Chapter 2: It's Goblin Slaying Time

[You have entered the dungeon]

[conditions:]

[Slay all of the Goblins within the dungeon]

[Save the priestess]

[Dungeon rewards will be calculated and given when you clear the dungeon]

[Dungeon rewards vary depending on your performance]

Blinking my eyes from receiving the massive text blast, my eyes focus as I adjust into the light, or should I say the lack thereof. The dungeon is a natural cave with no lighting whatsoever. The only reason why I could see right now is because of my [Sniper] skill. Materializing a revolver, I hold it out close to me as I walk forward.

The dungeon's clear conditions are baffling me. Well, the part where I have to save this so-called Priestess' anyway. The slay all goblins part makes sense. Where would I even find the priestess?

What a weird dungeon. Anyway, theorizing about the dungeons isn't going to get me anyway, so I jog forward.

Ok, maybe walking alone in the dark through a creepy cave wasn't such a good idea. While I can indeed see things in the dark, It's like looking through night vision goggles. That is to say, everything is in shades of green. While I may not like it, I don't have anything better. Not that I can conjure up a continuous light source or anything.

While [flash bullet] can indeed bring in some light, it will only last a second so what's the point. Besides, the light will be too bright for anyone to see through anything anyway.

My footsteps echo throughout the cavern as I begin to count the minutes as they go by. Truthfully, I've been doing a bad job at counting because I kinda lost track already. A horrendous sound quickly snapped me out of my listless state.

"Aiiieeeee!" A terrified shriek echoed throughout the cave, coupled with the sound of grunts and shuffling.

"Kukukuku!"

"Kakakaka!"

Accompanied by a girl's terrified screams were the sounds of inhuman laughter.

Quickly, I run to the source of the noise, my senses on high alert, as if a switch has been flipped. It must have been the effects of my half-blood heritage helping me in battle. Squinting my eyes, I see four figures a couple meters in front of me. One appears to be a young girl with long hair and a staff of some sort. She had what I assume to be some sort of priestly robes as well as a hat that looks like a beret. She's fallen on the ground with an arrow sticking out of her shoulder. I can't help but feel that she looked familiar though. The next couple figures were something that could only be described as goblins. The goblins were skinny and covered in warts. They had green skin and pointed ears and a large crooked nose. Their bodies clothed in nothing but a dirty loincloth. The goblins were hunched over, two of them looked to be pinning something to the ground while the third one raised a dagger, preparing to strike whatever they were pinning down.

BANG

An inhuman sound reverberated throughout the cavern. The goblin that raised the dagger, now with a smoking hole in its head, slumped down like the lifeless corpse that it is.

As for me? I stood there with my gun raised, pointed at the goblin.

Its companions quickly went alert. One took up arms, a bow in hand as it aimed an arrow right at me.

With practiced movements, I adjust my aim. My hand swivels to the goblin with the bow, my gun trained right at him.

BANG

Another shot. Another attack from a weapon not of this world went straight through its shoulder, causing it to drop its bow in pain.

"Gah!" the goblin cried out in pain. The other goblin held a dagger in its hand and ran right at me.

BANG

BANG

Both shots whiz right past it. I wasn't used to its small stature and speed. In my past life, the only time you would fight something that small is when you're fighting a child soldier. That or just children in general, which I do not have experience in fighting by the way. Even with my small height, the goblin was still shorter than me. The goblin dashes and jumps up, its dagger raised high as it uses gravity to aid its attack.

I raise my gun.

BANG

The goblin falls with a low thud as its dagger clatters to the floor. A puddle of blood quickly forms around it as it fidgets and twitches. Its arm reaches forward, albeit slowly, as it tries to reach for the dagger once more.

BANG

With my gun trained down and fresh smoke leaving its barrel, the goblin stops moving.

The other goblin, the one that had a bow, after seeing that it was outmatched, quickly began to run for its life.

BANG

The goblin suddenly pauses with a hole where its heart should be, before falling to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut. I walk towards the two remaining figures on the ground, both being girls. One was the girl I first noticed a while ago and the second girl was the one that those goblins pinned to the ground. Her body was… I could say well-endowed. Hey breasts were definitely larger than mine, and she had short hair. Her clothes were ripped apart, exposing her bare chest for all to see. The only problem with her that I could find would be the bloody stab wound in her stomach.

The first girl looked to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. Hell, there's even piss leaking out of her. Well, not like I'm gonna point it out anyway. I suppose that's what watching your friend almost get raped by goblins will do to you. The second girl must have already been wounded before I got here.

I kneel down and take out one of my health potions and practically force feed the contents to her. After that's done, I turn to the other girl.

"Stay still." I say before I yanked the arrow out.

"Eep!" The girl yelped from my sudden action. A bad feeling swells up in me as I use [Observe] on her.

Current thoughts - Fear, Relief

So she's the priestess. Dammit, ok. She's poisoned. So that's why I got a bad feeling in my gut. My gaze then turns to the other girl lying on the ground. After using [Observe] I find out that she's a wizard and that she's been poisoned as well.

"Do you have a spell that can cure poison?" I ask her cautiously.

She quickly shook her head. Shit, this is bad. Using a healing potion probably wouldn't work, but I'll use that as a last resort if I can't figure out anything. How could I get an antidote? It's not like I can just go to the shop and buy one-

Akashia, can I access the shop while in the dungeon?

Since you're out of combat, I'll allow it, boss.

[Accessing the shop]

I scroll through the items, not even sparing a glance at the super cool expensive items that I can't afford. After a few seconds of scrolling, I notice the search bar and I quickly type 'Antidote' in it. While I say type, I actually just thought it in my head. The list changed into a list of various antidotes, from something that cures hydra venom to one that cures common colds.

I continue to scroll through the list until I find the item that I'm looking for.

[Antidote] Rating - Green

An antidote that cures poisons.

Cost: 10 pts

It's appearance is that of a green liquid in a small vial, sealed by a cork. When I bought the item, the following message appeared.

[Item has been transferred into your inventory]

So I have an inventory? That's good to know. How does it work though? Do I just need to think of what I want to take out and it will-

The antidote then materializes in my hands accompanied by white particles.

"That arrow was coated in poison. This should cure you." I say to the priestess as I uncork the vial.

The priestess takes the vial from my hands and proceeds to gulp it down in one fell swoop. As the priestess drinks the antidote, I turn to the wizard and force feed her the antidote. Using [Observe] on the two lets me sigh in relief when the [poisoned] conditions are nowhere to be found.

"Do you have other companions? How many enemies are there? Are there any other types of goblins?" I ask coldly, in a calculative tone.

Caught off guard, the priestess stammered a bit, but she managed to answer me.

"There should be at least a dozen of them." She stated. "There was a hobgoblin too…" When the topic of the hobgoblin came up, tears started to form in her eyes.

"There was a monk and a swordsman with us." She said while holding back tears. "But they..." She attempted to get her words out, but ended up only biting her lip.

"The monk! We have to save her!"

I only nod in response. Man, this scenario really looks familiar, but I can't put a finger on it. The wizard then began to stir, before shooting upright with her arms raised, her pupils narrowed and dilated.

"Ahhh!" she shrieked out in terror. With labored breaths, she looked at the priestess, at me, and then at her surroundings.

"Wha-what happened?! Where are the goblins?" The wizard asked in her panicked state.

Taking a hold of her shoulders, I look her directly in her eyes. Yes, her eyes. I'm definitely not using all my willpower to not stare at her chest! As cerulean blue eyes meet her… whatever color her eyes are, slowly, her breathing grows steady, and after a few more seconds I let her go. Seeing her mental condition improve, I answer her questions.

"To answer your questions in order, I'm here to hunt goblins. As for the goblins, well..." I gesture to the goblins corpses in the cavern.

"But before we do anything else, we're going to have to do something about that." I said with an extended finger pointing right at her almost naked body.

The wizard immediately blushed and covered her private areas with her arms.

Ignoring her actions, I begin to take off my jacket and shirt and I throw it to the girl, leaving my chest covered in nothing but my black sports bra.

"Wear these." I ordered her.

"But what about yo-" Whatever she was about to say was interrupted by a pair of black jeans.

"Wear those too." I say while ignoring both of their blushing faces.

Seriously, their blushing faces were just too cute.

[Relationship with Priestess +60 [40/100] for saving them from a fate worse than death]

[Relationship with Wizard +40 [75/100] for saving her from a fate worse than death]

[Relationship with Priestess +25 [65/100] for making her question her sexuality]

Eh? Uhm, Ok?

-Priestess-

Where did it go wrong?

It was supposed to be a simple goblin extermination quest. I tagged along with a trio of newbie adventurers, a swordsman, a monk, and a wizard. With my addition to the party, the trio became a quartet. A decently balanced party of adventurers at that.

So what happened? How did it all go so wrong?

The swordsman is dead. His sword hit the walls and ceiling of the small cave. He was then overrun and stabbed to death by a dozen goblins. The wizard managed to fire off one spell before a goblin took her wand and snapped it to fucking pieces. She was then held down and stabbed by one of them. It was only thanks to the efforts of the monk that I managed to carry the wizard out of there. Then there was the monk. Oh Gods, I didn't even want to imagine what those green bastards did to her. I didn't want to know what that fucking hobgoblin did after it came and beat her down into the ground. No, I didn't even need to imagine what they did to her, not when I saw that green fucker rip her clothes off.

And what did I do? I fucking ran. I ran away and left her to die. No matter how many times I apologized between breaths, it wouldn't change what I've done. I can't even convince myself that I did it to save the wizard because my own healing spells weren't working on her.

What good was a priestess who couldn't even heal a stab wound? I couldn't do anything to support my party, nor did I do anything.

Shit.

A glint in the darkness, and an arrow soars through and hits its mark. That mark being me, hitting me square in the shoulder and causing me to stumble and fall down on the ground.

Is this how I'm going to die? I ask myself. My mind then gets filled with the images of the monk with her clothing ripped apart, the hobgoblin mounting her.

Oh Gods no. Death would be a gift compared to that. My green assailants leisurely walk towards me and my downed companion. They smile and laugh sadistically as they go over to the wizard. One of the bastards took out a dagger and ripped her clothes off.

Oh Gods no.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Seeing the sight in front of me, with me unable to do anything, my bladder gave up on me as I pissed myself. It was then that I screamed.

"Aiiieeeee!"

The goblin's nose twitched, and then the trio of goblins proceeded to laugh in sadistic glee. Only cruelty can be seen within those inhuman eyes.

"Kukukuku!"

"Kakakaka!"

Their cacophony of laughter was then abruptly ended by an alien sound.

BANG

A hole appeared on the goblin's head.

That's when I saw her. A girl who looked younger than me wielding a bizarre weapon in her hand, dressed in all black. I swear I saw her eyes glowing a cold and icy blue as she took down the goblins one by one.

When she turned her gaze towards me and my companion, her gaze softened as she knelt down and treated our wounds.

After answering each other's questions, the wizard woke up in a panicked state. The girl calmed her down and then lent her her clothes to wear, which left her covered in nothing but her underwear.

I wasn't interested in girls before, but now? Between the sight of goblins ravaging my party member and the sight of the immaculate beauty in front of me, I might be now.

Her skin looked like porcelain. It didn't look like she had ever worked a day in her life, and yet her skills say otherwise. Next was her long and dark hair, which I can barely see in the darkness of the cave. Her eyes glowed a soft and yet icy blue, providing both a sense of comfort and danger.

Just by glancing towards the wizard, I can tell that she's thinking the same thing as I am.

Much to my disappointment, her body glows white and next she was clad in a peculiar set of clothing. Her clothing was strange, to say the least. Having to squint in the darkness, I can barely see that her clothing was in a color of a blend of brown, green, and a sandy yellow. Her helmet was in a strange design with it only covering the top and back of her head, leaving her face unprotected. She also wore what I can only assume to be black armor, but I don't know what material she used to make it.

I didn't even notice that the wizard was wearing the girl's clothes. Not only was there a height difference between the two, but between her and the wizard's chest sizes well, let's just say that her clothes were a tight fit for her.

I may or may not have seen a dangerous glint in the girl's eyes when she looked at the chest of the wizard. Nor did I notice azure flames of jealousy flickering within her eyes.

"You two can't see in the dark, can you?" The girl asked us while turning to look into the direction we came from.

"N-no, we can't. But I can cast light on my staff to provide us some light for a time." I answer briefly.

"Please do so."

At her words, I cast my spell.

"Oh merciful earth mother, please guide your people who are lost in the darkest night. [Holy Light]"

My staff glowed white. The light I cast is as bright as a torch, providing light for all of us. If I wanted to, I could have made the light blindingly bright, but I wouldn't have been able to maintain the light otherwise.

For a moment, I thought I saw her eyes widen when she saw us in the light, but perhaps I was mistaken.

She shook her head and turned to the Wizard. "Can you cast any spells?" Asked the girl.

The Wizard had a dark expression on her face. She was downcast and stayed silent for a bit before finally answering the girl.

"I can't right now. I need a wand to cast my spells."

If the girl looked disappointed at her answer, she didn't show it. She instead bent down and picked up a dagger which she handed over to the Wizard.

"Here, take this. It's better than being unarmed."

The Wizard nodded back when she took the dagger from her hands.

"I'm going to kill some goblins. What about the two of you?"

What about us?.. I'll be lying if I say that I don't want to run away. It would also be a lie to say that I'm not scared. But after all that had happened, all that I witnessed, knowing what might happen to my saviour if she were to fall to these goblins, I can't just leave her alone! I know that she's strong, but I thought me and my party were strong too but, well this is what happened. I'm going to help her kill the goblins and then I'm going to save the monk!

"I'll go with you!/Let me help!" I and the wizard both say in unison.

"Fumiko." Said the girl clad in strange clothing and armor.

We might have worn our confusion on our faces, because she explained what she said right away.

"That's my name. Fumiko Dark."

-Fumiko-

Oh my God I'm in Goblin Slayer. Are dungeons just going to lead me into other worlds now? You know what? Akashia don't answer that, I don't want to know.

I'll also Ignore how pretty and cute the two are. Seriously, the priestess is just adorable with her blonde hair and white priestly garbs. The Wizard on the other hand had a dangerous look with how tight my clothes looked on her. She did reassure me that her movement wasn't impeded, but I'm not going to take any chances. Huh? I'm just using that as an excuse to check her out? Whatever are you talking about?

Anyway, I need to ignore these desires of mine because of a couple of points. The first one being that the slightest distraction may end up with me dead, or worse, goblin rape. Something that I want to very much avoid. The second point is that… No, that's it actually. Just one point then.

These goblins are not to be underestimated. While goblins are usually the cliche trash mob that gets thrown the protagonist's way just to get killed, the goblins in goblin slayer are stupidly overpowered. They aren't exactly overpowered in the traditional sense, but instead it's due to their cunning and wit that they use against inexperienced adventurers that I call them overpowered. They're goblins, not idiots. They are weak, that's why they fight smart and dirty. They fight in groups, they surround you, they use poison, they basically use every advantage that they can get in order to win the battle and survive. That's why I'm absolutely not going to underestimate these guys.

Oh, also, I asked the Priestess about what spells she can cast. She can cast spells up to three times a day and the only two spells that she knows of are [Heal] and [Holy Light] and she's already used two spells today, so I'm having her hold off on that last spell just in case.

As for the wizard, she mainly uses the cantrip [Fire Bolt]. As for spells, she told me that she specializes in evocation spells and that she can cast spells up to two times a day before needing to take a short rest. Well, minor problem here, she can't cast any spells or cantrip because she doesn't have a wand. She told me that she can at least use a dagger, but I'm not really putting that much of my faith in her.

I halt our party's advance when I see the intersection in front of me. Meanwhile the priestess vomits at the sight of what was once the Swordsman, or at least his remains anyway while the Wizard gags.

There's this weird looking totem. The totem was a stick shaped into a cross, with two banners at the end of the horizontal stick and a skull with crossbones at the top of the cross.

"Can you shine that light over here?" I point over to the direction away from the totem.

The Priestess complied and she ran over, shining the light of her staff on the cave. To her and the Wizard's horror, their eyes bulged out when they saw the intersection before them.

"Your party got surrounded from the front and back by goblins." I state.

"You probably missed it since you were too focused on this" I gesture to the totem.

"How did..."

"The goblins came from this tunnel and flanked your party from behind. Speaking of, get behind me." I put the Priestess behind me while raising a protective arm in front of her. Raising my gun I aim into the darkness.

BANG

Thud

A goblin corpse falls down and comes into view. Blood began to gush out of its body, creating a crimson pool on the floor.

"You can see in the dark?" The Wizard asked me.

I flash her a smirk. "Yeah."

"You two stay close. We're going in." And with those words we further descend into the cavernous depths.

"That goblin must have been a lookout, which means the nest should just be further ahead."

And lo and behold, I saw half a dozen goblins. Six goblins, one hobgoblin, and a goblin shaman. That goblin shaman must be the leader of this little goblin nest.

Whispering, I say "The two of you, prepare yourselves. We're starting." Then with a steady aim, I raise my revolver and I shoot.

[Flash Bullet]

BANG

A magically enhanced bullet soared through the air, hitting its mark, piercing the goblin shaman right in its chest. Upon impact, the bullet exploded into a flash of light, painting the darkness of the cave with the light of day. The Priestess and Wizard behind me wince at the sudden brightness.

WIthout skipping a beat, I continue my assault.

BANG BANG BANG

Three bullets fly through the air, hitting one goblin in the chest, another goblin in its shoulder, and another goblin in the leg. The last two weren't fatal, but they collapsed on the ground in pain, taking them out of the fight.

The light from [Flash Bullet] receded and the goblins made their counter attack. With the hobgoblin as the vanguard and three goblins behind it, they dash up the cavernous terrain up to us.

"You two, fall back a bit." I say without even sparing the two behind me a glance while I unload my bullets on the hobgoblin.

BANG BANG BANG

I shot the hobgoblin in the chest but it didn't look like it pierced all the way into its heart. My next shot was blocked by its bulky arm which was as thick as a log. The third shot was aimed at its leg, hitting it at the thigh but if it slowed the hobgoblin down then it showed no signs of it.

The hobgoblin was bigger and stronger than its brethren. In fact, it was probably taller than most humans. That coupled with its bulky size and muscles made it a daunting foe to face as a beginner adventurer.

The shows now when it took three of my bullets in stride, ignoring its wounds despite the blood leaking out.

And now it has reached me. With its fist raised in the air, the hobgoblin threw it down with all its strength. It had a sadistic grin on its face as it swung its fist down in confidence, fully believing that the little girl in front of him would surely go down with just a punch.

The screams of terror of the two girls was music to the hobgoblin's ears. So distracted by its own euphoria it was that it didn't even notice that the hobgoblin didn't hit anything but empty air.

[Blink]

I used [Blink] and my field of view instantly changed. I blinked in the air behind the goblin. Before I could let gravity take a hold of me I placed cold steel at the back of the hobgoblin's head.

[Piercing Bullet]

BANG

A clean hole is made in the hobgoblin's head. My gun was aimed a bit downwards, so my bullet ended up digging itself into the ground. Landing gracefully, as gracefully as you can land after performing a maneuver like that anyway, I am met with the last three remaining goblins.

The first goblin thrust at me with its dagger. I sidestep and aimed my gun at its chest and fired.

BANG

I kick the dying goblin away from me, hitting the goblin behind it in the process. The second goblin thought that it was smart and attempted to flank me. It managed to get within stabbing distance, but before it could even raise its dagger, its eyes were met with the barrel of my revolver.

BANG

Ok gross. Brain grey goblin matter was splashed into my hands. I'm definitely taking a shower after this.

I walk over to the last goblin still on the ground. I stomp my boot on its hand, causing it to drop its dagger. Lifting my boot, I stomp down my boot once again, crashing it down on its chest.

"Gushaaa!" The goblin cried out in pain and spat out blood.

I bent down and dug the barrel of my gun on its forehead. Staring at it with cold eyes, I end its life.

BANG

"Haaa" Heaving a sigh, I get up and look over to my audience.

"Are you two good?" I ask them.

The Priestess and Wizard nodded so fast that it left afterimages.

Laughing to myself internally, I start walking into the goblin , I guess you can't call it a goblin nest anymore if there aren't any goblins.

"Let's go."

We entered a spacious cavern. There's a bunch of goblin corpses here and there. In the back of the cavern was a throne made of wood and bones. On this throne sat the body of the goblin shaman. I raised my revolver and I fired a shot.

BANG

"Gah!" The goblin shaman cried out in pain as another bullet impacted its chest. It got up and attempted to rush me, but after taking its third step it collapsed on the floor like a puppet with its string cut.

I lower my revolver, aiming it at its head.

BANG

The goblin shaman jolted one last time before finally stopping permanently.

"We can't be too sure now." I say to my party members with a tired smile.

The Wizard went and took care of the two goblins that survived my bullets thanks to my poor aim. She gave them a swift end courtesy of a dagger to the neck

"Monk!" The Priestess ran over to the naked body of the monk girl. Her eyes were glazed over and her tears still stained her face. Looking around the cavern I noticed that there were more bodies, all female. How many girls did these goblins take and… Oh Gods, this is really fucked. It's one thing watching the anime and it's another thing entirely seeing all this in real life. The worst part is that I feel nothing seeing all of this. Sure, I acknowledge that it is disgusting, but I don't actually feel disgusted. Heh, good ol'[Gamer's Mind] there at work.

"You're ok now. We're here, we're here." The Priestess said as she hugged the Monk in her arms tightly.

"Come on. We need to get these girls out of here." The Wizard said, trying to ignore the fact that she almost ended up as one of these girls.

"I have a job to finish first." I said while walking over to the makeshift throne. Kicking it down revealed a wooden door. The door wasn't really a door, it was more of a barricade really since the door wasn't attached to anything. Picking up the door and putting it aside showed an extra space filled with goblin children. It's really a good thing that I remembered this from the anime.

"Are you going to kill them?" The Priestess asked softly as she looked up to me.

"Yes." I answer bluntly.

"Even if they're children?" The Priestess continued to ask.

"These aren't children." I say while aiming my gun. "They're goblins."

BANG

The Priestess winced at the sound of the gunshots that echoed throughout the cave.

BANG BANG BANG

"She-she's right. They're just goblins." The Wizard said with a dark expression on her face.

BANG BANG

The cries of goblins mixed in with the sound of the weapon which brought them their swift end. Eventually, silence encompassed the cave when the final goblin fell.

-Priestess-

When we left the dungeon, The Wizard and I went to the adventurer's guild where we gave our report where the guild sent the villagers and the Monk to a local monastery where we hope that they may recover from this experience. As for the Swordsman, he was buried in the local cemetery. We don't know what happened to Fumiko. She just disappeared after we left the dungeon. I hope that we may see her again. I still have to thank her properly for saving us after all.

Currently, the Wizard and I are sitting in a local cafe. We ordered some food and drinks with the money we got from completing the goblin extermination quest.

"So what are you going to do now?" I ask the Wizard who hasn't even touched her drink yet.

"I don't know." The Wizard said with a blank look on her face.

With a sigh, she finally takes a sip from her drink.

"Haaa. I think I'm going to retire from being an adventurer." The Wizard said with a tired voice.

I could only nod at her words. After what happened with the goblins, I can't imagine anyone walking out of that experience mentally sound.

"If you're going to be retiring, then why don't you go with me?" A familiar voice said.

Despite only hearing that voice a few times, we both recognized it. We both turned and saw her. The one who introduced herself as Fumiko Dark and saved us from the goblins. She was still wearing those strange clothes and armor. Funny enough, the reason why people noticed her isn't because of her strange wear, but more so due to her beauty. I don't know why, but it's as though she looked more elegant and refined compared to when I first saw her in the dungeon. Maybe I just didn't notice given the situation at the time.

"Fumiko!" The Wizard and I both yelled at the same time.

Fumiko gave us a soft smile.

"How are you two holding up?" she asked.

I can only give a wry smile as an answer while the Wizard just shrugs.

"What do you mean 'go with you' Fumiko?" Asked the Wizard.

Fumiko shrugged at her inquiry.

"I'll take you back to my world."

The Wizard looked at Fumiko as if she grew another head. Yeah, to be fair I'm a bit skeptical too. I looked at Fumiko with my face tinged in concern.

"Your world?" She asks slowly.

"Yep. I mean come on, where do you think this weapon came from?" She said and she held up her weapon that she called a 'revolver'.

"Ok. So if you really came from another world, what brought you here?" I asked while the Wizard pinched the bridge of her nose as she tried to digest all this information.

"There are these things called dungeons in my world. They connect to other worlds. I go into these dungeons to kill whatever monsters are in them so that I can get stronger." She answered bluntly.

"Ok, but why take me?" The Wizard asked the hundred gold coin question.

Fumiko flinched at the question before her eyes darted away and as she scratched her cheek.

Ahem- She cleared her throat before taking a deep breath. She kept her eyes closed before she looked at the Wizard directly in her eyes. The atmosphere grew more serious and tense as she spoke.

"I have two reasons." She said while holding out two fingers. "The first reason is the rational reason while the second reason is my personal reason. Which do you want to hear first?"

The Wizard took a thinking position and pondered for a moment before answering her.

"The rational reason."

Fumiko nodded and took another breath.

"Back in my world, war is on the horizon and I need help." She said quickly.

The Wizard blinked once. Then twice.

"What?!"

"Don't fret, the war that I speak of won't happen if we succeed." Fumiko said as she waited for us to calm down.

"There's a bunch of heroes who are planning to go on a quest to stop the war before it begins. I plan on helping them on their quest, but I don't know if I can do it by myself." She continued.

"But what can we do?" The Wizard asked. "We can't even kill some stupid goblins." The Wizard said with tears forming in her eyes. Similarly, I keep my head down and stare at the ground.

The Wizard stopped her sniffling when Fumiko cupped her cheek and closed in on the Wizard. They were so close that the tips of their nose were almost touching. With a teasing smile she wiped the tears from her eyes using her index finger. She then gave the Wizard a sultry smile as she licked the Wizard's tears from her finger.

"It's a bit salty." She said with a chuckle.

"Ah-" The Wizard's jaw dropped open. Her mouth closed and opened like a fish gasping for air. Her face was dyed scarlet from embarrassment and...excitement? My face also heated up, and if I had a mirror then I would most likely see the tips of my ears dyed red. I looked at Fumiko with a sense of longing… And I stared daggers at the Wizard with a glare full of jealousy.

"Hahaha, are you two ok now?" She asked a question after laughing for a bit. Her laughter sounded so pretty, like music to my ears, to the point where it made my heart jump.

The Wizard was also vehemently blushing.

"The reason why I want your help is because the magic system that you guys use is different to the one that my world uses." She said as her playful tone changed and now had a more serious edge.

"Besides, it's not like you'll be fighting an army of monsters or anything. I just need someone to watch these two kids." She said while waving her hand.

"This offer goes to you as well, cutie." She winked at me as she said that, causing me to widen my eyes even more.

"Me?"

"Of course. We don't really have a healer." She said while scratching the back of her head.

"But what about the second reason? The personal reason?" The Wizard asked.

Fumiko nervously gulped as her eyes darted to the Wizard then to me.

She took a deep breath and slapped her cheeks. Afterwards she pumped her fists up, then she looked at us with a new resolve. It lasts for a few seconds before her face turns red and she looks down on the ground while laughing nervously.

The sight of this blushing Fumiko caused me to swoon and sigh. My heart was doing jumping jacks, and I can see that the Wizard is experiencing the same thing.

"Well, that, of course. You see..." She said nervously.

"Well, you two are… cute and so I wanted to go and ask..."

My face was flushed as she continued to speak. Don't tell me that it's what I think it is?! Actually, please be what I think it is!

"Would you… want to go on a date… with me?" She asked with a nervous smile, her face completely turned, suddenly taking interest in a nearby food cart.

Yep, at this point my heart exploded. My brain went kablamo. Oh my God she asked me out on a date!

"Wai-wait a minute, who are you asking out? Me or the Priestess?!" The Wizard asked, clearly flustered as she waved her hands in the air.

"Eh… that… Both of you?"

What she said took a minute to settle in for the both of us.

"Both of us?!" The Wizard and I both shouted in unison.

Fumiko nodded slowly. "Mm. Yeah."

The Wizard and I both turned to each other. We made eye contact as we had a mental conversation.

What do you think?

Isn't the answer obvious?

And with that we both smiled at each other before turning to Fumiko.

"Ok, I'll go out with you./Of course I want to date you!" the Wizard and I said in unison.

Fumiko beamed at us. Her smile was dazzling like the sun, I might have been blinded at the sight. Oh my God that smile. Huh? Why is everything blacking out? I suddenly feel very tired…

-Fumiko-

"She fainted from cuteness overload." The Wizard said seriously.

Eh?

"You-you have to take responsibility for this ok?!" The Wizard shouted while giving me a stern look. But given that she's blushing and fidgeting, I can't really take her seriously.

"Let's take her to where she's staying first ok? When she wakes up I'll ask her to pack her stuff and I'll take you to my world."

"Ri-right. Of course." The Wizard said while she pushed up her glasses. Apparently, she lost her original pair back in that goblin fiasco. Luckily, she kept a spare.

"Alright. Do you know where she's staying?"

She nods. "Yes, we're currently staying in the same inn. We're also sharing the room..."

"Alright. Let's go then. And scoop." I say as I carry the Priestess in my arms bridal style. I swear her eyes are just cartoony spirals right now.

Meanwhile the Wizard just stared at me longingly. Well, I'm not going to keep her unsatisfied.

I leaned in and kissed her cheek. Steam began to guch out her ears as her face turned red as her hair.

"Wha-what?!"

"Come on, let's go." I say while getting up.

"Ye-yes of course!" She stammered while getting up, though her movements were stiff. Laughing at my girlfriend(?)'s antics, I watch as she walks with both her right arm and right leg moving in sync. The same goes for her left arm and left leg.

When we finally get to the room, I set the Priestess down on the bed and go through what I gained from this dungeon.

-A few hours ago back in the goblin nest-

[You have leveled up to level 18!]

[You have unlocked the party system!]

[x2 people can be added to your party!]

[Leave the dungeon? y/n]

Oh my. That's a lot of rewards. So I got 50 pts. Adding that to my remaining 10 pts left over from when I bought those antidotes leaves me with 60 pts. I also got x5 gacha rolls, so that's fun. It is time for me to descend into gacha hell once more. Alright! I got new skills! [Healing Bullet] lets me heal people that I shoot! I don't really know how that works, but I can always chalk it up to magic. The next skill is [Flare Bullet] which can be summarized as an incendiary round. Pretty neat huh? As for the titles, [Village Hero] makes me welcome when I go to villages and small towns. Not only that, but people will treat me better too. With the next title [Goblin Slayer] it basically lets me fight and kill goblinoid type creatures better. The icing on the cake would be the x18 levels which I got. Thanks to that, my stats were boosted up by quite a margin. Here, take a look.

One thing that I had to read up a bit on was the [Party System]. So how it works is that I can choose people to add to my party. Doing so brings a bunch of benefits. To name a few, those in my party are able to experience a 'leveling up'. That means that they can get stronger by killing monsters. I can also turn on EXP sharing which would distribute the EXP one of us earns to the rest of the party. A party member can also view their party member's HP and MP so that they can keep track of their party member's status. I can also telepathically communicate with my party members, and vice versa. I won't be able to communicate with them if I'm too far though.

The two people that I can add to the party are the Priestess and the Wizard. To add someone to the party, a certain requirement has to be met. In order to add someone to the party, I need to have a relationship of at least 50 with the person that I'm trying to add to my party.

So with that out of the way, it's time to roll!

[Rolling]

[Adrenaline Rush](Rare Skill)

You live for the adrenaline. You throw yourself into dangerous and life threatening situations just to feel the rush. Your stats rise by 1% for every second you're under the effects of adrenaline. The stat rise caps at 60%

[Noble Attitude](Uncommon Skill)

Your attitude and overall demeanor is that of a refined and elegant noble woman. You are well versed in the practices of nobles, and your actions reflect such.

[Poisoned Dagger](Common Item)

A magical iron dagger that secretes poison.

[A Suit and Tie](Uncommon Skin)

Something to be worn during a formal occasion. Dress to impress, as they say.

[Ghostly Gibus](Common Item)

An old and wrinkled top hat. It looks as though it is falling apart at the seams as its top is nearly ripped off. A ghost ornament can be seen hanging from the top. A haunting aura can be slightly felt emanating from the hat.

Oh come on, a Gibus?! Seriously?! That tf2 hat that everyone has?! What do I even do with this? Ugh. At least the dagger is good though. I might be able to wield a dagger in one hand and my revolver in the other. That was my plan when I took the [Dual Wielding] skill anyway. Speaking of good, that [Suit and Tie] skin will be handy in the upcoming school dance. Though I do like dresses, particularly those with a lot of frills, girls in suits really just do it for me. You can blame Helltaker for that. I'm not sure what I can do with [Noble Attitude] though, but it might prove itself useful if I ever need to act like a noble at some point. Probably when I meet a God or something which I quite frankly, don't want to do. Adrenaline rush is incredibly good. It's a straight up 60% boost to my stats given that my adrenaline lasts a minute. The only problem I can see with it is the part where it says "You throw yourself into life threatening situations just to feel the rush." I'm going to have to reign in that urge somehow. Dammit, that's definitely going to bite me in the ass later huh? I can totally see that coming.

After reading through everything I got, I let the two girls do their thing while I decided what I should do. I could just up and leave them behind, but I don't want to do that since I can add them to my party. If I did add them, then I would be able to bring them along in my little dungeon adventures and level them up into hopefully somewhat competent fighters. That and they're incredibly cute. Like, dammit, they're so cute. I need to at least try to get them to join me in my adventures before I leave them and this world behind. And so I hung back while the girls went to the adventurer's guild to make a report and do as adventurers do. I had to wait a while until I found both of them free. The two were sitting outside of a medieval style cafe, so I went over and shot my shot. After explaining where I came from and my reasons for wanting them to come with me, to my complete and utter surprise they actually agree, which is great for me. I plan on taking the girls into a dungeon where I can power level them when we have the time.

And now that leaves us back in the present.

-Present time-

I sat down cross-legged on the bed with my eyes closed, contemplating today's recent gains when I felt a warm presence sit itself on my lap. Opening my eyes, I am greeted with a pair of emerald green eyes and scarlet red hair.

"Hello." I say to the Wizard with a smile. The Wizard's face in turn glows a deep shade of red before falling back in a panic.

"So-sorry, I thought you were asleep." She said while adjusting her glasses.

"And if I was asleep, pray tell, what exactly were you planning to do?" I asked with a teasing grin. The Wizard merely turned the other cheek in shame.

My eyes lit up as I saw an opening. Taking the chance to attack, I lean into her and kiss her cheek.

"Wha-" Her eyes widened in surprise as her blush deepened. Before she could form any sentences, I went in again and her lips met mine. Our tongues danced and intertwined within the caverns of our mouths. The Wizard stiffened up, before she loosened up and closed her eyes, her body melting into mine. After a few seconds, we separated. The only thing that connected us was a thin silver thread. I gazed upon her with a sultry gaze. The flames of lust and desire flicker within my blue irises. We both took a few moments to gather out breaths.

"Was that what you were planning to do?" I asked her as I bit my lip. My question was met with a look of conflict from the Wizard before she palms her head with an exaggerated sigh.

"Haaa, Yes, I admit that I thought about it." She said while crossing her arms which only exaggerated her chest. "Were you alway this bold?"

I shrug at her while hugging my shoulders. "I'm bold when I want to be."

"I preferred it when you were a blushing mess." The Wizard stated as she gave me a fake glare. "In fact..." That was the only warning I got before she leaned in and lifted up my chin. Since I was shorter than her, the action wasn't awkward or clumsy. And in one fell swoop, she went in and kissed me. Once more, her tongue swirled around mine. We went at it until we had to pull ourselves apart before we ran out of breath.

"You know I...Haaa wanted to haa at least thank you properly before we did anything." She said in between bated breaths. "So...thank you. For saving us- saving me from… that." She flicked a lock of hair that was covering her face aside as she looked away bashfully.

"Well I accept your thanks. Now come here!" I wrap my hands around her waist and pull her closer. Gravity took hold as she fell on my body, causing the both of us to fall on the bed.

"Ah! Fumiko!" She cried out with a laugh.

She laid on top of me where we both just stared at one another. We froze as we gazed into each other's eyes before we erupted into a fit of giggles.

"Pfft!"

"Hahaha!"

When we finally stopped our giggling, she went down and gave me a quick kiss. It wasn't like our previous kisses, but it was good too.

"You know..." She began. Her mood has changed now, to something more somber. "I was told that I was a prodigy. That I had talent in my magic. But I couldn't even do anything back in that stupid cave." Tears began to form on her eyes. She quickly got up and wiped them away.

But when I opened my mouth to speak, she cut me off. "That's why I want to thank you. For asking me to use my skills to help you." A smile now formed on her face. "So that's why, once again, thank you."

While I wanted to say that there was no need to say thank you, her resolute gaze tells me to just shut up and accept it. Haaa, seriously, this girl. So instead I pulled her closer once more and held her in a hug.

Ahem a cough interrupted their moment. Both me and the Wizard turn our heads to see the Priestess sitting with her arms crossed. She looked mad, but the massive blush on her face said otherwise.

"I-I actually woke up a while ago you know? But you two kept kissing and I didn't want to interrupt you two. Then you guys just went on and on… then you two had a moment and-" The Priestess was completely flustered. She flailed her arms around, not noticing the figures of me or the Wizard slowly creeping up right next to her. By the time she noticed, it was too late.

"And- and- and- oh, hey?" Hey eyes rapidly darted from me to the Wizard. I snuck up on her right side and clung to her arm. The Wizard did the same on her left side.

"What are-"

Chu-

The Priestess was left speechless when I assaulted her right cheek with a kiss while the Wizard went to work and kissed her left cheek, leaving a very flustered and red Priestess. You could see steam coming out of her ears as her eyes turned to spirals before she once again fainted and fell back into her bed.

I and the Wizard both smiled at each other before erupting into laughter.
