Chapter 1: A New Journey!
Hey readers! I'm back! This is the remake of The Dragon Lord Duelist: The Dragon Emperor Duelist! Change from the third person to first person, a different Deck, and all. Anyway, Lets enjoy the show!
"And.. it's done." I said as I write the last equation on my text book.
Oh yeah.. Hi! My name is Kalin Fredrick and I'm a 16 years old high school student and a Yu-Gi-Oh! Fans! I enjoy playing it online with friends on EDOPro but not everyday because our activities. I live in small apartement with one bedroom, kitchen, dining room and restroom.
I sat on my bed and looked at the time, 10.00 PM.
"I guess I'd still had time to watched the last episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V." I said as I opened my laptop and started watching it on GogoAnime. After watching it I sighed in dissapointment. I mean come on! 6/8 protagonists died, Yuya being a Action Card spammer and Kurosaki losing his best friend and sister and he's okay with it! Hell, Arc-V ending is the worst in Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchise ever.
I put my laptop back to my desk and I took up my Deck. My Deck is Felgrand Dragon Deck. I took my Ace Monster, Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand.
'If I can Summon them like in anime, that would be awesome..' I thought hopely. But it seem impossible.
But then something unexpected happen. Felgrand was roaring at me.
'What was that ? Oh, maybe just my imagination..' I thought as suddenly, my Deck began to shone very brightly, causing me to covered my eyes.
"What the hell is happening ?!" And after that I'm losing my consciousness.
Arc-V - Standard Dimension
I woke up in some sort of park, I slowly stand up and I getting shocked because the people passing me had anime eyes!
'Wait.. have I sent to another world.. ?' I thought as I felt a weight on my right hand and see a yellow Duel Disk from Arc-V.
I realized that my hands had grey long gloves, I don't recall I had any! I also felt my hair is longer than what I actually was so I decided to checked the near the fountain on the park to see my reflection and like I thought I looked different.
I had a blonde hair and has wing-shaped extension as a part of my hair. I also wears long golden earring on the left side of my hair, attached to a smaller wing. I also wears white pants and a white, long-sleeved shirt underneath a gray vest with long gray gloves, both of which have wings. I also had a Deck holster on my belt.
'Wait a minutes..'
At the exception on my eyes, who were black, I looked like.. Oh my god..
'I'M MIZAEL!' Mizael was my favorite character on Zexal, along with Kaito and Shark. Now his flesh was on me now. "Relax.. it's just a bad dream.. you will wake up soon.."
"I can assure you it's not a dream, friend." Said a very masculine voice.
"Wait, who's that ?" I checked around me and saw nobody was talking to me. "Just great.. now I heard a voice too.. I think I'm starting to become crazy.."
"No, you're not crazy.. check out your Deck.." Responded the voice. I obeyed and saw Felgrand was a little glowing before a spirit appeared in front of me.
"Hello young master."
I jumped in surprise before realized that I can talk with Duel Monster spirit! And spirit of my favorite Monster was before me!
"Felgrand.. ?"
"Yeah, it's me. I know you have a lot of question in mind and sorry if we couldn't meet in better circumstances but I thought it would be better if you already aware of us."
"Us ?" I asked.
"Greeting, young master." A white dragon with piercing blue eyes appeared next into Felgrand.
"Wait, Blue-Eyes ? Does that means.." I said before Felgrand continued.
"It seems that when you got into this world, you have been given the body of Mizael but with your own Deck. Also you got ability to communicate with Duel Monster spirit."
"Whoa.."
"You can ask question if you want."
"Okay.. just what happened ? how can I enter the Yu-Gi-Oh world, in the body of Mizael ?!"
"It seems that something or someone heard your wish and sent you here. However, I know in which reality we arrived."
"So you can tell me ?"
"Well, you are in.." Blue-Eyes began to said before I heard a loud angry voice.
"YUYA GET BACK HERE!" A young girl with blue-eyes and dark pink hair which her hair tied up in pigtails and clipped down by blue spherical hair clips. She chased a boy with paper fan on her hand.
A young boy with crimson eyes and dual-colored red and green hair which looked like "tomato" as he continued ran away from the anger of the young girl while three kids were just walking and watching them like everyday thing.
"No needed. You already know." Blue-Eyes said before he and Felgrand vanished.
"Come on Yuzu! It was an accident!" He turned his head around look at the girl with sincerity.
Yuzu growled angrily but she snapped out of her rage when she realized Yuya was about to bump someone. "Yuya! Watch out!" But it was too late.
"What the.." I turned around and tried to dodge but it was too late. The boy was crashing with me, causing my Deck scattered on the floor.
BUMP
Yuzu gasped in horror before she went to Yuya along with the three kids. "Yuya, all you alright ?" Yuzu asked worriedly.
"I'm okay." Yuya said. He stood up from the ground and then wipped himself until he turning to me.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." Yuya said with guilty face before reached out his hand to me.
"It's okay. You don't need to apologize to me." I said to him before slowly opening my eyes. Seeing Yuya and Yuzu in front of me, I was in Arc-V. And judging by the way they act, I was in early of the series. I accepted the hand reached to me and got up.
"Excuse me Mister." A red haired girl shyly approached me with my Deck in her hand. "You dropped these."
"Thank you." I thanked her as I took my Deck back in my jacket before giving her a smile.
Hey, are you a duelist ?" Asked Yuya aloud as Yuzu and the kids gasped in surprise. "Can we know your name ?"
"I am. My name is Kalin Fredrick." I introduced myself.
"Okay, Kalin. I'm Yuya Sakaki." Yuya said. with smile on his face.
"I'm Yuzu Hiragi. It's nice to meet you." Yuzu bowed.
"My name is Tatsuya." A blue haired boy named Tatsuya said.
"I'm Ayu! I hope we can be friends!" A red haired girl named Ayu exclaimed happily.
"And I'm Futhosi, I like to say shivers a lot!" The chubby boy named Futhosi said in excitement.
'Still creepy for me..' I thought to myself. "Nice to meet you everyone." I said.
"So Kalin, seems you're new here, are you perhaps out of town ?" Yuzu asked.
"Yes, I recently arrived here." I answered.
"Really ? What brings you to Maiami City ?" Yuzu asked.
"Well.. For two years, I was traveling around the world. Traveling alone is a bit exhausting and I decided to stay in Maiami City. Plus, I heard Maiami Championship will be held soon so I thought it was worth to stay and take part of that tournament." I explained.
"Awesome! We also want to qualify too!" Yuya said in exitement, before he asked another question. "Hey Kalin, are you by any change part of a Duel School ?"
Before I could answer, Yuzu was hit Yuya's head with paper fan.
"Yuya! Don't be rude! You can't ask that kind of question to the people you just met!" Yuzu yelled in embarrassment.
'Where the hell she keep that paper fan ?' I thought to myself.
"It's okay Yuzu. It doesn't bother me at all." I told her before answer Yuya's question. "Back to your question Yuya, I'm not affiliated with any Duel School, I didn't even think to joining one."
"Why don't you come to You Show Duel School ? It's a good place where we learn how to be entertainer and fun."
"Fun, huh ?" I thought to myself. I still can't believe it how he managed to keep his Dueling philosophy and having fun after the whole war things and Zarc.
"I don't know.. I don't think my Deck is made for entertaiment.."
"Nonsense! I'm sure you can still entertain people no matter what your Deck is!" Yuya added.
"Well.."
Before I could answer, I was interupped by a loud, angry and annoying voice coming from behind.
"SAKAKI YUYA!" A loud sound coming from behind us made us turned around. Only to see a Sawatari and his three underlings.
"That jerk again." Yuzu groaned angrily.
"What do you want now, Sawatari ?" Yuya said in tired tone.
"If I remember correctly, this is after the fourth episode when Yuya defeated Sawatari after he stole his Pendulum Cards. And knowing Sawatari and his Kaiba sized ego, he couldn't accept that." I thought.
"You think you could beat Sawatari-san and run just like that ?!" First underlings said.
"Now, it's a revenge you punk!" Second underlings added.
"And you have no escape this time!" Third underlings added.
"That's right Sakaki Yuya! Now take your Deck out and settle this score once and for all!" Sawatari demanded arrogantly, pointing his finger at Yuya.
"Who is he ?" I asked. Obviously I know who he is, but to not make any suspicious, I still need to acting.
"It's Shingo Sawatari. He came from a duel school called LDS. He stole Yuya's card and gave him a trash cards that he called it. Also when he dueled Yuya, he decided to take our lives in danger." Yuzu explained disgustingly.
"Bastard.." I muttered angrily, obviously dislike how he treat his cards and harm children.
"Hey you four! You said you come from that tower called LDS ? and you're the top student ?" I asked as Sawatari and his underlings smirked and extending their chest, proud as peacock.
"Yes, that's right. Now, will you keep it coming ?"
"If you're top duelist at LDS, then their teaching skill is ridiculously low." I said in calm voice as Sawatari was growled in anger while You Show crew was laugh.
"What did you say ?! I'm Neo New Sawatari! The best student in LDS!"
I still can't believe this clown can make impressive move againts Zarc while the better Duelist like Sora, Kaito and Shun failed.
"Are you deaf ? I just called you a third rate Duelist, with a fourth rate Deck!" I said as You Show gang laughed when Sawatari and his goons tremble in anger.
"That's it! You're going down!" Underlings 3 said.
"Sawatari will defeated an amateur like you!" Underlings 2 added.
"Well he can always try, but I doubt he can stand a change againts me." I retorted.
As I placed my Deck on my Duel Disk, Yuya tried to stop me.
"Kalin, you don't have to do this for me. Just let me duel him since Sawatari is my problem." Yuya said with worried look on his face.
"Yeah. Yuya can defeated him easily." Yuzu added.
"Don't worry. I won't lose againts a amateur like him. Also, people who all bark and no bite must be taught a lesson." I reassured them as I activated my yellow Duel Disk and it produced a winged styled blade with a yellow outline. Sawatari was do the same and it produced angular blade with a green outline.
"You're going down Sawatari!" I told him confidently.
"Heh. I was planning to do the same!" He said to me.
The two Duelist shouted at the same time.
Duel!

"Well Mr. Confident, how about you go first ?" Sawatari Offered.
"If you insist. My turn!" I said as I draw my starter cards.
"I activate a spell Foolish Burial! I can sent one Monster from my Deck to Graveyard! I sent Eclipse Wyvern to Graveyard." I said as I sent Eclipse Wyvern to the Graveyard.
"Then Eclipse Wyvern's effect activates! If this card is sent to the Graveyard, I can banish Level 7 or higher LIGHT or DARK Monster from my Deck! I banish my Level 10 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon." I said as I banish Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my Deck.
"Then I set a Monster and set two cards facedown. Turn end." I councluded.

Sawatari: 4000 x5
Sawatari and his goones started to laughing, not knowing what I'm planning.
"That's it ? You talk big for that pathetic move. With that move, this will be a OTK for the great Sawatari!" He said as he stopped laughing.
"This pathetic move are enough to defeat an amateur like you." I said, making him grunted.
"Eh, is he really going to that move ?" Futoshi said in disbelief.
"It's Okay Futhosi. I think he just want to see his opponents move before doing a big move." Tatsuya explained.
"Tatsuya is right. This is only the beginning and we just have to watch and see." Yuya added.
"I will show you the perfect move! My turn! Draw!" Sawatari said cheerfully as he draw his card.
"If my opponent have 2 set card on the field, I can special summon Escher the Frost Vessel from my hand!"
Escher the Frost Vessel ( ATK 800/DEF 1000/Aqua/Water/LV 4 )
"And then I tributed Escher the Frost Vessel to Tribute Summon Mobius the Frost Monarch!"
Mobius the Frost Monarch ( ATK 2400/DEF 1000/Aqua/Water/LV 6 )
"Mobius effect activated! When this card is Tribute Summoned, I can destroy up to two spell/trap cards on the field, so say goodbye to your facedown cards! Freeze burst!"
A raging snowtrom suddenly appeared and destroy my two facedown cards.
"Oh no! His facedown cards is destroyed!" Ayu said worriedly.
"Not good.. not good at all." Yuya said nervously.
"Now, now, don't applause already. It's only getting started. I activate the spell card Double Summon! This card allow me to normal summoned once more! I tribute my Mobius the Frost Monarch to Tribute Summon Mobius the Mega Monarch!"
Mobius The Mega Monarch ( ATK 2800/DEF 1000/Aqua/Water/LV 8 )
Mobius dissapeared and the bulky version of himself appeared to the field. However, I inwardly laughing because he clearly doesn't know how to play Monarch!
"Normally I need 2 tributes to summon Mobius. But thanks to it's Effect, I can only use one tribute to summon it. And now it's time to battle! I use Mobius to attack your facedown! Imperial Charge!"
Some large ice spikes suddenly grow from Mobius Fist and charge to my Photon Thrasher.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn. What's that ? Realized that you can't defeated me ?" He said confidently. But I already have a word to replied that.
"You clearly are the worst Duelists I ever faced. If not the one of course." I told him.
"WHAT ?!"
"First, you stole Yuya's Pendulum Cards and gave him cards that you call trash. It's a disrespectful act. Second, you call it "trash" or "useless" because you clearly don't know how to use it. Every card has purpose as long as you use them in right way. And the last, you even dare to put children's life in danger, that's a crime and you know it."
Sawatari and his goons went silent into my statement while Yuya smiled when I said every card has purpose, Yuzu and the kids were satisfied at the four jerks silence.
"Anyway, it's my turn! Draw!" I declared as I draw my card.
Kalin: 4000 x1
Sawatari: 4000 x1
"Heh. Let's see if you can beat my 2800 ATK Mobius." He smirked arrogantly.
"Then let me show you. I activates Card of Demise! I draw until I have five cards on my hand but in the 5th Standby Phase I must sent all cards on my hand to Graveyard!" I declared as I draw five cards.

"Awesome! He got hand refreshment!" Yuya said in amazement.
"I activate a Spell Dragon Shrine! This card let me send one Dragon type from my Deck to Graveyard, and if that Monster is a Normal type, I can send another. I send Flamvell Guard which is Normal Monster and send Dragon Spirit of White to Graveyard!" I said as I send that two Monsters to Graveyard.
"I banish my LIGHT atributte Eclipse Wyvern to Special Summon Black Dragon Collapserpent!" I said as black, orange and blue dragon appear from the black hole on the field.
Black Dragon Collapserpent ( ATK 1800/DEF 1700/Dragon/Dark/LV 4 )
"And when Eclipse Wyvern was banished, I can add back Red-Eyes back to my hand! After that, I banish Black Dragon Collapserpent to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!" A huge metallic dragon with it's shining red eyes gleamed, roaring loudly on the field.
Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon ( ATK 2800/DEF 2400/Dragon/Dark/LV 10 )
"What ?! Red-Eyes ?!" Sawatari said in shocked.
"Kalin had a super rare card ?!" Yuya said in surprise.
I internally smile at Yuya antics, he didn't know how many times this card is reprinted.
"Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's effect activate! Once per Turn, I can Special Summon one Dragon type Monster from my Graveyard! Emerge! Dragon Spirit of White!" A white dragon with blue eyes appeared on the field.
Dragon Spirit of White ( ATK 2500/DEF 2000/Dragon/Light/LV 8 )
"Dragon Spirit of White can banish one of your Spell/Trap on the field! I banish your facedown! Spirit Cleansing!" Dragon Spirit of White shot it's white beam at Sawatari's facedown as it's vanished from the field.
"My facedown.. humph, but you still can't defeat me in this turn. Meaning I can destroy you on my next turn." Sawatari said smuggly.
"Always so confident huh ? But sorry there will be no next turn for you. I activate Polymerization!" I said as everyone widened their eyes in disbelief.
"What ?! Polymerization ?!" Sawatari said in disbelief.
"That means Kalin is a.." Yuya said in astonishment.
"Fusion Duelist." Yuzu finished, in the same state as Yuya.
"I fuse my Galaxy Serpent and Blue-Eyes White Dragon on my hand! Galaxy dragon and legendary dragon! Become one and awaken the ancient dragon that sleeping in the abyss! Fusion Summon! Rise! First of the Dragons!"
First of the Dragons ( ATK 2700/DEF 2000/Dragon/Dark/Fusion/LV 9 )
"First.. of the Dragons.." Yuya and Yuzu said in amazement.
"He also has Blue-Eyes ?!" Sawatari exclaimed in shock.
"Kalin's dragon is awesome!" The kids cheered.
LDS Control Room
"Sir, we've detected strong summoning method energy in Maiami City Park!" A man in a suit and sunglasses said.
Said a "President" is a young man with red glasses and red scarf, wears a blue long sleeved shirt along with long white pants and white shoes. His name is Akaba Reiji.
"What kind ?" Reiji responding as he pushing up his glasses.
"100% confirmed, It's Fusion sir!"
The young man eyes widened. "Get me the visual!"
"Yes, sir." A large screen revealed Sawatari and Kalin Dueling.
"What do we know.. about this Duelist who fight Sawatari ?" The president asked. His workers are searching and were quite shocked after the result.
"There is nothing on him, sir. The thing we found is that his name are Kalin Fredrick."
'Kalin Fredrick.. he's clearly not from here.. is he from Fusion Dimension ?' The President thought.
"Sir, what do we do about this.. new Duelist ?" His worker asked.
"We will observe him.. for now."
Back at the Duel
I couldn't believe my eyes. I Summoned one of my favorite Monsters! And not only that, he's standing beside me! It feels like dream come true.
"No.." Sawatari said, realize that my Monsters is enough to take him down.
"Battle! Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon attack Mobius! Inferno Hellfire Blast!" Red-Eyes shot his red fireball at Mobius who counter it with his ice spike as they destroyed.
"Now Dragon Spirit of White and First of the Dragons attack directly!" My two Monsters charged at Sawatari, make him beg for mercy.
"Wait..wait..wait..WAIT! Ahhhhhh!"
Sawatari yelled in pain as he flying to his underlings.
Kalin: 4000 x0 ( Winner )
Sawatari: 0 x1
"Sawatari-san!"
While Sawatari surrounding by his underlings, Yuzu, Yuya and three kids approached me.
"That was an impressive duel, Kalin." Yuzu said with a smile on his face.
I nodded before replied. "Thanks Yuzu."
"Tch! You just lucky!" Sawatari growled as he slowly getting up. "I will see you at Maiami Championship! Let's go guys!" Then Sawatari and his underlings leave the place.
"What a loser.." I said in disbelief.
"That's awesome duel Kalin! Why you didn't tell us you are an Fusion user ?" Yuya asked.
"You never asked." I said as he rubbed his head sheepishly.
"Kalin nii-chan, your Deck is awesome and your Fusion Monster is great!" Tatsuya said with stars in his eyes.
"Yes! They make me shivers!" Futhosi added.
"Kalin nii-chan, will you come and join our duel school ?" Ayu asked.
I hesitated for a little before nodded because the kids gave me puppy faces look, something that was impossible to say "no" to that face. Plus Yuya and Yuzu joined behind approving the idea.
"Fine, I will join, but I must see our school first then I make an desicion." I said.
"Yay!" Three kids said in excitement.
"Alright! Follow me!" Yuya exclaimed as he grapped my arms and dragging me across the park. Damn, for 14 years old boy, he's quite strong.
"Yuya! I can walk by myself!" He didn't heard me, in fact, he dragged me faster. I just hope that I don't get a heart attack.
