(Chapter 8: Fuck these Witches)
The month of October continued to come with a quickness for the Ultimatrix wielder who throughout the month had used his surveillance drones to great effect in keeping an eye on things at Youkai. With him making sure that so far nothing and no one was coming for him or Moka and Kurumu; yet it was also during this time that he made sure to keep his eye on a few things; namely the Fanboy Coalition he noticed springing up.
Other than that Tsukune was when he wasn't trying to figure out a way to neutralize the menace that was Yukari, and hanging out with Kurumu, Mizore, and Moka; he was also working towards trying to unlock a new alien within the Ultimatrix.
(October 10th, 2017, 11:49 Am, Youkai Academy)
It was a little bit before lunch as the students of Youkai Academy had gathered up to see who was where within the school rankings, and suffice to say a lot of eyes were on Tsukune.
"I can't believe you made it that high in the rankings, Tsukune. That's really great!" Moka said surprised by how high Tsukune was in their class
"Don't sell yourself short, Moka. You scored really high too." Tsukune noted at the fact that Moka was 11th in their class
"That may be true, but I'm not the one who is in the top 10 of our class." Moka spoke as Tsukune was ranked 2nd in their class
"..Just how are you that good in our classes, Tsukune? The only other person who's that smart is that shitty witch." Kurumu questioned
"I'm just that good is all." Tsukune answered back
'Also having Brainstorm and Grey Matter on my side really does help..Thank you Ultimatrix for giving me the best aliens to have as cheat codes for homework.' Tsukune said to himself, thankful for the 2 hyper-intelligent aliens
"Would you mind tutoring me, then?" Kurumu asked the Ultimatrix wielder
"Sure no problem. The only thing I ask for in return are some chocolate chip cookies, because oh my god do you make awesome cookies." Tsukune told her, as the only payment he needed was cookies
"I can do that for you, no problem, Tsukune. I'll even throw in some brownies if you can help me get a B- in my classes." Kurumu replied as the Ultimatrix wielder's face lit up in joy of such things
"You have yourself a deal, Kurumu!" Tsukune said back
"Yes! Now I won't have to go to Miss. Ririko for tutoring. You're the best, Tsukune!" Kurumu said nearly tackle hugging the Ultimatrix wielder
"..So what do you guys want to do now?" Tsukune questioned while Kurumu continued to hug him
"We could grab lunch if that's fine with everyone?" Moka suggested
"That sounds great. I heard they're serving dumplings today." Kurumu spoke as the two headed to the lunchroom
With the rest of the day and into the afternoon going well for the trio, as their went pretty chill for them with hanging out with one another and getting through the rest of their classes without much trouble. A chunk of it was then spent doing target practice with Mizore so that he could get better with using Diamondhead's crystal shards for more accurate and lethal shots, with him realizing that Mizore was not only a dope ice ninja but an incredibly accurate markswoman; who could have one hell of a career in assassination work.
So after doing that bit of training and dicking around with his friendly neighborhood ice ninja, he went on about his day surfing around on his hoverboard throughout the skies of Youkai Academy well into the evening...At least he would've done so into the night; had he not spotted an angry-looking and almost red-faced Moka, who was searching for someone she wanted to deck right in the face; which was more than enough cause for Tsukune to dive down.
"Moka, what's wrong?" Tsukune asked the pinkette
"It's Yukari, Tsukune..I-I can't believe she did that to me!" Moka answered back in pure anger
"What did she do this time?" Tsukune questioned
"I caught her breaking into my room, and stealing my bras and panties." Moka informed the Ultimatrix wielder
"..She did what?!" Tsukune asked
"She broke into my room and stole from me.." Moka replied still fuming about the incident
"Alright, run it by me what exactly happened. Because, I need to know how this all happened." Tsukune said back to the red-faced vampire
So after taking a few moments to calm down after having her room broken into, Moka then sat down with Tsukune and began to tell the raven-haired teen of what had happened not even a little over an hour ago. With Tsukune being both angry, shocked and disgusted that Yukari had not only broken into Moka's room to steal her underwear and bras; but had been caught using them to masturbate furiously in Moka's own bed.
"..The one time I decide to go to the library to study, my room not only gets broken into. But some pervert is masturbating on my bed and stealing from me...I must really have rotten luck with people to have this happen." Moka lamented with a hollow laugh
"Moka..I..Is there anything I can do for you?" Tsukune asked
"Could you come back with me to fix up my room?.. I'd really appreciate that." Moka replied
"Anything else you need?" Tsukune questioned the pinkette
"I..I just need time to process what just happened...I know you want to help handle it, but right now I need time to myself for awhile." Moka told the Ultimatrix wielder
"Of course, Moka. I figured after what happened..Still, Moka. I promise you that I am gonna get this whole problem with Yukari sorted out." Tsukune responded
"Thank you, Tsukune. But right now, can we stop talking about her. Its bad enough I have to deal with what she did everytime I sleep in my bed." Moka said back her body going through a cross between a sickened shudder and angered tremble
"If it helps I can get you a new bed, and we can burn your old one." Tsukune suggested
"I'd also appreciate that too, Tsukune." Moka spoke as she stood herself up
"Its no problem at all, Moka." Tsukune replied as the two, headed back towards her dorm-room
Within a few moments after helping Moka clean her room up and put it back to normal, as well as Tsukune promising to help put up a few locks and other security measures on her room; the Ultimatrix wielder eventually departed to leave the pinkette alone.
"..Don't even bother saying it." Moka spoke as she could feel the presence of her inner self
"It seems as though no matter how many times I try to be peaceful with people here. That they simply will not listen to me...Just when I thought I would be able to go somewhere, I don't have to resort to violence...Apparently, that idea is as fleeting as Kahlua being an unstoppable nightmare." Moka said, seething and cursing the fact that her freshman year would be one without violence
"So what are you going to do about it?" Inner Moka questioned
"After, Tsukune deals with Yukari. I'm putting more of my efforts into my studies. This will be the one and only time I allow anyone to do this to me on campus." Moka swore to herself still shaking with hate and anger
"Hmph..Never thought I'd see the day where you would take an active interest towards pursuing power." Inner Moka said while a still angered Moka could only stew and seethe in her own frustrations of what transpired
"Things change when a rotten little pervert breaks into your room, not only steals your bras and panties. But masturbates on your own bed..No, No..I have to make sure that no one is ever going to try and do something as vile and disgusting as what she's done today. I will more than make sure of that." Moka added her eyes burning bright sapphire with a resolve in them to grow in arcane might so powerful you could almost feel it
"Then I can only wish you the best of luck...I'm proud of you for finally getting serious about getting stronger." Inner Moka spoke with a bit of joy in her voice
(2 days later, 4:26 Pm, Youkai Academy, October 12th, 2017)
It was a few days later as Tsukune had already told Kurumu the plans to take Yukari out of the picture, and was currently with Mizore to further discuss her aid in how to get this done as quickly as possible.
"Do you really think we can rely on melon-tits to help us take her down?" Mizore asked
"She may not look like it, but other than being a busty short-stack. Kurumu has a few things that can help make sure Yukari gets taken out with a quickness." Tsukune answered back
"If you say so, Tsukune. But we only get one shot to take her out by surprise." Mizore spoke
"She may be a lecherous creep. But she's an incredibly intelligent creep. So if we fail, then it makes any repeat attempts infinitely harder. So we're going to have to do this in one fell swoop." Mizore added with a brief look of utmost seriousness on her otherwise blaise expression
"..Huh, here I am planning an assassination with an ice ninja...This is not what I thought my freshman year at a private school would be like." Tsukune responded in feeling a bit off-kilter at doing such a thing
"Its good luck on your part that my family does stuff like this for a living..give or take a few things..You would be surprised how many times my mother gets called in to do missions." Mizore said back offhandedly
"You come from a family of assassins?!" Tsukune asked surprised while the ice-ninja in questioned nodded yes
"Mhmm. My mom is a really good one..If I knew we were doing this, then I could've asked her to send me one of her rifles...Maybe she'd let me borrow her Dragunov." Mizore answered back as though she were talking about the weather
"Just to ask, how good of an assassin is she?" Tsukune inquired
"She's good enough to have taught me how to sneak around as well as I do. Plus if she really wanted to, she could probably kill our entire class before anyone could blink, and have enough time to grab a caramel macchiato from Starbucks in 3 to 5 minutes." Mizore answered back
"Your mom is that good?" Tsukune asked the yuki-onna
"She is..Although I may be low-balling what she can do if I'm to be honest." Mizore told him
If there was one thing Mizore was sure of, it was the fact that her mother was one of the swiftest, most agile, and deadliest woman she's ever seen; for she was certain that she could turn the majority of Youkai into a bloodbath in less than an hour if she wanted to.
"It really is, as your mom sounds pretty cool..No pun intended by the way." Tsukune replied
'Holy shit, Mizore's sounds like she's John Wick! First I make friends with a ice ninja, and now I find out about her mom being a super-assassin..Just what the ever-living fuck, Mizore!' Tsukune internally noted to himself in understandable surprise of this new information
"She really is, Tsukune." Mizore spoke
"Well, maybe after the school year is over. I can see where your from and meet your folks." Tsukune offhandedly responded
"Really?" Mizore asked
"Yeah. I mean so far you've been pretty cool to hang around, so I think it wouldn't hurt to meet your folks and get to see what their about. Plus it means I get to hang out with my favorite ice ninja even more." Tsukune answered back
"..That is, if your fine with that?" Tsukune added in not wanting to impose
"That actually sounds really nice..If you don't have any plans during winter break, you could come home with me and spend it there?" Mizore suggested
"I would..buuttt I already made plans to head over to the states to hang out with my cousin, Kyoko." Tsukune replied
"Then what about summer break? Would you be free to come over then?" Mizore inquired
"Yeah..Yeah I should be free then." Tsukune answered back
"That's wonderful, Tsukune! Also, you may want to bring heavier clothing when you come over." Mizore told him with an excited smile breaking through her normally icy/stoic exterior
"Oh yeah, the whole you being from a land of ice people thing..Don't worry, I'll have everything packed and ready when I head out." Tsukune responded, knowing full well he'd have to layer up for that venture
"..Still, I just want to say thanks for helping me out with this." Tsukune said to the yuki-onna
"This is no problem at all, Tsukune. If anything this will go a long way towards following in mom's footsteps...Just the experience from helping you assassinate her alone, will work wonders for what I want to do." Mizore replied
"Again, I never thought that I would wind up being friends with a comic-book-loving ice ninja who wants to be an assassin..Man that is a mouthful to say." Tsukune said back
"Well, being an assassin. Does seem like a pretty good job that I'm already qualified for. All I really need is the experience for it. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to be a great one; just like my mom." Mizore said with great interest towards the deadly profession
The violet-haired yuki-onna seeing no real reason why she shouldn't follow in her mothers' footsteps and become a trained killer, as she knew she had the stealth, the killer instinct, fighting skills and accuracy to be a good one; all she needed was to simply gain the experience and Mizore knew she could be a great one like her mother.
"The only thing I can say about that is...Good luck and more power to you for trying to be a deadly assassin." Tsukune replied
"Thanks, Tsukune. Maybe if I ever get to do my first mission. You could help me out?" Mizore asked the Ultimatrix wielder
"I'll think about it." Was Tsukune's answer before he stood himself up
"Anyways, I think that together. We'll get rid of this little shit once and for all..Thanks for all your help, Mizore." Tsukune replied thankful for the yuki-onna's help
"No problem, Tsukune. Anything for you." Mizore said before the two fist-bumped and headed on their way
(The next day later, October 13th, 2017, Youkai Academy Outskirts, 6:28 Pm)
It was the following evening later as Yukari was currently running away from Tsukune who had turned into Jetray and was currently blasting at her neuroshock blasts, trying to corral her into where Kurumu and Mizore could go forth and proceed with the next part of the plan.
'This has been a long time coming, you little shit.' Jetray thought to himself as he shot another neuroshock beam at Yukari who narrowly dodged it on her broom
The pre-teen witch having to use every ounce of reflexes and perceptive awareness to duck, dodge and evade the rapid-fire blasts of emerald energy that came rocketing towards him at the rate of a light machine-gun. Flashes of vibrant green lighting up the evening as Jetray continued to use his immense speed and his neuroshock blasts to harass and pummel the witchling, who was forced to put up arcane shield after arcane shield to protect herself.
Something that was only a stop-gap measure instead of the surefire protection she had counted on, with every blast of energy that came from Jetray; shattering the bright golden barriers of arcane force in an instant. With the short assault coming to an end once an especially powerful one shattered her barrier, and blasted her broom to smithereens and left nasty 2nd-degree burns across the right side of her abdomen.
With Yukari being blasted back the wailing sound of ominous-sounding guitar riffs straight out of a Whitechapel or Carnifex song; the thunderous wave of power sending her further careening through the air. Where she then found herself partially pinned to an oak tree by Mizore firing off a small hail of ice daggers in rapid succession; the Yuki-Onna cursing at Yukari having raised a barrier to prevent them from hitting her in her vital organs.
The pre-teen witch, quickly managing to cast a spell of Misty Step that teleported her out and away from the ice-daggers that pinned her in place, before taking a quick survey of the enemies that currently surrounded her. As such and knowing she was outnumbered and wounded that a direct confrontation would lead to disaster, she raised her magic wand and quickly cast a spell that would give her some added means of protection and offensive.
The trio in question seeing stone, earth and wash-tubs be quickly drawn in to form a towering golem of 20 feet tall of twisted earth, metal and wood that barred down onto with bright golden eyes. With Jetray seeing this quickly dove down to turn into Humungosaur and quickly grow to the same height as the hulking golem that Yukari was piloting as a mech, while Kurumu flew overhead and Mizore summoned forth kukris made of frigid ice in either hand.
With the two hulking forces eventually colliding with each other, as Humungosaur was able to come barreling in with a monstrous swipe from his tail that heavily impacted into the thick left leg of Yukari's golem; that was followed by an uppercut that smashed into its armor-like stomach with the force of a battering ram, that blew out a large chunk of its abdomen. The hulking construct tried to go for a haymaker against the Vaxsaurian, only for a thick sheet of ice to cover its face and caused the attack to go wide, while a bolt of violet lightning that had come from seemingly nowhere struck it center mass; the construct struggling to reform from the heavy-hitting attacks.
"Thanks for the assist, Kurumu!" Humungosaur thanked as he blocked a slam from the construct with his tail
"Its no problem, Tsukune. I'll keep it busy, you and MIzore worry about taking it down!" Kurumu replied as she dodged a hail of electrified wash-tubs
"On it!" Humungosaur replied as he launched a devastating right cross
While the construct could only endure the blow that took a hearty chunk out of it, and Mizore slashing and piercing with her frigid kukris with blinding speed, Yukari was sparingly able to use more ranged spells in order to turn the battle more into her favor. Yet the construct that depleted her reserves from both having to keep it up and repair the constant onslaught that was levied against it; was her best bet not to immediately get blitzed and subsequently killed off by the trio.
However, the witchling soon found the golems' movements she piloted to become impaired as though she were moving through quicksand; the culprit to this being Kurumu who was playing a combination of riffs that would sound right at home in either a Alice in Chains or Candlemass song. Conversely, Mizore and Humungosaur were going to work in assailing the construct in question, with the yuki-onna using her great speed and acrobatic ability to turn herself into a human Beyblade with how much she flipped, leapt, slashed and stabbed into the construct at blinding speeds. All the while Humungosaur continued to hammer into it with a combination of tail swipes, thunderous hooks and uppercuts as well as kicks to its legs in order to batter it into a pile of rubble.
The construct throughout it all was hardly able to withstand the combined assault of the yuki-onna and Vauxsaurian, who despite the staggering size differences between the two, were able to somehow coordinate their attacks. With Mizore using Humungosaur to hack and slash at the large construct's face and neck, digging numerous furrows that cracked further and further apart from the frigid aftermath that was left in its wake.
"Tsukune! Tear it open, I have an idea!" Kurumu called out to Tsukune as she used her guitar to unleash another thunderous shockwave towards the golem
"Already on it!, Kurumu!" Humungousaur replied as he tore the golem's right arm off
"How dare you morons' stand between Moka and I, I will make all of you pay!" Yukari's distorted voice bellowed before an arrow made of jagged ice pierced its right eye
"Thank you for shutting her up, Mizore." Humungosaur thanked the yuki-onna who began taking aim
"No problem., Tsukune." Mizore replied in having combined her weapons to form her short-bow of ice
Mizore quickly fired off a small handful of ice arrows in rapid-fire succession that on impact exploded into jagged shards of ice that further shredded the construct, fragments of golden arcane energy shown through the wounds of the battered and beaten golem. The construct struggled to repair itself as the combination of Kurumu's spell impeding its movements, Mizore's now rapid-fire long-ranged assault and Humungosaur pummeling it; made any attempts of launching a meaningful offensive more and more futile.
With the yuki-onna launching an especially large arrow the size of a small javelin; that managed to curve around Humungosaur's massive legs and strike at the left leg of the construct which caused it to almost flash freeze and nearly shatter it. The Ultimatrix wielder taking advantage of this tackled the construct to the ground and enlarged himself to nearly 2 dozen feet tall, so that he could have a better chance of mounting it and a much easier and quicker time of tearing into it.
The effort of ripping open the construct's upper torso to reveal Yukari hidden within a golden shell of arcane energies was made rather easy; due to Humungosaur's greater strength and size making it as easy as tearing a soggy piece of paper. Once Yukari was exposed, Kurumu let loose with another powerful rose pink colored bolt of lightning that shredded the barrier she was in and sent her careening roughly 15 feet away, the young witch's body smoking from the burns across her body.
Yukari tried to stagger to her feet and cast a spell to get her out of the dire situation; while the witches' construct crumbled to a heap of rubble; only for Mizore to fire off an ice arrow that disarmed her of her wand. With another arrow from Mizore finding its mark when it hit Yukari in her throat, and exited out the other side; leaving a bloody hole in her neck as she began to rapidly bleed out, before another arrow was fired with such force at her skull that it actually decapitated her.
"Huh, we actually took her out. With someone who bragged about being the smartest in our class, she really wasn't all that." Kurumu said, the succubus having expected much more of a fight
"That's the thing, Kurumu. People like her are always all flash and no substance. She did all this crap, and when it came for her to put her money where her mouth is. She had not a single answer for any of us...So of course we beat her." Tsukune replied after turning back to his human form
"I guess your right...So what are we gonna do about her?" Kurumu asked
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm taking her wand..We might as well get a trophy out of this.. That is if any of you don't want it?" Tsukune answered back as he walked over and snatched up the wand for himself
"You can keep it, Tsukune. I don't want anything from that flat-chested bitch in my room." Kurumu said, vehemently against wanting anything Yukari related in her room
"I was just happy to be here." Mizore spoke with a shrug of her shoulders
"I guess its mine then..Anyways, I'll take care of getting rid of the body. You two can head out." Tsukune replied
With the two eventually departing from Tsukune who turned into Heatblast and began incinerating Yukari's corpse, there was an onlooker who had been a spectator to the entirety of the lopsided fight against the witch. The spectator eventually stepped out of his hiding place once Heatblast had left with the witches head that he stowed away in his bag for later, after turning Yukari's body into nothing more than a smoldering pile of ashes, the bespectacled figure's expression a mix of rage, sadness and regret at the events that unfolded.
The figure who was revealed to be a tall, gangly man in their late teens with a pair of thick circular glasses with a mop of curly brown hair went over to the ashes and despite the pain it caused him to cradle the ashes in his hands he did so regardless. The only thoughts on their mind were ones of vengeance and promises of pain to his beloveds' killer.
"I swear Tsukune Aono...I swear I'll make you pay for this!" Kubasaki swore to himself as he began to weep tears of anger
"I'll make you pay for taking my darling Yukari away from me!" Kubasaki wailed in unyielding hate and anger towards the Ultimatrix wielder
(2 days later Moka's Dorm-Room, 7:16 Pm, October 15th, 2017)
Time passed quickly after the demise of Yukari, as a much-felt relief for the teenage vampire who could rest far more easily without the black lecherous cloud that was the lecherous witch hanging over her head. With her deciding to make light of this occasion by inviting Tsukune over to thank him for his efforts.
"Thank you so much for getting rid of her, Tsukune. I..I really can't say thank you enough." Moka spoke, overjoyed to have the witch gone
"It was no problem at all..Plus I did have Mizore and Kurumu to help me out, so they deserve their share of the gratitude too." Tsukune replied as he knew full well that this was a collaborative effort on all ends
"I know, and I will make sure to thank them...I'm just happy that I don't have to deal with her any longer." Moka said back, the amount of relief she was still feeling was nothing if not immense
"I'm glad your happy, Moka. At least now, you won't ever have to deal with that little shit ever again...Sorry that I haven't gotten around to getting you a new bed and bedsheets though." Tsukune spoke
"It's alright..Right now, I'm just happy she's gone and out of my life." Moka replied extremely thankful that Yukari could no longer bother her
"..Yeah. But I do have to ask about one thing, if your alright with it?" Tsukune asked the pinkette
"What is it?" Moka asked back
"Why did you want Yukari's wand?" Tsukune questioned
"Sorry if I'm prying where I shouldn't. It just struck me as odd that you would want something from the person who's been messing with you for nearly 2 months." Tsukune added in wondering why it was she desired the witches' wand
"Its actually to help me out with my studies." Moka answered back
"How exactly does having a witches' wand help with your wanting to be a doctor exactly?.. Sorry if I'm asking you stupid questions and all. I'm just not seeing how this helps with your goal." Tsukune wondered
"Its not a stupid question, Tsukune. In fact, I'm glad you asked, as I didn't give you the full story of what I want to do as a doctor and potentially if I become a surgeon." Moka responded while she looked back at the cracked and blackened wand
With Moka telling Tsukune of how she was diving into both healing and necromantic magics in order to further her profession as a medic/doctor in the supernatural world, something that as she further explained it to him; made all the more sense as to why she would need the wand.
"..So its basically a lightning rod for you to use your magic with?" Tsukune surmised while Moka gave a nod of yes at the question
"More or less, you are correct. Yukari's wand would serve as a great arcane focus to help with my spellcasting. Which is why I'm grateful you let me have it." Moka answered back as she held the wand in her hands
"That makes a lot of sense, the more I think about it." Tsukune said
"..Still the idea of you being a supernatural doctor is still taking some time to wrap my head around. I mean now that you add magic into the mix.. It's still a lot to process, the more I think about it." Tsukune added in still finding the idea to be a rather weird and unexpected concept for him
'So I'm friends with a vampiric doctor to be...Honestly, not the weirdest thing, and actually pretty cool.' Tsukune noted to himself
"I understand that its a rather unorthodox profession. Considering what I am...But I still think its a great career path to follow..I mean what better way to use my magic than to defend myself and others." Moka said back with a small smile at the chosen path she'd taken
"I can't really fault you for that, Moka. Its pretty great of you for doing what your doing. So more power to you, for being the first vampire doctor I know..Or..rather the only one." Tsukune responded
"Thanks." Was Moka reply
"Now here's my other question. Now that the witch bitch is gone, and you have your handy dandy magic wand. What are you gonna do from here?" Tsukune inquired
"The next best option right now. Is to start learning more magic." Moka spoke as she reached over towards the wand to look at it
"If there is one thing that came out of this. Is that I can't continue to be passive when things happen. Diplomacy and not having to resort to violence is great. However, had I been more prepared. Then Yukari wouldn't have been able to break into my dorm room, or do who knows what horrible thing she had planned." Moka added her bright green eyes still burning with smoldering hate for how things had gotten so out of hand
"Moka, outside of flattening her. You did everything you could to get you to leave you alone. You set boundaries, you stood your ground everytime she pestered you, you even sat down with her to tell you to leave you alone. Its not your fault that she wouldn't take no for an answer, and kept doing what she did." Tsukune spoke up
"...I know that...Still, it doesn't change that if I were more prepared. If I was more ready. Then I could've been able to prevent her from escalating things. This is why I'm doing my due diligence to learn more magic. That way I can make sure things never get so out of hand, ever again." Moka responded, knowing that the only way things would get better if she had more arcane power
"Even you can't tell me that things wouldn't be better if you didn't have more power." Moka said
"You aren't exactly wrong. If its not cursed or won't take away my freedom to do and be who I want. Then I'm always taking it." Tsukune replied back in seeing nothing wrong with more power
"Then I'm glad you can see where I'm coming from. Because Yukari was the least of my problems..I still have the other students to worry about, not to mention my messed up family. So anything I can use to help myself, I will take a hundred times over; if it means I'm never caught off guard like that again." Moka said back
With Moka fully knowing that the best way to guarantee her personal safety and peace of mind was to gain and acquire enough arcane power to make sure she would never be in compromising positions again. She already had to suffer through Koka tormenting her, on top of having to deal with the looming terrors that were the psychopathic Akua, and the cheerful yet nonetheless terrifying Kahlua; hence why she saw gaining more strength to be nothing but an utmost priority going forward.
"Hey, if there's anything I can do to help you out. Then let me know. Its what I'm here for as a friend." Tsukune told the vampire
"You've done more than enough for me, Tsukune. Taking care of Yukari, and helping get my arcane focus was more than enough." Moka said back
"Like I said, Moka. It was no problem. Your problems are my problems, and vice versa." Tsukune said to the pinkette
"..I really do appreciate you, Tsukune. Thank you for being my friend." Moka replied with a smile coming across her face
"Hey, the pleasure of having you for a friend is all mine." Tsukune said back, returning a smile of his own
"..So do you wanna watch some Avatar: The Last Airbender?" Tsukune suggested
"That sounds wonderful. Do you remember what episode we were on?" Moka asked
"I think we were just starting Season 2...Yeah, we just got to 'The Cave of Two Lovers'. So you turn it on and I'll grab us some snacks." Tsukune answered back
With that in mind, the two spent the better part of the evening watching a couple of episodes of Avatar and overall chilling out and having a good time with one another; much to the needed joy of Moka. Eventually, nightfall came with a quickness and Tsukune departed for the night in wishing Moka well before leaving on his hoverboard; once the Ultimatrix wielder was gone and out of both eye-sight and earshot, Moka eventually went over and grabbed the wand.
Once she had it in her hands she sat cross-legged and began channeling her own magic into it, in order to make the wand completely into her own arcane focus; with tendrils of sapphire, royal,onyx, and obsidian magic spiralling outwards from her being and into the wand itself. With the tendrils quickly coiling themselves around the wand as though they were a hungry serpent, enveloping it within a thick cocoon of vibrant blues and pitch-black darkness; the only sounds coming from within the room were Moka's own breathing and the sounds of glass cracking apart.
With this continuing onwards for a solid hour of pure concentration before the shell made of arcane might eventually cracked and shattered apart, leaving Moka's new arcane focus now softly descending her hands. The wand was now a full foot and a half long and made of black metal and brass, with gnarled royal blue etchings that pulsed as though they were veins and arteries carrying blood; at the top of it was no long as pastel pink heart, but instead, a heptagram made of steel and vibrant sapphires encased in a ring of worn brass.
"Now, I finally have what I need to begin my path to power." Moka said to herself as she stared at her staff
'..And one day, not even Kahlua or Akua will be a threat to me..Soon I'll have enough power to do as I please, and then everyone in my family can finally leave me alone.' Moka spoke before banishing her wand to a pocket space and begin to turn in for the night
So with the threat of Yukari having been swiftly dealt with, and Moka now gaining what she's needed to aid in her path of becoming a fully-fledged arcanist. UnsanMusho: Yeah both sides are gonna get it, since neither are really innocent in this story or in DXD canon for that matter.
Epantoja: Yeah Yukari is someone who without harem plot-armor and Moka not their to feel sorry for her and change the opinion of Moka like she did in canon...She's dead to rights as we've seen.
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Since it was pretty fun to have written so far in all of what went into it. But without further ado let's get into it.
The main thing being that I hoped you enjoyed my rendition of the Yukari episode we would've gotten in the anime/manga, and my spin on it via Yukari getting axed. As to me it makes the most sense considering that what she did was the logical conclusion considering she doesn't have harem plot armor and the fact that she really screams 'sexual harassment' with her actions towards Moka.
That being said I hope y'all enjoy this story and what's to come in the future chapters of it as well as favoriting, following and continuing to send in reviews so that we can hopefully make this a pretty decent story. With flames for the most part will be ignored unless you got anything nice to say or that helps the story then go somewhere else.
