(Chapter 9: Let's Go Clubbin')
The days following Yukari's termination had proved to be a peaceful yet somewhat eventful one, considering that in the week that followed was the day for everyone to be able to join the various clubs at the academy. With Tsukune due to his love of mixed martial arts joining the Martial Arts Club, while he and the rest of the girls decided to join the Newspaper club in figuring that it wouldn't hurt to join a club that seemed like a little bit of fun for all 4 involved.
The only club he didn't join was the Swimming Club, both due to not wanting to put Moka at risk due to her weakness to water; as well as the fact that a monster school plus a swim club, did not give him any positive vibes towards joining..even if it meant seeing Kurumu in a sexy swimsuit. Yet the one 'club' that had his interest other than the Martial Arts club was the whole Public Security Committee, where he was told by one of its members that apparently the main guy over it, wanted to talk to him personally about joining..something that put him on guard.
(October 24th, 2017, Youkai Academy, 4:26 Pm)
It was 26 after 4 in the afternoon as Tsukune was at home; in getting to see the different students either training, sparring or helping each other out with whatever physical activity was needed during this time.
"Hey, Aono. Why don't you come up here for a sparring match?! I want to see what you can do." Haiji called out to the Ultimatrix wielder
"Sure no problem. Just put me up against anyone you like, and I'm all fine." Tsukune replied as he quickly hopped up to his feet
With Tsukune after he and his opponent who stood nearly a head taller than him and had an unkempt mop of dirty blonde hair on his head were equipped with the proper sparring gear, Haiji gave the rules of no dirty fighting, no using monster forms and to be fair sports before they began. The Ultimatrix wielder not wasting even a moment to make the first move as he came rushing in with a flying knee that was soundly blocked, and quickly countered by a right hook to Tsukune's jaw.
Undeterred by this, Tsukune continued to press forward with a swift oblique kick to his opponent's right leg that cracked against it like a bullwhip; before landing a 3 punch combination of a double-jab and overhand right that smashed into his opponent like a sledgehammer. Seeing his opponent recoil from the attacks; Tsukune decided to keep the momentum going by launching a barrage of hooks and straights in quick succession that had his opponent on the back-foot trying to block and parry the attacks.
The short yet powerful onslaught of attacks launched by Tsukune was eventually ended once the blonde was able to find their opening and unleash a counter in the form of a roundhouse kick to Tsukune's side. Yet this didn't come without Tsukune continuing onwards to unleash a devastating left hook that smashed their right cheek with enough force to stagger them and allow for Tsukune to follow through with a knee strike to their liver.
The staggering blow was enough for Tsukune to then immediately follow through with a quick 4 punch combination that thudded against his opponent like gunshots, before unleashing a powerful uppercut that sent his opponent sprawling onto the ground. With the blonde having tried to get back up, but the combination of fearsome blitzes and surprisingly heavy-hitting punches and knees was enough to make them decide to stay down for the count after getting hit with a ferocious overhand right that broke his nose.
"..That was impressive, Aono. Where did you learn to fight?" Haiji spoke as Tsukune helped his opponent to their feet
"Well, my cousin got me into mixed martial arts growing up. From there it was 3 years of boxing and judo lessons. Then 2 years of learning Muay Thai and Kyokushin...I blame Georges. St Pierre and Alistair Overeem for making me want to learn it so bad." Tsukune replied as his main inspiration for wanting to learn would be none other than Rush and Uberreem
"It's great to see that your rather skilled from your first go-around. However, I still look forward to seeing what you can do around here...We're always looking for fresh blood to spark some healthy competition between our club members" Haiji spoke back with a smile
"How about you and I go at it, in a match. I might have some trouble, but I think I can take you in a fight." Tsukune responded in great confidence of his abilities
"Ha! That's a good one, Aono. You still have a long..and I mean a really long way to go before you can challenge me to a fight...There's a reason why I'm the leader of this club..But I do like your moxy." Haiji spoke in minor admiring of Tsukune's bravado
"Besides, you aren't the only one around here that wants to take me on in a fight. You'll have to get in the long list of people who want to go at it with me." Haiji added
"Who else do I have to worry about?" Tsukune asked as the two watched more of the matches/sparring going on
"There are a few you have to worry about, but the main one that's gonna give you trouble would be him." Haiji answered back as he gestured over to a muscular red-haired teen
"Who's he supposed to be?" Tsukune questioned as he saw the teens' opponent wither under his furious assault
"Well, he's a first-year student like you. His name is Bova, and transferred here last month." Haiji told the Ultimatrix wielder
"Is there anything you can tell me about him?... Other than him hitting people like he's goddamn George Foreman..as holy shit he can hit hard" Tsukune asked further as they watched Bova strike his opponent with a vicious uppercut that sent them skidding across the mad
"The guy is supposed to come from a really strong family of youkai, and I'm talking about something even stronger than vampires. Not only that, but from wherever he came from he's one hell of a fighter, as no one from wherever he grew up in, can beat him." Haiji told the Ultimatrix wielder as they saw the red-haired teen known as Bova begin to ground and pound his target into a lopsided submission
"I can see he's good, but I can't believe he's that good." Tsukune spoke
"He is, and if you can take him on in a fight, and beat him. Then by all means take your shot to fight me." Haiji said back as they saw Bova come striding towards them
With Tsukune having to look up at Bova once he got face to face with him, and saw that he was nothing if not imposing as said person stood at 6 foot 4 and was built like a cross between George Foreman in his prime and Francis Ngannou. His hulking frame made this violet-eyed colossus all the more intimidating, his mane of vibrant ruby-red colored hair ran down to the nape of his neck with a few bangs almost sticking out like horns on his head, while a fanged smile made him seem highly predatory.
In terms of attire Bova wore a pair of black sweatpants, grey t-shirt with a trio of blue and black eastern style dragons swirling together;
"Hey, I beat my guy already. Their anymore, I can fight?" Bova asked the tengu
"You'll have to wait awhile. We gotta find someone who won't get knocked down so quickly." Haiji spoke as two club members had to help the battered and bloodied young man up
"..I'm pretty sure that you have one of the heaviest hands in club history, Bova..If not the heaviest I've ever seen." Haiji noted at the fact that not even a full 2 minutes had passed before Bova obliterated then
"I still am one of the strongest back home for a reason...Not even my brothers could beat me in a head-on fight." Bova spoke puffing his chest out in pride of his enormous strength
"With punches like that, its not hard to see why...You hit like a dump truck!" Tsukune spoke
"Who are you supposed to be?" Bova asked eying Tsukune down
"I'm Tsukune Aono." Tsukune told the towering man before him
"..I've heard of you..You've taken out some pretty strong guys around here, from what I keep hearing." Bova spoke his amethyst colored eyes locking onto Tsukune
"Yeah, I folded them in half with no problem. Wasn't really that hard." Tsukune replied as Bova's face eventually split into a moderate yet noticeable grin
"..Ooohh, I like you. Your gonna make a great rival when I get my chance to fight you." Bova said with vested interest in the Ultimatrix wielder
"If you really want to fight me. Then name a place and time, and we can get right to it. There isn't really any point in screwing around when we can get to the action." Tsukune said back, returning the fearsome gaze from Bova
"We're gonna have our showdown soon enough. But I want to see more of what you got before I have my turn at you. I know you got what it takes to give me a good fight, but I really want to see more of what you got before I see what my potential rival can do in a real fight." Bova said his grin widening as the fearsome aura he seemed to emanate only grew
"I didn't come all this way just to find a great rival, only to have him be a letdown. So get good and either the end of semester or sometime next year, we can fight it out." Bova added his violet eyes shining with a lust and desire to see his potential rival grow and get stronger
"I can do that no problem….Until then, do you want to hang out sometime? If we're gonna be rivals, it wouldn't hurt if we hung out every now and again." Tsukune spoke
"I'm fine with that..When do you want to do this?" Bova asked seeing this as a good idea
"Whenever you got the time. Just find me on campus, and if I'm not too busy then we can hang out and do whatever." Tsukune answered back with a shrug of his shoulders
"Good to know, and I hope you like martial arts movies. That's all I have if we do to hang out." Bova told the Ultimatrix wielder
"Hey, I love those kinds of movies. So whatever you have on hand, I'm happy to watch with you." Tsukune replied in being an avid fan of martial arts movies
"Great to hear. If you want to talk to me later, I'll be at my dorm room or at the gym on campus." Bova spoke, before going to grab his things and go elsewhere
"Hmph..Looks like you not only won your first sparring match, but you also have a potential rival..Aren't you lucky." Haiji spoke clapping Tsukune on the back
"Yeah, also even if he looks like he could smash me in an instant, and has an overwhelming amount of power from what I felt. He does seem like a pretty cool guy." Tsukune replied to the crow tengu
'Holy shit, that guy is bullshit strong!..I'm pretty sure that even if Moka's badass vampire self came out to fight him. That she wouldn't come out in one piece.' Tsukune remarked to himself
With him having felt for sure that the amount of power that Bova had within himself and radiated in his human form alone was off the charts, as he was pretty sure that whatever the hell Bova was; that it was beyond anything he's ever felt. So much so that even he knew that the only way he would have a chance is if he went full force with his Ultimates' and didn't let up...even then the Ultimatrix wielder felt it may not be enough.
"Well, Tsukune. The only other thing I can say is..welcome to the Martial Arts club!" Haiji spoke as with a grin
"Thanks." Was Tsukune's only reply
'At least if I do fight Bova, I'll have someone who can really take a hit from my Ultimates.' Were Tsukune's only thoughts in addition to what he felt concerning Bova
(The next day, October 25th, 2017, Public Security Committee HQ, 4:15 Pm)
The following day came quickly for Tsukune who decided to meet with the mystery leader of the P.S.C, with him being currently escorted by the 2nd in command of the outfit, named Keito, to her leaders' office.
"Kuyo, Aono is here to meet with you, as requested." Keito spoke as the kitsune looked up towards the two
"Ah, good to see that you agreed to come and meet me today. Please take a seat." Kuyo greeted the Ultimatrix wielder who went over to sit in the nearest chair
"I figured I might as well. The idea of a Security Committee didn't seem half bad. Although I do have to ask why you guys are a thing?..If you don't mind me asking?" Tsukune inquired while Kuyo gave the silent command for Keito to leave
"You are more than fine to ask. In fact, I was actually hoping you makes things much easier for me." Kuyo responded before continuing
"As you may have noticed, at our 'fair' academy. With this being a school for monsters, a considerable number of the students have the tendency to be rather hotheaded, aggressive, and all sorts of ill-mannered cretins...That I'm sure you've had your fair share of encounters during your time here." Kuyo added
"..Just last week I had to put some people in their place..Never would've thought I'd have to fight a minotaur and a ushi-oni after math class...But at this point, I've just accepted this stuff as the norm." Tsukune replied
With the Ultimatrix wielder having quickly grown used to the fact that his fellow students would come after him to try and either kill/defeat him to prove their strength, so they could move in and make unrequited advances towards his friends, or their trying to gain clout for beating him. This was why Tsukune was constantly on guard for who or what could come out of the woodwork to try something against him, and while it was a bit bothersome; it did make for great training to improve with his aliens.
"Yet you shouldn't have to. No student should have to constantly fight on school grounds, and let their campus be an all-out battleground at any moment..This is where the Public Security Committee comes in, Aono. We are here for the purpose of making sure peace and security is maintained throughout the academy..We are here to make sure that the student populace isn't terrorizing and butchering each other left and right." Kuyo said to Tsukune, who felt himself locked in place by the kitsune's fearsome gaze
"Our academy should not have more students dying than graduating. We may be monsters, but even we need to have some manner of decorum and restraint..How else will we function as part of the real world, when we eventually graduate?" Kuyo added as his expression took on a more dour one
"I will agree with you there. If they can't learn to function here without trying to tear into each other, they won't last a minute..Part of the reason I don't feel all that guilty about killing Saizo. The guy was a horror show waiting to happen." Tsukune replied, knowing that people like the ogre and Kusabi would draw the wrong sort of attention to monsters
"Something I am rather happy you did..Which brings me to why I want you to join the committee." Kuyo said back
"I'm betting its because of how much power I have?" Tsukune guessed
"You're correct, Mr. Aono. The diversity and potency of your strength is something that has never been seen in Youkai Academy. Your multiple monster forms and your rather..prodigious skill with them; would make you a valuable addition to the committee." Kuyo answered back
"I'm not gonna argue about being great with what I got..I mean you see what I have to put up with. There isn't much of a choice for me, other than to be as good as I am." Tsukune replied
"Indeed. So what do you say to joining the committee, Aono?" Kuyo asked his golden eyes scanning Tsukune's form
"I'll agree to join you guys. On some conditions. If I'm going to do this, then I have some things I need to have agreed on, before I officially sign on with you." Tsukune answered back
"Fair enough...What are the conditions you have?" Kuyo questioned
"First and my most important one. My friends are off-limits. Anything that happens or goes on with them, I want to know about it first and be the one to handle it." Tsukune told him, his voice underlying the dead seriousness within
"That is a more than fair concession. They are your friends, so it only makes sense for you to be the one to handle what happens with them." Kuyo replied
"However, whatever they do or whatever mess they cause on campus grounds. You will be held accountable for as well. You wish to handle it and be the first alerted about it, that I do not mind at all. What you will have, is the responsibility of cleaning up whatever mess or situation that comes out of it by yourself...Are we clear on that?" Kuyo added his gaze for a moment becoming more fierce and raptorial
"That's fine by me. Just as long as I'm the one to handle things. Then I'm alright with holding responsibility for what goes on with them." Tsukune responded
"Good to know..Now then, what is your other concession?" Kuyo asked
"If you wouldn't mind me making a surveillance system of sorts around here? If we're going to really be a security committee. Then it would make things a lot more effective if we knew what's going on around here. That is why I'd like your go-ahead to start putting things up and get something up and running. This way we know more of what's going on at the school." Tsukune answered back
"That's actually a rather great idea. I can not tell you how many times we have been caught off guard; because we walked into something we weren't ready for. The fact that we could get much more done if we had eyes and ears on campus; is a very good idea, indeed." Kuyo replied, very much on-board with the idea
Kuyo saw the idea and need for a surveillance system, being something that the P.S.C could very much use; as had they had more eyes and ears on campus beyond having to rely on the hearsay of students. Then he knew for a fact that Youkai wouldn't be as much of a chaotically hot mess as it currently was.
"Great to hear. I can use one of my monster forms to get started on putting some stuff together. I mean I already have drones I build in my spare time. Might as well put them to good work." Tsukune said back, happy that he could put Jury Rigg to some good use
"Also, I do have a few more ideas we could workshop on how to make things more efficient. Because the whole surveillance thing is just one of the few things I'm throwing out here to make things better." Tsukune added, having a lot more ideas besides the surveillance system
"I will be sure to talk more with you about any more ideas you might have in mind, or will that be all?" Kuyo noted
"Now then, will there be any other concessions you have about joining?" Kuyo asked the Ultimatrix wielder
"..Not really. I just ask that beyond that. That you give me a heads-up ahead of time for when stuff goes down. I don't want to be caught with my pants down, when you need my help." Tsukune answered back with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders
"That is more than fair. I may run a tight ship, but I do believe in consistent communication between everyone. So rarely will there be a time when I call on you so abruptly." Kuyo said
"Well, I think that about covers everything." Tsukune responded
"Now that, that is. I can't wait to start working alongside you, Aono." Kuyo said back as he reached out to shake Tsukune's hand
"Likewise. Also, if we're going to be working together. Then I would appreciate it, if you called me Tsukune." Tsukune requested as he returned the handshake
"Perhaps, when I know you better. Until then, I would like to keep things on a more formal basis..I hope you understand." Kuyo told the Ultimatrix wielder
"I completely understand where you're coming form." Tsukune said; getting where Kuyo was coming from
"Good that you do. Now then, this coming Saturday we will be holding a sort of a get-together with the new recruits for the committee. I believe that it will be a good thing for everything to know each other, before we start working with one another." Kuyo informed him
"Gotcha. Just tell me when everything is going to start, and I'll be right over." Tsukune responded before he rose from his seat
"Anyways, I'm gonna head out. I have a few things I want to do, and a limited amount of time to do it." Tsukune said to the P.S.C leader
"Of course, I will send out a notice to you tomorrow about the time and place on Saturday...I hope to see you there, Mr. Aono" Kuyo replied before Tsukune headed out
'The only thing left now is to see just how you will progress in the months to come.' Kuyo thought to himself as he was quite interested to see how Tsukune would develop in the future
'Can't believe I'm basically on the schools' police force. Not how I imagined my freshman year going.' Tsukune said to himself in surprise of him not being apart of the P.S.C
"Still pretty cool though...Now I have a free license to make sure people will actually stop messing with me." Tsukune spoke as he continued to head off towards his dorm-room
(5 hours later, 10:17 Pm, Tsukune's Dorm-Room)
It was hours later after Tsukune had finished his meeting with Kuyo and doing his homework, that he decided to check in with his cousin and see how things were holding up on her end.
"Hey, Kyo. How've you been?" Tsukune asked
"I've been doing pretty good, Tsuki." Kyoko answered back as she held up two costumes
"By the way. What costume do you think would work better? Spider-Man or Guts from Berserk?" Kyoko asked her shapeshifting cousin
"Ok, which Spider-Man are you wanting to go as?" Tsukune questioned
"I was gonna go as Spider-Gwen this year. I figured It would be a good change from what I normally do a these parties." Kyoko answered back
"Well if it's between those two choices. I gotta go with Guts from Berserk. The costume is too goated not to go as him." Tsukune said back, seeing Guts as the superior costume choice
"Alright, thanks for the input, Tsuki." Kyoko spoke
"Why are you asking me about costumes anyways?" Tsukune asked
"Because some people at work are having a Halloween party, and we're all doing costumes...You just helped me pick what I'm going to wear." Kyoko answered back
"That's pretty cool...Sounds like it's gonna be a lot of fun." Tsukune replied
"Its gonna be a butt-ton of fun. Heck, I even managed to convince my new roommate to go with me." Kyoko told her cousin who had to cock a brow at that
"You got a roommate?" Tsukune said
"Yeah, remember that nun I picked up last month?" Kyoko told her cousin
"The one that you got from Salvador?" Tsukune replied
"Yup. We agreed that since she had nowhere to stay and not really any other place to go. That she would stay with me as my roommate." Kyoko said back
With Azazel and Kyoko that it would be for the best if the former nun stayed with the pyrokinetic 20-something, seeing as how she was one of the strongest in Grigori and the fact that it wouldn't hurt for her to have someone to bond with during her stay with the organization.
"Huh, well..how have things been going while she's been staying with you?..Also, what's her name?" Tsukune inquired
"Well, her name is Asia for starters." Kyoko informed her cousin
"On the subject of how things have been going with her as my roommate. Its been pretty alright so far. She's a really chill roommate, keeps to herself a good chunk of the time, and mainly either watches cartoons or does prayer and read her bible." Kyoko told Tsukune, as the sorceress really didn't do much around the house
"If she ain't causing you trouble, then good on her for not making any problems for you..Otherwise, we'd have a fucking problem." Tsukune replied
"Don't worry, Tsuki. I'd have it all under control if she did anything." Kyoko assured her cousin
"Fair." Tsukune responded
"Anyways, is she around? I wanna see what this Asia girl is all about?" Tsukune asked
"She's not around right now. She's out doing costume shopping, so by the time she gets back. You'll probably be asleep." Kyoko told her cousin on Asia's whereabouts
"Fair enough..Then it looks like I'll be seeing her when I come over for spring break..Hopefully she doesn't mind the extra company." Tsukune surmised
"She probably won't, and if anything she really won't bother us all that much while we're out doing stuff. Like I just said, she doesn't really do much." Kyoko replied
"Good to know. Because I really want to turn up with you, Kyo. With everything going on, I could use a good time with the best cousin ever." Tsukune said getting a large smile from his cousin
"Trust me, Tsukune. I'm gonna make sure we have a great time together. I'd be a shitty cousin, if I did otherwise." Kyoko assured her cousin
"That's great to hear. With how nuts everything is, I could use a good winter break." Tsukune responded
"On a side note, when are those uniforms your friend was gonna make for me; gonna get here?" Tsukune asked, having wondered when his custom uniforms were gonna get here
"They should be arriving in about 2 or so weeks. Give or take a couple days. Delivery from overseas is a bitch to deal with. Plus they did have to make a lot of these in bulk so it did take her awhile to get these made for you." Kyoko answered back, as making said uniforms was rather tedious work
"Hey, as long as they look better than the crappy ones I have to wear. You will not hear me complaining." Tsukune said back
"I've seen them, and your not going to be disappointed by a long shot." Kyoko told her cousin
"Really? Do you have any pictures of them you can send to me?" Tsukune asked
"Not at the moment, no. Besides, I want to keep them a surprise for when you get them..Trust me, they're gonna look great on you!" Kyoko responded
"I'll see it when I believe it." Tsukune said back with slight skepticism
"..But is there anything good going on at that school of yours, Tsuki?" Kyoko asked
"Not really, I just joined a few clubs..Other than that, barely anything else has happened here." Tsukune informed the holy flame user
"Oh neat, what kind of clubs did you join?" Kyoko asked
"I joined a Martial Arts club, and a Newspaper Club." Tsukune answered back
'I'd tell her about the Safety Committee, but I doubt telling her that I'm a part of the secret student police would go well…' Tsukune said to himself
"I figured you go for the martial arts club and unleash your inner Anderson Silva..Although, I never thought I'd take you for joining a Newspaper Club. Never pegged you for trying to be a diet Clark Kent." Kyoko replied
"Trust me, I'm not going into journalism anytime soon. I just did it so I could keep hanging out with my friends after school." Tsukune told her
"I can't blame you for that. Hell, I'd probably do the same if I were in your shoes." Kyoko replied
"..Anything else going on besides you being in those clubs?" Kyoko inquired
"Not really, I mean besides the bog-standard craziness that's been my school year..Everything else has been fine." Tsukune answered back
"That's good to know. Anyways, I'm gonna head out and get the rest of my Guts costume finished. I'll see you later, Tsuki." Kyoko replied
"Neat! Send me some pictures of how it all goes." Tsukune requested
"Don't worry I will. Anyways, later Tsuki." Kyoko replied before ending the Skype call
"Well, at least she gets to do something dope for Halloween. Meanwhile, I'm out here with zero aliens I can use for dope pranks..At least, I think so." Tsukune said to himself before looking at the Ultimatrix and deciding to give another go-around of trying to unlock another alien
With the raven-haired teen shifting through the dial, in hopes that maybe this time around, he could get a dope alien he could use for some possible Halloween antics; and perhaps even future shenanigans. With nearly 45 minutes of him messing around with the Ultimatrix in trying to see it he could unlock something at long last did his efforts pay off, as the hologram for one of the aliens cataloged as Ghostfreak appeared.
"..It would be a real shame not to turn into my newest alien, and indulge in shenanigans." Tsukune said to himself as he pressed down on the dial and soon was enveloped in emerald light
Once the intense flash of emerald died down, Tsukune now as Ghostfreak stood floating in his room in his new phantasmal form that was nothing if not what one would imagine someone to be as a nightmarish specter. While Tsukune's version of Ghostfreak did share his similarities in being a whitish-green spectre, with a singular absinthe green colored eye, a gaunt yet very muscular frame, and the Ultimatrix symbol on their sternum; that was where said similarities ended.
With his arms and chest having broken manacles and chains on his arms, neck and chest as though he'd broken out of a straitjacket through brute force and maddened force of will; parts of his outer layer having torn and ripped apart to look like a tattered prisoners shirt to reveal parts of his true form that lay underneath. With this showing in the form of his arms now ending in large hooked 2-foot long pitch-black claws that would rend a grown mans' flesh with each, along with the thorny spines that ran from his forearms to his elbows; his face now revealing a mouth that was stretched wide into a cross between a clenched grimace and an insanity ridden smile.
So with Tsukune as Ghostfreak very much happy with his frightening appearance, he phased through his window and took off into the night to engage in horror-based late-night shenanigans.
(2 days later, Youkai Academy Outskirts, October 27th, 2017, 2:12 Pm)
It was the following Friday, as Tsukune was hanging out with his favorite ice ninja. The two enjoying the rather peaceful October day they had together.
"So, Mizore. Do you have any plans for Halloween?" Tsukune asked the yuki-onna
"I do not have anything planned for Halloween. All I was going to do was watch horror movies all night." Mizore told the Ultimatrix wielder
"Would you mind if I swung by, and watch them with you? I'll bring some snacks over." Tsukune requested, in being more down down for a movie night
"Sure. I wouldn't mind having some company on Halloween." Mizore responded
"Great! Just tell me what to bring over." Tsukune said back to the ice ninja
"Could you not bring anything spicy..I have a low tolerance for really hot food." Mizore requested
"..Oh because of the whole being an ice ninja thing...Gotcha." Tsukune responded, remembering that Mizore's people were rather weak to heat and things of that nature
"Yeah...Also I made you snow cones. I have your favorites if you want them?" Mizore told him, gaining a broad smile from the Ultimatrix wielder
"Ah sweet! Thanks, Mizore, your the best!" Tsukune cheered as he took the strawberry and grape flavored treats
"It's nothing, Tsukune. Your really the only person that I actually like here." Mizore responded as she fished out a blueberry snow cone for herself from her backpack
"Hmph...you sure know how to flatter a guy..On top of making awesome snow cones...Is there nothing you can't do?" Tsukune said in-between bites
"Honestly, and I swear on all of the comics and manga I own, that your gonna be a great catch for some lucky guy, Mizore. You're a fellow comic-book nerd, you are really easy to talk to, you make awesome snow cones and popsicles, and you're an awesome ice-ninja..I'd honestly be surprised if someone doesn't wind up sweeping you off your feet someday." Tsukune added semi-offhandedly
"Thank you..That..That actually means a lot to me." Mizore replied feeling a pleasant warmth spread throughout her body at the kind words
"Your welcome. Besides, someone would have to be a total numbnuts to not see how great you are..At least in my opinion." Tsukune said back while continuing to devour his snow-cones
"I'm sure you'll find some girl too." Mizore said while munching on hers
"That's if I can find someone who isn't out to kill me, possibly eat me, enslave me or some other 4th thing..Even worse off some combination of the above." Tsukune replied semi-sourly
"If any of those whores try anything. I'll be there to slit their throats before they can do anything to you." Mizore replied, forming an ice-dagger to prove his point
"The same goes for you, Mizore. If any piece of shit tries anything with you. I'll go Heatblast or NRG and nuke every last one of them out of existence...Over my dead body that someone fucks with the worlds' greatest ice-ninja." Tsukune said back getting a small smile from her
If there was one thing that the Ultimatrix wielder could appreciate in his growing friendship with Mizore, was the fact that the violet-haired ice ninja was always down to have his back in a fight and come through to help him assassinate someone if need be. So while Tsukune never would've thought that he'd have an ice-wielding assassin as a friend, yet he wasn't going to complain about it, and in fact was rather thankful for it.
"...I swear out of all the people I've been making friends with. Your one of the awesome ones." Tsukune told the yuki-onna
"The same goes for you too. At least you aren't like the other guys here..I swear they couldn't keep it in their pants to save their lives." Mizore responded
"I get it, a lot of people are horny bastards.. I'm not gonna fault the guys around here for that, but some of them really need to cool their jets. I mean, some of these guys are future Saizou's in the making... At this point I won't be surprised if any of them catch a case once they graduate." Tsukune said back, surprised how some students here hadn't been at expelled for sexual harassment or assault
"Especially Gin who gives me major 'that guy' vibes." Tsukune added
"I bet this would be a good time to mention that I've seen him peeping on girls around campus." Mizore offhandedly mentioned
"..I'm sorry, come again?!" Tsukune nearly spluttered out
"Mhhmm. A couple times when I walk back to my dorm I see him stalking around the girls locker rooms, and some of the girls when they finish classes or come back from their clubs." Mizore told the Ultimatrix wielder
"Hmm..Now that you mention it. There have been rumors cropping up of a panty thief going around campus." Tsukune remarked at hearing rumors of such a figure circulating through the grape-vine
"You think it could be him?" Tsukune asked
"It would make sense, with how he's conveniently around to comfort the victims of the panty thief. Not to mention, he's always there to get the scoop on the 'rampage' of the panty thief when it happens." Mizore said back
"Either he's really on point with getting the cover story of this guy, or better yet he is the thief." Tsukune responded
"So..what do you wanna do about it, Tsukune?" Mizore questioned
"First off, I say we enjoy these snow cones you made. Then after that we kick-back with us watching some Spiderman for a bit. Once that's done, I say we do some investigating of our own..I mean he's been on and on about saying we need to chase a big scoop. So why not go for it, and see if we can catch him in 4K being a pervert while being a fake nice guy." Tsukune suggested to the yuki-onna
"I'm happy to do that with you. I already get to hang out with you. So doing this, and getting to improve my stealth skills is something I'm happy to do." Mizore replied on board for helping him
"Besides, this could be our first stake-out together." Tsukune brought up making Mizore's stoic expression briefly break into one of excitement upon hearing that
"I've always wanted to do a stakeout! This is going to make for really great training when I get to be an assassin one day!." Mizore said back excitedly
"Then I guess it's settled that one of these days we're gonna do a stakeout on Gin, and see if we can catch him being a perv..If he isn't then I will shave my eyebrows. If he is and he tries anything funny..the man is getting stomped in the nuts as hard as I can." Tsukune spoke, determined to see it he could catch Gin in the act
"I'm just happy that I'm going to do my first stakeout." Mizore replied her voice almost brimming with excitement
"Considering I have the worlds' greatest ice ninja with me. I'm pretty sure we can get this all handled in no time!" Tsukune spoke with self-assurance in his and Mizore's combined skills
"Of course we will. We go great together, Tsukune." Mizore replied her small smile ever so slightly widening in happiness
"Exactly! Now then, how about we finish our snow cones. Then go watch some Spiderman and plan out how we're gonna do this." Tsukune said back while Mizore nodded in agreement
From there the two headed back to Mizore's dorm room, after finishing their snow cones, and watched some more of the 90's Spiderman cartoon and began plotting on how they would potentially be able to catch the Newspaper club leader in the act and oust him as the rotten pervert he was.
So with Tsukune having joined his chosen clubs of choice and having accepted the offer of joining the Public Security Committee. How will things truly change for the Ultimatrix wielder in the future? Find out in the new chapters of, Aliens and a Vampire!

epantoja521: I'm really glad that you like this version of Moka. Because I wanted to give her an actual goal to focus on. This way she isn't a hollow character that when you look at both the manga and anime, mainly felt like white-bread and more often than not suffered from "Asia Argento' syndrome where all she was is just the nice girl in a harem setting and that was all she had going for her.
Obsidian Nova Arc: Yeah Yukari is pretty much a garbage loli character when you think about it, as it honestly still surprises me that she even had a fanboy like Kubasaki. Since when we again look at her when she's taken to her logical conclusion in a setting where she doesn't have harem plot armor, she's a sex offender in the making who's only there to be the token loli character. Also, glad you like Mizore in the story thus far.
vanhellsing9000: As of now it's locked onto Inner Moka, Kurumu, and Mizore as the trinity of girls that will be with Tsukune.
Well, that takes care of that as I hoped you guys have enjoyed that chapter and all that has gone into it, so without further delay let's get into it now, shall we.
First up we've got the fact that in addition to joining the Newspaper Club as in canon. We also have him joining the Security Committee under Kuyo, and being a part of the Martial Arts club which I think is gonna be a neat bit of fun to write in the future.
Coming up after that we've got Tsukune choppin' it up with Kyoko which I felt is always nice to expand on their relationship. On top of the bit we get with Mizore, who I feel doesn't get enough love in these sorts of stories and as a fan of her will give her, her just dues as the story goes on.
That being said I hope y'all enjoy this story and what's to come in the future chapters of it as well as favoriting, following and continuing to send in reviews so that we can hopefully make this a pretty decent story. With flames for the most part will be ignored unless you got anything nice to say or that helps the story then go somewhere else.
