IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!

Don't Worry, Not Discontinued!

Going say it again, not discontinued! NOT DISCONTINUED!

But please, read this anyway (even if you're reading this announcement months after I've uploaded it).

Pretty sure most of you just went "It's not a chapter!? ƒµçç µ! This damn bast**d!"

(Just trying to make you guys laugh a little bit... really hope I succeeded in doing that. Maybe it lessened the amount of hostility I am surely about to receive within the next few minutes... hopefully)

As an avid reader of fanfiction who sees "Not Discontinued" announcements a lot, I know what it feels like.

I have some important things to say. Now, I am quite aware that many people have been disappointed and possibly mad about the fact that Chapter 5 has still not been updated (almost six months at the time of this announcement).

The main reason (not counting school and private life and stuff) is that I've been scared.

I don't really want to admit it, but it's the truth. I'm afraid that the next time I rewrite the smut, it's going to be just as bad as the last rewrite I did (if not even worse)… So far, that has been the general trend I've seen in the past couple rewrites.

I don't want to bore you all with any more excuses, so, I'm going to ask you all which option you would rather prefer regarding the continuation of this story.

Option 1)

I've already written ~14k words of chapter 6, the chapter that I planned after the smut. So, the first option is that I can continue writing Chapter 5 and move onto the other chapters. Once I feel confident enough to rewrite Chapter 5 (once again and for a final time), I'll write that and publish all the chapters I've written (if a majority choose this option, then when I publish the chapters, I'll do so with 1 chapter a day.) And until then, all of you can just choose to forget this story. I truly have no idea how long it'll take, but I can promise that once it is ready, I'll already be several 100k words into the story.

Disadvantage:

No uploads for an indefinite amount of time. Basically, an indefinite hiatus where I'll still be working on the fanfic.

Advantage:

When I upload again, you'll be able to read a lot.

Also considering how I'll have more time to write them, you'll more likely get more content per chapter than there would be if I were to continue updating without the hiatus.

All the smut chapters up to that point will be ready and I'll publish them along with the other chapters.

Onto Option 2!

Option 2)

I've already written the plot part of the smut — the part which will be crucial knowledge for following along with the rest of the fanfic. So, the second option is that I don't publish the smut part of Chapter 5, but just the plot part. After that, I'll continue with Chapter 6, 7, etc. Once I'm confident enough, I'll go back and write all the smuts I missed and publish them, as well as publish a notification chapter with all the chapter numbers so you all know the smuts are uploaded and where they are without having to check every chapter.

Disadvantage:

Possibly several gaps between chapters that could confuse you. I'll try to avoid such a situation, but I would have to set-up the chapters as if there are smut chapters while there aren't any.

You'll likely get less content than you would with Option 1 (reason stated earlier)

Advantage:

More regular updates without indefinite hiatuses.

Please tell me which option you choose so I know how to proceed. I would be quite sad if you are mad at me, but I'll (hopefully but not probably) be able to handle it. It is totally understandable if you decide to unfollow or not read the story because you're annoyed. If you choose to roast me, just make sure you aren't a "Guest," because if I see someone without an account swearing at me, I'll delete that comment right away.

Yes. I will censor you, Dear Guest.

No. I am not Xi Jinping, Dear Guest.

No. I am not being racist, Dear Guest.

I'm just a person that doesn't want random people whom I have no way to chat with swearing at me while also trying to decrease the amount of loathing and hostility heading my way, Dear Guest.
