Weeks after all the events that lead to Luan being sent to Raven Wood Insane Asylum. Lincoln already made a full recover from the gunshot wound by this time. Lori was more than over excited for two reasons. One she was graduating from Fairway Golf University, and two she was finally tying the not with the love of her life, her fiancé Bobby Santiago. Like promised Carol Pingrey will be their maid of honor.
Not only that, But Lynn was finally graduating from high school. After being held back a year because of what happened to Lucy and even thing not including the whole Jake Hartwell incident. Lincoln helped her out during this whole ordeal. Though it wasn't easy for him with Lynn not being one of his most settle sisters, but with a lot of understanding and a little time Lincoln did help her with her problems and got her pass all the problems that held her back a year.
With two graduations and a wedding on the way the entire Loud family was busier that ever three big events in two weeks. Even the Casagrade's whom were marrying off Bobby to Lori were just as excited and just as busy as the Loud's were.
On the last few days before summer vacation Lincoln was sitting alone in the library when all of a sudden he was approached by his one sister who was graduating.
"Hey Link, How's it going?" Lynn asked
"I'm doing alright. I should be asking you the same question." Lincoln said
Perplexed Lynn asked. "What do you mean?"
Lincoln took a deep breath and explained. "Well, Your finally graduating from a school you were held back a year from. That same year we found out our own sister was a psychotic serial killer. Being related to a serial killer which resulting in a homicide detective breathing down our necks every time she killed someone. Then how I got shot by the same sister in an attempt to save that detectives life."
"You know Lincoln, I want you to know that you were always my brother. I thought long and hard about not just this past year but all the years we lived in the same house together." Lynn said as she looked down and tears began to form in her eyes. "I know I was never the beast sister for you, and many times I was downright…awful." Lincoln could tell that Lynn was on the verge tears. "I know it's been five years to the day since the whole… "Bad Luck."…incent and you've forgiving us for everything we've done to you in the past…But…Even after I was always running you in the dirt. I want you to know I've always loved you as you were." she finished
Lincoln go up placed hand on Lynn's shoulder and said. "I love you too sis."
With that Lynn threw her arms around Lincoln embracing him in a hug. Lincoln hugged her right back.
Later that day Lincoln was walking home from school when he passed his neighbor. Det. Roark's house. He saw Roark in the yard when he took notice of Lincoln. "Hey! Lincoln!" Roark called out.
As Lincoln was passing he thought he had the time to talk with the detective who investigated the murders his sister Luan committed was in his yard tending to his lawn.
"Hey Det. Roark." Lincoln called out.
"Please call me Harland." Harland insisted.
"Harland." Lincoln said.
"So I heard you have two sisters who are graduating and one who's getting married." Harland said.
"Well, Actually because of because both of my sisters are graduating at the same time were only have a party for the younger one." Lincoln said
"I already know. Your parents invited me to the wedding of the eldest." Harland said
Lincoln look down a bit worried.
"Is something wrong Lincoln." Harland asked
"No! I was just thinking about this past year and everything that has happened." Lincoln explained.
A very calm and understanding look came across Harland face. "You know if you have any problem I'm here for you. It's the very lease I can do to help out." He said.
"I'm fine Harland." Lincoln said
Harland Roark walked over to Lincoln, placed his hands on his shoulders, looked him in the eye and said. "Lincoln, you took a bullet for me and you saved my life. That is something I can never forget nor fully repay in any way."
Lincoln looked up to Harland and said. "It's alright Harland, You don't ow me anything."
"I life depth is something that should never be taken lightly." Harland said
"Thanks Harland." Lincoln said.
"I want you to know if you need any help at all anything, I'm here for you." Harland said.
Lincoln did have a lot on his mind at the time especially with the week ahead. Unfortunately Lynn's graduation from High School and Lori's Graduation from Fairway were both on the same day. The Loud family in Royal Wood's agreed to have Lynn's graduation celebration at the Royal Woods pavilion. As for Lori she'll be celebrating her graduation at the Casagrade's bodega in Great Lakes City. For Lynn Sr. and Rita having two of their children graduating on the same day it was going to be a hurtle. However Lisa did state that she'll be recording Lori's graduation and sending the recording to her parents. At the same time Lynn Sr., Rita, Lincoln, Lola, Lana, Lily, Harold, Howard, and Clyde McBride, Rusty, Zach, and Liam will be attending Lynn's Gradation at Royal Woods High.
The date of the Graduations came. Luna, Sam, Leni, Lisa. Lisa even set up a tablet with a recording to live stream Luan who was in the Raven Wood Insane Asylum. Albert (Pop-Pop), Myrtle (Gran-Gran) Bobby, Ronnie Anne, the rest of the Casagrande family and Carol Pingrey all were attending Lori's Graduation Ceremony at Fairway University. Meanwhile back in Royal Woods at the Gymnasium at Roya Woods High the rest of the Loud family were attending Lynn's graduation. After the opening ceremony were the school's principal gave a speech about the Graduates about life after Graduation and what to expect from either furthering their graduation in college or starting a new career. After the speech and all the graduating students lined up to receive their diplomas she began naming off students who were lined up handing out their diplomas. When the name. "Lynn Loud Jr." was called out the entire family was overjoyed. It was like they held their breaths for a full year and can finally exhale. As for Lynn she felt like she just completed a long marathon and can finally come to the end.
Meanwhile back at Fairway University were Lori was graduating from. After a long line of Fairway grads got their respective degrees from their respected fields. As soon as the professor called the name "Lori Loud" like other families they all shouted with excitement. Even Luan whom caught the attention of all the Doctors, Nurse Hand, Staff, and patrons at the Raven Wood Asylum. After she was approached by the staff there and asked her. "Luan what's so amusing?"
Luan was looking at the lap top with Lori's graduation ceremony being livestreamed. "My Big Sis just Graduated from Fairway." She said as she pointed to the laptop screen.
Meanwhile back in Royal Woods after Lynn's Graduation ceremony the entire Loud family present at the time including Lincoln and his friends all went down to "Spunky Pigeons" for the graduation celebration. The same place where years earlier they celebrated Lori's Graduation. After Graduating High School each of the Loud sisters celebrated at their own Locations. Luna celebrated her Graduation Day at "Bangers N' Mash" Luan celebrated her Graduation Day at "The Chortle Portal". And Lincoln of course who will be graduating next year plans on celebrating his Graduation Day at "Gus's Game N' Grub.".
As Lincoln sat with his friends and family he noticed Lynn and Clyde talking alone.
"So now that your moving on, I guess this will be goodbye?" Clyde said a little worried.
"I wounded say that." Lynn said
Clyde looked up to Lynn and said. "What do you mean?"
"Well its only a temporary 'Good Bye.' Not a permanent one. After all, If my eldest sister can keep a long distances relationship with her Boyfriend Bobby, If my Bro can keep the same relationship with his girlfriend Ronnie Anne. I don't see any reason why we can't keep the same relationship with each other in the same manner." Lynn explained.
Clyde face lite up. "So we'll be keeping in touch with each other?" he said
"Of Course, Through Zoom, and Skype, Long distance calls. And Of course you'll be seeing me on the weekend. Like I said it's only a temporary goodbye." Lynn said
Clyde did feel a sell of relief that his girlfriend will be keeping in touch with him throughout her stay at Fairway Sports University. The two with be together at one last gathering before the summer ends and the fall school semester begins.
One Month Later….
At Great Lakes City Michigan the entire Loud family drove down to meet the Casagrande's. Of Course this day was a special day for more reasons than one. After six whole years of being in a committed relationship with each other and four whole years of being engaged. Lori Loud and Bobby Santiago were finally getting married. Both families were at the Great Lakes City Cathedral were the two will be married. Lynn Sr. and Rita got in touch the Rev. Jonathan Roark Harland's brother. After a talk and getting to know Jonathan Lori and Bobby both agreed that he should marry the two.
Both Lori and Bobby were getting ready for the big day. The entire family was present minus Luan who was watching the wedding via livestream from Raven Wood Asylum. Albert (Pop-Pop) and Myrtle (Gran-Gran) were already there waiting for their granddaughter. The bride who was getting married.
"Hey How's My Granddaughter doing?" Albert said as Lori got out waring her wedding dress.
"I doing Great! Thanks for coming Pop-Pop." Lori said with trying to fight back tears.
"I'm so happy for my…" Albert start to say but at that moment a voice called out.
"Sgt. Thornton!"
Albert stood at attendance and slowly walking out in his walker accompanied by his son Harland Was Albert Commanding Officer and Harland's father. Colonel Hiram Roark.
"At Ease serge." Hiram said
By this time Lori did know who Harland Roark was, but she was unfamiliar with Harland father Hiram who was also Pop-Pop's commanding officer during the war.
"Do you know each other?" Lori asked
Harland stepped in and said. "My father was your grandfathers C.O. back in Nam."
"Colonel Hiram Roark, You must be Lori Loud. Sgt. Thornton told me so much about you." Hiram said
As Harland was helping his father get acquainted with the rest of the Loud family. Meanwhile in Harland's brother Jonathan was walking in the back room and he came across two people Lincoln told him about. They were his sister Luna and her wife Sam.
"Oh Hi, You must be Luna and Sam. Lincoln told me so much about you." Jonathan said.
Luna and Sam quickly noticed Rev. Jonathan Roark's Roman Collar and quickly caught on that he was a Christian Minister. Knowing how most Christian ministers see the GLBA and same sex marriage Luna and Sam wanted to avoid him but at the same time they didn't want to sound rude.
"Oh Hi." Luna said with a very uneasy tone.
"Is something wrong?" Rev. Jonathan asked.
"Oh nothing it's just that…you're a…you know?" Sam said
"A Christian Minister yes I am." Jonathan said
"Well Religious People Don't Seem to Like Our people if you know what I mean." Luna said
"What…Oh Is it because you two are Gay?" Jonathan asked
The two nodded their heads up and down signifying yes.
Jonathan just smiled and said. "Don't worry about it. I'm a progressive minister."
"Progressive Minister?" Sam asks
"Unlike most conventional Christian Ministers, Progressive ministers don't have any resentment towards Gays or Same-Sex-Marriage. In fact I am just as comfortable in weddings with two husbands as I am with a one husband and one wife." Jonathan explained.
This did get Luna and Sam's attention after a brief talk with Rev. Jonathan. They were also surprised about how he felt about gays and same sex marriage. After a while of talking Rev. Jonathan gotten to know Luna, and Sam very well and the three became best friends.
After a while the McBride family Harold, Howard, and Clyde came into the church. The three were quickly escorted to their seats. Soon afterwards the Casagrande family came in and they too were escorted to their seats. Maria Santiago went into the back room to check on her son. The man of the hour who was about to get married.
"Roberto, Are you alright?" Maria asked her son.
"I'm a little nervous, But I'm fine." Bobby said.
"I'm so proud of you son. I know your father would be proud of you too if he was here." Maria said
At that moment a voice called out from behind. "But I am here!"
The two turned their backs and notice a man in a black tux with a full beard. It was Arturo Santiago Bobby and Ronnie Anne's father.
"You think I'd miss out on my son's big day?" Arturo asked
"Well, you've missed out on his other events like his High School Graduation." Maria said
Because of his business, Arturo worked overseas in countries like Peru and Ecuador. He spent so much time away from his family but never the less Bobby and His mother were both surprised to see him in person.
"Now now, mom. This is a happy occasion Lets not ruin it with bitterness." Bobby said
"Your right son, Sorry I spoke out of turn."
As the Santiago family was getting ready for the big day. Meanwhile in the dining hall were the reception was going to take place. Rosa was preparing the food for the banquette after the wedding. Hector looked at all the food that was getting laid out. He wanted to take a bite but then Rosa came in.
"Na-Uh-Uh, You'll have to wait till after the ceremony just like everyone ells." Rosa said.
"Maybe I should only "Check them" to see if they aren't overcooked?" Hector asked
"Nice Try, But You know the Rules." Rosa said as she continued preparing for the dinner ahead.
Meanwhile in the upper part of the Cathedral were the wedding ceremony was about to take place. Lincoln and Clyde were walking around the cathedral just looking around when all of a sudden they were met by their two girlfriends.
"Hay Guys!" Ronnie Anne said
"Hay Lame-O's" Lynn said
"Lynn! Ronnie Anne!" Clyde said with surprise
"Of course we knew this day was coming." Lincoln said
"The day your sister got married to by brother." Ronnie Anne said
"It almost seemed like yesterday when I was only eleven and how Bobby would be the only thing my seventeen year old sister would talk about." Lincoln said reminiscing on his childhood.
"Yah Remember when me and Bobby first moved to Great Lakes City, and how I called you and Lori and try to talk them out of the move?" Ronnie Anne said
"Yah, I also remembered the time we came up for a visit and how you told your friends you were from another part of the city and not from Royal Woods." Lincoln pointed out.
Ronnie Anne Blushed with embarrassment. "Oh yah, I remembered that." Ronnie Anne said
At that moment the four were joined by another girl.
"Hey Guys" She said.
"Sid!" Ronnie Anne explained
"Sid Chang Is that you?" Lincoln asked.
"You know her?" Clyde asked
"This is Sid Chang one of Ronnie Anne's friends when she lived up here." Lincoln said
"Yep, me and Ronnie had many found memories from our time as neighbors." Sid said
As Ronnie Anne and Lincoln were reminiscing on the old days, at the Great Lakes City Cathedral office a call came in.
"Great Lakes City Cathedral!" The receptionist said
After a while the receptionist came out of the back office were she was taking calls. Looked around and noticed the large family, Well Large Families the Loud's the Casagrande's and all the guest they invited. She looked around and saw Lori standing in her white wedding dress. She took a deep breath.
"Excuse me? Are you with the Loud-Santiago Wedding by Reverend Kenneth Hopper?" she asked
"Yes that's the Minister who is marrying me to Bobby." Lori said
"I'm afraid I have some bad new. Reverend Kenneth was in a car accident and he will be un abele to attend your wedding." The receptionist said.
At that moment Lori was heartbroken and shattered. The one day she looked forward to her whole life. The one event that was she was looking forward to forever was not going to happen. Lori ran to the back room and began crying. Just before Lynn Sr. and Rita could ask her what was wrong the receptionist gave them the bad news.
For the first few seconds or so the Loud family and the Casagrande family believed that the wedding was canceled or at least post-pond at the very least. Until Rev. Jonathan heard about what happened. Immediately he ran into the room were the Loud family were, comforting a distraught Lori. As soon as the Loud family saw him in the room Rev. Jonathan Roark said "I understand the minister could not make it."
All thirteen members of the Loud family looked up at Rev. Jonathan. "We'll have to postpone if we don't have a Pastor who could Marry Lori and Bobby." Lynn Sr. said
"Lynn! You Do Have a Pastor who can marry the two!" Rev. Jonathan stated
"Who? Rev. Kenneth was in a car accident and he…." Before Lynn Sr. can finish Rev. Jonathan stated. "Me!"
He then pulled out his Bible and said. "Lori If you need a Minister to marry you I'll do it!"
Lori was now overjoyed that Jonathan Roark was going to save her and Bobby's wedding day,
Soon after the Casagrande family got word that the wedding was going on. Even both Harland and Hiram were both surprised that their son/brother Rev. Jonathan was stepping in and going to be marrying Lori and Bobby.
A half hour later Rev. Jonathan Roark dressed in a robes with a Bible in his hands was standing at the front of the alter. Bobby, his father Arturo, his cousin's Carl and C.J. where standing right next to him.
The Loud family and all their guest, The McBride's, The Sharp's and all the other friends and family from Royal Woods were sitting on one side of the Cathedral, The Casagrande family and all their guests, The Chang's, and all their friends and family from Great Lakes City were sitting on the other side of the Cathedral.
After a few minute the wedding march played on the church organ. Lynn Sr. began escorting his daughter down the ail to were Bobby was standing. Lynn Sr. being the father of the family was fighting back tears. He was now handing over his eldest daughter to get married to the love of her life.
After Lori was standing next to Bobby and the two were standing right in front of Rev. Jonathan Roark as soon as the wedding march finished playing Rev. Jonathan Roark began.
"Dearly Beloved We are gather today to witness the union of Roberto 'Bobby' Santiago, to Deloris 'Lori' Loud. In Holy Matrimony. As a union between two souls to share a life together, and now I understand that vows have been written."
Lori stood up first. "Bobby From the moment I first met you I knew you were my soulmate. You've swept me off my feet unlike any other boy in my high-school. When you first moved to Great Lake City I missed every moment of you when we were apart. When I've moved to Fairway and I've cherished every moment you've came for a visit. What I'm trying to say is that I love you and I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with you."
After Lori finished. Bobby stepped in. "Babe I will never forget our first date together, when we've went to 'Jon-Juan's French Mex Buffet.' I will never forget our two week anniversary, how we've spent it in the park together. I will also never forget all the times you drove up to Great Lakes City to visit me, and all the times I've drove down to Royal Woods to visit you. When you love someone the someone and you want them in your life everyday you'll never forget every moment you've spent with them."
After Bobby Finished Rev. Jonathan then asked the question. "If anyone for any reason has why theis two should not be married. Speak now or forever hold your peace."
The Cathedral was so silent you could hear a pin drop.
After a while Rev. Jonathan then said. "Then by the power invested in me by the state of Michigan I now pro-nouns you Husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
With that a thunderous applause filled the Cathedral were they were.
Even Lisa Loud was there with a lap-top Skyping Luan from the Raven Wood Insane Asylum were she was. At the Raven Wood Asylum Luan the sounds of the applauds and cheers from the Great Lakes City Cathedral can be heard. This attracted the attention of many of the staff.
"What Are You Watching!?" a staff member asked
"My Sister Just Got Married!" Luan said with tears in her eyes.
Everyone in the Raven Wood Asylum were just as proud for Luan's sister as was everyone in the Cathedral.
After the ceremony the Loud's, Casagrande's, and all the guest went down to the banquet hall for the wedding dinner. The rest of that day can be described as pure joy. Lori and Bobby were finally marred after a four year engagement and a six year relationship. As soon as the Dance music began both not only did Lori and Bobby take to the dance floor, but also Lincoln Ronnie Anne, as well as Clyde and Lynn. Both Luna and Sam watch as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were dancing together, as well as Harold and Howard as Clyde and Lynn were dancing together. Luna took out her cellphone and so did Harold. The two recorded the two teenage lovers dancing together then Luna and Harold posted the videos of Lincoln dancing with Ronnie Anne and Clyde Dancing with Lynn each with the captions.
(My Baby Is Growing Up!)
Of course after finding these video's later on Lincoln and Clyde will be embarrassed out of their minds. But for now they were enjoying themselves just like everyone ells in the reception.
