The rest of the day went by uneventfully. Harry is starting to dread tomorrow, as that is when Potions, with Professor Snape, starts.

At dinner, sitting with the Gryfinndors, Ron turned to Harry "why are you so obsessed with being worshipped, Harry. Surely, it can't be all that good."

"Yeah, I guess, the more faith in me, the more expectations. Being worshipped must lead to a lot of disappointment."

"See, it isn't all that good."

"Plus, the bigger I would get, the more envious people would become, to crash it."

Harry looked down in contemplation.

"But what if there is little expectation of me. That is why I want to be a corrupter, someone that hurts. To have as little expectations on me as possible. I want to be a god that stops things from being better, with no proof. I want to be able to say, things would be better without my religion, but it is still here. The faith or expectation is that I made things worse. I want my religion to be built like a pyramid against the gravity of envy. That is why I take 51%, while the rest of the 49% is left to my followers. To build a foundation against envy."

"Yeah, but anyone could do that. No one could build some kind of tall, columned structure."

"Sigh, I just want a religion that makes things worse off than they could have been. I want my followers to cause more problems than the solutions. I want it to be voluntary, but with a penalty. Like the refusal of education, or healthcare. Something that, sure, isn't bad, it just decreases a person's potential. I want it to be a force of nature, for others to write off losses from it."

Draco then walked over "Harry, I have a solution to the problem we discussed earlier."

Harry made some room for him on the bench.

"There is a bunch of groups, in Sweden, that are experiencing a famine, the Voksfre people. Maybe we could send some muggle help in exchange for faith."

"I don't think that will work, they could just have expectations. And besides, I want to make things worse. Plus, maybe it would make more sense to do this in the first world, before the problems happen."

"You mean like intervening before a genocide happens."

"Yeah."

"You wouldn't believe it" here Draco took a downward glance towards Hermione, "but in the Ministry, they predict natural genocides and famines all the time. Naturally, because of the Statute of Secrecy, we don't intervene, but just watch. In fact, my father said that the Ghenther people of Canada are due for a natural genocide at any moment."

"That sounds promising, maybe we could make it worse by intervening, maybe by making the whole spectacle public. That is how I make things worse, I watch, narrate, and broadcast the entire thing public."

"So how are we going to do that."

"Maybe we could gather information on how the Ghenther are living their life, and make it worse by describing them like they are animals. And like a nature documentary, detail their rise and fall. That will make it worse. As well, we could rename the Ghenther and the Canadians; Harry. Just relabel them."

"That sounds awful" said Hermione.

"But by intervening to make things worse, we create faith. Something bad happening creates faith that there is something better that makes the whole thing worthwhile. That makes life worthwhile. So by making something worse, we are generating faith. So that maybe someone else, like you Hermione, can swoop in and make things better. Another reason I want to make things worse, is because it gives control over to them. By improving things, I take control, but in degenerating things I give control over to them."

"That's not a bad idea. You make things worse for them, and I can makes things better."

"So I guess that means that you are quitting the group, Hermione?"

"Yeah, I guess it does."

"So how do you plan on making things better for them?"

"I will encourage aid and reward those that suffered the most."

"Sounds traditional."

"So" said Draco "when do we plan on doing this. I have homework, and I need to prepare for Potions tomorrow." Here Harry sighed, "ughh, don't remind me."

"Well, maybe on the weekend, or how about Friday night and the weekend. That way we should have some time and it won't be too far off."

"Yeah, my father sounded like it was pretty close to happening. Maybe not this week, but if we want a lot of background documentation for beforehand, we need to collect their data now."

"And I will start warning them and telling them how they could act to lessen the risk of the genocide. Maybe tell them to flee Canada."

"Sounds good Hermione, good luck."

"And bad luck to whatever it is that you are doing."

"By the way Hermione, I will rename all your aid as Harry, as that is what I do."

Hermione got pretty upset over that and continued with her feast in a huff.

After several courses and rounds of drinks, the students walked out of the hall, past several fireplaces alit in the halls, and went to their dorm rooms to sleep.
