Chapter 7: A Fateful Reunion!

Kirihito slowly opened his eyes to see his surrounding. He was now in the some kind of laboratory that had the light turned off.

"What is this room? Is this some of lab or making some kind of super weapon?" He said to himself as he looked around at this laboratory.

Kirihito slapped his face with both of his hands, waking up a bit. "It's not time to looking around it. I better go to security room to gather more information!"

Just as he said, Kirihito walked out the laboratory and left the room. He went down the hallway, then he looked at the window to see it was now night-time.

'Woah, it was now already night.' Kirihito thought in surprise, but he heard someone approaching him, prompting him hide behind the pillar for waiting someone to come closer.

When someone was coming closer, Kirihito made his move and grabbed the person's neck and held him against the back of the wall.

The person was a male around 20 years old, brown hair, gray eyes, wearing an officer outfit.

"W-Who the hell are you!?" The office said in fear as he stared at Kirihito, who glaring at him like a fierce tiger preying on its prey.

"Shut up. You better tell me what is this place?" Kirihito demanded.

"A-Academia."

Just as the office said, Kirihito raised one of his eyebrows in surprise.

'Academia, huh? So, that's means I'm in the Academia.' He thought to himself, before glaring at the scared officer.

"If you play anything stupid, you'll never live very long. Where's the room can controls the camera and power. And also where's the girls called Ruri and Rin. Kirihito threatened, making the officer scared to heard that words.

"I-I really don't know that girls called Ruri or Rin? B-But, I know they are locked up in the cell rooms in the dungeon. As for the power room, walk down the hall and a few stairs. You can't miss."

Kirihito didn't say anything as he delivered a hard punch in the officer's gut, making him unconsciousness. After that, he searched the officer for his keycard, then he got his keycard before placing it into his pocket, and he dragged the guard back to the laboratory.

Kirihito continued walk down the hall and he took a few stairs to the room on the left side, before reaching the bottom.

As the door automatically opened, Kirihito looked around the room with the full of security system and power system.

'Hmm… since I finally this room but how do I get destroys those machines?' Kirihito thought to himself as he placed his left hand over his chin.

However, Kirihito had an idea to destroys the security and power systems. He reached his Duel Disk from his jacket, then bringing out a cable as well.

'Thanksfully, I learnt the hack systems back from my real world. Hopefully, it can success to shut down and placed the virus across this Academia.' Kirihito thought with a smirk.

Kirihito placed the cable to his Duel Disk and the machines, which had an USB. He then started to hack and used the virus to shut down the camera and power system in the Academia.

After a few minutes later, Kirihito put his cable and his Duel Disk into his jacket as he finally hacked the security and power system in the Academia, except the cell rooms with his own way to make sure he won't be caught easily by the staffs or someone else as well.

"Alright, I better get out this room now before someone noticed that." Kirihito said to himself, before quickly leaving the room.

'Wait for me. Ruri, Rin. I will definitely save you girls from this place.' He thought in determination, sprinting towards the cell rooms.

Meanwhile

The power suddenly gone off, making the staffs and students of Academia noticed in confuse and curious. Some of them were wondering in panic and fear as this suddenly accident all around the classrooms and rooms were forcefully locked down, not allowing them to open the door, including the Late-Night classes locked down as well with the computers were being hacked.

"What the hell is going here!?" A random male student cried out in shock as the lights were turned off and the computers were being hacked.

"Why is this door locked!" A random staff exclaimed in shock as he was trying open the door, but it was being hacked.

"Who turned off the lights!?" A random female students added as she shocked at her room was being dark.

The trio officers were patrolling the area as they noticed the power and security systems were being turned off and hacked. They are wearing a blue uniforms and helmets that are modeled 'Obelisk the Tormentor'. They have crystals on their helmets of the colors red, yellow, and green. They are members known as Obelisk Force.

"Hey! What's happening out there!?" The Obelisk Force Green exclaimed in surprise.

"Is something's up in the power room and see what's going on!" Obelisk Force Yellow added as they went to power room.

"I will send a word to Professor!" Obelisk Force Red informed as he ran towards the throne room.

Meanwhile

Kirihito quickly went downs the stairs to reaching his destination. He looked towards the door on the right side, making him to think it was the cell rooms or not.

'I don't know what room was in there? But, I better take a look to see what's inside?' He thought to himself.

With that, Kirihito entered the room, then his expression suddenly turned into shock and horror. In this room was a large laboratory but not just a normal laboratory, it was some kind of bug-like monsters and large cocoons inside the large containers.

'W-What is this? Are these bugs or the bugs from the space?!' Kirihito thought in shock, seeing this laboratory room.

Just as he seeing this room, Kirihito covered his mouth as he prevented the bad sick came out from his stomach to mouth. Then, he quickly left the laboratory room. Kirihito took a deep breath before tired to stay clam.

"I better find Ruri and Rin to get out this wicked Academia."

Kirihito continued went to dungeon, before he went down the stairs but he didn't take any chance to rest and getting hungry. After taking ten minutes, he reached to the dungeon as he noticed a guard, who secured the cell room but luckily he slept on the chair. So, Kirihito decided to sneak on the guard as he brought out the white cloth, then gagged on the guard, making him struggle for breath before knocking him out.

Kirihito then proceed the cells to find the two girls. He then looked at the gates of a cell room as his eyes widened in surprise. He finally found the two girls that he made a promise to them as the two girls are sitting on the ground, then their arms wrapping around their knees. They are named as Ruri and Rin.

"Ruri. Rin." Kirihito called out.

With their names called, Ruri and Rin slowly raised their heads and looked towards at someone, which making them looked in surprise and shock.

"N-No way…" Rin asked in shock and disbelief as she held her hands in front of her mouth.

"Kirihito…? Is it really you?" Ruri said softly in unison. She couldn't believe that she was really seeing Kirihito again.

"Yes. It's me."

Kirihito took out the keycard as he inserted the cell room's door, unlocking the door. Ruri and Rin quickly rushed and hugged him as they began to let out their sob, which makes Kirihito widened his eyes in surprise before giving them a hug.

"I… I been waiting for you too long and I always waiting for you." Ruri sobbed sadly.

"I know, I know. I already make a promise." Kirihito assured.

"It… It hurts. It hurts so much." Rin sobbed as well.

"I know. I'm here for you girls, no matter what."

Kirihito smiled as they released their hug, before he realized that he got something in return. So, Kirihito reached his deck box as he brought out a card and looked at it.

"Ruri, I think this card belongs you." Kirihito said as he held a card out to Ruri, making her accepted a card.

Ruri looked at her ace monster card Assembled Nightingale, before glancing at Kirihito with a smile.

"Thank you, Kirihito." Ruri smiled in happiness. "I'm so glad… you can keep our promise."

"Alright, we should get out here." Kirihito said, earning a nod from Rin and Ruri.

Rin noticed a knocked out of cold guard, before looking at Kirihito. "I guess you didn't show any mercy."

Kirihito shrugged. "Well, he deserves that."

Kirihito went up the stairs to leaving the dungeon with Ruri and Rin followed behind him. Soon, they finally the exit of Academia as they reached the garden but they widened their eyes in surprise, seeing they are trapped and surrounded by the three members of Obelisk Force and the tall and old man.

The old man was fair skin, sunken eyes and cheeks, bags under his eyes, small green pupils, and long white hair in a style reminiscent of Rex Goodwin. He wore a long dark gray coat with an orange-brown center that is patterned with yellow lines, in addition to gray pants and black shoes.

"Kirihito…" Ruri said as she and Rin remained close to Kirihito, feeling scares the old man and three members of Obelisk Force.

The old man smirked darkly towards Kirihito. "Let introduce myself I am Doktor but I have to say. I'm very impressed. I'm very much to know your name from the so much trouble of you."

Kirihito narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth in anger and annoyance as he didn't give the creepy old man answer but he still protected Ruri and Rin.

"Give us those girls! The Professor-" The old man suggested but Kirihito cut off him.

"I don't care what your Professor wanted! And I won't let you hands on Ruri and Rin! I will protected them and gave them a hope no matter what the cost!" Kirihito snapped angrily.

"Hope…" Rin muttered as she held her hands over chest, glancing at Kirihito.

"Kirihito…" Ruri said emotionally as she stared at Kirihito with a small tears and blush on her face.

The Doktor had enough Kirihito's words as he snapped his fingers, ordering the Obelisk Force. "Guards! Who wants to give this wannabe hero a proper burial by force!"

Just as he ordered, one of the three Obelisk Force members activated his Duel Disks, preparing to challenge and capture Kirihito and the two girls.

"Allow us to get him, Doktor." Obelisk Force with a red gem on his helmet said as the other two members of Obelisk Force nodded.

"Ruri, Rin, just stay behind me. Let me take over this duel." Kirihito said as he took out his Duel Disk and attached his left arm, activating it.

"Be safe, Kirihito." Rin concerned as she and Ruri steps back away from Kirihito, avoiding the shockwaves from the duel.

"Don't worry about me. I got win this duel and we'll escape from the Academia." Kirihito assured with a gently smile, before glaring sharply at three Obelisk Force members.

"You think you can challenge the elitist of Academia." Red smirked evilly.

"You make a bigger mistake." Yellow added.

"You're going down." Green finished.

"Wrong! I'm not challenge your Academia dogs!" Kirihito stated with a fierce look on his face, before drawing five cards from his hand. "I'll win this duel!"

"My turn!" Green declared as he drew a card. "I activates the Spell Card Polymerization! With these, I fuse two Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds from my hand!"

"!" Ruri widened her eyes in surprise.

Just as the Obelisk Force (Green) said, the two mechanical dark green colored dogs appeared on the field, then swirling together into the Fusion Monster.

"Mechincal hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! Fusion Summon! Appear now! Level 5! Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" Green chanted as the two headed mechanical dog appeared.

"Then, I set a cards and end my turn!"

"Ruri, what's going on?" Rin asked somewhat worried, touching Ruri's shoulders as Ruri held her hands over her chest and she breathed heavily, feeling the horrors that she and her people of her dimension had to go through the during invasion.

However, Ruri suddenly breathed heavily as she felt scare the Fusion Monster in her sight but thanks to Rin gave her calm.

'Ancient Gear. Those monsters allowed all of the players can't activated their Spell and Trap but I won't be easily defeated.' Kirihito thought to himself.

"My turn, draw!" The Galaxy-Eyes user declared as he drew a card. "I activates the Field Spell Photon World!"

Just as Kirihito played the Field Spell Card, Academia's garden turned into space and full of astroids.

"Next, I Normal Summon Photon Crusher!" Kirihito continued as Photon Crusher appeared, doing an attack pose.

"Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's effect activates! When an opponent Normal or Special Summoned a monster, I can place a gear counter on my monster." Green stated as the gear counter appeared on Double Hunting Hound.

Kirihito pointed out the space. "Photon World's effect activates! When I Normal or Special Summoned a 'Photon' Monster, all of the opponent that do not have control a 'Photon' Monster so all of you must take damage equal to the monster's Level 100!"

At hearing this, three Obelisk Forces widened their eyes in surprise and shock.

"What!?" Red exclaimed.

"Taste the 400 damages from my Photon Monster!" Kirihito announced.

Appearing from the space, the several of astroids strike down to the three Obelisk Forces, creating an explosion like the fireworks and earning the grunt sounds from them.

"I set three facedown cards and turn end!" Kirihito finished.

"You pay for this, you intruder! Draw!" Red said in anger as he drew a card. "I Normal Summon Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Appearing from the pillar of light, the green mechanical dog appeared.

Ancient Gear Hunting Hound - LV: 3 - (1000/1000)

"I activates Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's effect! When an opponent controls a monster, you must take 600 points of damage!" Red stated as Hunting Hound opened its jaw and fired the purple beams to Kirihito.

"Counter Trap; Damage Polarizer activated!" Kirihito countered as one of his facedown cards activated. "When an opponent activates the card's effect that inflict damage, I can negate its activation and effect! Also, both players draws 1 card!"

Just as Kirihito said, he, and the three Obelisk Forces drew a card.

Red gritted his teeth in frustration. "I end my turn."

"My turn!" Yellow declared as he drew a card. "I activates the Spell Card Polymerization! I fuse three Ancient Gear Hunting Hound from my hand!"

The three Hunting Hounds appeared, then swirled in the Fusion Summoning Method.

"Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! Fusion Summon! Appear now! Level 7! Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" Yellow chanted.

Appearing from the pillar of light, the three headed Hunting Hounds appeared.

Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound - LV: 7 - (1800/1000)

"I end my turn!" Yellow finished.

"My turn!" Green declared as he drew a card. "I Normal Summon Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Appearing from the pillar of light, mechanical Hunting Hound appeared.

"And I activates the effect of Ancient Gear Hunting Hound! Since you know the monster's effect so I won't bother to say and you must take 600 points of damage!" Green explained as Hunting Hound pounced on Kirihito, earning a groaned in painful from him.

"I end my turn." Green smirked, finishing his turn.

'They didn't attack on my monster? Just what are they planning?' Kirihito thought curiously, narrowing his eyes.

"My turn, draw!" He drew a card, looking at his next card was Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

"I Normal Summon Photon Thrasher from my hand!"

Just as Photon Thrasher appeared as he performed an attack pose.

"Next, Photon World's effect activated! You three must took 400 points of damage that I summons Photon Thrasher!" Kirihito stated as the astroids fall down upon three Obelisk Forces, creating an explosion in the process.

"Guh!!" The three Obelisk Forces groaned in painful.

"Two Level 4 monsters? So, does that's means…" Ruri muttered.

"Now, I releases Photon Thrasher and Photon Crusher!" Kirihito continued.

Just as Photon Thrasher and Photon Crusher disappearing, the red shuriken appeared on Kirihito's hand, which making them looked in confuse except The Doktor raised one of his eyebrows in curious.

Then, Kirihito placed a card on his Duel Disk before throwing the shuriken in the air, which it spun faster than lighting as it let out the light in brightness.

"Galaxy shining in the darkness, become a ray of hope and live within my servant!" Kirihito chanted.

At hearing this chant, Ruri got her attention of the first words and saw something appeared.

"It can't be." Ruri surprised.

"The embodiment of light, now descend! Appear now, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!"

Appearing from the light, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon took its appearance and roared loudly.

"Galaxy-Eyes…." Ruri muttered in surprise as Rin looked at the dragon in surprise as well.

"I see, you're are not from this dimension." The Doktor spoke. "I must capture you and find out more about you."

"Photon World's effect activated! Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's Level was 8. So, you three must took 800 points of damage!" Kirihito announced as the asteroids strikes three Obelisk Forces down once agian.

"Alright!" Rin shouted in excitement.

Ruri didn't say anything but she still stared at Kirihito and his Photon Dragon for a moment before she widened her eyes in surprise and shock as she saw an image a duelist that she knew. The young man has light blue-grey eyes, pale skins and blonde hair that curls up in a point with a dark green spiked front and bangs. He wore a black trench coat with high collar over a grey shirt, white pants with black boots. He also wore a belt with two purple deck boxes and a black fingerless glove on this right wrist.

"Kaito…" Ruri said.

"What's going on, Ruri?" Rin asked in concern.

Ruri shook her head slightly. "Nothing. It must be my imagination."

"Galaxy-Eyes—" Kirihito was about to declare an attack.

"Ha! You fell for it!" Green smirked manically, making Kirihito widened his eyes in surprise.

"I activates the Continuous Trap; Stonehenge Shield! Due to its effect, it can allowed an opponent's monster with 3000 ATK or more to negate its attack and its effect negated! And also, your monster's ATK decreased into zero!" Green explained with a devil smirk, along with other two Obelisk Force smirked.

'With this, the victory is our now. Hehehe…' The Doktor thought to himself.

Suddenly, the stonehenge rose up from the ground, then surrounded Galaxy-Eyes as it unleashed the lightings, causing it roared in agony and painful.

"Galaxy-Eyes!" Kirihito shouted in concern, seeing his Galaxy-Eyes trapped in the stonehenge.

"No way…" Ruri muttered sadly as she covered her mouth.

"Now, what should you do? Surrender or what?" Yellow smirked mockingly.

Kirihito gritted his teeth in anger and frustration as he set a card into Spell/Trap Card zone. "I set a card and turn end!"

"My turn!" Red declared as he drew a card. "I activates the Spell Card; Polymerization from my hand! I fuse Ancient Gear Hunting Hound on my field and Hunting Hound from my hand!"

"Mechincal hounds who carry on the ancient spirits, flock together and become one with new power! Fusion Summon! Appear now! Level 5! Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound - LV: 5 - (1400/1000)

"Battle—" Red was about to declare his attack.

"Trap Card, open! Threating Roar!" Kirihito countered as his facedown card rose up. "With this card is activated, my opponent cannot conduct a battle this turn!"

An intimidating roar came from the card as Obelisk Force (Red)'s monster cannot attacking Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

"Tch!" Red annoyed in anger. "I end my turn!"

"My turn!" Yellow announced as he drew a card. "I activates the Spell Card; Double Fusion! By paying 900 life points, I can perform a Fusion Summon twice!"

Appearing from the pillar of light, the three headed Hunting Hound appeared.

"Then, I fuse it with my partner's Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Just as Obelisk Force (Yellow) said, the three headed Hunting Hound and another Hunting Hound from Obelisk Force (Green)'s field as they swirled into the Fusion portal, creating a powerful Fusion Monster.

"Fusion Summon! Appear now! Level 9! Ultimate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Appearing from the pillar of light, the ultimate version of three headed Hunting Hound appeared.

Ultimate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound - LV: 9 - (2800/2000)

"When this card is Fusion Summoned, it can cut your Life Points in half!" Yellow explained as Ultimate Hunting Hound opened its jaw and fired the energy beams towards Kirihito, causing him to groaned in painful.

"Kirihito!" Ruri and Run shouted in concern with a worry expression on their face.

"I'm fine.." Kirihito assured.

"And also, Ultimate Hunting Hound can attack three times and you can't activates the Spell and Trap cards!" Green explained with a devil smirk.

"Battle—" Yellow was about to declare an attack.

"Trap activates! Impenetrable Attack!" Kirihito interrupted as one of his set cards activated. "Through its effect, I can use one of the effects. So, I choose take no battle damage in this turn!"

"But, your monster will be destroyed!" Yellow reminded as Ultimate Hunting Hound dashed towards Galaxy-Eyes, destroying it with ease.

"Thank you and please forgive me, Galaxy-Eyes…" Kirihito muttered sadly and regret.

"I end my turn!" Yellow announced.

"My turn!" Green declared as he drew a card. "I activates the Quick-Play Spell; Twin Twisters! By discarding 1 card from my hand, I can destroys the two Spell or Trap cards on the opponent's field.

Just as Obelisk Force (Green) said, the two tornadoes appeared went for Kirihito's two set cards and destroyed them.

"Now, I activates the Spell Card; Chaos Ancient Gear Fusion!" Green stated as he played the card. "By sending the Polymerization to graveyard, I banish my monsters in my graveyard equal to the number of Fusion Summon materials I need!"

"Next, I negate the effects and summon conditions of the Fusion material monsters in my decks and Extra Deck, and special summon!" Green continued as he took out the cards from his deck and Extra Deck. "Ancient Gear Hunting Hound, Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound, Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound, and Ultimate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!"

Appearing from the column of light, the four different Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds appeared.

"Four Ancient Gear monsters…" Kirihito said in surprise.

"No way…" Rin said in disbelief.

Ruri didn't say anything but she stared the four Ancient Gear monsters in surprise and fear, meaning something is coming out.

"I fuse all Ancient Gears!" Green declared as the four Ancient Gear Monsters swirled in the Fusion Portal.

"Mechanized hounds that inherited ancient souls!" Red chanted.

"Merge your ten heads, and become chaos and tremendous power!" Yellow chanted as well.

"Fusion Summon! Appear Level 10! Chaos Ancient Gear Giant!" Green finished.

Appearing from the enormous of light, the huge and behemoth version of Ancient Gear Monster with ten head dogs outfitted throughout its body, feet, knees, arms, shoulders, chest, and head appeared.

Chaos Ancient Gear Giant - LV: 10 - (4500/3000)

At seeing this huge and behemoth version of Fusion Ancient Gear Monster, Kirihito and Rin widened their eyes in surprise but Ruri recognized that monster in her homeland.

"That monster was…" Ruri said shakily in fear as she walked backwards a bit.

Needless to say, Ruri screamed in fear as her expression was filled with fear and despair, making Kirihito and Rin turned to the girl.

"Ruri!" Rin exclaimed as she quickly rushed and hugged Ruri in comfort. "What's going on?"

Kirihito stared at Ruri in surprise and disbelief, before turning to Doctor and the three Obelisk Forces fiercely and sharply.

"You bastards!" Kirihito demanded in anger. "What are you bastards did to her!?"

"Oh, it's nothing." Doktor said smugly as he shrugged his hands. "The Professor ordered our Academia to conquer and destroy the Xyz Dimension and captured that girl. Since that girl saw that monster in her dimension so she was having a very terrible nightmare."

"What did you just say?" Kirihito said in surprise as Rin shocked, still hugging Ruri comfortingly.

Kirihito formed an anger expression on his face as he gritted his teeth. "You fiends… You'll pay for this!"

"You better take your life and your soul to see in the next world." Doktor said darkly, before turning to three Obelisk Forces. "Guards, sending him a next world!"

"Now, you intruder. Are you ready to taste of defeat?" Green asked darkly with an evil grin on his face.

"Grrr…" Kirihito didn't say anything as he gritted his teeth in anger and annoyance.

"Chaos Ancient Gear Giant attacks player directly! Crush of Darkness!"

As Obelisk Force (Green) announced, Chaos Giant smashed down to Kirihito with its right fist as he was about to finish his life.

"I activates Kuriphoton's effect!" Kirihito quickly countered, which making Doktor and the three Obelisk Forces widened their eyes in surprise. "By paying my half of Life Points, I can reduce the battle damage points in this turn!"

Chaos Giant smashed down its fist to Kuriphoton, making it squeaked in painful and exploded in the process as the huge shockwave hit Kirihito, sending him flying backwards.

"Arghhhh!!!" Kirihito screamed in painful, before he landed on the floors, then coughing the blood a bit.

"Kirihito!" Rin shouted in concern with a sad expression on her face.

'What is this… How was the duel field become the real!' Kirihito thought in curious and shock as he felt the real pain from the shockwave, before coughing the blood out a bit from his mouth.

"Why didn't you just die already, you bastard!" Green frustrated in anger, pointing at Kirihito directly. "With that, I end my turn!"

"Now, it's your turn and draw your card!" The Doktor called out, before noticing Kirihito, who was struggling to stand up due to his pain from the shockwave earlier.

"Do you still want to suffer again, aren't you?" He said smugly. "You better surrender right now, brat. And for the last time, give us the girls and Professor will—"

"I refuse this… I absolutely refuse this!" Kirihito growled as he slowly stood up, then glaring at the Doktor and three Obelisk Forces.

"Rin and Ruri are my ray of hope! I can't let you Academia to stole away from me! I will definitely keep them safe! I'm their last hope until the end!" He yelled.

"Kirihito…" Ruri muttered in awe as she shed a tear.

"Kirihito." Rin said in relief and happiness.

"Hmph! What the nonsense words you got there. However, you're still coward and weakling to challenge the elitist of Obelisk Force." The Doktor mocked with an evil smrik on his face as the three Obelisk Force laughed mockingly at Kirihito.

"I'm the coward and weakling, you say…" Kirihito closed his eyes as he clutched his fists tightly. A moment later, he opened his eyes widely, then lifting his head to the space.

"Haaaaa!!!" Kirihito roared loudly with rage as the crimson aura enveloped him, much to the Doktor and three Obelisk Forces stood in surprise.

The aura of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon appeared behind Kirihito as it roared loudly and its eyes glowing.

Rin covered her mouth with her hands as her eyes widened. "Kirihito…"

"Kirihito become red…" Ruri added, staring at Kirihito's outburst.

'What is this!? Is this something kind of power within him?' The Doktor thought in shock, stepping back a bit.

"My turn!" Kirihito declared as he drew a card powerfully, creating a powerful shockwave hit to Doktor and three Obelisk Forces.

"I Normal Summon Galaxy Knight from my hand!" He announced as Galaxy Knight appeared, doing an attack pose.

"Galaxy Knight's effect activates! When this card is normal summoned without tribute, it loses 1000 ATK and it allowed me to special summoned Galaxy-Eyes from my graveyard! Revive, Galaxy-Eyes!"

Appearing from the portal of graveyard, Galaxy-Eyes reappeared as it roared loudly.

"I activates the Spell Card; Galaxy Expedition!" Kirihito held up the card. "When I controls a Level 5 or higher 'Photon' or 'Galaxy' monster, I Special Summon 'Photon' or 'Galaxy' monster from my deck in defense position! Appear, Galaxy Knight!"

Appearing from the pillar of light, another copies of Galaxy Knight stood next to Galaxy-Eyes appeared.

"I Overlay three Level 8 Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, and two Galaxy Knights!" Kirihito declared as his three monsters turned into light swirls, before flying into the red colored galaxy-like portal, creating an explosion.

"What!?" The Doktor exclaimed as three Obelisk Forces widened their eyes in surprise.

"Overflowing galaxy, become the striking light, and show yourself!" Kirihito chanted as he summoned a red and black spear in hand, before throwing it into the red colored galaxy-like portal, then glowed in brightness. "Descend now, my very soul! Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!!!"

Appearing from the light, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon took its appearance as it roared in mighty.

"Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon…" Ruri muttered in awe as she stared at the three headed photon dragon.

"Awesome." Rin said in the mix of awe and surprise.

"Neo Galaxy-Eyes's effect activates! When Galaxy-Eyes used as an Xyz Summoned, it can negate all of the opponents' monsters on the field!" Kirihito stated.

"No way!?" Three Obelisk Forces exclaimed in shock.

"Photon Howling!" Kirihito shouted as Neo Galaxy-Eyes roared loudly across the field, causing all of the Ancient Gear monsters crackled electricity, then turning into iron scraps.

"I activates two Quick-Play Spell; Concentrating Current and Dragon Fighting Spirit!" He continued as he held two cards.

"Concentrating Current's effect allowed my monster gains ATK equal to its DEF equal until the end phase!"

Neo Galaxy-Eyes roared proudly as its body glowed in brightness, feeling its attack power become stronger.

At seeing this situation, three Obelisk Forces widened their eyes in surprise.

"7500 ATK!" Red and Yellow exclaimed.

"B-But, you only have to attack one of our monsters!" Green reminded somewhat scared.

"Dragon Fighting Spirit's effect allowed Neo Galaxy-Eyes attacks all Special Summoned monsters for each 1 additional attack!" Kirihito explained with a fierce expression on his face.

"No way!?" Three Obelisk Forces exclaimed in shock and fear.

"Are you ready to repent!" Kirihito declared, making three Obelisk Forces shivered in fear as they already scared the 15 years old teen.

'!' Ruri widened her eyes in surprised as she knew that quote from someone.

"Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon! Attack! Ultimate Photon Stream!!!" Kirihito shouted as Neo Galaxy-Eyes unleashed its powerful destruction strikes to Ancient Gear monsters, destroying them in the process.

"Arggghhhhh!!!" Three Obelisk Forces screamed in painful as the strong shockwave blasts them backwards, including the Doktor as well.

Just as the duel ended, the holographic slowly disappeared, revealing the garden turned into warzone, then the Doktor and the three Obelisk Forces were knocked out of cold as Kirihito exhausted in tiredness, the crimson aura slowly fade away, then he falls in his knees in pain. Until, Rin and Ruri noticed Kirihito who was suddenly pain in his whole body due to the Chaos Giant's attack.

"Kirihito!" Ruri shouted in concern as she rushed to Kirihito.

"Are you okay?" Rin asked with a worry expression on her face.

Kirihito didn't say anything, but he gave Ruri and Rin a forced smile on his face before collapsing on the ground and passed out.

"Kirihito?!" Ruri asked worriedly as she held the boy, shedding a tear down on her face, but he didn't respond once again.

Rin quickly checked for a pulse, before letting out a sigh in relief. "He's okay. He was just unconscious only." she assured.

"Thank goodness." Ruri sighed in relief as she held Kirihito's right hand gently.

Unbeknownst to them, Ruri and Rin's bracelets suddenly glowed in brightness, much to them looked in surprise.

"What's—"

Before Ruri could say anything, the light surrounded her and Rin as it glowed intensely, including Kirihito who was unconscious as well. When the light died down, they were nowhere to be found.

Kirihito slowly opened his eyes as he sat on the couch, before placing his hand on his forehead. He didn't know what time is and what day is?

'What's happening back there? All I remember I was saving Ruri and Rin from the Academia, then I duel three Obelisk Forces, and I won it.' He thought to himself, but he couldn't remember the last part. 'Drat! I can't remember next.'

"You finally wake up, Kirihito."

Sitting on the ground, Rin gazed down at him with a gentle smile on her face. Kirihito looked at his surround as he was in the abandoned warehouse that he trained Yuzu to become Fusion user, before turning his head to Rin.

"Rin…?" Kirihito asked. "Is it really you or is this a mere dream?"

Rin shook her head, then smiled at him. "No, it wasn't. You saved us back there and I'm really thank you for saving us back there."

"Oh, I see it. I did it." Kirihito sighed in relief, before he wants to say something else.

"Rin, how long was I out? And where are we?"

"Two days. I know that duel yesterday exhausted you greatly, Kirihito." Rin explained.

"I know it, Rin." Kirihito nodded as he gazed his right hand, then turning into a fist. "But, I have no choice but I have use 'that' to breakthrough the Academia."

Rin held Kirihito's right hand gently as she gazed on Kirihito. "Kirihito, just please don't say that. Promise me you won't do that again."

"No promise, Rin." Kirihito smiled sadly.

"Mou… Why do you have to do that anyway?" Rin pouted.

"I told you already I'll protect all of you, right?"

Rin nodded happily. "Yes, you did."

"Anyway, where is Ruri?" Kirihito asked.

"She's just outside the harbor." Rin answered, pointing at the direction.

"Okay… I'm off now." Kirihito got up the couch.

"Don't stay out too late." Rin called, earning a nod from the black haired teen.

It was a cold night, the dark skies bearing a few twinkling stars. Ruri was watching the stars and the city for some reason.

"Ruri."

At calling her name, Ruri immediately glanced over her shoulders, her eyes falling on the black haired teen.

"Kirihito!" Ruri said in concern as she approached Kirihito. "You are awake?"

"Yeah. I'm awake and sorry for worrying you." Kirihito apologized.

"No. It's okay and I accept your apologies." Ruri said.

"So, uh what are you doing out here?" he asked.

"Well, I'm just enjoying the night." she responded with a small smile on her face, before she closer to him.

Kirihito blushed nervously. "R-Ruri?"

"Kirihito, there's something else that I wanted to say." Ruri said in serious with a determine look on her face.

"Sure." Kirihito nodded.

Ruri exhaled deeply as she gazed directly into his eyes, then she continued and said.

"Can we be friends… Kirihito?"

Hearing this question, Kirihito gaped open his mouth in surprise.

"What are you talking about? Ruri, we are already friends a moment."

"Eh? When did I become friends with you, Kirihito?" She said in surprise.

"Uh, I don't know to give you an answer right now. All I know when I was in your dream or in Academia… I saved you and Rin, and then we become friends very early." He chuckled weakly, rubbing the back of his head.

At hearing his answer, Ruri exhaled deeply.

"Well, in that case. Kirihito, you… gave us a ray of hope and protected me and Rin… that's what I want most, so surely, you…" She smiled shyly.

"Eh? What are you-"

Kirihito was about ask but Ruri approached his face, then giving him a mere instant kiss between lips, after that broke apart, and they looked each other while pouring their feelings for each other into it.
