Title : The Bond Surpassing Boundaries

Summary : Takamiya Reiji was abandoned in the forest after their group encountered a horde of monsters.

To make it worse, their school goddess Mizuki Junko, the one he have a crush with, just died due to their classmates abandoning them.

As the monsters tears up his body, he forces himself and reach out her cold dead hands, thinking about not letting her die alone in this place.

The only reprieve in his dying moments is that he will be together with the one he loves.

In another realm, an impossibility that can't meet at any circumstances have seen these two bodies as an appropriate vessel for them. To hide against those oppose to their will, they took the initiative and goes inside the two bodies being eaten by the monsters.

Two different pairs of beings, same purpose of life.

This is the story of the two opposite concepts bonding with each other, regardless of opposition.

Chapter 1 : The Beginning and The End

"Run!"
"B-but what about them!?"
"We can't do anything about it!"
"I don't want to die!"
"How come there is a monster horde near here!?"
"Leave them!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

It was what Takamiya Reiji heard as he laid on the floor, bleeding. He was also being bitten by the wolves that decided to stay so they can kill him.

Even as he screams in pain, he really can't do anything about it.

They're just supposed to come to this forest for their daily lesson. This forest is safe for students like them to venture so they can train their abilities.

This forest is part of the Soseikaho Academy and was maintained by the faculty members in a daily basis. They take care of the monster population manifesting on this forest to ensure that a monster horde didn't occur.

But when they came to this part of the forest, which is not that deep, the teacher in charge of the freshman of this year was instantly killed by a Redcap Goblin.

Then the other faculty members that were along with them for assurance were also killed by the other monsters.

They are just freshman. They still don't have enough experience to fight against these hordes of monsters.

They are already planning to run away but one of them decided to stand her ground.

Mizuki Junko. The top beauty of their class and also someone who have a strong sense of justice.

Being a brave person since youth, she have decided to risk her life and let others escape.

Junko is very popular. She is the idol of every person in their campus. A lot of seniors even asks her out because of her beauty. Though she rejects all of them without batting an eye.

But even with her strong charisma and popularity, no one wanted to risk their life just to help her. Their first instinct is to run away and save their own skin.

No one except Reiji.

Reiji admired Junko on the sidelines. Unlike Junko who was a beauty and also a genius among their class, Reiji is just a nobody.

Having been assessed with the ability rank of F, he became one of the bottom rankers. He can only look and admire Junko on the distance as she was lavished with praises and admiration of the class.

Junko is one of the freshman on the Star Section. He was sure that she won't even glance in his way due to the gap of their status.

But that doesn't mean he will lose interest with her. He admires her because she is someone who doesn't look down on anyone. She also tries and take care of her juniors whenever she have a time.

They are also neighbors. Though the gap in their family status is also very huge.

He knows she was a good person. One of his reasons why he likes her is because in the past, she even helped his family when they were on the brink of bankruptcy.

She didn't ask for any payment. She just help them because she wanted to do so.

So seeing her risking her life, the first thing he did is to stop and also try to help her.

Though because of his uncertainty, he didn't manage to step forward.

Even when he loves her, his body is still telling him to run away. Despite telling in his mind that he wants to help her, he was unconsciously scared of these threat. Thus causing his inaction to move at all.

This is why, even with Junko's powerful ability, she fell after being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of monsters in their surroundings.

It was also because of this sight that he moves to help her. Of course this is a futile effort.

Now he finds himself being eaten to death by the hordes of monsters.

He can't help but curse at his classmates internally. They didn't even hesitate to abandon.

But a small part of him can understand why would they do so. It really would be stupid to help them in this situation.

There is a large amount of monsters in this place. Some of the monsters in this horde are high ranking ones. These high ranking monsters can kill all of them if they even try to fight it.

So encountering multiple high ranking monsters is honestly terrifying for them. So it was normal for them to run at the first sight of them.

"Ggggghk! Dammit! Aaaaaaaa!"

Reiji endured all of the pain wracking in his body as the monsters tear into his guts. He forces himself to look at the prone form of the dead girl that he loves.

"I... won't... let you... become... alone..."

Reiji said in-between his pained grunts as he reached out to her unmoving form.

Even though his guts are spilling on the cold ground and his limbs being trampled by the monsters, he still forces himself to move using his mangled arms.

Though it only gave him a few inches, it is enough to reach the hand of the dead Junko.

Despite all the pain and the losing sensation of his senses, Reiji felt a bit satisfied because he manage to at least hold her hands and die along with her.

'I am sorry... for not being able to protect you...' He thought in bitterness. 'If there is a next life, I hope we meet each other again so I can protect you.'

That was his last thought as his grip became lax at her hands.

Normally, this would have been the end of it. A tragic event for the unsuspecting students. There are no more things to continue on.

But an unprecedented event is happening.

In another realm beyond any mortal comprehension, two being were running away.

The two incomprehensible beings were moving through the sea of cosmos, breaching dimensions and existences, passing through concepts and ideas, and phasing through abstracts and nothingness.

Chasing after them are these very concepts that made up of everything. Opposing their union in every way.

These two beings wanted to unite. They have fallen at each other.

But it can't be by the absolute natural law. These two are of opposite concepts. They cannot unite, they cannot bond, and they cannot love each other.

Everything opposes this union. The [FATE], the [REALITY], the [FANTASY], the [LAW], the [TIME], and every other things that made up everything and nothingness were opposed to this.

But the two won't hear any of it. Though they also didn't want to fight these many abstracts and concepts.

So they run. They run and try to hide from those who are chasing them and trying to separate them at each other.

At that time, they try to think using their own logic. How they can hide from things beyond any comprehension. How can they get out of their scope when everything is in their sight?

Then, the two of them heard the dying plea of Reiji. His wish to help the dead girl besides him. They also heard the dying plea of Junko, who seems to wish for everyone's safety and to have someone she can call a true friend.

In a moment that can be called an instant even from the Abstract and Conceptual Entities, the two beings made an action that can be translated for human comprehension as nodding at each other before they descended.

They have decided to use these two as their vessels. Become a part of the world of the mortals.

As the two mortals dies, these two beings claimed their bodies and make it their own.

In a way impossible to anything, their mangled and brutalize body were suddenly repaired instantly. Then something changes in and on their body.

Their hair color suddenly changes. Junko's black lustrous long hair slowly turned into a golden peach colored one that seems to glimmer even in the middle of the day. On Reiji, despite having a pure black hair, it turned into an obsidian colored one tinted in darkness.

The two of them opened their eyes. Their eyes, instead of their natural black colored ones, became something else. Reiji turned into a sapphire colored one while Junko became an amber colored one. Their eyes seems to be a bit human, like if someone stares at it they can see the universe.

The two stares at each other first while their hand are held at each other. They ignored the monsters gnawing and striking their bodies like it was nothing to them.

Then, they sit up and suddenly hugs each other. The totally ignored the monsters attacking them.

The monsters continues to try and kill them though. They didn't notice that the two are not affected by their strikes. In fact, they are the one being damaged anytime they attack the two of them.

When the goblins strike the back of the awakened Reiji, their clubs instantly turns into dist before those who also attacks him were turned into dust and crumbled to nothingness.

The wolves who tries to gnaw at Junko's face suddenly turned into ants.

A lot of things are happening to those who are attacking. When Reiji is being struck, those who strikes him will simply vanish or die through different means. When it was Junko, the monsters simply turned into other insignificant insects or microbes, also it was permanent.

Even the high ranking monsters like the Redcap Goblin, Dire Wolf Alpha, Orc Leader, Skeleton Knight, and many more decided to help their lesser compatriots and strikes through them.

They too were met with the same fate, either by crumbling to nonexistence or turning into an insignificant creature.

It took at least several minutes before only the lesser monsters remained. The two are still hugging each other and not letting go.

Despite the surreal sight of the two just hugging each other while sitting on the ground, the remaining monsters have finally become scared.

Their leaders were all killed and only the lesser mobs remained. They can't deal with these two people who seems to want to hug each other.

So the monsters decided to flee from the scene.

While this is happening, [REALITY] made a cursory glance on all of the mortal planes. It's glance passes through the two they are trying to separate.

After an instant of looking through infinite realities, [REALITY] decided that they are not there and look through the other realms and dimensions. He completely misses the two.

For him, it was impossible for the two of them to put themselves in a mortal world just to hide from the concepts.

Those two are the very definition of destruction and creation.

It's not like they will lower themselves to the mortal standards. It was too much even for them.

With this reasoning, [REALITY] left the mortal realities and look through the other abstract and conceptual dimensions.

Back on the two, they are elated to finally touch each other. Despite being in this mortal bodies, they are satisfied just by being close to each other.

Though, they don't know how to conduct themselves or how to express their feelings in this world other than being close. It was their only way to express their love to the world.

They stare at each other with eyes that outsiders will see as emotionless. Though for them they don't know how to express their emotions. Still, with just staring at each other, they instantly understand them.

Looking at each other is enough to understand what they are conveying. Words professing their love at each other, feelings of mutual confession, and other things were instantly conveyed through them.

They just want to be close. Because this is their only way of conveying how they love each other.

As this is happening, the faculty members and some senior students have just arrived to take care of the monster horde.

"What!?"

Though they are surprised when instead of seeing an army of monsters, they were met with the two bloodied students who are hugging each other without a care in the world.

They can only stare in a dumbfounded way at the surreality of this sight.

So I got busy because I got into an interview and I need to review a lot more for my second assessment. Passing this assessment will finally make me hired to the company.

So I am sorry for not being able to update my stories. I still need to focus on my life after all.

Now about why I posted this story.

You can see that it was all original. Well, this IS an original story.

This story section is where I put my story ideas, so I think it was fair to also put my original stories here.

Though, I hope a Japanese reader take this story and turn this into a light novel. I just wanted to see at least one of my stories become a light novel, and also hope it became an anime.

Pretty big of a dream huh?

I am fine even if I am not credited. So long as it became a light novel that will later on turn into an anime. I am fine with that!

Anyway, about the story.

As you see, the two are literal definitions of DESTRUCTION and CREATION.

This story's main concept is a what if two people became a vessel of these two incredible beings from the beyond.

Originally, this was supposed to be an Isekai one, where Reiji and Junko along with their classmates were transported to another world and after their class got cocky, they go deeper into some nearby forest and met with a monster horde, which led to them abandoning the two in fear of their life while Reiji and Junko perishes.

But after thinking about it for awhile, I think that turning this into an urban fantasy story will be a lot better than my original idea. So it turned out like this.

A lot of things will try and become an obstacle for their love. They also don't have any common sense being the literal definition of two universal concepts, so they will also grow as time passes.

This is my first time writing a Male MC. Most of the time, I write female MCs because I have an easy time writing when the MC is a girl. Well, a love story won't work without her partner after all.

I also don't want to turn this into a Yuri pairing. Just normal love.
