After Transfiguration Harry is busy, not studying the class material, but in writing a letter to his twins.
"To Gravity and Electrostatic Riddle-Potter.
I am your real father, but am unable to take care of you outside of the orphanage. To prove it, I have written this message in Parseltongue, a language which only your family can speak. There are other ways of proving it, but I will wait until you are older.
The purpose of this message is to dictate a career path for you. For you come from infamy and if your parentage is discovered will be much hated. You are a wizard like both your parents, but you are both much hated. I cannot repeat that enough.
People will only get angrier if you pick a path of healing or nurturing. So instead, you must pick a prickly path.
I have the list of paths written down below:
1) Be an enforcer for law and order in a country. In exceptional cases you will brutally repress rebellions with torture or death. In general you provide law and order.
2) Be a cleric of the Stones of Merlin religious order. In exceptional cases you will molest young children to bring great shame. In general, you shame others to be better.
3) Be an industrialist polluter. In exceptional cases you cause life spans to decrease and all sorts of cancers. In general you provide jobs to toil at the furnace and deal with the after-effects.
4) Be a private health-care provider executive. In exceptional cases you make it so people like teachers go bankrupt over medical bills. In general you increase innovation for health practices.
5) Be a weaponized wand rights advocate. In exceptional cases you indirectly cause seven year old's to accidently kill themselves or others with wands. In general you increase public protection by arming them.
6) Be a trading executive that promotes trading between enemies. In exceptional cases, the enemy nation will use your trade products to help kill the people that traded with them. In general you promote peace with trade ties.
7) Be a financial executive for an unregulated financial industry. In exceptional cases you cause depressions where people fall into destitution and desperation. But in general you make more money for everyone.
8) Be an advocate for migrants from terrorized regions. In exceptional cases terrorists will follow them and commit terror attacks all over your nation. But in general you will be providing an opportunity to restart their lives.
9) Be a manure industrialist. In exceptional cases you encourage the dumping of human feces in the streets. But in general you collect human manure for energy extraction.
10) Be a loan shark. In exceptional cases you cause people to fall hopelessly in debt. But in general you allow quick access to cash.
11) Be a slave owner. In exceptional cases you brutalize your slaves. But in general you provide cheap labor and guaranteed employment.
12) Be a commodities speculator. In exceptional cases you cause massive fluctuations in food or other commodity prices. But in general you provide long-term security for the food or other commodity.
13) Be an alternative doctor for epidemics. In exceptional cases you will be responsible for a patient refusing a vaccine and dying from the disease. But in general you prevent your patients from experiencing a vaccine's side effects.
Each of you can pick a path, and stick to it.
If you fail at your path, you can always fail at what you choose to do.

Harry quickly put the letter away, and went back to the Owlery to send the letter. Finding Hedwig, Harry tied that letter to the owl and sent her off, to the orphanage.
Harry then walks down to the rest of his classmates as they study for Potions tomorrow.
