I do not own Loud House it belongs to Nickelodeon or Star Wars since it's own by Lucasflim and Disney.
An imperial escort consisting of three imperial cargo speeders and five troop carriers were going through the Mongolian desert. They were bringing in parts for the shield generator at the new outpost that was recently constructed on the other side of this desert.
By the pace they were going the lieutenant on duty judged that they should be at their destination at about one hour. Frankly the lieutenant thought that this was a waste of her time. The planet's military have been all but neutralize, plus these people were just primitive with their weapons, they were clearly no match for the empire.
The incident at the African outpost was unfortunate, but it was just a fluke. The empire will find those who were responsible for the attack, as well as the theft of valuable imperial weapons and when they do. They'll exterminate them like the scum they are.
Right now however, despite her distained of her current duty, she stood behind the divers of the lead transport, watching the sand dunes wiz past them.
"Time of arrival?"
"59 minutes lieutenant." One of the drivers replied.
"Good, the sooner were finish with this drop off, the sooner I can get back to something more important."
"Yes lieutenant."
The escort continued onwards through the Mongolian desert.
Laying against the sand dune, scorpion squad laid in wait for the escort that was suppose to pass through here. It took days of calculating the estimate time of arrival, listening in on imperial communications, and strategic planning to make the operation successful. This was a risky, but a worthwhile chance to get parts to build their own shields for the warships.
The operation plan was simple; wait for the escort to come in, then use the buried remote mines to destroy the troop carriers guarding the speeder bikes. Among the confusion they will come in guns blazing, and then they'll get the cargo, then head back to base with them.
It is an intense waiting game for the troop carriers were armed with two guns at the front, as well as a twin laser turret on the top. They also (as their names suggested), carry a handful of stormtroopers inside.
The Free Earth troops would also have to watch for the speeder bikes that carried the cargo. The bikes carried their own forward facing turrets on the bottom, plus they can go very fast if the drivers wanted to leave the area.
This was again risky, but if this was going to help free their planet, then it's worth the risk.
The troops continue to wait patiently, some readjusted their guns, others talked amongst themselves. The talks immediately stopped when the commander of the squad rose his hand up, after the talking stop they all heard a mechanical hum that was steadily getting closer.
The commander lifts up a pair of binoculars to his eyes. Through them he spots the side of the escort moving left, right towards the planted mines. The commander gives a steady signal, he waited as the escort got closer and closer to the ambush spot.
The escort gets to the spot, the commander immediately gives the signal to the one who's in charge of the explosives.
The lieutenant utterly jumped when the explosions rang out all around them. Alarms rang out from the console where the drivers frantically check the readouts.
"What's going on?!" The lieutenant called out.
"An attack lieutenant! We lost three troop carriers! One is damage, but operational!"
"And us?"
"No major damage madam!"
The lieutenant nodded satisfied on that answer for at least they can defend themselves from their unknown attackers. One of the troopers in the back now spoke up urgently. "Lieutenant! We have enemy troops approaching us from the west!"
"They must be after our cargo. Defend them! Don't let those scum reach our cargo." The lieutenant ordered.
The trooper nodded. "Yes madam!" The trooper quickly turned back to the rest of his squad. "Move out men! Neutralize the enemy!"
The troop carriers opened up, stormtroopers came pouring out with blasters at ready. They get into a defensive arc between the cargo and the enemy troops that are charging towards them with their own weapons raised.
The stormtroopers opened fire, three stormtroopers drop dead from enemy fire.
The Free Earth troops lost five members as they got on their stomachs. They fired back at the stormtroopers taking out three, sand flew skywards as blaster bolts skim around them.
On top of one of the troop carriers, the turret slowly turns to face them. "Look out!" One of the Free Earth troopers cried out.
The turret fired, several of the Free Earth troopers who didn't move fast enough, flew through the air and landed lifelessly on the sand.
"Take out that turret!" The commander ordered.
The turret moves and fires again, taking out another soldier. A Free Earth trooper carrying a rocket launcher gets in position and fires just before getting shot down by the stormtroopers. The rocket flies through the air, it destroys the turret upon impact.
The stormtroopers lost more troops, but so did the Free Earth members. One picks up a grenade and tosses it at a group of stormtroopers, the troopers noticed and ducked out the way, while one was too late as the grenade donated.
Meanwhile the other troop carrier which was burned from the bomb blast, struggled to turn it's turret that creaked and spark in protest. The turret finally gets in position, the turret prepared to fire when suddenly the troop carrier exploded in a fiery blaze.
The lieutenant looked at the sensor readouts in shock and disbelief, the other carrier was about to blow these pests away, but somehow it was destroyed.
"What happened?" She asked the driver.
"Three enemy aircrafts have arrive in battle lieutenant!" The driver replied.
The lieutenant looked out through driver viewport, from there she saw three Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopters coming in from the east. This is bad, they could handle a ground assault with some affordable casualties, but the enemy having air support with them, then this battle took a turn for the worst for her and her squad.
She needed to protect their cargo at all costs, and in order to do that those speeders needed to get out of here while her and her remaining troops kept the enemy busy.
She picks up a com and spoke into it. "Cargo speeder one!"
"Yes lieutenant?"
"Get you and your men out of here! We'll keep these vermin busy! Get going post haste!"
"Yes lieutenant."
With the arrival of the Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopters, the battle was quickly turning in the Free Earth soldiers favor. It was all part of the plan; while they came in from the West, the helicopters would come in through the east and take out the remaining threats.
The machine guns cut through exposed stormtroopers with ease, the remaining troopers took cover but now find themselves being picked off by the Free Earth soldiers.
One of the helicopters fired two missiles at the remaining troop carrier.
"Incoming missiles!" The driver shouted.
"Move forward! Move forward!" The lieutenant didn't get to complete her order as she was then engulfed by a fireball.
The troop carrier broke in half from the force of the explosion. The speeders took off quickly, leaving behind their destroyed escort.
"Their fleeing!" One of the soldiers called out.
"I got it!" Another called out, he pulled up a sniper rifle and looked into the lens, then fired a shot that killed one of the speeder drivers.
The other two speeders began to speed up, they didn't get far however as they suddenly found themselves being cut off by a helicopter with its guns trained on them.
Knowing better than to attempt an escape, the drivers rose their arms up in surrender. The two slowly get off their bikes and stood aside as the Free Earth soldiers approached them with their guns trained on them.
While some of the troops kept their guns on the driver's, the others brought the cargo into one of the Eurocopter UH-72 Lakota helicopter that brought them here. Once the last of the cargo was loaded into the copter, the troops loaded themselves in along with their prisoners.
The helicopters now fly in the direction towards the ship that was waiting for them at the Beijing coast. Overall despite the casualties they suffered during the attack, the operation went successful.
Back in Royal Woods; it had been days since Lynn was arrested and Lincoln blasted off into space. The Loud house felt a bit empty with its two residents gone.
The family sat in the living room feeling the loss of their kids/siblings, they just didn't feel complete without those two around.
"I never realized how less energetic this house is without Lynn and Lincoln being here." Lori stated.
"I know what you mean dude, it's not the same around here without a ball bouncing around or the sound of Lincoln turning a page on one of his comic books." Luna added.
"I wonder if Lynn's alright in that prison?" Leni exclaimed.
"What about Lincoln? He's out there somewhere in space." Lana said.
"I wouldn't worry, my rocket has enough oxygen to last for a week. The rocket also has a hyberdrive and food portions. Though he would have to watch out for dangers such as solar flares, gamma ray bursts, black holes, meteorites, and other hazards."
"Lisa" Rita called out.
"Yes mother?"
"Your not helping." Rita replied blankly.
"Oops, my apologies mother."
Lola now spoke up. "When is Lynn supposed to be released?" Lynn Sr. shrugged. "I don't know Lola, they didn't say. Which is rather odd as you think they would send a letter or something to inform us." He complained.
"Well judging by the charges she has against her. I say about five years." Lisa explained. Her family were shocked upon hearing that information.
Lynn may be a bit much at times, especially when it comes to her good luck rituals, competitiveness, and her smelly farts. Lynn is still family and certainly didn't deserve to rot in prison for five years, especially if it's run by the empire of all people.
They really hoped that she would be alright both physically and mentally. They also hoped that they themselves won't end up at that prison.
Lisa meanwhile was busy thinking about a rescue mission. She thought carefully about the planning stages to pull off such a rescue on a very secured prison, it needed to be very precise. If anything wasn't precisely thought over, well she didn't want to think about it.
Whatever she was going to do in order to save her sporty sister, she had to think about it for a while until a full fledge plan came to her.
Flip peaked from behind a washing machine, the security droids programed to watch them are looking the other way to the other prisoners. The droids make a humming sound as they hovered close to the ceiling.
Flip nodded to himself, then ducked himself behind the washing machine where Scoots is waiting for his report. "Well are they watching us?"
"No, those fancy, techy, robots of theirs are looking the other way." Flip stated.
Scoots smiled in satisfaction. "Good"
"So are we going to discuss the plan?" Flip asked earning a bump on the stomach from Scoot's elbow. "Keep your voice down you lummox. We don't want anyone to find out about the plan."
"Relax Scoots. No one well expect a thing, we are too smart for them." He gloated with a sneaky laugh.
"Oh I know about it." A voice called out.
Turning around the two saw Lynn leaning against the wall with a knowing smirk on her face. Flip instantly grew nervous upon seeing her, for this could be bad. "Lynn, what brings you here? Can't you see we're discussing about laundry." Flip let up a nervous smile, hoping that Lynn would by the lie.
"Give it a rest Flip. She obviously knows about our secret." Scoots called out.
Flip could utterly groan from this turn of events. "I suppose you're going to snitch on us?"
"Hey! I ain't no snitch!" Lynn stated as she proudly pointed to herself.
"Then what do you want?" Flip question.
"Simple, I want to join you guys." Lynn replied.
Flip and Scoots looked to each other for a bit, before looking back at the athlete.
"Forget it girl. This is a two way partnership." Scoots stated sternly. "Yeah, so get lost." Flip added as he does a shooing gesture.
Lynn figured that this is how it would turn out, so she had came up with a plan that will change their minds. "Oh ok, I understand. After all you need to be small in order not to draw in suspicion."
"Exactly!" Flip exclaimed, Lynn smiled for she had them on the first base. It was time to head for second base. "It's just that."
"Just what?" Scoots question suspiciously.
"It's just that it would be a shame that the guards or even the warden were to find out about your plan." Lynn explained innocently with her hands behind her back. Looking at the two Lynn knew that she got their full attention, time to get to third base.
"Who knows what could happen to you two if they find out? They might place you in solitary confinement again, or hit you with those electric-sticks of theirs, or worse execution." Lynn continued.
Flip and Scoots faces tighten in fear over the thought of those punishments they could face. Lynn knew that she had gotten to home base.
"Blackmail" Scoots stated before smiling. "Not bad kid."
"So how about it? Can I join you?" Lynn asked.
"I suppose so now, we can't have you snitching on us like that." Flip exclaimed.
"Great." Lynn went over to them. "So what's the big plan?"
"Ok" Scoots began. "As you two know, this prison is heavily secured with cameras, sensors, and those robots."
"Your point?" Flip asked.
"Well I noticed that they don't seem to guard the garbage carts that much." Scoots explained.
"Oh I see, the old hide in the garbage cart trick." Flip stated.
Scoots nodded. "Exactly, we hide in the garbage, wait for them to take it out, then we're out in sweet freedom."
"Then what? We can't exactly walk down the street." Lynn reminded.
"We are just going to have to hide in the wilderness for a couple of months or years give it a take." Scoots exclaimed.
"Another thing, how exactly are we going to get in the garbage cart?" Lynn question as she clearly knew that this escape plan wasn't going to be a walk in the ballpark.
"We'll have to wait until the guards are down to a skeleton crew. Which is usually at night, so we have to use that to our advantage."
"How are we going to get out of our cells?" Flip question.
Scoots shrugged, "I don't know yet, but I'll figure something out. Right now we should go back in the open before those robots notice were not there."
"When should we meet again?" Lynn asked.
"Lunch hour, at the far table." Scoots replied.
Flip and Lynn nodded in agreement, then they went back out in the open just as one of the security droids turned in their direction. Through its robotic vision it saw the three folding up towels, the droid lets out a series of satisfied beeps.
The admiral looked out bridge viewport of 'Crushing Sun' in satisfaction. He watched as various Ties fly above the star destroyer as they do their daily patrols, behind him he heard the sounds of the crew working on their assign duties.
"Admiral" A general called out.
The admiral turned around to face the general who patiently waited for the admiral to address him. "What is it general?"
"We have a report that an imperial escort in the Mongolian sector has not reached their destination."
The admiral rose his eyebrows up in interest. "What happen?"
"A reconnaissance team has found the remains of the troop carriers and the abandon speeder bikes that were carrying the cargo. We believe that it was an attack by the same people responsible for the theft of our weapons at the African Outpost, since we also found the bodies of unknown soldiers." The general informed.
The admiral places a hard on his chin as he thought of this. "What was in the cargo?"
"Shield parts sir."
The admiral thought about this very carefully. He has seen this before when he was station at Ryloth. When the residents of the planet raided imperial supplies, it was part of a rebellion that was a shore in the empire's side for years, and it still was from what he heard through broadcast channels.
If this was the same scenario, then he couldn't allow it to grow maturely, they needed to stomp it out post haste. "Alert all stations. Inform them to keep a eye out for anything that will raise an alarm." He ordered sternly.
The general nodded. "Yes sir."
"I also want to dispatch a couple of probe droids. If we can find these rebels hideout, then we can take them out before they can cause any real damage." The admiral added firmly.
The general nodded, then went off to do his orders. The admiral went back to look out the viewport, he looked at a neighboring star destroyer where a cargo shuttle could be seen leaving the bottom hanger.
In her bed; Lisa tossed and turned in her sleep as her brain continued to think of a way to save Lynn from the imperial prison.
Her/Lilly's room had been ransacked by the stormtroopers that searched around it. Lisa is thankful that they didn't find anything incriminating against her, though she was annoyed that she had to rearrange her things to the way they were, not mention patch up the ceiling from where the rocket launched through.
But with the room back to semi normal, the two youngest Louds could sleep in their room, instead of bunking in with one of their sisters.
Lisa suddenly woke up and sat up, her brain had just given her a genius idea that will free her sister. Getting out of bed, Lisa rushed to her desk where she switched on the light and began to draw out plans for her idea.
The commotion woke up Lily, curious on what her genius sister is doing, the baby gets up to get a better look. "Goo?"
Lisa turns to regard her. "Apologies for waking you up youngest sibling, but I just had an idea to help free Lynn, and I can't afford to pass it up."
Lilly wondered what that idea was? Lisa didn't say more however as she is too busy drawing up her idea.
