Ok this is the last Magnificent 10 chapter for this year. I'll be back to that starting in the spring of 2022. And I'm exciting for more the Owl House.
My personal thought regarding the Owl House, a lot of people think Hunter the Golden Guard is either his nephew or clone or something like that, which I agree with the nephew but clone that's putting it a little too hight. But we'll just have to wait and see. So please leave a comment, ideas and other suggestions in the review box.
Two weeks have passed since the meetings with Yellow and Blue Diamonds, the Magnificent 10 just resettled with in the home of the Loud family, along with Ms. Electra whose still doing reports as a journalist, now's tackling a report in South America, across town where multiple home apartment complex owned by a Hispanic family called the Casagrandes, who also runs a store called a Medicato.
Lincoln Loud takes Steven, Connie, Marco, Star, Jean and Nadia to the Medicato to meet Lori's new boyfriend and his little sister Ronnie Anne. Steven asks Lincoln: "So what do you know about this family?" Lincoln answers: "Well from what I've learned Bobby is a sensitive but hard working young man. In fact he took multiple jobs, before he started working for his family's Medicato." They stopped as traffic was keeping them from crossing, Connie continues the Conversation where Steven left off: "What about his sister?" Lincoln answers: "Ronnie Anne's a bit of a tomboy. When we met in school she kinda teased me, but overtime she and I became great friends." After the traffic ended, the youths began to cross to continue their journey to head to the destination.
For some time they reach the Medicato, they entered the store and see Bobby running cash register. Bobby is tall as Lori. He has tan skin, and black hair with a tuft combed upwards. He's wearing a white shirt and brown pants with suspenders and a apron over his first clothes.
Lincoln happily greets Bobby: "Hey Bobby." The young Latino young man replies the white haired boy: "Hey Lincoln! What are you doing here? And whose your new friends?" Lincoln answers: "Oh, these guys are members of the Magnificent 10. This is Steven Universe, Connie Maheswaran, Marco Diaz, Star Butterfly, Jean Raltique and Nadia." The group greets Bobby: "Hello, Hi, Hello, Hi there, please to meet you, charming." The said simultaneously.
Then coming into the store is a Teenage woman, two boys and a young girl, all Hispanic. Lincoln turns around and says to the girl: "Hey Ronnie Anne." Ronnie Anne replies: "Hey Lincoln." Ronnie Anne is a Latin-American girl tan, black hair worn in a low ponytail, freckles on her cheeks, and two buck teeth that stick out of her mouth. wearing a dress related to Hispanic culture. Ronnie Anne says: "Hey there Lincoln. Who's you're new friends?" Steven answers: "Hi, I'm Steven Universe, me and my friends here are members of the Magnificent 10." The Hispanic girl replies to Gypsy boy: "Hey I've heard about you guys. And the rest of the M10. It's nice to meet you. These are my cousins, Carlota, CJ, and Carlino." Carlota is a plus-sized Latin American teenage girl with two pairs of eyelashes, and long black hair, with some strands styled into a ponytail. She wears golden circular earrings, magenta lipstick, a light seafoam dress with a white collar, two orange bracelets on each wrist, pink socks, and brown boots. CJ is a portly and stocky Latin-American teenage boy with black scruffy hair. He wears a yellow shirt, a black bow tie with red outlines, dark blue shorts, white socks, blue shoes with green laces and black shoes. Despite being 13 years old, where most kids have already or are just starting puberty, CJ is very short in stature. And finally there's Carlino, who has black hair that is styled in a pompadour, and he also has a missing tooth, much like Lanaand Lola. He wears a red shirt, with brown pants. The cousins greet the Magnificent 10 members: "Hi, Hello, How ya doing?"
The two groups actually like one another, Carlota walks to Nadia and asks: "You're Nadia right?" The freed slave acrobatic nods yes. "Oh, I must say I love your hair style. And is it this naturally blackish blue?" Nadia answers: "It's the color i was born with." While the two girls talked, each commenting the other, Carlino who tries to work his charm on Connie, he pulls out a hair-com and straightens his hair, and says to Connie: "Hello there chika, wanna go on a date with a real Hombre?" Connie awkwardly smiles and says: "I appreciate the offer but I'm already seeing someone." Steven besides her making obvious that they're dating, Carlino feels let down.
CJ walks to Jean and asks: "Hey Jean, so is it true you're an inventor?" Jean replies: "Yes I am." CJ continues to asks: "Do you think you can teach me how to build? Cause I always wanted to build a pirate ship." Jean question: "You like pirates hu?" CJ answers: "Yes. Being on the high seas, and saying 'Arrg!' Sounds fun." The groups had their individual conversations. Then Carlota asks: "Say do you guys wanna stay for lunch?" They al nodded yes. Lincoln states: "Oh you guys are gonna love Rosa's cooking it delouse and melts in your mouth." Marco says: "Mmm…sounds like it's more of a feast." Star adds: "If it's that delouse I can't wait."
The Magnificent 10 members follow the Casagrandes up to their apartment. In the living room on the chair is the Grandfather Hector playing his guitar, He is a short, round man with tan skin, black eyebrows, a thick, bushy gray mustache, and gray hair at the sides of his head. He wears a tan shirt with an asparagus green jacket, that has patches on the elbows, olive green pants, and black shoes. In the kitchen is the Grandmother Rosa who's cooking for her familia at rapid speed, she is a short, rotund Latin American woman with tan skin, dot eyes, short black hair, rolled into a bun, and golden circular earrings. She wears a navy blue dress, with a white collar, as well as having white on the end of the sleeves, a greenish blue apron, and black shoes.
Carlota says to her grandmother: "Abuela we brought some new friends. Do you care if they stay for lunch?" Rosa stops cooking and answers: "Well of corse they can stay." She turns to the guest and sees what they look like. "Besides they'll all skin and bones. Have you ever been eating enough?" Nadia requests for Rosa: "Uh, Mrs. Casagrande can you make me a meal that that's all fruits and vegetables, cause I'm vegetarian?" Rosa replies: "Sure, no problem." She returns to the kitchen, and leaving the hallway in their apartment is another Latino man, woman and a baby.
The man is Carlos SR he has short black hair, with some of the strands standing up, and also has thick, black eyebrows. He wears black glasses that have a square frame, a cream long sleeved shirt, a light green sweater, a red necktie, brown pants, a black belt with a yellow buckle, and dark brown shoes. Next to him is his wife Frida she is a tall Latin-American woman, with tan skin, long black hair, a uni-brow, orange earrings, and two sets of yellow pearl bracelets on her wrists. She wears a pink dress, with a greenish blue pattern on the top, and light brown flats. And in Frida's arms is their youngest child Carlitos is a Latin American toddler, with two front teeth, a strand of red hair, and has thick black eyebrows. He wears a white shirt, red shorts, and black shoes.
Then a large Dog named Lalo comes out of the hallway even jumps on Star and starts licking her, Star laughs and says: "Hahahha! Stop it that tickles!" Marco gets the dog off of Star, then flying in is the pet scarlet macaw Serigo. Frida says how we have guests. Hola I'm Frida, this is my husband Carlos Sr, and our baby Carlitos." Jean says to the parents: "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Casagrande I'm Jean, this is Nadia, Steven, Connie, Marco and Star." Carlos recognizing the French accident replies: "Oh, Bonjour Jean, je m'agaelle Carlos Casagrande vaici ma tendre épouse Frida." Jean replies in astonishment: "You speak fluent French. I'm impressed." Carlos SR replies: "I'm a perfect student back in my school days. Even after school I still find time to learn."
Frida asks Nadia: "Excuse me mis Nadia, could I borrow you for a moment?" Nadia nods why not. The Hispanic woman leads The freed slave to her room.
Steven and Connie sat on the floor next to Carlitos, the Gypsy boy says to the baby: "Hello Carlitos, do wanna us to play?" The baby boy claps yes for the answer. The Gypsy boy and Hindu girl plays with the baby, who begins to mimic, what they are doing. Both Connie and Steven replies to his cute mimicry: "Awww!"
As for Star she enters the kitchen wanting to help Rosa in the kitchen, while Marco sits next to Hector on the couch, whose playing his guitar. Jean and Carlos SR found a couple of books to read that fascinated them both. As for Frida whose using Nadia as a model.
Star asks Rosa: "So what are you cooking?" The Abuela answers: "Oh, I'm making empanadas, arepa and tajades." The rebel princess found it all appetizing and speaks her mind: "Wow! Sounds delicious. I can't wait to eat it." Star starts to help cook with Rosa adding the ingredients.
Marco breaks the ice by asking: "So you own the Mercado?" Hector replies: "Sure do. It's a great place, to meet people, make new friends and gossip." Marco says to Hector's reasons he owns a Mercado: "Great." Hector giving Marco a drum: "Hey, play this drum. Join in." Marco replies: "Sure, why not?" Marco plays the drum as do Hector with his guitar but both play in a Hispanic rhythm.
In Frida's room Nadia is wearing an Aztec female warrior's outfit, she's wearing a Aztec headdress called a Moctezuma II, with a loincloth and a sheet wrapped around her chest, and around her neck, both her wrists, and ankles are golden rings even has warrior face paint (removable paint) and with a spear in her right hand. All while Frida is painting her image on a canvas.
Nadia asks feeling a bit uncomfortable: "Uh mrs. Casagrande? Why am I dressed like this?" The Casagrande wife answers while still painting: "I'm doing art work and I needed a model. And one who…who…who looks (crying)." She begins to bawl as tears flows down her cheeks. Nadia puts down the spear and apologizes: "Ah, I'm sorry if I made you…" Frida stops her and says to Nadia as she dries her tears: "No,no. I'm just so happy. And you do look lovely in that Aztec outfit. Like a Aztec Goddess." She continues to cry as Nadia comforts her, but Nadia realizes she's just really passionate about her art.
Elsewhere in town, Ashitaka, San, Dipper and Mabel are walking through a part of New York called China Town. Mabel says speaking her mind: "Wow! So this is China Town?" Ashitaka says in agreement: "Yes it is. Hard to believe that this part of the city didn't even existed." The saw a whole town filled with people shopping, buying goods, foods, and clothes.
The four kept walking until they see a building that looks like a small temple. They entered in, and it was a Buddhist temple, in the center in front of the Buddha statue was a young boy who has a shaved head wearing robes of a monk. Mable seeing the boy and says: "Hooo!" Dipper stops his sister and says: "Mabel we've been through this before. Once you see a new boy you instantly go crazy."
Mabel questions: "(Scoffs) Name one time." Dipper has her scrap book, showing the times she quickly act when she falls in love too quickly and before thinking and ends up getting heartbroken. "Ok, so I might've quickly fallen in love. But this time I'm feeling lucky."
The female twin pampers herself, then rushes to meet the monk boy. The monk opens his eyes, he turns to his left and see Mabel, he jumps and screams, when she spooked him. Mabel loudly says: "Hello!" The boy calms down and replies: "Ho, hello." Mabel continues to introduce herself: "I'm Mable it sure is a beautiful scene in this temple. Would you have the time to give a tour?" The monk answers: "My name is Aang. And I would like to give you a tour." He stands up and sees her friends and brother gathering up to Mabel's side. Aang asks: "Oh, if you're with Mabel than I can give you a tour too. My name's Aang." Dipper replies: "I'm Dipper, Mabel's twin brother. This is Ashitaka and his wife San." Both Japanese bowed, the monk boy bows back.
The tour begins with the trip down the hallway, Ashitaka's eyes are drawn to the niches placed in the walls on both sides of the hallway. He nudges San to show her the beautiful statues and adornment placed with in the niches.
Ashitaka says speaking his mind: "This place is amazing and beautiful." Aang explains: "This temple is 50 years old. It was built when the Chinese immigrants who built little China town. They wanted to keep their traditions and faith alive in the new world. So they built this place of worship." Dipper asks regarding the statue of a woman with four arms: "I get this is a Buddhist temple. But I can't help but notice there's a Shiva statue. Why do you have that? Do you worship Shivs too?" The monk answers: "Don't be silly. It was a gift." Mabel questions: "A gift?"
Aang explains the story behind the statue: "You see it began many centuries ago. During one of our monk migrations explorations where we travel across all over Asia. One trip we migrated to India to an ancient temple. We'd exchange food, prairie and statues. This statue is over several centuries old." They also saw an old pot. San asks: "What's the story regarding this pot?" Aang answers: "This pot came from Japan. This is a symbol generosity from the emperor of 794 AD." Ashitaka sees a crucifix and asks: "What about the crucifix?" The monk answers: "That's most recent. It was given to the monks by our neighbors of a Baptist church. When this temple was completed they wanted to show kindness and extend the hand of friendship and brotherhood."
Mabel says: "Wow! You are so smart about all of this historical stuff. Are you an avid reader this era?" Aang replies: "Well, it is our duty to take care of all the artifacts, and to maintain the history of everything that enters our temple. Thank you for asking." San asks: "You know of all these things, do you have anything related to nature?" The monk nods yes.
In the scenery around the temple showing four kinds of gardens, the sand garden which four old men are tending. The vegetable garden which are tended by both old men and young boys. There's the flower garden which has Chinese flowers, and is tended by some women and girls. The tree garden has four monks meditating underneath it. There's also the animals, there's a few chickens, an ox, a few pigs and an assortment of butterflies, monarchs, blue morphos and many other species of other butterflies.
Mabel says to Aang: "Amazing! You got all kinds of animals here." Aang states why they're here: "Here we find all life scared. Here they're like our pets and fellow begins." They understood, not judging even San understood balance of nature better than anyone.
Mabel bluntly comes out saying: "Wow! You like animals, I love animals. Wanna be my boy friend?" Before he could reply a old man with a goatee beard and bushy eyebrows says with a rough voice: "No he cannot." Mabel questions: "Who are you to speak on his behalf?" Ashitaka answers instead: "That's the problem Mabel. Buddhists monks are dedicated to their religion. They don't have time for relationship." Mabel was a bit of frustrated by another let down." Aang apologizes: "I'm sorry Mabel. I just hope we can still be friends."
Mabel turns to Aang her sad face changed into happy and says: "Yeah we can. Besides this isn't the time I got let down. But to be fair the first love attempts were a bunch of gnomes, a psychic evil boy, a merman, and a few cute vampires." Dipper a bit confused says: "I don't remember the vampires." Mabel says: "I don't tell you everything." The monk boy, the two Japanese and female twin laughed at what she said.
Back at the apartment Steven and Connie played with Carlitos and put him to crib, ate some of Rosa's cooking then began to explore the apartment, in the hallway they pass a teenage girl who's roughly around Ronnie Anne's age and hight and looks half Chinese and half caucasian. The girl is a light-skinned, half-Chinese girl, with long brunette hair and freckles. She wears a blue dress and white shoes, she sees the two and says: "Oh hello, are you new here?" Connie answers: "No we came just to visit. We met the Casagrandes." The girl asks: "So you met Ronnie Anne?" They nod yes. "Great. I'm Sid Chang, I'm Ronnie Anne's best friend." Connie replies: "I'm Connie Maheswaran and this is Steven Universe." Sid gasp then says: "Wait as in Steven Universe, the Gypsy boy with a pink lion and Connie Maheswaran the Hindu girl sword woman? As in members of the Magnificent 10?" Steven questions: "Seriously? Dose everyone know about us?" Sid replies: "I've read about you in the newspaper. You should meet my family and the rest of the tenets of the apartment complex." Sid guides the duo into her apartment room number 3A. Inside they meet Stanley Chang, he's the father and is an Asian man with short black hair. He wears a white shirt, light brown sweater with two yellow horizontal stripes, dark brown jeans and dark brown shoes. Sid's lil sister Adelaide she is a small, light-skinned girl, with brunette hair tied into pigtails with red bands, and buck teeth. She wears a sleeveless red shirt with a white collar and a yellow button on the center, along with a purple skirt, and has black shoes. Lastly the mother Becca Chang Becca is a light-skinned woman with long blonde hair, pink lipstick, two pairs of eyelashes and freckles. She wears a dark green dress and black shoes.
The half Chinese American girl continues the tour showing the other tenets. The first they meet is Mr. Nakamura is an Asian adult male with a full head of brown hair that has a few silver streaks in it. He has thick black eyebrows, bags around his eyes, and a cleft in his rather chiseled chin. He wears a light blue shirt with yellow buttons, a black vest with yellow button, a dark blue tie, dark gray pants, and brown shoes. Who's taking pet dog Nelson who's a Bearded Collie a walk his number 4A. The next person is mrs. Flores is a tall young woman with tanned skin, long black hair and red lipstick. She wears a pink shirt with short sleeves and white collar, red skirt, and red shoes. And her son Alexis who is a short, tubby tan-skinned boy with short black hair and eye bags. Alexis wears a white striped white shirt, blue pants, and black shoes and their pet Chihuahua they live in apartment number 4B. The next person they meet Miranda who's carrying groceries to her apartment Miranda is a plus-sized Hispanic teenage girl with fluffy brown hair, that she holds in a tiny pigtail with a red pigtail holder. She is rather pudgy with a pear-shaped face and a tiny torso, which is contrasted by her wide hips. She wears white pearl earrings, red lipstick, and wears a yellow dress and red shoes. Another person they meet who literally comes rushing up the stairs and does five pushups 3 times one with both arms, one just the left arm and the third with just the right one. Her name is Mrs. Kernicky She has medium-length grey hair, and she wears golden square earrings with lipsticks. She's wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, and boots.
Sid says to Steven and Connie: "Well that covers the apartments and the tenants who live in them." Connie says to Sid regarding the people: "They were very nice people." Steven adds in agreement: "Yes. You know despite different culture, you see the best of people in here." Then a man coming up the stair of the fourth level is a teenage man he has blackish-brown shaggy hair, his most prominent feature is a dark red scar over his left eye that extends over his ear. He's wearing a brown shirt, and black pants and boots. Steven says to greet the man: "Hello sir." The young man doesn't reply he just walks to his apartment. Connie asks Sid: "Who was that guy?" Sid answers: "That's Zuko the neighborhood grouch. He's not much of a people person, keeps to himself mostly." Steven wondered about the scar on his face. Could it be from an accident? Steven didn't know, but felt there was something about Zuko.
Back with Ashitaka, San, Dipper and Mabel in China Town and who just left the temple, after Aang introduce his pet bison he found on the Baron plains of Nebraska and ring-tailed-lemur from Madagascar.
Ashitaka says to his friends: "So how did you guys like visiting China town?" Mabel answers: "It was amazing! We got to see a temple building. Meet a cute boy named Aang and his pets." Dipper adds: "We got to see Chinese culture, and…" He's interrupted by grunting and punching sounds, they turn to see at an ally fight. They walk to the ally to see a large group of people who are watching two men fight.
The man on the right was a tan skinned Chinese man with a chin beard and has a bun ponytail, wearing nothing but long pants, the other side is a large man, who's overweight and only had four teeth similar to a hippo's teeth, wearing nothing but a sumo wrestler's fighting wears. The announcer named Xin Fu who's wearing green Chinese vest and brown pants.
Xin Fu says to the group of people: "Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready?" The crowd cheered wanting to see the fight. "On the left side the challenger called the Bolder, the Strongest and Meanest man in all of China town. On the right side the Big-Bad-Hippo, the largest man alive!" The four youths watched, while Ashitaka, Dipper and San said nothing regarding to the fight. Mabel yells: "Bolder! Break Big-Bad-Hippo's teeth!" She shocked her friends and brother by her yelling and shirking.
The Bolder says to his opponent: "Listen Hippo, you maybe Big, but you ain't bad. The Bolder's a living landslide and that's how I'm gonna win." Big-Bad-Hippo replies in a simple line, but angry tone: "Hippo, MAD!" The fight begins Hippo starts with a punch, only for the Bolder to block the attack then kicks Hippo in the gut the head butts him.
The Big-Bad-Hippo topples back but still stood, the overweight man charges this time he uses a belly flops, sending the Bolder back to the ground only to jump back up.
Then he picks up a brick and throws it, only for the Hippo to catch it and crunch it with his large hippo teeth, and spits it out. The Big-Bad-Hippo then jumps to bodyslam on the Bolder, just as he was pinned, only for him to lift the Big-Bad-Hippo over his head then tosses him out of the ring. The crowd cheers while some jeered for they lost their betting money.
The next contested is another Chinaman but supports the confederate states flag and uniform. Xin Fu announces: "Our next contestant Confederate Meil!" The crowd booed him, especially Mabel. Meil says to the people: "Please, to rise for Dixie National anthem. I wish I was in the land of cotton…" In the middle of the song, the people began to throw rotten fruits and vegetables, Mabel yells as she throws a tomato: "Boo, go back to the confederacy!" She hits him in the head. Just when, they stop the Bolder lifts the Chinese Confederate man over his, and spines him around. Meil begs: "Wait! No please!" The Bolder throws him like a rag doll out of the ring landing on a trash-can.
The fighting continues with each new contestant, one a mask Luchador, the next was a war painted fighter, and a man with glasses. Each was defeated by the Bolder, and each was more painful and humiliating than the last.
In the final round, Xin Fu announces: "Now for the moment you've all been waiting for. Our reigning champion, the Blind Bandit!" The crowd cheers for their champion.
The Blind Bandit was a young Chinese girl, of 12 years age wearing Green robes and supporting the championship belt. Dipper questions: "Th-That's just a stage name right? She can't really be blind. Can she?" San can feel it, that she's actually blind and answers Dipper's question: "I think she is." Mabel says with confection: "I'm so conflicted. While I do support the Bolder, but a girl like her, I have to admit I'm hoping she wins." She felt torn between the muscular man and the blind young girl who could have super human senses.
The Bolder speaks his mind: "The Bolder is conflicted about fighting a young, blind girl." The girl replies with mockery in her voice: "What's the matter Bolder, you scared?" The muscular fighter no longer feeling conflicted and replies: "The Bolder is no longer restricted by guilt. And I'm about to introduce you into a world of hurt." The girl says: "Whatever you say the Pebble." She then laughs.
The Bolder makes his move, he charges forward as the Blind Bandit stood her ground, she waited for the right moment, on his last stomp, she felt the vibrations, as he's about to drop his right foot on the group, but the Blind Bandit, swiftly sweep-kicks his foot causing him to slip sideways creating a split between his legs.
The Bolder was in pain after being fordably split. The Blind Bandit punches him out of the ring with the force of a grizzly bear. Xin Fu announces to the crowd: "Still undefeated!" The crowd was shocked including the members of the Magnificent 10, Mabel yells: "You are awesome Blind Bandit!"
After the fight the crowd disburse, the M10 members waited by the alley for a while per of Mabel's requests. San questions: "Tell me again, why are we waiting?" Dipper answers: "Because my sister wants to meet the Blind Bandit." Mabel impatiently waiting for the Blind Bandit, as the crowd ends, the young blind girl, steps out as the last person, Mabel says to the girl: "Hello, I'm…" The blind girl interrupts: "Don't care. Bye." As she leaves by herself, Dipper says regarding the Blind Bandit's attitude: "Well that was rude. I get she's a back ally champion and all." Ashitaka agrees with Dipper: "Maybe she's not much into talking to other people." Mabel disagrees with both her friend and brother: "I'm sure she's not s bad person. Maybe if we talked to her she might open up." San says to Mabel: "You mean you talk to her. We're going home." The young optimistic girl follows the Blind Bandit while her friends head back to the Loud House.
The young Blind girl still continues to walk through China town heading home, Mabel sneakily follows her from behind, but doesn't make any sound.
The blind girl stops, sighs and says: "I know you're following me. And it's creepy." Mabel was shocked and confused still and comes out of hiding and says: "How did you know? I was a quit as a mouse." The Blind Bandit answers: "You see, I have the ability to sense vibration. I walk barefooted and feels the vibrations in the ground."
Mabel replies to the blind girl's ability: "Wow! That's amazing, that's like an actual super power." The girl receives the complement and says: "Thanks." Mabel reintroduce herself: "I'm Mabel Pines, a member of the Magnificent 10." The Blind Bandit says: "The Magnificent 10? I've heard a out you guys. You know you're all crazy right?" Mabel replies: "We've been called worse. What's your name?" The blind girl answers: "I'm Toph. Toph Befong." The two walked together down the street, as they continued to talk, Mabel says: "I'm not judging or anything. But why are you doing in back ally fight?"
Toph answers: "You see I'm a member of a rich family. But I was born blind, but I wasn't as helpless as my parents believed I was." Mabel questions: "Why do you wanna be a rebel?" The blind girl tells the energetic girl why: "You see, despite my parents giving me everything I wanted, they never gave me what I needed. Their love." Mabel teared up a bit. "I've ran away a few times. One time when I was a little I ran in a cave, there I was founded by moles. They were blind like me so we understood each other. I moved like they did, they felt the world around them. So I copied what they did. And in doing so I heightened my senses." Mabel says about Toph's origin story: "Wow. The Blind Bandit stops walking, as does the highly energetic girl, she answers the question: "Believe me. I wanted to tell them. Many times I wanted tell them. But I couldn't break their hearts." Mabel reassures Toph: "Look Toph, you're their daughter, they'll love you for who you are. And I feel you have a choice, you can either be the girl they see and be unhappy. Or reveal who you truly are. So that way you can go out and…" Toph raises her left eyebrow of what word Mabel will say…"Feel the world! Get to know exotic cultures, try new foods, meet new people. Seek your destiny."
Toph replies to Mabel's advice: "It must be nice. You and your friends. Going around the world. Sounds like the life. Just not my life." Toph teared up, Mabel feeling sad for her, the two continued till they reach Toph's home. A large mansion with a wall surrounding it and on the gate is a pig with wings. Just before Toph can open the door, Mabel puts her hand on Toph's shoulder and says: "Toph, I know it's heart breaking. But take it from me, I've had broken ups with a few boyfriends. But even if I got my heart broken, I get back up on the horse. And if you don't get to live your life, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Goodbye Toph." With those words Mabel leaves Toph to return home, Toph with tears running down her cheeks, she opens the gate and really takes Mabel's words to heart.
As she enters the grounds the Befong personal bodyguards comes rushing to Toph's side. Bodyguard 1: "Ms. Befong are you alright?" Toph replies: "Yes…" She stops herself and rephrase her what she said. "Actually no. I need to see my parents now." The Bodyguard says: "Yes ma'am." The bodyguard lead Toph to the mansion has he's order.
Later that night, the Magnificent 10, and the Loud family are having dinner. San asks Mabel: "So how was the Blind Bandit?" Mabel not eating her food and answers: "Toph." The former feral woman questions: "What?" The female twin answers: "Her real name's Toph. And she's more complicated." She was quiet in her tone but people still heard her.
Everyone over hearing Mabel, Lincoln asks: "How so?" Lynn SR adds: "Yeah what's eating her?" Mabel answers: "You see she comes from a rich family but she's miserable." Lola questions: "Why? I'm mean she's rich, she can have whatever she wants." Some of the group mutters in agreement. Mabel quickly states: "She doesn't have love. Especially her parents' love." Everyone inhales sharply after hearing that. "And despite her being a back ally street fighter, she never told them the truth or how she felt for fearing to break their hearts. But I told her if she doesn't live her life she'll regret it forever." The group mutters again in agreement, especially Lucy who says poetically out loud: "Truly sad and ironic. Ye who has it all has less than nothing."
Then a knock on the door is made, Lynn SR says: "I'll go and get it." He gets up from his chair and walks to the front door.
Lynn Loud SR opens the door he sees three men who looks like the Befong bodyguards. Bodyguard 2 says: "Sir, we're looking for a Ms. Mabel Pines." The eldest member of the Loud family yells: "Mabel, it's for you!" In a distance she replies: "On my way!" Lynn SR turns to the three men and says: "She's coming." Mabel reaches the door and asks: "Who's asking for me?" The Loud Father presents the three bodyguards. Bodyguard 2: "Ms. Pines, we require you attention." Mabel doesn't argue but follows all the way back to Toph's home.
After being brought into the Befong house and sees Toph and with her, her parents. Mr. Befong was a tradition Chinese robe man with a long mustache, next to him was his wife Mrs. Befong, she too wore Traditional Chinese theme robe. Mabel sat next to Toph who's wearing an all vanilla white Chinese robe. Mabel greets her new friend: "Hey Toph. So why am I here?" Mr. Befong answers the question: "I will answer that, Ms. Pine our daughter told us about you. And that you've filled her head with delusions of the outside world. My daughter is frail, weak and fragile. How can you understand her?" Mabel shocked by Mr. Befong's words and replies angrily: "What?! I never gave her delusions and…" Toph puts her hand on Mabel's shoulder and says: "No Mabel, I should be the one to tell them." Mabel sits down calming her anger. "Mom, dad. I know you both love me. But I'm not the helpless lil blind girl you think I am. I need to tell you the truth which I've been wanting to tell you, but I thought you never love me as I am. I'm a back ally street fighter. And I love fighting and I'm really good at it. I kept this secret from you both because I didn't want to hurt you. But I'm 12 years old and I never had a real friend up until now. Mabel told me I need to go out and 'feel' the world. I need to find my place and destiny in it." She finally spoke her heart and feeling towards her parents, Mabel even teared up, one guard even rubbed his eye feeling the feelings too.
The parents took their daughter's words in. "I hope you both can see understand what I'm feeling. And I hope this doesn't change anything between us." Mr. Befong says in an understanding tone: "Of corse not. In fact it made me realize something." Toph questions thinking she's got through them: "It has?" Mabel smiled, Mr. Befong says and his tone changes: "Yes it has. I've let you have far too much freedom. From now on you will be cared for and guarded 24 hours a day." Toph protests: "But dad!" Mabel also shocked by this news says: "Wow, didn't see that coming." Mrs. Befong says to her daughter: "We're doing this for your own good." Mabel stands up and angrily yells: "ARE YOU BOTH THIS THICK SKULLED?! YOUR DAUGHTER GAVE YOU HER HEART AND SOUL AND THE PAIN SHE'S FEELING AND YOU WEREN'T LISTENING?! SHE'S SAID SHE NEVER HAD A FREIND, AND WANTS TO SEE THE WORLD AND YOU WANT TO LOCK HER AWAY STILL?!" She quickly breaths in and out of her anger.
Mr. Befong tells his guards: "Please escort Ms. Pines off the premises. She's no longer welcome." The two bodyguards escort Mabel. Mabel says to Toph: "I'm sorry Toph. And I kinda hope it would go a different rout than what he said." Toph with tears running down her cheeks and says: "I'm sorry too. And for whatever it's worth, you were truly my first friend."
Outside of the estate gate Mabel stood there still angry even punches the gate in frustration. As she walks away the door opens, Mabel turns around to see Toph leaving the estate along with a bag. Mabel questions: "Toph, what are you doing?" Toph answers: "My dad changed his mind. The speeches we made, really took it to heart. He said I can go out and see the world. And it's ok if live with you." Mabel with a smile wraps her arm on Toph's shoulder, and says: "I guess I got a new roommate." Toph replies also wrapping her arm on Mabel's shoulder and replies with a smile: "You bet your eyes you do." The two set out to return to the Loud House.
