Officer Lincoln loud open the front door of his house as he walks in " I'm home " He called out wondering if anyone was in the house. He places his keys on a small table next to the front door.

Lincoln walks over to a recliner that was in the living room and sits down and sighs after a long days work he grabs the TV remote that was on the coffee table and turns on the TV just as he relaxes a blur runs by him getting his attention "huh?" was all that Lincoln could say before he tackled to the floor by two blurs that start to laugh. Lincoln gets his barrings and see's who exactly tackled him he saw his two kids a boy and a girl laughing. Lincoln himself couldn't help but chuckle a little seeing his kids having fun and dressed up for something that comes at the end of this month every year HALLOWEEN.

" Leo,Maria, did you two tackle your father again?" A voice asked coming down a set of stairs. The voice belonged to Lincoln's wife Ronnie Anne Santiago Loud she was in her scrubs from when she ended her shift at the hospital. " Maybe " the two replied with a smile as they got off of there father allowing him to get up off the floor.

Ronnie Anne walks up to her husband and kissed his cheek " So how was work?" Ronnie Anne asked him. Lincoln let out a sigh and looked at her " Same thing as always just driving the car on patrol pulled a few people over for speeding but aside from that nothing else today" Lincoln said to his wife.

" so did you get your costume for the party?" Ronnie Anne asked him One of the police officers atthe Station Lincoln works was throwing a Halloween party adults only. " No I didn't have time today beside I have a back up plan" Lincoln said to her " Really what?" She asked him with her arms crossed giving him a stern look " Don't worry it'll work trust me" Lincoln said to her and kissed her forehead. and then walked towards the basement leaving his kids and Ronnie Anne giving each other confused looks.

Two hours later

Leo was dressed as a soldier and Maria was dressed as a small version of her aunt Lola, Ronnie Anne was dressed a attractive nurses costume to that can turn heads " Okay kids once your dad takes you kids trick or treating you aunt Lily is going to watch over you guys while me and your dad are at the Halloween party Okay?" Ronnie Anne said to her kids.

" Okay mom" the two said. Just then they heard foot steps coming down the stairs the three turned there heads and much to there surprise it was there father wearing his old desert combat uniform from his time with the Army 75th ranger regiment " Whoa dad is that you Army gear?" Leo asked his dad as he and his sister ran towards there dad.

" Yup decided to break it out for tonight just this once and I have something special for you Leo" Lincoln said to his son " Oh really What is it?" Leo asked his father with excitement in his voice. Lincoln smiled at his son as he pulled something out from his back pocket " He this is something I wore on top of my head the Dad I married them most special women in the world" Lincoln said to his son causing Ronnie Anne to smile.

His Beret from his Dress service Uniform " Dad is this ?" Leo asked his dad " It is and it's yours just for to night" Lincoln said to his son as he placed the beret on top of his son's head.

" there you go now you look like a proper soldier" Lincoln said to his to his son causing him to smile " Alright Come kids let's get some Candy !" Lincoln said to his kids " YEAH!" the two shouted. Ronnie Anne just chuckled at her kids excitement for there favorite night of the year.

Outside

Lincoln was holding both of his kids hands while Ronnie Anne stayed to hand out candy " Okay kids Let's go" Lincoln said to his kids. Lincoln watches as his kids walks up to a house one after another saying trick or treat over and over again Lincoln laughed as he began to remember his childhood going trick or treating with his sisters and friends.

Three hours later Lincoln was carrying two full pillow cases of candy because the weight made it hard for them to carry " Trick or treat" Lincoln said with a smile as walks up towards his house with his kids walking tiredly in front of him as Ronnie Anne looked at them with a smile across her face " Hey kids have fun?" Ronnie Anne asked her kids with a smile across her face " Ugh" the let out a groan as the walked into the house.

" I take it they got a lot candy ?" She asked Lincoln with a smirk " Oh yeah enough to feed for a year" Lincoln said as he walked inside and put there bags of candy down right behind the couch " Okay let's head to the party" Lincoln said to his wife " Ah perfect timing because Lily just got here" Ronnie Anne said as she gestured to Lincolns youngest sister Lily loud she was doing good with her life going to college studying art. " Hey guys " Lily said with a smile " Hey Lily " Both Lincoln and Ronnie Anne said at the same time.

Lincoln walks up to his sister gives her a hug and a kiss " Thanks for watching the kids while me and Ronnie Anne go to this party " Lincoln said to his little sister " No problem Linc uh by the way I notice your wearing your uniform you didn't re enlist did you?" Lily asked wit a concern face " no Lily I just wore to take the kids trick or treating" Lincoln said to his little sister

" Well alright were heading out the kids bedtime is nine thirty so don't let them eat all of there candy and we will be back around ten thirty" Ronnie Anne said to Lily as she grabbed her house keys Lincoln wrapped his arm around hers and the exited the house to enjoy Halloween night for themselves.

Ten thirty

Lincoln pulls the pick up into the drive way as he and Ronnie Anne get out of there car " Well that was a fun night wouldn't you say?" Lincoln asked as he locked the car doors " Yup haven't danced much since are wedding" She said to Lincoln " Before or after Luna,Lynn, Lori Got drink and started to grind on people?" Lincoln asked her " Before and please don't bring that up again it wasn't fun trying to cut them off then they ended up biting one of there servers who was bringing out the food" Ronnie Anne said to him.

" yeah but at least that server dropped the charges" Lincoln said to his wife. the Two walk up to the front door and notice the TV was on Lincoln opened the door slowly and saw Lily with her arms wrapped around Leo and Maria all three of them where asleep. He noticed that they had watched 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' " at least it wasn't anything that could give them nightmares" Lincoln said to his wife who nodded.

The married couple carefully pick up there kids and carry them to there rooms placing them in there beds covering them in the blankets and giving each of them a goodnight kiss. Lincoln walks down stairs and lays Lily down slowly on the couch with a pillow underneath her head and places a blanket over to keep her warm he plants a kiss on her cheek and walks upstairs to see Ronnie Anne waiting for him.

The married couple change into there sleep ware and lay down next to each other holding there hands looking at each other smiling slowly closing there eyes with smiles on there faces knowing that this Halloween was perfect not just for them but also for there kids.
