A few days stretched by in a blink of an eye, and a couple of teeth regrew mysteriously, weirdly enough they were much sharper than before.

Perhaps it was a trait of this clan? That thought had definitely flown by a couple of times.

And the things he was getting fed? Well, it was strange, to say the least, it was completely red, it almost looked like blood.

But that wasn't it, it actually tasted half decent, and being fed blood? What a ridiculous idea that was.

Still, being fed like a toddler makes him want to throw a pointed glare at those maids.

His two eyes scattered along the room, darkness was spilt all around it, yet his vision wasn't blinded in the least.

It's time.

Pushing his hands down on the pillowy cot, and with a heavy push he pulls himself up.

Not waiting a single instant his hands landed on the wooden bars, quickly climbing to the top, and finally bouncing down to the ground.

A small breath escapes from his pursed lips. His neck quickly spins to the door which completely dwarfed him.

Naruto has spent enough time dilly dadding, he needs to find out where he's being kept.

His hand pushes towards the door, silently creaking it open, hoping to not make much noise.

It was dark, that much was apparent — however, his eyes looked through it with ease.

After making sure nobody was present, twice, then thrice. He slides out of the door without making even a bit of noise.

He was a ninja after all, even if he didn't employ such tactics often.

Tiptoeing through the abyss filled to the brim with darkness. His vivid eyes which were sharper than any dagger, yet they still fell short compared to those pointy ears.

His heart was steadily increasing in speed, but what for? Even if he was caught it's unlikely that anything bad would happen.

His eyes lunged around the corridor, and a door which was parted open catches his sight, not much, no more than an inch or two.

He doesn't dwell on it for long, however, and without a second thought, he brings his annoyingly tiny legs forwards.

His teeth nibble into his dry cheeks. What has he learnt?

For one — he is some prince, and that his 'name' is Alucard.

Alucard? Naruto can't say that he's heard of such a name. The exotic appearances too, and the way he was apparently some vampire? He certainly doesn't recall hearing about such a thing before.

Was it the name of this clan? At least — that's what his gut was telling him.

While his mind was still glued outside of reality — heavy footsteps slammed near him. His heart felt like it shattered in shock, however before anything else could happen a voice rings out.

''Hm? Is anybody out there?'' He knew that voice, it was one of the many maids that worked here.

But wasn't it night? Why would a maid be patrolling? Wiping this thought from his mind in a heartbeat.

The door! That was his only choice. His tiny frame thrusts ahead with a roll.

''What the?'' It may have been a whisper… but it made his blood squeeze around his heart tightly, so tightly that it may just explode.

And with one final roll — his whole body left the gloomy corridor, instead… it enters another, one which was gloomy, just like any other part of this place.

A table entered his notice, it was dark too. Naruto can't help but wonder what's with the obsession with darker colours.

The smell too, the only way he could describe it was...old. There were shelf's, multiple of them in fact, with books layered upon books, probably in the hundreds, maybe even more.

A Library? It definitely looked to be one, funnily enough, he doesn't believe to have entered one since he was 17.

Sadly for the former Hokage… those footsteps didn't cease in the slightest. It was quite the opposite, in fact, they somehow became even louder than before.

Fuck.

God fucking damn it, he shouldn't need to hide! He's the Hokage! The fucking Hokage! And now he has to run away from some Maid?

And for what? Because of his small body? His pathetically weak limbs? Hell, he doesn't even have a hint of chakra inside of his veins.

So now — he is nothing more than some defensiveness child, no, a fucking toddler!

An irritable sigh spun from his hung mouth. He just needs to deal with it, his body is a mere obstacle that he must overcome. He's been overcoming such things ever since his birth.

''I'll never give up and never go back on my word!'' He remembers sprouting those words as if his tongue was a newly planted flower.

Who knew those words would end be void, hypocrisy at its finest.

Naruto quickly shakes off those words which were drenched with self-pity, he has no time to recall the past.

As the footsteps were getting more and more noticeable — his eyes lined up to the table. His body twists until it becomes a ball and rolls right under it.

Flattening his slim arms down, placing his chin right above them. He was hidden from sight thanks to the way multiple chairs masked his body.

Clack...Clack...Clack

He sucks the cold air into his chest, while two pairs of black shoes pass by.

He freezes still. Fuck. If only he had his chakra, even a spec of it would be fine.

The footsteps cease at once, his nails dig until the floor, and on a closer inspection, they look more like claws.

''Come out — young sire. Ah, fuck. ''I know you're here, hiding somewhere — I don't doubt.''

His breathing halts to a stop. Maybe if he does nothing and stays like this she will leave? Doubtful, but he doesn't really have a choice in the matter.

He needs to find out where he is, or at least uncover some hint.

And finally, a pale face came to eye level, and with a tilt of the lip — her two arms flopped forwards.

''Come on Young Sire — let's get you back to bed.''

Oh, Crap.

Does he want to? Definitely not, but no ideas pop into his brain.

Perhaps — perhaps he should try and fight? Sure, his body may be kinda weak, but he has no other choice.

Taking a quick breath — he swiftly crawls and crawls until he finally escapes from that stubby table.

And when Naruto finally stands up he notices that their faces were close, a little too close. His heels scraped backwards, but he was probably still in arms reach.

''Come along — Young Sire.'' Her two dark eyebrows brushed into each yet her voice was still steady.

I don't think I will.

His flashy eyes tense as soon as a heavy sigh leaves her.

''Very well… Young Sire.'' Her movements become more like stomps. ''Please just stay still for now.'' She said in a sweet voice — with layers of hidden annoyance under it.

His eyes shined with concentration. Concentrate. Bringing his milky arms up. Concentrate. Slinging his right leg forward. Concentrate.

Concentrate. Concentrate. Each time that voice returns it grows and grows in a volume. Concentrate. Concentrate. Until finally it became a deafening roar. CONCENTRATE.

The air surrounding them became cold, it took such a turn that even he felt a chill climb his skin.

The hairs on his body stood up, and every breath he took felt as if they could crack steel.

But that wasn't the end, not even close. The maid standing opposite him froze still, and her already pale skin somehow became even more pastel.

And a scream came out, however, it didn't come from him. It was such a screech that it almost cut his eardrums in two.

But it didn't last long, not even a second later, and when it was ended her body fell — and faster than he could react her head slammed into one of the many shelves.

The chills that prickled against him disappeared in less than an instant. Then he gazes towards the maid with narrowed eyes.

Shit.

Licking on his dry lips. Bending his neck down into his hands when he felt something heavy perched on them. It was a book — he doesn't pay much attention to it, but when he takes one look at the title that changes in a heartbeat.

The title was rather bland, however.

''The Romanian Royals.''

He's never heard the name 'Romanian' a day in his life, and the Royals? Was it some Country?

His forehead creases fiercely. He knows the name of every Country, even the ones outside of the Elemental Nations.

Was it a Children's Book? Possibly. His fingers touch the side, opening it in a single movement.

His eyes sweep through the words, sentences and finally paragraphs. His stomach churns. This wasn't a Children's book — Naruto was almost certain about that.

He kept on turning the pages, there wasn't much that he truly cared about. However — apparently the Romanian Royal family had been around for thousands upon thousands of years.

After turning a couple of dozen pages something catches his eye and just won't let it go. An image to be specific.

Silky Silver Hair — check. Extremely Pale Skin — check. — Shining Red Eyes Check. It doesn't take him more than a few seconds to recognise the face. His mother.

His eyebrows wobble, no… not his mother, his mother was dead. He needs to get out of this castle before the inevitable happens.

The words sitting just by the picture, apparently this is the Queen Of Romania.

His eyes closed when the book dropped from his little hands. Romania, Romania, Romania?

Was it possible that he just forgot about a Country? Or maybe it was a Country that he wasn't ever aware of.

''Oh?'' A voice chimed — snapping him from the trance he was kicked in. ''Look at we have here.'' Her voice wasn't annoyed, nor was it angry as he would've expected, it almost seemed amused.

Her eyes — laced with delight roamed towards the unconscious maid. And with a noticeable curve to the lips, she finally spoke.

Intrigue, that strange sensation brushes against her as a couple of memories pop in.

Her spawn, the newest one to be specific. An image of his eyes shining with intelligence, more intelligence than any toddler has any right of showing.

Even if it was a vampire — it was odd to say the least, not that she wishes it was any other way.

And the way he stood — a newborn shouldn't be able to walk at all, and definitely not so proficiently.

Even if Vampires had a much superior physiology than many other races, it was still strange.

Maybe it was because of her bloodline? Even if it was diluted by some muddy blood — it was still her bloodline.

Yet that wasn't the strangest thing that happened, what happened earlier tonight dwarfs that.

Killing intent, she felt it all away from her chambers.

At first she thought that it was an intruder — she had made many enemies over the years after all.

So she quickly walked to the originator of the killing intent, and the nearer she got to it the more it called out.

She remembers that her eyes narrowed dangerously when she felt it fully. It was a vampire one.

Vampires had different types of Killing Intent. Theirs was a natural ability — unlike the ones from other races.

For example, how does a Devil use killing intent? They use it by filling the air with Demonic Power, however it only worked on weaker opponents.

However for Vampires it didn't work like that. No, instead it's a natural ability that most Vampires can employ, and it was definitely a vampire, now that she was this close, it was clear.

A Library, the stench came from the Main Library, black energy started to sparkle around her two hands.

The door to the Library was already open — adding to her growing suspicion.

However when she entered the room her suspicions cracked into little pieces. Two people where in there, one was a maid that fell unconscious, she didn't care about that however.

Her spawn, that's what she truly cared about. She could still smell the killing intent that clung to him.

Was he? The Vampire Queen remembers thinking.

Even if Vampires did have the natural ability they usually didn't unlock it until they entered their teen years.

It was strong, abnormally so for his first time. It even knocked out the maid, even if that maid in particular wasn't trained in combat.

The image disappears as she returns to reality. A prodigy perhaps? Even if he was a mere infant, unlocking ones killing intent at ones age is mind boggling.

Just like she was. An image of another child who unlocked their vampiric powers at a young age.

No, that girl didn't even unlock their killing intent so early, it took a them a few years for that.

Her teeth clench down fiercely at that memory. It may of been from so many years ago yet it was still so clear.

He won't end up as that girl did, even if she has to kill her progenitor to do so.
