Authors note: if you're wondering when this takes place, it's right after Season 3

Disclaimer: I don't own Loud House, Power Rangers or their characters, but I do own the OC Villains

It was night time at Michigan Forest. The Louds were all fast asleep in their sleeping bags and ignoring the irritating sounds of crickets. Lynn Sr was hugging his pillow like a baby, Luan was giggling softly in her dreams, Lola was snoring loudly while wearing a facial mask, and Lily cuddling with her favourite teddy bear.

But, there were two Loud siblings who weren't fast asleep, right now. It was Lincoln and Lana, who were both making sure that everyone was sound asleep.

Lincoln waved his hand in front of Lynn Jr, while Lana knocked on Leni's forehead. Both of them didn't retaliate or anything, meaning they were sound asleep.

Lincoln looked at Lana and gave her a thumbs up before signalling to the zip entrance that lead outside, earning a nod from the dirty blonde.

They both tiptoed as quietly as possible towards the tent's exit and slowly undid the zip before crawling out.

"Well, we managed to sneak out." Lincoln said in relief, keeping his voice extremely low.

"I can't believe those guys are absolute deep sleepers." Lana chuckled lightly.

"I know." Lincoln said in agreement. "Now, come on. Let's get to the woods."

They both rushed away from and camp headed to the forest. But, Lily had one of her eyes open and was watching Lincoln and Lana leaving and running over to what they ventured into this evening.

"Hmm?" Lily muttered in confusion before she got out of her sleeping bag and crawled towards her parents. "Mama! Dada!"

Rita and Lynn Sr moaned a little bit, which made Lily smile a bit as she thought they were about to wake up.

"Kids, no food fighting." Lynn Sr suddenly said in his sleep, making Lily dumbfounded.

"We'll just order all of you another box of pizza." Rita added.

Lily only facepalmed in annoyance, until she heard her sisters sleeping behind her and smirked at them.

Back with Lincoln and Lana, they had gotten a clear distance away from the tent and decided to start a conversation.

"So, do you remember where you found those colourful stones?" Lincoln asked.

"I'm pretty sure, Linc." Lana replied. "I found them in front of two trees standing right next to each other inside an old box."

"Maybe they're antiques?" Lincoln guessed as they began entering the forest.

"Probably. I just wanna know why that one-eyed freak chased us away from them." Lana said, referring to the creature that attacked them.

"If I learned anything from my Ace Savvy comics, it's definitely something evil." Lincoln commented before gaining a small frown. "But… that thing did kinda remind me of something another group of heroes use to battle."

Lana rose an eye brow in curiosity after hearing this.

"What kind of heroes?" She questioned.

Lincoln sighed and stopped in his tracks, causing Lana to do the same thing.

Unknown to them, their sisters were spying on them from behind a nearby bush.

"Seriously? Lincoln's buying Lana's dumb story?" Lynn asked in disbelief.

"This is just ridiculous and pathetic of them." Lola scoffed. "What the heck is it gonna take for those two to realise that glowing stones and monsters aren't real?"

"I have no answer to that interrogative sentence, at all." Lisa replied.

"Goo goo." Lily added with her arms folded.

"Well, I think we should give them a gold mon-star for believing in the unreal." Luan said jokingly, keeping her voice low. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Get it?"

"Luan, be quiet!" Lori snapped. "I'm trying to hear what they're saying!"

Luan quickly zipped her lips, not wanting to face her sister's wrath.

"I wondering what kind of secret thing Lincoln's also interested in?" Lucy said curiously.

"We're about to find out, sis." Luna said.

"Wait, we're all trying to find a way out of the forest?" Leni asked in confusion. "But I thought we weren't leaving until, like, tomorrow morning."

"That's not what she meant, Leni." Lola told her while rolling her eyes.

All of them started hearing Lincoln talking and listened to what he was saying to Lana.

"So, I looked at a website on my laptop a few months ago and it was about a group of teenagers who lived in this place called Angel Grove." Lincoln explained to Lana, who listened carefully. "They used to live normal lives as school students, until five of them gained these powerful items called Power Coins that transformed them all into superheroes. One the first day the public noticed them, they called themselves… the Power Rangers."

"What did Linky just say?" Leni asked.

"Power Rangers?" Lucy repeated.

"I've never heard of such a group." Lisa said in surprise.

"All of them battled against this space which named Rita Repulsa and her army of monsters, who wanted to conquer Earth and make it their personal kingdom. Typical villain motives." Lincoln continued explaining.

"Wait, these Power Ranger guys battled a witch that has mom's name?" Lana questioned.

"They sure did. It was kinda surprising to me, too." Lincoln admitted. "Anyway, the Rangers kicked all sorts of monster's butt and, when Rita made them super giant, they used mechanical creatures called Zords to fight them. Not only that, they could even combine and transform into a way more powerful mechanical beast. The Rangers called it the Megazord, and it easily took down monsters with one slash from it's Power Sword."

"These Ranger dudes had giant robots as pets?" Luna questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"I bet they knew how to rock and robo." Luan joked. "Ha ha ha ha ha!"

"Luan, if you don't quit it, I'm turning your ventriloquist dummy into a new birdhouse for Walt!" Lola growled, getting super annoyed with Luan's awful puns.

Luan slowly looked towards Mr Coconuts, who was in her hand and nervously nodded to her.

The comedian girl nodded back and lowed herself down, while the others went back to hearing Lincoln's conversation.

"Then, Rita one day created her very own Ranger to defeat the other Rangers and finally rule Earth." Lincoln said. "He was known as the Green Ranger, and his power was greater than all the other five Rangers, put together."

"Really? What happened to him?" Lana asked.

"The Red Ranger managed to free him from the evil spell that kept him under Rita's control and he joined the Rangers in their battle against her." Lincoln answerd with a smile. "Eventually, they all took down Rita and an even more powerful villain named Lord Zedd."

"The witch had a boss, who's name is just one letter?" Leni questioned while scratching her head in confusion.

"Poo poo." Lily babbled, feeling a little weirded out.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is just too bewildering for my superior mind to handle!" Lisa exclaimed while grasping her head.

The others quickly covered her mouth and shushed her.

"My apologies." Lisa whispered awkwardly.

Back with the other two siblings, Lana was astounded by the tale of these Power Rangers.

"Man, that's the coolest thing I've ever heard of, Linc!" She stated with a big smile.

"I'm glad you like it." Lincoln replied kindly as he gently patted Lana on the head.

"So, what'd they do after Lord Zedd was taken down?" Lana asked.

"The Rangers returned to their normal lives and pursued their careers." Lincoln answered. "People still like talking about them and all their epic battles."

"Well if I was a Ranger, I'd kick some series butt, myself." Lynn boasted.

"That would be very unlikely." Lucy mumbled under her breath.

"Well, now that I've gotten to hear your super cool Power Ranger tale, why don't we get back to finding those colourful gems?" Lana suggested, getting back on her and Lincoln's previous objective.

"Sounds good to me, Lana." Lincoln replied with a nod.

They both ran deeper into the forest and soon disappeared from site, while the others emerge from the bush and stare at the direction they both went.

"Let me guess, we're following them?" Luna asked Lori with her arms crossed.

"Isn't it literally obvious, Luna?" Lori questioned in response.

"But, I thought we didn't believe Lana's story about that box of stones or that monster thingy?" Leni said, confused by her big sister's new intentions.

"I might not entirely believe it, but I still wanna check it out." Lori said casually.

"Well, I'm in." Lynn said with a smile.

"Eh, I guess it couldn't hurt to take a little." Lola admitted.

"I agree." Lucy added, frightening the Princess Loud.

"This could lead to a groundbreaking discovery, so I shall join all of you in following our two sibling units." Lisa announced. "But only for the good of science."

"But first, we should really take Lily back to camp, first." Luan suggested.

"This place is totes too creepy for her." Leni said in concern.

"Fine." Lori replied before she picked up the baby Loud. "Come on, Lily. Let's get you back to sleep."

"Okay, Wori." Lily said.

The girls then walked back to camp to get Lily asleep, not noticing a shadow moving behind them in the forest.

Back with Lincoln and Lana, they were still searching for the gem stones from yesterday.

"We're getting close, Linc." Lana told her big brother. "I can smell that dirt I dug up from here."

"How do you know what dirt smells like?" Lincoln asked in confusion.

"Just one of my many traits." Lana answerd with a smile.

"Alright…" Lincoln said slowly.

Eventually, they both came to a hold and noticed two trees standing very close together.

"Those trees are pretty close to each other." Lincoln commented, remembering what Lana said earlier.

"This is it!" Lana exclaimed happily. "This is the place where I found those gem stones!"

She quickly ran to the same spot she found the box and started digging it out.

"Just be quick, Lana." Lincoln told her, glancing around the forest nervously. "I've got a bad feeling that one-eyed monster's still out there."

"Chill, Lincoln. I'm sure it's long gone." Lana assured.

"Hate to break it to you, but I've seen enough horror shows to know that the monster always returns." Lincoln replied while crossing his arms.

Lana ignored her and continued digging her way into the dirt, until she finally unearthed the box from this afternoon.

"I found it!" She stated. "This is what I was telling you about, Linc!"

Lincoln saw the box in Lana's hands and was amazed by the sight.

"So, does that old box really have some gem stones inside?" Lincoln asked, wanting to be sure this was the right one.

"Sure is. Take a look for yourself." Lana said before opening the box's lid, revealing the ten colourful and glowing gems with animal pictures on them.

"Holy moly! You were telling the truth!" Lincoln exclaimed in shock.

"Yeah, and I can't wait to see the look on the girls' faces when I show them these babies!" Lana said with a really excited grin.

"They're definitely gonna be speechless." Lincoln agreed while chuckling a bit, until he rose one of his eyebrows in confusion. "But, I wonder what happened to-."

But then, the two Louds heard a familiar growl above them. They looked up and saw the same humanoid creature from before glaring evilly at them from the trees.

"Ah! Not that thing, again!" Lana exclaimed fearfully.

"I told you it never left!" Lincoln told her with a firm frown. "It happens all the time in comics!"

The creature fired it's blaster weapon at them, but Lincoln and Lana managed to jump out of the way.

"Let's get outta here!" Lincoln stated nervously as he grabbed Lana's wrist and ran away, with the tomboy still holding onto the box of gem stones.

The creature got down from the trees and it's eye suddenly started glowing again.

"Don't let those meddling brats get away!" The dark voice from earlier barked in anger. "I must have the Cosmo-Gems in order to make this universe my own! Fail me, and you're punishment will be very unpleasant!"

The glowing stopped and the creature shook it's head a little bit before looking at the direction Lincoln and Lana went and pursuing them.

Meanwhile, after getting Lily back into her sleeping bag, the other Loud girls were strolling through the forest and searching for their two siblings, with Lisa leading the way.

"Lisa, do you know if we're going the right way, or not?" Lori asked the brainiac Loud, a bit uncertain.

"No, eldest sibling, I don't." Lisa replied before she slowly started getting freaked out. "In fact… I don't even know about anything, at the moment! This is all just completely unscientific and defies the meaning of logic! At the start of this meteorological tradition, street name Summer Vacation, I was one hundred percent certain that the existence of evil witches, teenagers wearing multicoloured spandex uniforms, and alien threats to our very planet would be inconceivably impossible! But now, after hearing the story our brother unit described on the internet, it's all just too much!"

Lisa screamed in absolute agony and pulled on her hair, while banging against a nearby tree. Her siblings only stepped back a bit and let her release her stress.

"Now that's what i call using your head." Luan joked with a smile. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Get it?"

"I think she needs a bit of talking-to, dudes." Luna whispered.

"Well, a bandage might help." Leni suggested as she pulled out a small roll of bandages. "Her head's looking a bit sore."

"She'll be fine, Leni." Lucy told her, lowing her hand with the bandages down.

"Just give her some space." Lola added.

Suddenly, they all heard two familiar pairs screams from nearby and soon saw Lincoln and Lana running towards them with terrified expressions on their faces.

"Lincoln?" Lori questioned.

"Lana?" Luan asked in confusion.

"Are they yelling in terror?" Lucy asked with a small smile, spooking the others.

Just then, both of their missing siblings tackled into them without looking and found themselves in a messed up pile.

"Dang it." Lincoln groaned.

"What the heck, dudes?!" Luna questioned with a frown.

"Why'd you two leave camp and go into this place?!" Lynn asked in complaint.

"And why were you screaming like little girls?" Lucy asked in her normal monotone voice.

"I'd come up with a pun, but don't think they're a-loud, right now." Luan said jokingly. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Get it?"

"Shut up!" Her siblings yelled, causing the comedian Loud to cringe.

Everyone then got back up on their feet and dusted themselves off, while Lisa finally calmed down and simply walked up to them.

"Anyway, to answer your questions, we were just heading into the woods to find this." Lincoln explained as he gestured to Lana, who held the old box in her hands.

"Prepare to set your faces… to shocked." Lana said with a smirk as she opened the box and showed her sisters the gem stones inside.

When they saw them, the Loud sisters were astonished beyond belief. They were actually laying their eyes on the same gems that Lana told them about, and thought she was making it all up.

"No way!" Lynn gasped in shock.

"Gasp! Are those what I think they are?" Lucy asked with her jaw dropped in surprise.

"Wow! Those are, like, super gorgeous!" Leni squealed with shiny eyes.

"Fascinating!" Lisa said with her eyes widened.

"Those things sure are a light in my night." Luan admitted jokingly. "Ha ha ha ha ha!"

"That's sick, bruh!" Luna exclaimed.

"And super pretty and shiny!" Lola said in complete amazement.

See? I told you I found a bunch of gem stones in a box." Lana said smugly.

"Alright, we'll apologise to you later." Lori said with an eye roll. "Right now, we wanna know what you and Lincoln were screaming and run-."

She was cut off when a purple blast shot right past and struck a tree, making all the Louds yelp in fright.

They all looked back and saw the one-eyed monster aiming it's weapon at them.

"What type of Earth creature is that?" Lisa asked worriedly.

"And why is it wearing some ugly choice of clothes?" Leni questioned in disgust, clearly mistaking the monster's skin as it's own clothing.

"That's the monster I also mentioned in my story!" Lana shouted in fear.

"Monster?!" Lola asked with an extremely scarred look in her eyes.

"I knew that I sensed something dark about this forest." Lucy commented as she and her siblings backed away from the creature, who walked over to them while aiming it's blaster.

"Okay, I've officially become way too scared to think of a pun!" Luan announced while shivering. "I mean it this time!"

"We've got the message, Luan!" Lincoln replied.

Lynn put on a serious face and marched up to the creature.

"Don't even think about messing with me and my sibs, freak!" The athletic Loud threatened. "Besides, I took on Hank and Hawk!"

The creature snarled menacingly at her and aimed it's blaster in her face, ready to pull the trigger.

"Uh… of course, they didn't have any laser guns." Lynn said while sweating a little bit.

Lincoln then walked beside her while holding a magicians hat.

"Maybe you'd be interested in a little magic trick by the fifth best junior magician in Royal Woods?" Lincoln asked with a grin.

Lynn simply shoved the white haired boy into a tree.

"Ow." Lincoln moaned in pain.

"There's no way it wants to see your dumb magic tricks, Stinkoln!" She snapped with a scoff.

A laser blast from the creature then hit her feet and caused her to rush back towards her siblings.

"It appears this life form isn't interested in anything we have to offer." Lisa admitted. "It's only goal is mostly eliminating us."

"Well, does anyone know why this thing is literally trying to kill us?!" Lori questioned in worridness.

Lincoln then noticed that the creature had it's eye lay'd on the box containing the gem stones, causing him to realise what it really wants.

"Of course! It wants those gems!" He stated.

"Great! Let's give them to it and run!" Lola yelled as she grabbed the box and tried to snatch it off Lana.

"No way!" Lana argued, struggling to hold onto it. "I found these, fair and square!"

"Our lives are way more important!" Lola told her with a glare. "I'm too young and pretty to die!"

"Just hand it over, Lana!" Lynn ordered.

"We're gonna be goners if you don't!" Leni added.

"This is an extremely dire situation for us!" Lisa stated.

"Hurry!" Luna urged.

"We're talking about our lives in danger!" Lori yelled while glaring at Lana.

The creature growled in annoyance as it finally lost it's patience and leaped at the Loud Siblings to strike them all down. The Louds screamed as they all embraced each other tightly and closed their eyes, waiting for the fatal blow.

But then, a golden beam suddenly came out of nowhere and shot the creature in the chest, sending it crashing into a nearby boulder. It layer motionlessly on the floor before fading away in a pile of dark smoke.

The Louds slowly opened their eyes and saw the creature was gone.

"What the?" Luan questioned in confusion.

"I think it's gone." Lincoln told them in relief.

"We noticed, Captain Obvious." Lynn replied rudely.

"What do you think happened?" Lana asked.

The others simply shrugged in response.

"I hope none of you were injured." An unfamiliar voice said.

The Loud Siblings froze in shock and slowly turned around. They then saw the same golden figure that appeared from the cave standing there.

"Okay." Leni said slowly. "Thanks for saving us from that monster, sir?"

"You are most welcome, Leni Loud." The stranger replied kindly.

Leni's eyes widened in response, as well as her siblings', too.

"Wait, you know my name?" The fashionista Loud asked in surprise.

"Indeed. I have been watching you and all of your siblings when you first entered the forest." The stranger answered.

"Listen, whoever you are, spying on us is a really big mistake!" Lori said with an unhappy frown. "And in case you're thinking of pulling anymore crazy stunts on us, I'll be happy to call the cops!"

Lori pulled out her phone and started dealing 911, but the stranger simply raised his hand.

"That will not be necessary, Lori Loud." He said In a calm manner. "To answer your question, I am the Sentinel Knight. The reason I'm here is because I wanted to see If the Cosmo-Gems really do believe that you are all worthy."

"Cosmo-Gems?" Lola repeated in confusion.

"You mean these?" Lana asked as she showed Sentinel Knight the glowing gem stones inside the box.

"Correct. Those gems hold powers that all of you cannot imagine." Sentinel Knight explained. "And, if I'm correct, they have chosen all ten of you to be their new holders."

"They chose us?" Lisa questioned while adjusting her glasses.

"Why would they wanna pick us, dude?" Luna asked, feeling very confused.

"And what did that strange creature want with those Cosmo-Gems?" Lucy added.

"It is known as a Zellvrix, a minion powered by the dark energy of the Morphin Grid." Sentinel Knight told her.

"Morphin Grid?" Lincoln repeated.

"I've literally never heard of something like that." Lori admitted, taking her time to fit all of this into her head.

"If you all wish to know more, then come with me." Sentinel Knight said before he waved his hand and made the Louds and himself disappear.

Unknown to them, a different kind of creature was watching them from behind a tree. It appeared to resemble some type of cat with antelope horns. It had a pair of bones on it's chest, long yellow crests on it's upper arms that resembled lightning bolts, lion-themed clothing, a fur collar and a deadly-looking sword with yellow highlights.

"I smell Cosmo-Gems." The creature snarled evilly as lightning started emitting from its sword.

Some evil chuckling was heard near it and another monster that had a red visor and golden plated armour appeared out of the dark. It had multiple dragon heads on it's chest, small dragon statues on it's shoulders, a cape with dragon scales, and many more dragon features on it's armour.

"You are right, Fury." The dragon creature told it's companion, who was apparently called Fury. "That foolish knight has just taken away ten humans who appear to have found our emperor's prized possessions."

"So, what do you think we should do about, Scorch?" Fury questioned with a growl.

"It's simple. I can already tell from their reaction to seeing our Zellvrix that those juvenile fools will never become Rangers." Scorch explained. "And when the time comes, we'll be able to take the Cosmo-Gems right out of their hands!"

"And this pitiful planet will be under our master's rule!" Fury stated as he and Scorch started laughing evilly into the nighttime sky.

Next time, the Louds will learn their destiny
