(Chapter 4: Monstrels and Aliens)
It was coming towards the end of August as Tsukune was so far finding his time at Youkai to go a lot more decently than expected, considering that with his using Grey Matter and on occasion Brainstorm he was able to easily cheese his way towards the top rankings of his class. On top of this, it seemed as though his killing off Saizou had done wonders for his reputation; considering that when word spread of him having seemingly obliterated Saizou, many saw him as someone not only powerful; but a contender as one of the strongest of the student body.
This also, unfortunately, came with the price of some of the more rowdy and battle-happy students to want to challenge him and test their luck against the guy who took out Saizou, something he didn't really care for since he was just focused on getting through his classes, and spending time with his newest and so far only friend in Moka..This was why, Tsukune was always on guard and at the ready should anyone try to test their luck and see if they could try to take him down.
(August 30th, 2017, Youkai Academy, 3:42 Pm)
It was quite a while after their final period for the day as both Tsukune and Moka were atop one of the buildings just chopping it up together, as they had since their first encounter.
"So I gotta ask, Moka. Since your a vampire and all, how come you gotta wear that cross on your neck? Doesn't that kind of stuff mess you guys up?" Tsukune questioned
"Oh, you mean my rosary?" Moka said as she looked down at her silver rosary
"Yeah. I mean I'm surprised it isn't burning you or something like that...I know you told me a lot of what goes on in T.V and stuff is fake. But I'm pretty sure holy stuff like that, still messes your kind up." Tsukune replied, surprised that Moka wasn't bursting into flames or at the very least in some form of pain
"Normally holy objects would hurt quite a lot. But this isn't a normal rosary. It's actually my limiter." Moka informed him of its true purpose
"Wait just a miinnute. You actually need a limiter? I mean no offense or anything, but you don't seem all that scary. Heck, you don't even look like you'd hurt a fly...Again, no offense or anything like that." Tsukune responded
"Actually, I need it to keep my powers sealed and more manageable. If I take it off, then my full powers come out and I turn into my true vampire form. When that happens, she's not as nice as I am." Moka told the Ultimatrix wielder who had a puzzled look on his face at that
"You're making it sound like you got a split personality in there." Tsukune spoke as the pinkette gave a bit of a bashful nod
"Welll..You are partially right. My true form is her own person. She is nice to me. But when she does come out, she's nothing short of terrifying." Moka replied as she continued to look down at the rosary that almost shined with a malevolent fury
"In fact, I'm pretty sure there isn't a monster form you have that would stand a chance if she got out." Moka added as the eye-like jewel of her rosary almost seemed to shift its gaze towards Tsukune
"I'll be the judge of that when it happens. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty sure I have something that could take her on if it came down to it...At least I hope." Tsukune responded with a bit of nervousness in his voice
"Still..., I'm sure that if I ever did meet her. That she'd see I'm not all bad." Tsukune spoke
"She may be rough around the edges. But if you two ever meet each other, I'm sure you would get along." Moka replied with a cheery grin on her face
"..That makes me feel a bit better." Tsukune said back
"But other than your superpowered alter-ego being a thing. How is everything else going?" Tsukune asked the pinkette
"Everything's gone great! The only thing I can think of that has given me trouble is one our classmates, but I'm sure its nothing major." Moka told Tsukune who narrowed his eyes
"Who is this person that's giving you trouble? Just say the word, Moka, and I will deal with them with a quickness." Tsukune questioned as to who this mystery person was
"T-Their name is Yukari, but I have it under control, Tsukune. So there's no need to be worried." Moka answered back, although Tsukune's eyes still remained their narrowed piercing gaze
"I'll take your word...for now. But the moment I get even a whiff that this is getting out of hand. Or if this starts affecting me for the worse. I am intervening as soon as possible." Tsukune told her
If there was one thing that he would not stand for, was Moka letting whoever this Yukari person was to walk all over her and let this problem devolve from something easily handled, to an utter and complete shitshow. Hence why the moment this started becoming a problem that was more than what Moka could handle and started to affect him; that he was stepping in and doing whatever he deemed necessary to nip it in the bud for good.
"Ok, Tsukune." Moka replied
"But besides, talking about that Yukari person who's giving you grief. Is there anything else you wanna talk about or share with me?" Tsukune asked
"I actually do have something I'd like to share with you, that's good news." Moka answered back
"What's the good news?" Tsukune wondered
"I finally got my medical books delivered to me. Now I can finally start getting on track towards studying to be a surgeon. Isn't that great?!" Moka informed Tsukune with an excited gleam in her large emerald eyes
"That's great news to hear, Moka. Up top!" Tsukune spoke as Moka both being taller than Tsukune and stronger than him had high-fived him into the ground hard enough to crack it
"Aaahhh, Tsukune! Are you ok?!" Moka asked the raven-haired teen
"Yeah...I'm fine...Did you get the number of that minivan though…" Tsukune groaned, his body aching from the unexpectedly strong high-five
"..Sorry. I forget that I'm stronger than you when your in human form." Moka apologized
"Its fine...Just try to watch it, alright." Tsukune said as he was helped up by Moka
"Again, I'm so sorry about it. I'll try to be more careful next time." Moka replied while Tsukune dusted himself off
"Your fine, Moka. How about we get some lunch, on me? That, ok with you?" Tsukune offered as Moka nodded
'Holy shit, she high-fives hard.' Tsukune mentally noted while the two began heading towards the cafeteria
(The next night later, 9:45 Pm, Youkai Academy, September 1st, 2017)
It was the following night later as Tsukune had done some flying around Youkai Academy as Jetray to both take a load off and clear his head, and just to enjoy the feeling of freedom he always got when flying as said alien.
'Man, flying around as Jetray is awesome!' Tsukune said to himself
"...Now if only I could unlock more of you guys, that would be awesome...I really hope I can unlock a monster one by next month, I could really use one to do some cool pranks." Tsukune added as he looked down at the Ultimatrix hopeful of all the future aliens he could eventually unlock
But the Ultimatrix wielders' thoughts were interrupted when he felt a presence quickly approaching him, with Tsukune quickly activating his shield generator that actually showed small cracks across its holographic frame when struck by the mystery assailant. With his mystery assailant leaping away as Tsukune quickly transformed into one of his aliens, the blinding flash of emerald light soon dying down to reveal the chosen alien.
With him having turned into a 10 foot tall, electric blue-eyed, dark pink skinned ape-like creature reminiscent of a cross between Sasquatch and a silverback gorilla, with stormy grey, pale yellow and bluish-grey fur covering its hulking broad-shouldered frame. His head hunched over his shoulders as he stood in a hunched gait, black lightning bolt marking covering his shoulders, forearms, hands, lower, legs and chest; in terms of clothing he wore a pair of dark green and jet black trunks while the Ultimatrix set on his right pectoral, this was the alien that Tsukune had coined as Boltfoot
The alien in question stared down at his opponent which was a young man in his teens who stood at 2 meters tall and built like an aspiring powerlifter, with tan-skinned, dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes. With him wearing black sweatpants and a grey t-shirt that seemed to strain against his muscular frame, and on his right ear was a bright silver earring in the shape of a Fluer-De-Lis, the assailant in question giving a crooked toothed grin towards Tsukune, before charging at him once again like a raging bull.
The Ultimatrix wielder as Boltfoot broke out into a run on all-fours and rushed at the mystery assailant at breakneck speeds while small forks of lightning began arcing off of him, the tan-skinned assailant launch a vicious overhand right at Boltfoot that the large ape-like alien was able to surprisingly leap over. All before unleashing an electrified backfist to the jaw of the mystery assailant with such force that it sent him sprawling across the schoolyard a good dozen feet away from him, the assailant chuckling madly as he gave a dark look towards the alien.
"What's goin' on here? I haven't done anything to anyone...except for Saizou and he was bein' a dick so he had that one coming." Boltfoot questioned in a minor Canadian accent
"The names' Kusabi Mido and you taking out my boy Saizou is one of the reasons I'm here to slug it out with you. The other one, is I want to see if your the real deal; or if your punk-ass got lucky." Kusabi told him with a cruel smirk on his face
"If we're gonna do this. Then we might as well get to it..I doubt you'll take no for an answer." Boltfoot spoke as the right side of Kusabi's body began to bulge and mutate
"Now we're talkin' get ready Aono. Because you're about to see what a real monster fight is like!" Kusabi roared as his t-shirt tore to shreds from the amount of engorged muscle forming on his body
The right side of his body being covered in a maroon-colored carapace that seemed to be made of hardened skin and muscle that looked like segmented armor, with his right arm having become roughly thrice its normal size and looked like something out of a Resident Evil game. Having turned into a massively clawed and heavily-built limb made of engorged muscle, armor-like flesh and claws that looked like they could rip through stone and steel in a single swipe, as the now harsh magenta-colored eyes of Kusabi locked onto him.
With the monstrel breaking out into an all-out sprint against Boltfoot that due to his now lopsided yet monstrous appearance would have made it look comical, if not for the potent amount of demonic energy that came radiating him. The ape-like alien decided to cover himself in arcs of golden lightning to meet the charge of the lopsided monster heading towards him, with the two eventually colliding with each other like a pair of runaway bullet trains.
The Gimlinopithecus immediately grabbed onto Kusabi's mutated arm and using his greater size and bulk proceeded to judo throw him onto the ground, before getting on top of him and proceeding to smash away at the smaller man with his colossal fists that were covered in lightning. Kusabi was forced to shell up against the continuous onslaught of punches that rained down on him, each blow cracking the ground beneath them and causing forks of electricity to burst forth upon each impact that scorched anything in sight.
It was what felt like minutes on end of being both violently electrocuted, as well as relentlessly ground and pounded that the battered monstrel summoned up his inhuman strength and threw the large alien off of him. His now smoking body was suffering from electrical burns across his face, torso, stomach and shoulders as well as large bruises from the bone-cracking punches and elbows that he had been relentlessly stricken by for nearly a minute and a half.
However, the moment that Kusabi rose to his feet he was immediately struck center mass by a bolt of electricity that nearly knocked him to his knees; with him being then blindsided by a tree that was covered in golden lightning which had been ripped from its roots. The mutated-looking monstrel had just enough time to recover from the attack, to raise his larger arm up to block an electrically powered flying knee from the Gimlinopithecus; the two locking onto each other in a brief yet fierce stalemate.
"Either stop this right now and call it a night, or I will continue to beat your ass. Your call." Boltfoot said as he deftly dodged and leapt his way out of the straights and haymakers Kusabi threw at him
"I'll call this a night when I snap your spine in half, and hang you up on campus as my fucking trophy. I wonder how that vampiric bitch will like it, when your in a wheelchair and I'm right their to cave her fucking face in." Kusabi retorted as the blue-eyed alien glared at him heavily
"...Yup.." Was Boltfoots' only reply
Which was followed by Boltfoot unleashing a vicious electricity shrouded chopping right to the left eye of the monstrel that knocked him headfirst into the ground, before he was grabbed by his right leg and flung like a human frisbee. Yet the Ultimatrix wielder was in close pursuit, running on all fours while electricity began to build up more and more power as forks of golden lightning arced off him as he started to rapidly close the distance against him.
So by the time Kusabi had managed to stop himself he was already beset upon by Boltfoot who delivered a vicious electricity-covered reverse roundhouse kick to the smaller monstrel's stomach; causing him to double over from the full force of the blow. All before a follow-through shovel hook knocked out a small score of Kusabi's teeth and sent him skidding across the courtyard, with Boltfoot quickly sending out a concussive burst of electricity after the monstrel; that impacted him like a speeding pickup truck.
The recovering and now smoking monstrel managed to finally land a solid blow against Boltfoot when he countered a right hook from the hulking alien and unleashed an almighty uppercut that sent him staggering back; cracking the 3 meters and some change tall aliens' teeth. With him managing to get off a short combination of punches that thudded against Boltfoots' stomach, the alien eventually caught his right arm when it struck him with a thunderous right cross and used this opportunity to begin electrocuting the monstrel.
Kusabi tried in vain to disengage from the Gimlinopithecus, yet it was in vain as the Ultimatrix wielder quickly used his greater size and bulk to wrap himself around the monstrel's massive right arm and put him into an armbar. From there he continued to use this as leverage to better ensure that the monstrel couldn't escape his electrocution, as well as his using this as an opportunity to disable Kusabi who bellowed and roared in pain and anger as he felt the bones in his right arm began to creak and groan.
With it taking not even half a minute before Boltfoot accomplished his goal and whilst electrocuting Kusabi, he'd also not only broke the mutated arm; he had also dislocated it, the limb now sagging at a considerably burned and shaking Kusabi.
"Son of a bit….Kusabi cursed before a jaw-breaking haymaker plowed into him
"Its about time I shut you up." Boltfoot spoke as he reared his fist back again
With the Ultimatrix wielder raining down punches that came at nothing short of full forth, with blood and spittle coming from Kusabi's mouth with each electrified punch, elbow or knee landed; every electrified blow causing Kusabi's warped visage to violently ripple from the impact. All the while Kusabi would go forth to strike down Boltfoot with a haymaker or brutal straight punch, but the hulking ape-like alien was far too agile and quick for him to land any meaningful blows before he was met with a lightning-covered one to the body.
Flashes of golden light from the furious onslaught of attacks launched by Boltfoot who despite a few bruises on his person was relatively fine in comparison to the bruised, battered and burnt Kusabi, who was panting and snarling in anger from being so thoroughly dominated. The monstrel hated the fact that what was supposed to be a fight where he would dominate Tsukune, had been turned into a nearly lopsided fight where the electrical ape-like creature was able to run roughshod over him.
The Gimlinopithecus in question after having unleashed yet another electrified knee that shattered the teeth in Kusabi's swollen jaw, before grabbing him by the chest and leaping into the air to deliver the equivalent to an incredibly electrified Seismic Toss. The ground cratering and buckling for the forth of the attack that sent forth a shockwave of pure force and electrical might that shredded the earth, yet as the smoke cleared from the crater; it soon revealed Boltfoot on top of a dazed and battered Kusabi.
Yet even though Boltfoot was able to have made this a clear win, he wasn't without his injuries in the form of one of his eyes having swollen shut from the punches from Kusabi as well a busted up nose and one if not two of his ribs having been cracked from the blows. Even so Boltfoot despite these injuries was able to continue to beat Kusabi into submission, having once again mounted himself on top of the monstrel to deliver a series of electrified punches to the side of his bruised and burnt skull, that looked more akin to raw meat than anything.
With Boltfoot quickly channeling as much power as he could into one last haymaker that on impact briefly illuminated the September night in a furious golden glow; that once it dissipated with the smell of ozone being nigh overbearing from the now 2 story deep crater in the ground. To reveal much to the relief of the Ultimatrix wielder that the heavily electrically burnt and unconscious Kusabi was lying as a violently twitching and seizing mess, his body eventually reverting back to its human form from the sustained amount of damage.
"...Finally its' over." Boltfoot said to himself as he clambered out of the crater
'I swear that was the toughest guy I've fought in a long time.' Boltfoot noted before turning back into his human form and walking back to his dorm room
Yet unknown to Tsukune someone had been watching his melee as Boltfoot against Kusabi, this person was a young woman wearing a black militaristic version of the academy uniform with deep mulberry purple hair and navy-colored eyes. With her approaching the crater and quickly unleashing tendrils of thick webbing to ensnare the unconscious form of Kusabi in a dense cocoon of webs; once she had him completely ensnared she then quickly reeled him out of the crater and began to carry him back with her.
"..Taking down a member of those disgusting monstrels. Kuyo will certainly want to hear about you, Tsukune Aono." Keito said to herself as she continued to haul Kusabi's unconscious form to their base
(2 days later, Youkai Academy, September 3rd, 2017, 1:45 Pm)
It was a few days later as Keito had soon informed her leader in Kuyo of Tsukune's encounter with Kusabi and suffice to say the kitsune was rather intrigued to hear of what had transpired.
"This is most interesting news, Keito." Kuyo spoke
"To think that one of the first years would not only have such power, but also one who is able to turn into multiple monster forms. Is certainly an interesting development we have in our midst." Kuyo added
"I agree. The fact that he was able to take down Kusabi by himself is no mean feat." Keito said knowing full well that Kusabi wasn't a lightweight by any means
"Now that being said. What do you wish to do about him?" Keito questioned
"That is simple. I wish to consider him as a possible recruit for the Committee." Kuyo told the jorogumo before him
"Really? Isn't it too soon to start recruiting this early?" Keito inquired
"Normally I'd say no. However, after our forces were reduced considerably after having dealt with Ginei last year. On top of having to deal with those bothersome monstrels. We are stretched considerably thin." Kuyo replied while Keito's looked down in acknowledgement
With the year prior, having been an especially devastating one to the Public Security Committee after their sundering those months ago, which had left them in a rather vulnerable state that had Kuyo and those that remained doing double time to try and more often than not fail to keep order in Youkai Academy's walls.
"Deshiko was never really the same after what happened." Keito remarked at the dour state of the once bubbly Jiang-Shi
"Can you truly blame her for being that way, Keito. After what Ginei did to her, I can't blame her for withdrawing from the academy." Kuyo replied as his fist unconsciously began to smoke and clench up at what had happened to her
"I honestly can't..How that disgusting dog is even allowed to be on campus grounds is beyond me." Keito said back in disgust
"That I do not know..the fact that he even is allowed to run that club in addition to remaining on campus still astounds me..Truly the Headmaster must be going senile to allow such things to happen." Kuyo spoke in seething hate for the lecherous werewolf
"Which is a reason why we need to start recruiting people like Aono quickly. Our academy is beginning to spiral into chaos..I can sense that much on the horizon." Kuyou added with a deep sense of foreboding in his voice
"If that is the case. Then why not wait until clubs begin recruiting new members. That will be the perfect time to begin looking for new recruits. Not only that, Kuyo. It will also allow us ample time to see more of Aono's capabilities." Keito suggested to the kitsune
"That sounds like a rather good idea. It would give us enough time to look over the potential prospects to add to the committee. In fact, that actually gives me a good idea." Kuyo said snapping his fingers at the idea he came up with
"I want you to be in charge of scouting out for our potential new recruits." Kuyo told the Jorogumo
"You want me to do this? Is there any particular reason why?" Keito asked, rather curious as to why the blonde kitsune would choose her
"The fact of the matter is that you are not only my right hand. You are also the best I have at moving through the campus unseen. Therefore you are the perfect person to choose for this task.. I'd rather not scare off any of our potential recruits." Kuyo answered back in seeing no one better suited for the task than Keito
"Fair enough, Kuyo. I won't argue with the logic there." Keito replied
"Although, I do have to ask you something concerning Aono." Keito added
"What might that be?" Kuyo spoke
"What exactly are your intentions with Aono beyond having him join us? Granted he would make for a wildly powerful addition to the Committee. But beyond that, what else do you have in mind for him?" Keito inquired as to what it was that the kitsune had in mind for the Ultimatrix wielder
"What I have in mind for him is something of a long shot if you will. One that will hopefully guarantee a better future for the committee as a whole." Kuyo told her with an utterly serious look on his face
"What do you have in mind for Tsukune Aono?" Keito asked once more
"To simply put, Keito. I plan to train him and guide him along the path of becoming my successor." Kuyo informed her of what his plans for Tsukune were
"May I ask why Aono, of all people, is chosen for this? It seems like an odd choice to pick for a successor." Keito inquired
"Not only is he powerful, Keito. In fact the potential power he has from what you reported and from the rumors of his devastating Saizo has spread around campus, is that he is an up and coming powerhouse. One who has the possible strength to be on par, if not supersede that of a S-class monster." Kuyo replied causing the jorogumo to be taken aback at the statement
"You can't be serious, can you? I'll admit that he's strong. But to possibly be above an S-Class monster sounds ludicrous." Keito said back almost flabbergasted at what Kuyo was insinuating
"I am deadly serious Keito. His potential is simply that great, and his track record against 2 students who are nothing to be trifled with, prove this point. Not only that but I can see it in him that he has what it takes to be my successor. I don't know what it is quite yet, but there is something within him that has that capability." Kuyo replied
With Kuyo not only seeing in Tsukune the immense power and potential that qualified him to be his successor as the leader of the Public Safety Committee, he also saw this inner fire and indomitable will within Tsukune to prove himself as something greater. The blonde kitsune knew that if he could get Tsukune onto the committee and guide and direct him towards putting that drive and inner fire towards preserving order at Youkai, that the committee would be far greater than what it was when he started those years ago.
"I would not being saying this unless I believed he was the one. However, I do agree that we must wait awhile longer before the move to recruit him is made. I wish to see more of what Aono is capable of, before I make my move in recruiting him onto our side." Kuyo told the jorogumo, the leader of said committee rather keen to see what the raven-haired freshman could do
"I will take your word for it, Kuyo. I just hope that when we pass this onto whoever we get to join us. That they will make sure this place is in better hands than what we left it." Keito said back in hopes that the next wave would be able to make Youkai a better place
"My thoughts exactly, Keito. However, if there is nothing else to say or report upon. Then you may take your leave and enjoy the day." Kuyo spoke to the jorogumo who reported a few more things to the kitsune
"...Before I leave. What are we to do about Kusabi? You and I both know how much of a flight risk he is, despite him being in one of our cells." Keito wondered before she walked out of the dungeons
"I will take care of him myself. He has been causing too much trouble for us, and it is high time I put an end to Kaneshiro's pet brute." Kuyo told her as one of his hands briefly ignited with bright blue flames
"Understood." Was Keito's only reply before leaving
'Alright, Tsukune Aono. Let's see just what you're capable of this coming year..You'd better not disappoint me, now that you have my interest.' Kuyo thought to himself with high interest in the Ultimatrix wielder
(4 and a half hours later, Youkai Academy, 6:09 Pm)
It was later on in the evening as both Hokuto and Kiria were in one of the rooms within the academy, discussing the events going forward after Kusabi's defeat at the hands of Tsukune.
"...So what do we do now that Kusabi is gone? No doubt he's more than likely being bled dry by Kuyo for information." Kiria questioned the leader of ANTI-THESIS
"First and foremost, we have nothing to worry about concerning Kusabi giving up. He may be a sadistic loose cannon. But a rat he is not. So we are safe in that regard." Hokuto cooly answered back to his 2nd in command
"However, this does mean that we have lost one of our strongest members. Something I hoped wouldn't happen, and especially this soon." Hokuto spoke in cursing that they lost such a valuable asset to their cause
"Agreed. He was really the closest out of all towards being able to take on an actual S-Class in a head-on fight. So without him, we've lost our muscle. Which makes our plans considerably harder...The absolute jackass had to go and pick a fight with one of the most potentially powerful freshman on campus" Kiria responded in irritation of Kusabi's actions
With both ANTI-THESIS members in the solid agreement that the only redeeming features about Kusabi were his incredible strength and his refusal to ever be a snitch in any capacity, beyond that his sadism, cruelty, belligerence, and desire to fight and dominate made him much of a loose cannon. Hence why a small part of them and to all those within their group were partially glad that he was gone, despite him being one of their aces in the hole against those within Youkai who could stand against him.
"Still, I have to ask you, Hokuto. What are we to do now?" Kiria asked the bespectacled man beside him
"I would say to reach out to Gin and get him onboard. However, even if he would more than makeup for our loss with Kusabi. I would not trust that lecher as far as either of us could throw him." Hokuto said back in automatically marking off the werewolf as a possible recruit
"I wholeheartedly agree with you there. That man is a complete and total menace." Kiria responded in disgust towards the brutish monstrel
"The only thing he deserves is to be neutered..I almost fear for the safety of the female students on campus with him lurking about..How San ever put up with him, is beyond me entirely." Kiria added in never understanding how the siren ever put up with or much less allowed him to join the Newspaper club
"Give him credit where it is due. He may be a perverted mutt who should be on a watchlist for sexual offenders. Yet if there is one thing he is. It is a charismatic and opportunistic mutt.. After all, Kiria. How else do you think he got to where he is in the Newspaper Club?..It certainly wasn't through journalistic integrity." Hokuto spoke, his voice hiding no lost love towards Ginei
"Still, I do have an idea to turn the tides in our favor for our plan to work. But more importantly, something that can make it so that I will have enough power to stand on par with the likes of Kuyo." Hokuto added
"What do you have in mind?" Kiria questioned
"Seeing as how we now have a new player in our midst, thanks to Tsukune Aono. His ability to turn into multiple monster forms is something quite powerful, the versatility alone is staggering in and of itself. Yet that sort of power is wasted on him." Hokuto answered back
"Just what are you playing at, exactly?" Kiria asked further
"To put it simply, I figure that the best way to put that power to use for our cause. Is to absorb it into myself and become a chimera. A chimera powerful enough to challenge any of the S-class monsters here on campus. Potentially even the Headmaster himself in due time." Hokuto informed his 2nd in command who looked at him as though he'd gone mad
"Are you sure that is a wise idea, Hokuto? I've already given you some of my blood to help you survive this place. You absorbing Aono's powers into yourself could yield disastrous results on your body. In fact, we don't even know how your body would react to it. The human body isn't meant to handle who knows how many mixings of monster blood all at once." Kiria said with legitimate worry in his voice
With the 2nd in command of ANTI-THESIS knowing that Hokuto's body was managing his own blood to augment him enough to survive and contend with the monsters at the academy but to try and absorb the various powers and essences of who knows how many monsters that Aono could turn into...The results suffice to say could be disastrous, as at best he would be able to turn himself into a chimeric abomination of great power that few could contend with; at worst his body would not be able to handle the combination of so many moving parts inside it, and as such suffer a painful and rapid degradation.
"Of all the plans you have come up with, this is one where I have to put my foot down. The risk of something going wrong is too high." Kiria added sternly
"I know the risks of what I'm proposing, Kiria. I would not make this plan if I wasn't sure it would work in our favor." Hokuto replied his expression and tone remaining stalwart in his decision
"Your plan involves an incredibly high chance of you dying. Your body has hardly staved off degradation from my blood alone. What makes you so certain that yours won't give out, if you don't die from absorbing so much into yourself when you are already struggling with what you have?" Kiria semi-haughtily questioned in concern towards the semi-gaunt form of his companion
"I don't know for certain that this will work without killing me. What I do know is that this is the best chance we have to make our endgame work." Hokuto spoke his penetrating gaze locking onto the monstrel
"Honestly, and answer me truthfully. Do you really think that with the number of potential recruits we could gain to our side. That they would be enough to turn the tide in our favor? Especially since Kuyo isn't going to be slacking and gathering his own horde of powerful recruits to his side. Ones that might I add will be nothing short of powerhouses in their own right. So I ask you, Kiria. Do you think that the potential recruits we could gain in both quantity and quality, would be enough for me not to go through with my plan?" Hokuto questioned the silver-haired monstrel with a completely serious look on his face
The two staring at each other for what seemed like hours, Kiria searching in himself for a way to counter the argument presented without lying to the one person he's come to care about in this god-forsaken academy; all the while Hokuto continued to stare him down his stalwart yet penetrating gaze never leaving Kiria's mismatched eyes for a moment. With the staredown between the two leaders of ANTI-THESIS continuing as mismatched emerald and crimson gazed back into deep cinnamon brown, before Kiria after minutes upon minutes of silent contemplation was forced to concede to the point raised and looked down in resignation.
"That is what I thought, Kiria." Hokuto cooly responded
"...I still don't like this, Hokuto. The fact still remains that this can go incredibly wrong..If you miss this by even a fraction of a hair..I don't have to spell it out for you, that I will be the one cleaning up whatever is left of you." Kiria said back while his human compatriot still held his look of full commitment to his plan
"You do not have to like what I plan on doing. Right now this is our best course of action and I am going to take it. That power will soon be mine, and nothing will stand in the way of our plan." Hokuto spoke
"Now if you don't mind, I have to prepare one hell of a spell to make this work. If all goes accordingly, then not even the headmaster himself will be able to stand against me. But if everything falls apart and I do die from this...Then it seems as though you will have to head things from here on out." Hokuto said with a chuckle in hopes to lighten the mood but Kiria's more dour expression remained
"This had better work. Or I swear I will find a way to resurrect you from the dead, so I can punish you for the foolishness of this." Kiria replied with narrowed eyes at the bespectacled human
"You have nothing to worry about. So if you wouldn't mind leaving, I have quite a lot of work to do." Hokuto told the monstrel who nodded before leaving in contempt of his seemingly insane plan
'Soon all the power that Aono has will be mine. Then Youkai and the world of monsters will have its long-awaited reckoning' Hokuto said to himself as he knew he'd have a busy year ahead of him
So with Tsukune having defeated Kusabi Mido and as a result gained the attention of both ANTI-THESIS and Kuyo, things are looking to turn towards an interesting direction for the Ultimatrix wielder. How things will go from here, is something you'll have to find out in the new chapters of; Aliens and a Vampire.

JoshL1294: Yeah, Rizevim really is a shit villain. I mean seriously out of all the DXD villains this man has the weakest villain M.O I've ever seen. I mean this man makes Chaotic Evil look like straight doo-doo water, and that's a feat all on its own. I honestly can't tell if he's a meme character or supposed to be taken seriously, but my God is he an atrocious villain..and not in a good way. Tsukune will eventually make more male friends in Youkai Academy, as those will show up later in the story. Also I do like the ideas for how he could fuck-up the rumor spreader, but your also forgetting about the goat of Ben 10 monster aliens in the form of my boy Ghostfreak, as he is and always will be one of the goats of Ben 10 monster based aliens. Never heard of Travis Touchdown but I like where your going with him making more gadgets for himself should he get caught with his pants down in a situation he can't turn into one of his aliens in.
Alright, I hope you guys have enjoyed this chapter and everything that has gone into it. Yet without further ado, let's get into it now shall we.
First up I hoped you enjoyed that neat little bit between Moka and Tsukune, as I thought it'd be a neat little bit to add to their relationship.
Coming up after that we've got Tsukune as Boltfoot duking it out against Kusabi Mido which I hoped you guys enjoyed for the slugfest that it was.
Lastly, we have things going on in the aftermath of it in both Kuyo's and ANTI-THESIS'S perspectives on the defeat of Kusabi, as it is something that will come back around later on in the story concerning Tsukune.
That being said I hope y'all enjoy this story and what's to come in the future chapters of it as well as favoriting, following, and continuing to send in reviews so that we can hopefully make this a pretty decent story. With flames for the most part will be ignored unless you got anything nice to say or that helps the story then go somewhere else.
