Here we go with chapter 17 (Chapter 94) of season two. I hope everyone is doing all right and everything is okay where you guys are at. Thanks again for the reviews from the last chapter. I appreciate it guys and glad you're all enjoying this.
I want to first apologize guys. I had this chapter ready, but then as I was reading over it, I realized something…I didn't like it. So, I ended up redoing it and make some changes to it. I didn't feel comfortable uploading something I felt wasn't good, so I needed to make some changes to it.
I apologize again guys. I wanted to keep my promise last week, but I also wanted to give you guys something that I felt happy to share. So, I decided to wait. Wait till I fixed this and made the change.
Now? I'm happy with this and hope you all will like it. Even though I'm sure you already know how it's going to go. At least, with who the sixth knight will be.
But anyways, let's just recap what happened last time. Okay, so Zane was kicking ass, until the beetle monster pulled out a weapon that de-powered Zane. Not exactly a good thing for him, especially since it means he has to fight the monster on his own. Without his Gold Zeo powers.
For the others? They were doing well in their mission. Maybe enough for them to finish things with their monster and head back to help Zane? Will they make it on time or will someone else come in to make the save?

The Sixth Knight Part VI
Teth
Gabriella, Nathan, and Alpha watched as Zane fought against the beetle monster, Kabuto. So far? The fight was going Zane's way. He was clearly too strong for the monster and it wouldn't be long till he wins this.
That was, until the monster used some sort of device to not only de-power Zane, but it seems to be preventing him from using his Gold Zeo powers. This soon turned the tide of the fight and now Zane was on the defense. Trying to overcome this monster, which was too strong for him to defeat.
"This isn't good," said Alpha knowing how bad this is. "Even without his Gold Zeo powers, Zane is still strong, but not against this monster."
"I agree," said Gabriella who knew this wasn't looking good. "And that device, whatever General Arachnia made, it worked."
"But how did General Arachnia do it?" Nathan asked who was shocked that such a device could be made. "How is it she could create something that could short out our powers like this?"
"That's a good question," Gabriella knew there was no way General Arachnia should possess such a dangerous piece of tech. Mostly because if she could create one like this, then Damien should have done the same thing.
Alpha though had an idea of how the evil spider might have been able to pull this off. "Long ago, Zane and Damien had made a power disrupter to help neutralize a Power Ranger's power if they ever went rogue. They did this by first targeting the energy signature each energy the Power Rangers use when they morph, then blast them with it. The effects would last an hour, which was plenty of time to help them incapacitate the rogue Ranger. But both of them didn't want the blueprints for this to fall into the wrong hands, so they took steps."
Alpha explains that they both had their memories erased and locked the invention away somewhere that neither one knew where it was.
"And we're sure Damien had his memory erased? He didn't try sharing this with one of his allies?" Nathan asked who didn't trust Damien and that he would have his memory erased of something that would be useful in his war. "And hold on a second. Why would any Ranger go rogue? From what you all told us, any Ranger that was being manipulated, always turned good in the end."
Gabriella and Alpha turn to one another both knowing why both men did what they did. But decided now was not the time to tell them about it.
"Let's focus on right now," said Gabriella as she looks back at the fight through the Viewing Globe. "We'll need to contact the others. To make sure they don't fall for the same trap."
"What about Zane? Aren't you worried about him?" Nathan asked who wonders why Gabriella isn't worried for her brother.
"Don't worry about him. I'll go down there myself and help him out. Even if I don't use any Morphers, it doesn't mean I can't help him out," and with her powers combined with Zane, they'll be able to win.
"Wait. That's a bad idea," said Alpha as he explains why she shouldn't go. "General Arachnia doesn't know you're here. If you go out there to fight, then she'll know you're here and try to track you down to find out where you came from."
Nathan knew what Alpha said was very much true. "He's right. We know General Arachnia is doing all she can to try to find where Zane's base is at. There's no doubt she'll do the same to you. Maybe even reveal herself to help even the odds with her beast."
Gabriella was fully aware of this. She knows how strong General Arachnia is, while also aware how she will try to find out where her home is at. She knows that crafty evil spider will do whatever it takes to try taking them out. Even if it means destroying their home and hurting her people.
"I can't just sit by and let Zane get hurt. I'll take the risk," Gabriella knows it's a risk she's willing to take to save her brother.
"But it's one Zane won't let you do," said Alpha who knows that Zane won't allow his sister to endanger herself or their people. "Gabriella, Zane knows you'll do anything for him. Even risk yourself for his own safety. But after the war…he didn't want to lose you too, like your brother. He doesn't want to lose you too."
Nathan was shocked to hear what Alpha just confessed. Lost their brother? Did he mean the…he was dead? Nathan looks over to Gabriella, to see her expression changing to a mix of anger and sadness.
Gabriella begins to respond but was clearly trying to control her tone to keep herself composed. "He should not burden himself for what happened to Ali. He did what he thought was right and we would follow him to the end, no matter what."
"I know, but he still feels guilt for what happened and doesn't want to risk losing you too," said Alpha who knows how Zane blamed himself for the war between him and Damien breaking out.
Even blaming himself for how many of their friends got hurt in the fighting.
Nathan may not have siblings, but he did understand the feeling of wanting to protect those he loves from risking their safety for his own. So, he can understand why Zane wants to keep his sister safe.
Gabriella took a deep breath and then exhales, before she rubs between her eyes. "Fine. But we need to figure out a way to help my brother. Maybe we can contact the others to help him out."
Alpha goes over to the computer panel and begins checking the progress of the others. "They're still fighting on Teth. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan might be able to help, but their powers haven't been upgraded. So, not sure how long they can last against the monster."
Nathan though knew there's only one way they can help him. "No. I'll go down there and help Zane. The others have to focus on their mission and Obi-Wan is too busy hunting down Grievous. I'll go there and help Zane out. I'll go get the morpher and go Green Ranger one more time."
Just as Nathan was about to leave, Gabriella placed her hand on his shoulder to stop him. "Hold on a second. Nathan, I told you before that since I helped release the full power of the Dragon Coin, it will be too dangerous for you to use it. Its power will be too much for your already weary body to handle. If you try using it, you won't last even a minute with it."
"Gabriella is right, Nathan," said Alpha who agrees with his friend and knows its too dangerous for Nathan to try this. "You can't risk it. We need to try coming up with a better plan."
"Well, what other choice do we have?" Nathan asked before he frees his shoulder from Gabriella. "I can't sit by and watch my friend get killed. Are you going to use the power then?"
"No. I swore to myself I wouldn't use another Morpher since…" Gabriella stops before she reveals why she won't use its power. "Look. I know you want to help Zane but using this power would be too much for your body to handle. If you use it, you'll die. And we both know you don't want that to happen, especially to your family."
Nathan sighed under his breath, while a little angry with what she said. He wants to help his friend, but he knows he can't do this to his family. He can't get himself killed and leave them heartbroken. He can't do that to them.
"Then what are we going to do?" Nathan asked wondering what else can they do.
Alpha walks over and placed his hand on Gabriella's hand, before he looks up at her. "Gabriella, is it possible one of the others from back home could use its power and help fight against this monster?"
Gabriella knew only one might be able to handle this power, but assuming she'll say yes. "I might know someone. In the meantime, go get the Morpher, while I make a call."
Alpha nods and begins heading off as fast as possible to get the Morpher. While noticing the door was cracked open. He ignored it and took off. All while Gabriella begins getting ready to contact the others but stops and turns to Nathan.
"Nathan, I know you want to help Zane. I know you want to go down there and fight that monster as much as I want to. But we both are in no position to do so. As you said, if I go down there, then that spider witch will try to track down my home and harm my people," and even harm other worlds that exist in the Unknown Regions.
"Just like if I go down there, I'd only end up getting hurt," said Nathan who understands why Gabriella brought it up and knows it's too risky. "And even if I do end up surviving, Alexis would likely be the end of me."
Gabriella chuckled softly and gives a small nod. "I don't know much about your wife, but she sounds like an amazing woman. You are lucky to have her, but you need to use this time you have now to cherish it with her. Spend your time with her as much as possible. And let the next generation take over, okay?"
Nathan knows she's right. He just has to accept that and knows he'll have to step away from the fighting, for now at least. "I just hope whoever you got to take the power will be able to use it well. Zane is going to need all the help he can get for this."
"Don't worry. She'll be able to—" Gabriella stops when she saw Alpha running back into the room, panicking. "Whoa, whoa, Alpha, what's wrong? Where's the Morpher?"
"Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi! The Morpher is gone!" Alpha replied while trying to calm himself down but was hard to do that with what happened.
"What?!" Nathan and Gabriella said in unision.
"What do you mean? Was it stolen? How? Who stole it?" Nathan asked, while shocked with what they were told.
"That's impossible. No one should have been able to break in here without us knowing about it," said Gabriella who doubts someone could break through the security defenses her brother has.
Alpha, however, wasn't done just yet. "That's not the only thing I found. Serenity she's…"
Meanwhile, outside of the Command Center, two small Ewoks are seen on a log, eating some food. Both enjoying the peace and quiet in the forest. No signs of any trouble and no one trying to harm them. Both enjoying their time together, when they heard a loud "WHAT?!" echoing behind them, which caused them both to fall off the log, in shock.
Teth
The Battle Droids see the enemy forces beginning to climb up the mountain. With their shield generator down, they tried to take down the enemy forces before they could make the climb, but those Power Rangers got involved. Preventing them from firing their weapons at the Walkers. And with them climbing up the mountain, they were out of range of the turrets.
So, the Droid army begin pulling their forces back, knowing that the Republic will be up the mountain soon. Heading towards the monastery and working to try taking it back. So, the enemy begin pulling their turrets back. Preparing to fire on the enemy when they make it over the ledge.
The Battle Droids prepare to fire, with commander Droid being told the enemy are nearly here. "All right. Once you've got a clear shot, take down the Republic forces," they could hear the enemy getting closer and closer over the ledge. "Ready…aim…"
Suddenly a loud explosion erupted behind them. The Droid Army look over to see more Clone soldiers emerging and begin opening fire. Ahsoka Tano appeared and ignites her lightsabers. Deflecting the blasters from the enemy, while rushing forward and taking down the Droids close by.
"Turn the turrets around and fire on the Jedi!" the commander Droid ordered as the Droids begin to turn the turrets. "Ready? Aim…AHHHHHH!" Suddenly the Droid was flown off the ground and over the ledge.
The Droid army look over to see the Republic forces that were climbing up the mountain have appeared. With Barriss Offee, standing on top of one of the Walkers, was seen as the one that send the Droid commander flying. Soon, her Walkers took down the turrets and kept them from being used on both armies.
Barriss's Clone army begin joining their brothers and attacked the enemy. Opening fire on the enemy and begin shooting them down. Now, both the Republic forces were attacking the Droid army from both sides. Cutting them off completely.
It didn't take long for the Droid army to be taken down completely. With the last Battle Droid soon destroyed, the Clone army let out a loud celebration cheer. They not only took back the monastery but have defeated the Droid army. The two armies begin celebrating their win, but both Ahsoka and Barriss know it's not over yet.
"Captain Rex, please take a few of your men and begin taking a look around the monastery. Let's make sure the enemy didn't leave a few nasty surprises for us," said Ahsoka knowing they have to ensure they have secured the area.
"Yes sir," said Captain Rex as he took some of his men with him down below.
"Commander Gree, please go with them too. Just in case they need any backup," said Barriss as she gave her Clone commander his orders too.
"Of course, general," said Commander Gree as he motions for some of his men to join him.
"The rest of you, let's secure the area and once we're sure the area is secured, then we can celebrate," said Ahsoka as she got cheers from her men, knowing they have to ensure the job is completely done. Once they took off, Ahsoka turns to Barriss. "And in the meantime, we'll go to a private room to contact the Council. While the Power Rangers take care of that monster."
Barriss knew what Ahsoka was doing and gave a small nod. She couldn't leave due to the fighting, but now that this was done, she has an excuse to keep the Clones from suspecting where she's at. The two begin heading inside, before they head to a secured room and Barriss begins to teleport away. Heading off to fight with the others, while Ahsoka contacts the Council.
She just hopes that Jake is okay, and things are wrapping up soon.
Meanwhile
On the other side of the monastery, Ka the mosquito monster is seen being shot towards the ground. Hitting it hard enough to create a small crater and caused some of the trees to break apart. The monster begins to slowly get up as it growls in anger. It couldn't believe this was happening.
How is it this one Power Ranger was beating him? He should be overpowering this brat without any problems. He looks up to see his foe hovering in the air. His wings keeping him in the air and looks like he's waiting for him to fly up at him.
The monster begins to get up and extends his claws. "You little brat! You won't get away with this, you hear me?! I will not fail my mistress! I will destroy you and I will win!"
The monster's hand begins to glow and soon he fires a dark red energy blast at his foe. Jake moves out of the way to avoid it, but the monster used this chance to fly up towards the Red Ranger. Roaring loudly before thrusting its sharp needle nose towards his foe. Jake though sees the attack coming, so he summons a shield and blocks it.
The weapon didn't pierce through the shield, which surprised Ka. Jake leaps over and kicks the monster right across the back of his head. Sending him back towards the ground. Ka though managed to stop himself from hitting the ground with his wings but winced when he felt the sharp pain on his head pulsing.
"Damn it!" said Ka who couldn't believe this. "This shouldn't be happening. Even with this power upgrade you've been given, you shouldn't be able to harm me like this! Its not possible! I know I got more power after I—"
"After you consumed the blood of your victims, right?" Jake asked, which got a surprised reaction from the monster. "I noticed that tube on your back, which has what appears to be blood. I assume you use that to help increase your strength. That's why you spend the majority of this time trying to pierce your little needle in me. Hoping to drain me of my blood, right?"
Ka shouldn't be too surprised that the Red Ranger figured this out. Its not like the monster was hiding the tube anyways. "I don't just drink their blood, I drink everything. My needle injects a powerful enzyme that melts down their insides and allows me to suck them dry. Until nothing is left of them. Nothing but empty husks."
"Gross," said Jake who wish he didn't get to hear the full details. "Still, it seems the energy you consumed wasn't enough. And it looks like you're running on empty."
Ka knew he was right. He was running low on power and needed to consume more. Luckily for him, he knew where to get more blood. But he'll need to keep the Red Ranger busy.
"Well, good thing for me is I know where I can get more power. But in the meantime," Ka pressed a button on his wrist gauntlet, and soon dozens of flying insect robots begin flying towards him.
Jake begins using his wings to help maneuver around the robots. Trying to take them down and making sure they can't around him. He even begins slashing through them and uses his wings to destroy a few of them. But he couldn't play around with these robots.
He has to try finishing them off soon, before Ka can consume more blood. Luckily, there were some Rancor nearby. The monster sees them and managed to tackle one down to the ground. The monster pierced its skin with its needle and begins to drain the Rancor. The creature was paralyzed from what the needle injected as the other Rancor begin to take off.
Ka managed to drink up much of its body and soon felt his strength return. He could go after the other Rancor, but sees the Red Ranger finishing off the robots with ease. Much faster than he had anticipated. He looks over and decides to use this chance to kill him, while he's distracted.
The monster however, decided to instead go big and kill him before he has a chance to get a lucky shot on him. The monster soon grows big and roars loudly. Jake finished the last of the robots and sees the monster has grown big. The monster prepares to finish off the Red Ranger fast, before he has a chance to summon his Zord.
"Say goodbye, Red Ranger!" said Ka as he moves his foot up and prepares to crush his foe, when he got blasted from behind.
Ka let's out a loud yell as he felt his energy draining from him. He looks around confused at what happened when he noticed his tube has been destroyed. It was blasted from behind by the Pink Ranger in her Zord, which has transformed into its Knight form. But she wasn't alone.
Standing with her was the Blue, Black, and Yellow Knight Zords.
"Sorry for being late. Hope we didn't keep you waiting," said Rachel who's glad they made it in time.
"Just glad to see you guys are here," said Jake who's relieved that his friends are here to help him out. "You guys need a hand, or you got this?"
Rick begins to twirl his weapon as his Zord does what he's doing. "I think we've got this. Don't worry about it."
Ka could feel his energy drained from his tube being destroyed. The essence he had drained from the Rancor was gone and now he has to content with the four other Power Rangers.
"No! I will not lose to you all! I will destroy you in the name of my mistress! For Empress Arachnia!" Ka begins to charge at the Power Rangers, preparing to finish them off.
Rick and Lux rush their Zords over, with their weapons in hand. Both Zords slide under the monster's arms and slashed his side with their weapons. Ka yells in pain but didn't stop his charge. Barriss rushes over with her Zords two swords out and leaps over, slashing the needle nose off. This caused Ka to yell out in even more pain as the monster's main weapon is now gone.
Rachel soon has her Zord take aim with the bow and aims it. She begins eyeing where she wants her weapon to hit and soon fires. The arrow is supercharged by Rachel's Zord and flies towards its target. Hitting the monster right in the head, piercing through the head.
Ka soon stops yelling in pain and instead lets out a small groan, before he fell to his knees. The glow in his eyes soon disappeared, which caused the monster to fall over and explode. Leaving nothing behind, but a large smoke. The Power Rangers cheered in their success in killing yet another one of General Arachnia's monsters.
"We did it! Woo-hoo!" said Rick who was happy that they won.
"That was pretty cool, and we didn't even need to merge our Zords for this," said Lux who was surprised at how they were able to win this fight.
"Just glad we made it time to help, Jake. By the way, are you all right?" Barriss asked as she tries contacting Jake.
"I'm fine," Jake replied as he flew down to the platform on the side of the mountain. "That thing had me there for a second, but thanks for the help guys. And nice shot, Rachel."
"Well, I have been practicing with my Zord for this," said Rachel who's glad her practice had paid off. "Anyways, looks like we succeeded in taking down another one of General Arachnia's monsters. I wonder if Zane and the others are almost done with their mission."
"We should contact them and find out," said Rick as he begins contacting Alpha. "Hey Alpha, we got the job down. How's the others…" Rick stops when he hears Alpha panicking a little. "Woah, woah there buddy, take it easy. What's up?"
Rick begins pulling the others in the conversation, wondering what's gotten Alpha panicking like this. Once Alpha explained what happened, everyone's eyes widen in shock, and all shouted in unison. "WHAT?!"
Tatooine
Master Windu and his forces head towards the Separatist Droid factory, which had begun unleashing their defenses. Luckily for them, they were able to get the blast away some of the early waves, so allow the Gunships to land nearby and allow their troops to get some cover. Master Windu ignites his lightsaber and begins deflecting the blasters of the enemy.
While the Tusken Raiders and the Clone soldiers all open fire from their cover. The Droid army soon begin sending out more of their heavier-hitting troops and begin trying to take out their enemies. Master Windu sees this and begins ordering their pilots to take them down. Giving them cover, while they charge in.
The Republic starfighters fly down towards the base, while trying to avoid the turrets that are firing at them. Three of the ships got taken down, but the rest managed to drop their bombs on the enemy forces. Even take out a few turrets and damage the building. This allowed the Gunships to take off and fire their missiles as well to help provide more cover.
Master Windu saw his chance and used the Force to knock away some of the droids near his soldiers. Before using the Force once more to crush the ones in his path. He soon charges in and slashes through the droids in his path. Taking them down, while the cloud of smoke from the bombs were still in the air.
Master Windu gets his lightsaber blasted away, but he didn't let this stop him. He leaps over the enemy and begins punching through the bodies of the droids. Despite their strong metal armor, he was able to punch through them, like they were nothing. Master Windu sees some Dwarf Spider Droids opening fire at him.
Master Windu uses his incredible speed to dodge the attacks before he uses the Force to lift up the droids. He then crushed them before the enemy tanks appeared. Master Windu tosses the destroyed droids towards the tanks, which allowed his men and the Tusken Raiders to fire missiles at the tanks. Destroying them before they had a chance to open fire.
Master Windu looks over to see the enemy trying to close the door and keep it the enemy from getting through. Master Windu stops this though by using the Force to keep the doors from closing. He orders his men to soon move in with the Tusken Raiders inside the facility. His troops soon made their way inside the facility and begin firing at the enemy, who were trying to regroup.
Master Windu managed to damage the doors and keep it from closing down on him. He soon sees his forces pushing the enemy back, but he knows they have to take out the whole facility soon. So, he begins using the Force once more, but this time to rip the doors off and slowly move lift them. Some of Master Windu's soldiers and even some Tusken Raiders rush over the Jedi Master when they saw some enemy forces from above trying to shoot him down.
The Clones activated the energy shields that they were given by their allies, before the Tusken Raiders opened fire. Taking down the enemy from above, while Master Windu used this chance to finish what he's doing. He soon tosses the door towards the machines that were making the droids. Destroying many of them and causing large explosions around the factory.
This ended up taking out much of the enemy forces that were near the machines. This gave Master Windu's forces the opening they needed and soon charged right in. Taking down the remaining enemy forces, while Master Windu used this chance to rest. He had to use a lot of energy to make that attack work, so he needed to catch his breath.
One of the Tusken Raiders kneels next to him and offers him a black melon. It's a type of melon that is grown in the Jundland Wastes of the desert. It contains a type of milk, which is safe to drink. Its not the best taste, but on Tatooine, its an alternative if there's no water.
Master Windu took it, cracked it open, and soon a sip. Not the worst thing he's tasted, but it did help. "Thank you," he thanked the Tusken Raider before he turns to his soldiers. "Men, begin securing the area. I also want a sweep of the area to find any prisoners they might have locked up in here."
"Yes sir," said the Clones as they had the Tusken Raiders follow them to help in the search for any prisoners.
In the meantime, Master Windu turns to across the long desert field and from a distance can hear the fighting going on at Jabba's Palace. "Master Kenobi," said Master Windu through his com-link. "We have begun securing the factory. Any progress on your end?"
"Heavy resistance, but nothing we can't handle," Master Kenobi replied as blaster shots can be heard through the communicator. "I have Kitster and Wald go with Commander Cody to the lower levels of the palace. To see if there's any prisoners locked up, while I'm pushing through their defenses in the upper levels."
"Any signs of General Grievous?" Master Windu asked, knowing that their reports indicated the cyborg general is here.
"No signs of him yet. This is strange. He should be here somewhere. It's not like him to not show his face to try fighting us," said Master Kenobi who didn't like this at all.
Master Windu had a bad feeling about this as well and knows Obi-Wan's history with General Grievous. The two have fought before and he knows Grievous wouldn't hesitate to fight him. Not unless maybe Count Dooku had him retreat? There weren't any signs of any ship escaping from the palace, so he must be there.
"Keep me posted on anything you find. Any word on our friend?" Master Windu asked referring to Zane.
"Nothing yet. But I'm sure he's making short work of the monster," said Master Kenobi who has no doubt that Zane won't take too long against the monster he's fighting.
"Let's hope so," said Master Windu before he hears his men calling for him. "Finish securing the palace and I'll contact you in ten minutes."
Master Windu soon took off to see what his men found, while he hopes Master Kenobi finds the cyborg general. So, they can help end this war sooner than later.
Meanwhile
Master Kenobi knows that finding General Grievous wasn't going to be easy, especially with how big this palace is and how he's sure they had time to set up some secret rooms. Perhaps the others have better luck in the lower levels.
He knows that General Grievous is somewhere around here. He wouldn't pass up the opportunity to add his lightsaber to the long collection the cyborg general has been making. Adding lightsabers of fallen Jedi he has fought against. Whether they were Jedi Padawans, Knights, or even Masters. All were the same for him.
To Grievous, this was all a game for him. One that he will do whatever it takes to win. Even if it's through dishonorable ways. So, why hasn't he revealed himself?
"General Kenobi," Obi-Wan looks over to see Commander Cody walking over to him. "We finished taking down the last of the enemy forces down below."
"Excellent work, Cody," said Obi-Wan as he deflects a blaster shot from a nearby droid and uses the Force to crush it. "Where's Kitster and Wald?"
"Down below, sir. You may want to see what we found," said Commander Cody as he takes the general down to the lower levels to show what they discovered. "We managed to find some of the prisoners, but the rest were executed. We also found what appeared to be large tunnels that appeared to have been made days ago."
Master Kenobi looks to see the two large tunnels and knew this isn't good at all. Commander Cody shows a hologram that they found, to show where the tunnels connect to.
"One appears to head to the factory, which explains how they're able to send their forces here and back. The other appears to head to a secret landing platform, which connected to an empty Sarlacc Pit," Commander Cody explains, which the pit to be bigger than normal pits.
"That's impossible. There's no such thing as an empty Sarlacc Pit," said Kitster who didn't believe what the Clone commander said.
"Not unless you have some Krayt Dragons to help eat the Sarlacc," although, Obi-Wan believes that General Arachnia's monster had a hand in this.
These tunnels must have been built when they took over the planet. He doubts Damien would have had this made. There were no reports of his presence on the planet after the Rangers defeated his monster. Zane scanned the area and found no trace of his enemy on the planet.
So, this must have been made once he was gone. Still, he knew if these were before their arrival, then he knew one thing for sure.
"Regardless, we should head down this path and get to General Grievous. He couldn't have been gone for long," and Obi-Wan knows if they hurry, they might be able to capture him.
"I wouldn't bother," said Kitster as he explains what the prisoners told him. "One of the prisoners told me that General Grievous passed by here before the battle. In fact, he had given his orders to have his droids hold the area after he spoke to the monster that Zane is fighting."
Obi-Wan was confused on why Grievous chose to leave General Arachnia's monster to fight them alone. Was he under orders by Count Dooku to retreat? Did he have something with them that was important for them to get it out before they arrived? Or was it something else.
"What do you want to do, general? Do we go down the tunnels or leave them?" Commander Cody asked knowing it's up to the general what they should do.
"I still think we should head down to the tunnels and see where he went. Just in case we might find some sort of clue on why he ran away from the fight," said Obi-Wan who didn't want to take any chances of them finding valuable. "Who knows? We might even find Grievous still here before he can escape."
Obi-Wan knew that if Grievous was still here, then they should try to capture him. "Cody, contact the fleet. Make sure they prevent any ship from escaping the planet. I don't want Grievous to try to escape from here."
Unfortunately, before they have a chance to move out, they hear something heading their way. They look over at the tunnels that came from the one leading to the droid factory and see what appears to be an army of droids heading for them.
"Fall back! Now!" Obi-Wan ordered as he activates his lightsaber and tries to shield his men as they go to get the prisoners out. "Cody, fire some rockets at the tunnel and bring it down on them!"
"Yes sir!" Commander Cody along with a few Clones fired some rockets at the top of the first tunnel, causing it to come down, but unfortunately, most of the droids got through.
Now they were pushing the enemy back. Killing a few Clones and rebels as their enemies were falling back. Obi-Wan has Kitster and Cody get the others back to the upper levels. While he holds them off and has them get to safety.
Obi-Wan is just hoping Zane is wrapping things up with the monster, so he can come down here and offer them a hand. For now, though? He'll need hold off the enemy.
Or at the very least, try to keep them from retaking the palace.
He knows though this will mean General Grievous will escape for sure. He'll have to go after him another time. In the meantime, he begins leading his forces to high ground. While they figure out how they'll stop the Droid army.
Meanwhile
Zane leaps out of the way of an energy blast from the monster he was fighting. He has to admit, it's been too long since he fought a foe without his Gold Zeo powers. He just didn't expect it to do it again under these circumstances. Ones that involve his Gold Zeo powers dampened somehow.
Kabto, the beetle monster begins charging up his attack from his horn and fires an energy blast at his opponent. Zane managed to avoid the attack and charges at him. But the monster begins digging into the ground and disappears. Zane stops when he saw where his foe went and placed the bottom end of his staff on the ground.
He soon begins to close his eyes and tries to feel through the vibration where the monster is at. The vibrations around him were small but didn't feel like the monster was charging in at him. That was, until he feels the ground shaking and could feel where his foe will appear. Zane leaps up high in the air as the monster appeared, blasting an energy blast from under the ground.
Zane managed to avoid the attack and comes down before punching the monster right on its head. This caused it to stagger but allowed Zane a chance to grab the monster by the horn. He then used his strength to pull him out of the ground before he begins spinning him. Zane soon launched the monster towards the palace walls, denting the wall.
"I have to say. I'm a little surprised that General Arachnia was able to de-power me like this," said Zane as he stood up with his staff in hand. "Although, even without my morphing powers, I can still feel my other powers flowing through me. So, don't really feel myself in any danger, yet."
Kabuto begins to recover from the attack before he begins to laugh. "Our mistress was aware of this, but she's also aware of how strong you are without your powers. That's why she enhanced my body. Allowing me to take any attack you might hit me with and not get damaged. Meaning, you can hit me with all you have, and it won't even hurt."
"I see. Someone's been a busy spider," said Zane who had suspected this when he had hit him earlier and didn't seem to hurt him much. "Still, it doesn't mean this will work for all of her creations. The fact she had to depower me, shows that you can still be harmed by a power much greater than your own."
Like the Abomination. Its body was strong enough to take any attacks from the team before the upgrades. But once they got their upgrades, they were stronger than the monster. Strong enough to pierce through its body. General Arachnia knows this and that's why she did this to try weakening him.
"It doesn't matter," said Kabuto as he prepared to attack again. "Without your powers, you stand no chance against me!"
Kabuto soon charged at Zane again and extends its four arms as he tries to slash at his foe. Zane though rushes over and slides between the legs of the monster. He uses his staff to trip the monster forward and caused him to fall on the ground hard. Zane soon got up and jumps over before bringing his feet down on the back of the head of the monster.
Zane stood back as the monster used his arms to push himself off the ground. Zane though swings his weapon and hits the monster across the face. Before Zane hits him in the face with a roundhouse kick. The monster staggers back and Zane rushes over before he begins laying in on the monster's belly with his attacks.
Punching and kicking the monster repeatedly with fast, but hard attacks. The monster was completely caught off-guard by this as he felt all the hits. This shouldn't be happening. His body should be strong enough to be able to handle these attacks and yet it wasn't working.
Zane theorized that General Arachnia had enhanced the defenses of the monster, but along his back. Not his front, and sure enough he was right. He probably figured that she would never believe her creation would hide under his shell for protection. Never needing to attack head-on like this.
Zane kicks the monster back, before grabbing his staff, thrusts it forward, and fired an energy blast, which sends the monster flying across the ground towards the cliff. Zane fired another energy blast at the top, which caused the debris to fall down and crushed the monster.
Zane had to admit, this monster did give him a run for his money, but he knew it wouldn't last forever. "Just because you de-powered me, doesn't mean I was going down that easily. Maybe next time, your creator should come out and fight her own battles, instead of hiding in the shadows like the coward she is."
Zane begins to take off and try to contact the others to see if they can come by to give him a hand to finish the monster off. He figures his attack didn't kill it but did leave it incapacitated. Long enough for him to get the others down here to help him out. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to last long.
Despite how much rocks had fallen on the monster, Kabuto emerged from the debris, screaming loudly. Zane turns to his foe and got into a defensive position.
"We're not done yet! You hear me?! We're not done!" Kabuto charges up his attack and fires another energy blast from his horn.
Zane leaps out of the way and avoids the attacks. Zane even needed to deflect some of the attacks, since some of them nearly hit the entrance to Jabba's palace.
Kabuto soon stops his attack and begins to lean forward. The back of Kabuto begins to extend, showing its hard protective armor had wings underneath them. Zane took notice of this and didn't seem surprised. Mostly because he knew Earth had beetles like Kabuto who can fly.
Zane though is now worried that he's bringing them out. Since this means he'll have an aerial advantage. As long as he has his speed, he should be fine. There's no way someone with this size and body should be able to move that fast.
The monster soon flies over to Zane, who sees his speed has increased. Zane barely avoided the attack but got slashed by the monster's sharp claws.
Kabuto lands on a nearby rock and begins to laugh evilly with what he did. Zane used his staff to keep himself from falling to one knee. He could feel the pain from where he got cut. It wasn't too deep, but enough to make him feel some pain.
Damn. He didn't expect the monster to be this fast. It seems it was his own fault. He shouldn't have underestimated the monster like this.
"Where's all that overconfidence, Zane?" Kabuto asked while mocking his opponent. "Maybe now you'll think twice to ever insult me and my mistress!"
Kabuto extends his wings again and soon begins to fly back at his foe. Zane moves out of the way and barely avoids the attack again. He winced when he landed on his injured leg, but he had to fight through the pain. The monster flew back at him and once more, Zane barely dodged it.
At this rate, he knows he won't last long. He knows if he doesn't do something soon, this won't end well for him. He sees his foe flying back towards him and needed to find an opening. He knows he's going to get one shot at this in order to stop him and try to get the advantage again.
Zane leaps over his opponent and lands behind him on one leg. Kabuto stops himself and turns around, but due to his body's size, he wasn't able to turn around properly. Enough to avoid what was coming next. Zane began to concentrate some more power into his staff and fires it at his foe.
Sending him flying towards ground and crashes into a wall. This caused more rocks to come down on him. Crushing the monster and appears to have finished him off. Zane though knew better than to believe that.
Zane couldn't allow his guard to be let down again and needed to focus on what he was going to do now. He knows he has little time, so he needs to figure out what to do next. He looks down at his injury to see his left thigh is bleeding. He rips off some cloth from his sleeves and begins to tie it around his injury.
To try to stop the bleeding and help ease the pain.
Zane looks around now and tries to figure what to do next. He knows he can't afford to let this thing get in the air again, since he won't likely be able to keep dodging it forever.
If he takes cover somewhere, then he might have some advantage. His speed is relied on his flight and able to fly around without being in a tight area. So, fighting him in the palace would work. However, he didn't want to risk the lives of the soldiers.
So, he needed to find a different place to fight. He looks over at the terrain and realize maybe he can use it to his advantage. Maybe even lure his foe to a narrow area to keep him from flying. Allowing him to get the advantage over him.
"That might work," said Zane as he prepares to head off to the rocky area, when he saw movement from the rocks.
Soon enough, Kabuto emerged from the debris. Looking a little injured, but not enough to keep him down for good it seems. The monster begins wiping away the dirt and rocks from his shoulders. He begins cracking his neck and steps out of t he debris, looking ready to continue.
Kabuto turns to his foe and begins to laugh. "What's the matter, Zane? You had a chance to attack me while I was down, but you didn't. I guess you're starting to figure out nothing you do will stop me. It's over, give up!"
Despite the pain he's feeling, Zane refused to give in. "That's never going to happen. I will never give up. Not to you or your mistress. I will never give up to the likes of you."
Kabuto laughs once more and begins extending his claws. "Oh please! Give me a break. Look at you. You can barely stand, let alone have any power left that can actually do any harm towards me," Kabuto got ready to charge in, while he chuckles softly. "Face it. It's all over. You can't win against me. You will die here and so will your friends."
Zane begins to chuckle softly himself and begins to shake his head. "Your wrong, Kabuto. Even if anything does happen to me, my friends will never give up. They will never lose to the likes of you or General Arachnia. Not because of the power they have, but because of who they are."
Zane knows that the others despite being young, have proven time and time again that no matter what happens, they never gave up.
"Despite moments where everything seems hopeless, when things keep getting bad, and just when it seems like they should give in…they don't. They not only keep on fighting, but they always find a way to succeed. That's why, no matter what you do to me, I know they'll find a way to win. Because I believe in them and so does everyone else," Zane soon twirls his staff and got into a fighting stance.
"So, like hell I'm going to give up. I'm never going to give up and neither will my comrades. So, bring it on! And let's do this!" said Zane as he got ready to finish this fight.
Kabuto simply just laughs once more, before his expression turns to a serious one. "As you wish. It is death for you and your comrades, then."
The monster roared loudly and soon flies at him once more. Flying towards his opponent to finish him off. Zane stood ready. Not sure how he's going to make it out of this alive, but he will find a way to win and will never let this monster win.
Just before the monster got to Zane, the two saw something flying towards them. A bright glowing white energy flew by and hits the monster square in the face. Zane looked on shocked by this, as did the monster, Kabuto. The monster was sent flying towards the ground and appeared stunned by the attack.
Zane looks on surprised by this and wonders who it could be. Maybe Obi-Wan found a way to sneak around and join him? Or maybe Ahsoka finished her mission early and came to help out? He doubts its Gabriella, so who is it?
When the energy stopped, he was able to see who it is. When he did, he stood stunned and in shocked. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Or rather, he couldn't believe to see who it is.
The breath in his body soon left him and felt his eyes tearing up a little. His voice shaking a little as was his body when he saw who his savior is.
The figure appeared to be a young teenage girl, with long white hair, fair skin, and wearing a white long-sleeved dress. She turns towards the other with her eyes white as well, before she gave a small smile to Zane.
The young girl was none other than his daughter, Serenity. "Hello father. It's good to see you again."
That's the end and yep, it's finally time to bring in Zane's daughter, Serenity. I've been waiting a long time to bring her in, since I first introduced her. She's finally here and came in time to save her dad. Hopefully her first time in battle here will be welcomed by everyone.
Also, I will be working hard to make sure her background will be given more light for you all. So, you have a better understanding of who she is. I also hope you all will give her a chance. And try not to shit on her before you get to know her.
Also, no. She's not a Mary Sue. She's not going to be a little miss perfect. And by the next chapter, you'll see it.
It also looks like everyone is shocked with Serenity waking up and now off to help her dad. Will the others make it in time to lend her a hand? Will she even need it? Or will she be ready for action?
