Summary : Minato Aqua have the power of The Gamer. That's all there is to it!
Chapter 1 : Playing The Game
In a certain province in Japan, a cute shy girl lives with her family. This cute shy girl is an eighteen year old shut in.
This is Minato Aqua. She is a shut in due to her social anxiety.
It's a lot worse that her family let her stay on the house because of it.
Aqua is feeling guilty because of this, though she still can't cope up with her social anxiety and she doesn't have the courage to do it so she just stayed in her room.
She have just woken up. This should have been a normal thing. Wake up, wash herself, eat with her family, go back to her room, play games, eat dinner with family, and then sleep.
Now though, something is different. There is a weird floating panel in her eyes.

"... Hm?" She tilted her head in curiosity.
After taking awhile, the floating panel vanishes.
Aqua is confused about it. Though she thinks it was just her imagination so she decided to just move on and do her daily thing.

Aqua was just done washing herself and eating with her family. Now she was just going to her room.
Though, she kept being distracted by the messages appearing on her vision, telling her that she learned something everytime she did something.

'Am I going crazy?' She thought to herself while feeling anxious.
She got back to her room and then goes to her computer to boot it up.
"... Hm, well it doesn't really harm me. Maybe it'll go away after some time?" She told herself with an optimistic thought.
With that, she decided to just ignore whatever pops up next and play League of Epics to take her mind out of it.

After having a single session of LoE, she got a lot of pop up messages in her vision. It distracts her for a bit but she manage to win the battle despite the floating message disturbing her.
"What is this anyway!?" Aqua asks in an exasperated tone as she stares at the messages.
It was vanishing one-by-one but she have grown too curious to even ignore it. So she decided to see what's the meaning of this thing.
"... This looks like what an RPG character will have. Something like from Blade Arts Online." Aqua mutters to herself. "Then what if... I say it?" She thought in wonder.
If her suspicion is true, then she might have the power to improve herself. She thinks.
So she says the words that she longed to say. It was one of the things she wanted to say from her "List of things she wanted to do".
"Status!"
After saying that, the same panel that pops up in her eyes when she wakes up appeared in her vision once again.

"I have RPG powers!" She exclaimed in surprise.
Her mind suddenly goes through a lot of things. All of it being her delusions.
She can finally go around and become a protagonist like those light novels that she reads. She can have superpowers by just trying to learn it through her powers. She might be able to become famous around the world and have a lot of people willing to be her friends because of this.
"Right! What about the other things?" She said to herself as she says something next. "Menu!"
A list of options suddenly appeared in her vision after she says that.

Having read all of that honestly makes Aqua a bit nauseous. It also takes off all of her cheer after taking in all of that information.
She tries to process all the things that she reads. Then she tries some more.
It seems like she is having a hard time absorbing all of those knowledge in a moment. She decided to read all of it repeatedly until she finally understood what each of it's section meant.
By the way, it seems like this type of activity is pretty hard for her so her INT and WIS increases.

After discerning all of it, she have finally comprehended something that she should have realize awhile ago.
"This doesn't help me at all!" She whined in realization.
She have a social anxiety. It seems like there is nothing in her skill roster that will help her in this.
Which means that she can't even go outside. Even if she become famous, she would be too scared to even utter a single word from a lot of strangers. So that would be overwhelming for her if she was crowded by a lot of people.
Even thinking about it causes her to freeze on the spot. She is that shy towards strangers.
She can talk to people that she knows. She doesn't have any problem talking to her family. But when it comes to strangers, she always become too shy and will most likely become quiet because of it.
By the way, she learned a new skill when she imagined being crowded by people.

Even learning that skill though, this doesn't help her social anxiety.
She can only give up on her delusions.
"Haaa... I think I'll just stay in my room then..." She muttered to herself in a sad tone.
She felt guilty and sad once again. She knows she was becoming a burden to her family. Her family are understanding but she doesn't want to trouble them anymore.
But she can't help it. She doesn't know how to take care of her own problems. She can only try to communicate on the internet until she feels that she is confident enough to go outside and not be so shy that she won't be able to speak to the others.
She goes back to her computer to play games once again.
Even with the powers of the Gamer, it seems like she is still going to stay in her own daily routine.

A/N
So this is the second story idea that I have. Aqua becoming The Gamer!
As you can see, the Gamer's Body and the Gamer's Mind were not included in her skills.
That's because I don't want to turn her into a sociopath. I also can't just disregard the side effects of those skills if I ever decided to include it in her skills. Those skills will literally make her calm through any events, even if she saw the death of someone close to her. Gamer's Body will also mess with her character. She will be like those other Gamers who abuse their RPG Logic body to quickly become stronger.
You wouldn't want to see Aqua punching the ground or asphalt just to efficiently level up some skills and increase some of her status. You wouldn't want her to harm herself just to acquire resistances right?
I felt disturbed when I imagined Aqua hacking herself to near death while she was smiling just because it increases her status.
So Gamer's Body is also out.
In exchange, she doesn't have a level cap. It was much easier to acquire EXP. There are no Gamer System being a bastard to the MC. Something like those things.
About the skills that she acquired, you know that most Gamer fics out there loves to put a lot of skills that sounds the same and can do the same, with some slight difference. Gamer fics tends to put skills that will synergizes with their other skills, making them more OP than they should have been.
I am just trying to be true to those sources. Even if she knows how to do it (like breathing), she will still learn it as an ability because the Gamer System thinks it is.
It might not be useful in the future chapters. But that doesn't matter, this is a Gamer fic after all.
And then about the direction of this story.
I am thinking about focusing on the wholesomeness and taking off all of those dark and edgy plots that seems to be infesting the Gamer fics out there. I also don't want to make her jump through worlds to go on different franchises and mess with the canon in there.
I know it would be interesting to see her interacting with characters from the other series. But I think I can't pull it off.
The other Hololive Members will be introduced in this story. And I won't do what I did on Isekai Vtuber. No more of those very complicated plots and dark twists.
... Or that's my initial plan.
This is still an idea. I don't have anything else to put in this story. So I don't know if I'll every continue this or not. For now, I hope you have fun reading this chapter.
