So before this story begins I want to let you all know a few things about what changes there are for the story, the year it takes place in, etc. So for Earth it's our current year of 2021, for Star Wars it's the beginning of year 2 for the Clone Wars. Covid-19 doesn't exist here (lucky bastards), the US gets a President that's competent and someone entirely made by me (Again, lucky bastards. And partially because I don't want to use real people.), and the reason I'm writing this story is because there aren't many Earth in Star Wars fics, and the ones that are there are either not good, discontinued, or they won't go to the M Rating to show just how brutal we can be. Anyway with that out of the way, let's begin.

Separatist Admiral Garale Rootbar sat on the commanders chair on his ship the Shadows Hand with a drink in his hand. He was a lean blonde man with fair skin and brown eyes. He sighed in content as he looked out from the bridge into space. No matter how many times he looked at it, it always seemed beautiful to him, and as a Separatist he would conquer the Galaxy. Unfortunately his thoughts were cut short when a battle droid called out to him. "Sir we're receiving a transmission from Count Dooku." It said in its high pitched voiced. Garale sighed as he put his drink down and stood up. Guess he had a mission to do.

"Put it through." He ordered. Soon he saw the blue holographic form of Count Dooku. The older man looked at the admiral before him. Garale was nervous about the Count because he was obviously a higher up he wouldn't want to disappoint, but also nervous because he couldn't really tell what he was thinking with his neutral expression.

"Admiral." Dooku stated. "I hope I am not interrupting anything important."

"No sir. I was finishing a drink." Garale said honestly. "Is there something you need of me?"

"Despite our overwhelming number of battle droids, the Republic continues to push us back with their Clones." Dooku explains. "So I have made a plan. As a contingency we need to find a planet that the Republic would not find and establish it as a base of operations. And I have selected you for the mission."

"I'm honored sir." Garale said. "But I must ask, why me and not someone like Admiral Trench, General Grievous, or Asajj Ventress? Surely they would come to mind first."

"An excellent question Admiral. I chose you because you are not only reliable, but you are not as well known as the ones you have mentioned." Dooku said which stung Garale that he was not as well known as the others. "Also I have need of them here for the war effort. If they were to suddenly disappear, then our enemies would realize that we are planning something."

Garale thought about it. The Count was right. If one of the Separatist leaders were to suddenly vanish, then the Republic and even Jedi would ask questions. And he was reliable after all. He nodded and looked back at the Sith Lord. "Understood Sir. I will move out immediately. Do you have a preference of where I should establish a base?"

"That is for you to decide, but make it somewhere the Republic would never find. Once you arrive contact me at once." He orders before ending the transmission. Garale sat back down and went into deep thought. What is one place the disgusting Republic would never think to look? Then his eyes widened in realization. The one place that would be perfect. The Unknown Regions!

"Commander, set a course for the Unknown Regions and then do a blind jump. We need a place that the Republic would never think to look." He orders getting the attention of a B1 Battle Droid with yellow markings.

"Roger Roger." The droid states as the droids at the controls started pushing buttons. Garale smirked as he was in thought. This mission would surely get him the recognition he deserved. If the Republic does push back the Separatists, then his base would be the only one they wouldn't be able to find. And once he arrives and settles in, he could get the Geonosians to build a droid factory on the planet and create a bigger army. Then he will be seen as a hero for the Separatists! It's all coming together.

The Shadows Hand turns towards the direction of the Unknown Regions and warps to it with the hyperdrive. Heading somewhere no one has ever gone before.

A few days later, The Shadows Hand, Past Neptune

Admiral Garale sat in content as the hyperspace travel finally ended. After days of traveling in hyperspace he finally reached a planet that was a beautiful blue with many planets ahead of him orbiting a single yellow star. He had to admit this was a sight to behold. "Where are we commander?" Garale asked.

"Sir we appear to be at the edge of our Galaxy, pretty far into the Unknown Regions." The Droid stated getting a smile from Garale.

"Excellent. Scan for any viable planets we can use for our base. Look for ones that have the resources we need to build a droid factory and army." He orders and the crew all get to work. He looks out the window and admires the beauty that he sees before him. Since he appears to be the first one to discover this system, he would have to name it and it's planets. But he would have to think on that.

"Sir." A droid states getting Garale's attention. "There's only one viable planet in this system. The third one from the Star. Scans show a significant amount of resources that can be used. However there might be a few complications."

"What complications?" Garale asked.

"It appears to be inhabited." The droid said. Garale put a hand to his chin in thought. Yes a planet that's inhabited could cause a few complications depending on what the locals and wildlife are like. However this could also be an opportunity to get a new ally for the Separatist Alliance, or he could subjugate them if they refuse or are too primitive. His eyes widen in slight excitement.

"Head to the planet and send a transmission to Count Dooku." He orders. Soon the holographic image of Count Dooku is seen before him. Garale smiles and looks at him. "Count Dooku, I have done as you asked and found a planet suitable for our operation. However there is a potential issue."

"What is it Admiral?" Dooku asked hoping it would be a good reason to let him know about such issue.

"The planet seems to be inhabited." Garale says getting a look of slight surprise from the Sith Lord. "However the planet has a surprising amount of resources we can use. What are your orders?"

Dooku looked down at him in thought for a brief moment. Then he spoke. "Establish contact with the inhabitants and convince them to join the Confederacy."

"And if they refuse?" He asked already knowing the answer.

"If they refuse, crush them and make them regret not joining us." He puts his arms behind his back. "I look forward to your updates." And with that the transmission ended. Garale smiled, he knew what he would have to do if the inhabitants of this planet refused. He just wanted the go ahead from the Count. He grinned as he looked over at the Commander.

"Get the Vulture Droids ready just in case." He tells it. "And find out what you can from the planet and it's inhabitants."

"Roger Roger." The Commander says as he leaves the room. Garale sits down in his chair and thinks over what he is going to say to these inhabitants, if they can understand him that is. After a few minutes a Battle Droid walked over to him with a pad. "Sir it seems the inhabitants are Human and the planet is named Earth." Garale did a double take upon hearing that. What idiotic and primitive name is that? "It also appears the only weapons they have access to are slugthrowers and they have only reached the planet's moon in the last century."

"So they are primitives who are just making their way to space. And they use slugthrowers? Conquering this planet is going to be easier than I thought." Garale said. "What of the leader of this planet?"

"Uh which one sir?" The droid asked getting a look of surprise from the Admiral.

"What do you mean which one?"

"Well the inhabitants aren't united and are instead divided into territories. Each one with a different leader." This was getting interesting.

"They're divided? That would only lead to war!" Garale exclaimed. "This is different." He took a deep breath. "Alright well do they speak Basic at all?"

"Yes sir, it appears to be one of their more popular languages." It states. "There is one territory on the planet that speaks Basic more than the others."

"What is this territory called?" He asks.

"The United States of America." The droid answers. An odd name for a territory, sounds more like an organization similar to the Confederacy or even the Republic.

"When we get to their orbit establish contact with their leader. If we can convince them to join us they could possibly convince the other territories." He orders. He takes a deep breath again and thinks. Earth. A terrible name for a planet. He could only hope they are civilized and smart enough. Given the fact that they exclusively use slugthrowers, if they refuse then he could easily take over their world. But something in the back of his mind is telling him to run. Run as fast and far away from the planet as he can. He shrugged that thought off. This was going to be simple.

Earth, United States

Washington D.C

President Johnathan Preston sat in the Oval Office drinking a hot cup of coffee to start his morning. He was a man in his late 30's with raven black hair, green eyes, and it was his first year of being president of the United States and he's Gotta be honest, it's a whole lot different than he thought it would be. Definitely more stressful than most people believe. He takes a deep breath and places the cup down on a coaster. "Guess it's time to start working." He says to himself as he pulls up a few papers and grabs a pen. He knows he has to keep relations good with the other countries of the world. He also had to worry for his wife and son knowing something could happen to them, he now had a country to lead, and he had to be filled in on practically everything. He just hopes it starts nice and easy.

A man walked into the room. Henry Jester, a man in his mid thirties with chestnut brown hair and blue eyes, is the advisor to John and a good friend. But he walked in as if he just ran through the White House in a hurry. "Mr. President." He says breathlessly.

"Henry, you look like you just ran a marathon. What is it?" John asks. He knew about Henry, a kind and smart man who knows to handle things when put under pressure, and he was told he would only ever act like this if there was something important. Then John noticed the paper in his hand. Henry goes over and places it on the desk. A ship. A long gray ship which, to him at least, looked like it was a ship for war. "What am I looking at?"

"This," Henry points at it, "was just sighted in our Solar System near Neptune. And it's coming to Earth." Johns eyes widened in shock, awe, confusion and fear. "And we have received a transmission coming from it."

John looked at the image and he felt his heart racing. His first year as President and he's already meeting extraterrestrial life? This was a first contact scenario and he was not prepared for it, but he needed to remain calm and collected. He took a few deep breaths and stood up with the photo in his hand. "Henry, are you ready to make history?"

"Yes Sir." Henry says with a smile.

"Come on." The two walk out of the room and down the halls of the building. Turning corner after corner until they reached the War Room where the Generals, Vice President, and Speaker of the House all sat. "Gentlemen." He says. "It's come to my attention that we are having a first contact scenario with extraterrestrial life. Let's give them a warm welcome to our humble planet and make this a glorious moment in history. However we must still be cautious and prepared for any hostile action." Everyone smiles and nods at this and John looks over to the screen with a smile. "Put the transmission through."

And here's the first chapter. I hope I got my OC President done in a way that doesn't make him boring and I'll be expanding more upon him in the next chapter. I'm going to be honest, I'm nervous because I am not an expert on weapons, tactics, politics or anything like that so please bear with me on this. Next chapter will be the first contact between our world and the Star Wars Galaxy. Let's see how it goes.
