Raven huffed in her anger, leaping out an open window and up to the studio roof. She hadn't meant to get so angry... but how dare that woman try and manipulate the facts to her own wants!
"Breathe, angel... come one..."
Raven felt those familiar muscular arms wrap around her shoulders; she praised herself for being able to hold back the flinch at the sudden startling contact, and sighed out some of the irritation clawing her chest.
"Sorry... didn't mean to throw a hissy fit."
Cat chuckled in her ear, while Ladybug groaned just behind them.

"So with running away like that, what excuse are we gonna use?" Cat asked, as the trio stood on the roof just taking a breath.
"We're not gonna use one besides the obvious akuma alert. Nadja was willing to do anything to make sure her show would be a success and I'm not about to answer anymore of her prying questions."
"I second that. She was really starting to irk me." Raven added from Cat's arms.
"That's the price of success LB, the price of stardom."
"We're superheroes, not stars-" Raven started.
"We should be doing our job, not looking like fools on TV." Ladybug finished before unraveling her yo-yo and swinging away. Raven sighed, reaching up and running her fingers through Cat's hair.
"I wasn't planning on getting home so early. Why don't we get some ice cream, I know the purrfect place."
"Cat puns, my love? Really? That's my job."
"Gotta be quicker next time~ Let's see if bugaboo wants to join us." Raven smirked, pulling herself from Cat's arms and tossing her hook after Ladybug.

Back in Marinette's room, Alya carried a sleeping Manon to Marinette's bed after the interview was over and there was not really anything else to watch on the tv. As she laid the little girl down to sleep, the tv burst to life once more- this time with a frightening villain taking up the screen.
"Welcome to a new show, hosted by me, Prime Queen!"

On the rooftops, Cat Noir and Ladybug were running just up ahead of Raven (who was looking up nearby cafés on her grappler), bickering about the ice cream the feathered teen proposed when the tv screens lining the entertainment district of Paris lit up the night. And they were shocked to see a new akumatized victim.
"Don't be bemused, it's just the news."
"Nadja?"
"Tonight, Ladybug and Cat Noir disappointed all their loyal fans by refusing to admit their love for one another." The villain waved her hand at the large screen behind her, the image dark but lit, showing a silhouette- making it eerily familiar.
"I've prepared some trials just to see how far they're prepared to keep the truth hidden from us."
To the horror of all viewers, Prime Queen reached through her screen and her hand- an obnoxious pink- appeared on the rooftop behind two of the heroes from Raven's hook screen... throwing an electric cable around Raven and yanking her back through the screen.
"RAVEN!" Cat and Ladybug shouted, running for their partner, but reached her too late as she was pulled from the roof to the studio they vacated only minutes before, her grappling hook clattering to the ground.

Prime Queen tied the cable tight around Raven, causing the girl to wince and let out a whimper, before the villain dragged the heroine towards her.
"Let's welcome our very first guest, Raven, who's apparently the only thing keeping our beloved heroes from being together!"

Cat was seeing red. His teeth were bared and his claws glinting in the projected light as one hand wrapped tight around the grappler. No one- villain or not- was gonna get away with stealing his beloved angel!
Ladybug frowned deep at the sight of pure rage emanating from her partner, her own anger at the turn of events stirring in her chest.
"Come on, Cat Noir, relax- we'll get her back."

"Well then, dear Raven, let's find out if you really matter to either of them!"
Raven snarled, shifting and trying to get her arms free. Prime Queen raised a hand and snapped her fingers, and changed the screen to a subway station- cutting off the broadcast for the time being. She moved to pass through the screen, when Hawkmoth spoke, that stupid purple butterfly appearing over the villain's face. Raven saw the distraction as an opportunity to try and escape.
"Raven's Fl-" but her call was cut off by Prime Queen's hand slapping over her mouth. The girl strained to pull away, her calls muffled, but the villain grabbed a tape roller from a nearby box and stretched a piece of tape across the girls mouth.
"Ah, ah, ah~ Hawkmoth still wants your Miraculous, so you can't be escaping on me!" the villain taunted, earning a glare from the heroine. Prime Queen pushed through screen onto the subway car, sharply yanking Raven in with her. The train stopped at its station and all the passengers ran to safety. Leaving Raven on the floor, Prime Queen changed the screen once more to enter the conductor cab of the train, causing the driver to run away in fear. Pushing the handle up, the train began to move at a high speed out of the station; the force making Raven crash helplessly into the wall behind her.
"Welcome, to the subway of suspense! If it reaches seventy miles per hour, you can say goodbye to you precious little partner." Prime Queen cackled into the screen, projecting once more onto the streets of Paris. Cat and Ladybug couldn't do anything but look on at the moment, not even knowing where in the miles of subway the car would be located!
"Well, well, look here, the ratings are rising! More and more of you want to know if our superhero friends will get here on time. The suspense is killing her! Ladybug! Cat Noir! Are you willing to travel through the screen to save your darling Raven?"

Cat extended his staff through the screen, about to jump through when Ladybug stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
"What if it's a trap? I think we'd better get there by our own means."
"There are many, many subway lines in Paris, which means a hundred and forty miles of rails. To get there in time to save Raven, we don't have a choice. You can take the safe way, Ladybug, but I'm saving my girl."
Ladybug held in a sigh, taking in Cat's demeanor. After a second, she nodded and followed him down through the screen.
The pair landed in the train car, catching themselves using the backs of the seats. Ladybug scanned the area for Prime Queen while Cat's eyes darted around for Raven. They must have missed it happen, but when Prime Queen appeared again at the other end of the car, Raven was in her grasp- this time with duct tape over her mouth to prevent her from calling out her special power.
"RAVEN!" Cat yelled, anger lacing his tone. The girl met his gaze, but her eyes told him she was fine and to stay put. Granted, Cat didn't believe that- given she was shaking against the cable around her chest.

"You're about to be the stars of the highest rated show in all of TV history!" Prime Queen cackled, holding up the ratings display on her arm.
"The akuma must be in that watch! I'll deal with Prime Queen." Ladybug decided, her gaze shifting to Cat Noir.
"...I'll deal with the door to get us out." Cat Noir spoke, disgruntled by Ladybug's underlying order to get the situation under control and to not let his feelings for Raven to get in the way.
Ladybug began attacking, trying to separate Prime Queen from Raven. But the villain dodged, and leapt back into one of the train screens, dragging Raven with her.
"Crap!"
"We're trapped!" Cat Noir growled, moving to Ladybug's side. From all screens, Prime Queen's face shined, cackling.
"The rules for my show are simple, admit the truth live on TV that you're dating and in love, I'll stop the train and you'll get the bird back!"
"A superhero never lies! We won't admit to something that's not true!"
"I want my scoop!"
"I'll use my power."
"No wait, we might need it for an emergency."
"Yeah, like right now!"
"We have to lure her over her first or we'll never capture her akuma! So let's just play along with her, at least it'll buy us some time to get Raven free."
"Meaning?" Cat Noir frowned, not liking the implications. Ladybug nodded minutely, shooting him a look of apology.
"Okay Prime Queen," Ladybug reached over and took hold of Cat Noir's hand, "you win. I confess, Cat Noir and I are dating, like you said. We are..in..love." Ladybug ground out, the words feeling like acid in her mouth.
Instantly, Prime Queen stopped the train. Cat Noir and Ladybug flew to the back wall of the car at the abrupt halt.
"Our two heroic lovebirds are saving their partner's life by admitting their true feelings. Our viewers are going crazy! But, our TV ratings haven't maxed out yet. You must do better!"
"Then come and join us, Prime Queen. You're the host and the star of the show after all. Then you'll have your ratings." Ladybug taunted, hands on her hips.

Raven watched the interactions from behind the villain, ready to make her move. The one good thing about duct tape? The more it gets wet, the less it sticks. For the last five minutes, she's been licking the tape and rubbing the edges on her shoulders. And now while Prime Queen was distracted by Hawkmoth talking to her, Raven swiped off the strip of tape. The attention still off her, the heroine called out in her mind for her grappler. Normally, a holder as young as her wouldn't be able to do this, but six years of practicing paid off in moments like this. The grappling hook materialized on her waist, giving her a second line of defense once she de-tranformed.
"My show, my rules, Ladybug! To prove that your feelings are genuine, you're going to have to take off your masks, which means you must both give me your Miraculous!"
"Not a chance, Prime Queen!"
At Ladybug's cry, Raven took action.
"Raven's Flight!"

The heroes on the train were overjoyed at the sound of their partner's voice crying out her special power, and the tri-colored flash behind the villain revealed an oversized raven taking off into the air, drawing shouts of excitement from the pair. But their view of their partners escape was cut by Prime Queen turning off the screen.
"Crap. Is the show over?" Cat Noir lightly teased, knocking on the black screen. Ladybug smirked at his change in attitude, knowing it was all due to his crush getting free.
"For now. But if we can't get to Prime Queen, we'll never be able to capture her akuma!" Ladybug groaned, running her hands through her hair.
In an instant, the screen turned back on and they see Prime Queen is at the Louvre Museum.
"My dear viewers, you are in for the reveal of a lifetime!" Prime Queen opened a sarcophagus... with Alya tied up inside.
"Ladybug, help me, please!"
"Oh wait, isn't this the girl who started the famous Ladyblog? The first one who ever filmed Ladybug?"
"No, Alya!"
"Next trial, your Miraculous! Or else your biggest fan will be mummified!"
Cat Noir glared at the screen, but almost fell through the one he was leaning against as it became a teleport.
"Let's leap in, before she runs!" Ladybug ran up to the feline teen, who nodded and followed her through.

Only, Ladybug and Cat Noir ended up landing in a walk-in freezer in some kitchen.
"We're not at the Louvre..." Cat Noir frowned, wrapping his arms around himself as he shivered.
"It was a double-cross!" Ladybug ran to the door, tugging on the handle only to find it locked.
"Uh, Cata-time?"
"There's no point!" Ladybug groaned in frustration, "We're probably far away from the Louvre! By the time we get there it'll be too late to save Alya!"
Before Cat could respond, his staff rang. The only other person who could be calling him...
"Raven!" Cat answered the video call, huddling in the corner. Ladybug was at his side, quick.
"Miss me, you two?" Raven's smirking face shined through the screen.
"You gave us a heart attack!" Ladybug admonished the girl.
"You owe me a kiss, angel." Cat smirked, making Ladybug nearly screech at his timing.
"That I can do, kitty~"
"FOCUS! Raven, where are you?"
"I've got a front row seat. Focus on getting Prime Queen to you, I've got Alya."

"The time has come to push those ratings sky high! Let's try this again. Remove your Miraculous and reveal your true selves! The whole world is watching you! There's no use looking for a way out! Unless, you want to see your biggest fan in deep water." Prime Queen snapped her fingers and the television in front of her displayed the Seine.
"Not if I have anything to say about it..." Raven muttered from her perch above the villain. She was waiting, letting Ladybug figure out a plan while she sat in prep to swoop in and save Alya. She can hear her partners begin their act, and gasp in shock at the threat against the teen.
"Hurry up, you two. Don't wanna keep your audience waiting."
"You're right! Lucky Charm! A tape roll? What am I supposed to do with this? Hmm... Of course!" Raven can't see it from her vantage point, but she could hear Ladybug going through whatever was in the freezer with her and Cat trying to find what she needed for her Lucky Charm.
"Hurry up, she's about to push Alya in the water!"
"One minute!"
"That's too long!"

"Listen to the cat." Prime Queen accentuated her previous threat, pushing the sarcophagus even further through the screen. Raven tensed, pulling her hook from her waist in prep and ignoring her choker beginning to beep.
"Voilà!" Ladybug's voice called out in joy before more noises came through the screen before, moving just slightly to her left, Raven could see something covering the screen making it go dark on the other side.
"What's happening?" Prime Queen voiced her confusion, her foot moving from the sarcophagus.
"Fine, you win, Prime Queen. We'll remove our Miraculous. The whole world will see us without our masks!" Ladybug called.
"And we're about to kiss! Shame you're missing it!" Cat's turn, the teasing lilt in his voice made Raven chuckle.
"So unlucky!"
'That's kitty's line, bugaboo~' Raven giggled at the thought.
"If you're lying, you're going to regret it." Prime Queen growled before punching through the screen and whatever Ladybug put over the screen on their side... and the villain was gone, pulled in by Ladybug.
"Great job, bugaboo!" Raven called, jumping down from her spot and quickly pulling the sarcophagus back into the museum. Over the chaos heard through the black screen, Raven yanked open the lid and smirked down at the teen inside.
"You can't keep outta trouble, can ya, Alya?"
"Oh my god- Raven! In the flesh! It's been so long!" Alya cheered, squirming against the ropes tying her down.
"Calm down there, kid. Let me get those off." Raven sliced the ropes gone with her hook and helped the girl out of the coffin.
"Omg can I get an interview with you!? It's been almost a month since anyone's seen you last!" Alya was almost bouncing out of her shoes, she was so giddy at the sight of the feathered heroine. Raven chuckled at the reaction but really didn't know what to say.
"Thank you!" Ladybug's voice came through the screen again, catching the two females attention.
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"
"See you later, Alya~" Raven waved as the pink ladybugs swarmed around, transporting the teen back to wherever she had been before all this. Once she was alone, Raven pulled her hook up and pressed a button. She leaned back a little as the screen popped up into view but she touched the little icon with Cat's face and brought the hook up to see the video connect.
"Mon merle!"
"Mon chaton~"
"Everything good on your end, Raven?" Ladybug chimed in, poking her head into frame.
"All good over here. Little blogger is back wherever and I'm assuming everything with you two is good?"
"Yeah... it's good to have you back, Raven."
"Awe thanks bugaboo~"
"I'm happy to have you back too, angel~" Cat mused, ignoring Ladybug groaning as she pulled her head from frame.
"Thanks pretty kitty~" Raven cooed, but stopped when her choker let out another beep.
"Oh- only got two minutes left. Gotta go, my lovelies!"
"Meet at the tower deck at ten, angel? I'm sure LB's got some questions." Cat asked before the girl could hang up.
"Of course. See you there. Night!"

"Touch the ground..." Blue light faded and Ella sighed, stretching her arms as she headed over to her couch. Flopping down face-first into the fabric, the girl sighed again and sank into the couch in her attempt to relax.
"You okay, beany?" Kiismet asked from the sofa arm, a walnut caramel cluster in her little paws.
"Yeah. I just forgot how much effort it took to be Raven. But I really missed it."
Kiismet's reply was cut off by a knock on the door and Nathalie calling out that dinner was ready.
"Coming!" Ella called back, pushing herself off the couch and moving out the door. The kwami smiled at her holder and continued munching on her snack as she flew after the girl and escaping into her skirt pocket.
