. The last one wore a Great Helm - 16 Gauge and held a flail and two swords.
As the female Japanese woman stairs at Roman armor, the Noble woman walks up to her and asks: "Do you like the Roman's armor?" The former feral woman replies: "I cannot say I like or dislike them. But than again I do not know much about the Romans, or their empire or who even found it." Yellow Diamond tells the story: "Well then, let me educate you on the origin of the Roman's leaders. The founders of Rome were Romulus and Remus, who were founded and raised by a she-wolf until a farmer discovered them." San interrupts: "Wait, you're saying the founders were raised by a wolf? I was rasied by wolves." Yellow Diamond was easily annoyed by being interrupted. "Please continue." Yellow Diamond continue to tell the history: "Anyway the two were once like simple people, who took control over a small tribe. Romulus became the first king and he turn a small village into a kingdom then an empire, that expanded all over Europe to the Middle East. But eventually it fell. Everything that has a beginning has an end. But despite their fall, their name stood the test of time." She finished explaining the history of the Roman Empire.
The whole group gathered to see a red coat officer's uniform, belonging to Yellow Diamond the 27th. Ashitaka asks Yellow Diamond: "Ms. Diamond? Who does this old uniform belonged to?" Yellow Diamond answers: "This belonged to my grandmother, Yellow Diamond the 27th. She was one of the many commanders during the American Revolution."
Steven Universe asks: "The American Revolution? So she fought the crown and all that stuff?" The noble woman replies with a simple version of a complexing meaning: "It was a different time." Connie states: "What with unjustified taxation, and forcing people to follow the will of a tyrant 10,000 or more miles away." Yellow Diamond rubbing the back of her neck and says: "Not only that, but one of our family members defective and fought for the American colonies independence." Ashitaka says regarding the deserting Pink Diamond: "So, what you're saying is, that a member of your family chose to fight for the colonies' people's right for independents?" Yellow Diamond answers: "Yes. After calling for a cease-fire between her and Pink, the two argued over the fate of the colonies. But eventually my grandmother was defeated, on the last battle of an island. After the war Yellow relinquished her sword, and (cracked voice and tearing up) we lost Pink Diamond the 14th."
Marie misunderstanding when she heard 'lost', and says with sympathy: "Sorry to hear that. How did she die?" Yellow corrects her: "She didn't die on the battlefield. After the war we kept an eye on her but somehow she manage to give them a slip. It's been over a hundred years, so she's presumed dead." Ashitaka says to Yellow Diamond: "We're sorry to hear that. And for whatever it's worth. Thank you for letting us into your home." The Magnificent 10, and Marie decided to leave, so they go to retrieve their animal companions.
At the front entrance Yellow Pearl give the 11 youths their personal belongings back. And after retrieving their animal companions they ride off leading back to New York.
As for Yellow Diamond, she sat in her living room by the fireplace, Yellow Pearl brings her a cup of tea. As Yellow diamond looked through her scrapbook that shows much of her family tree, including her great-great grandmother White Diamond the 49, her Great grandmother Yellow Diamond the 27th, her great aunt Blue Diamond the 25th, and Pink Diamond the 14th. All were seemingly happy wearing dresses belonging to the 18th century.
