As McGee sat and waited for Jeanne, he did a little research on Dr. Rodney McKay. He wanted to prove to Tony that he was still smarter than this friend of his. So far, everything he'd read, Tony was right. McKay was brilliant. Why was someone as smart as Dr McKay friends with someone like him?
"Hello Tim," Jeanne smiled as she sat down opposite him. "This is my father, Rene Benoit. He's come to visit me. I explained I had plans and insisted he joins us. I hope you don't mind?"
"No, of course not. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir," Tim stood up and shook his hand. He'd been waiting to meet her father, but he wasn't prepared for it to be now. Just then, his phoned binged. He looked down at his cell. "Sorry, it's a client." It was the Director for an update.
Rene looked at the young man. He assumed his daughter was hiding a boyfriend, but seeing how she said hello and looked at him, there wasn't anything romantic. Tim looked at her with interest though.
"I hope everything is okay," Rene smiled at him. This young man was not hiding anything.
"Everything is fine, a colleague will drop off a file for me," Tim tried to look relaxed, but the other man terrified him. He was an arms dealer, after all.

Jenny grinned as she put down her phone. This had played perfectly into her hands. She pressed the intercom. "Cynthia, please send up Agents Gibbs and DiNozzo."
It didn't take long before there was a knock at the door, which surprised her, and then it opened. She glared at the two men who just walked without permission, which felt more familiar.
"You asked for us, Director?" Gibbs uttered bluntly. He hoped she wasn't going to play any games with them.
Jenny could tell he didn't want to be here. It was all down to DiNozzo; she was sure of it. When he was gone, Gibbs would want to be with her. They were together before and could be again. If she hadn't made a mistake by letting him go all those years ago, she was sure they would've still been together today.
"Do you remember the Watts Case?" She asked.
"Yes, why?"
"His lawyer has some queries. It's possible there could be problems. You and I have to go to a meeting. You'll have time to reread the file before we leave."
"Yes, director." He glanced over at Tony, turned, and left.
"DiNozzo, McGee has the afternoon off."
"Yes, he was going to the dentist."
"Right, yes, the dentist. Well, he has to read a file before tomorrow morning. He's meeting up with a friend so that you can give it to him at the restaurant they are at." She handed him a file.
Tony grabbed hold of it. "Where is he?" He hoped back in the day she was much better at undercover.
"I'll text you once I confirm the address and send it to you?"
"Yes, ma'am." Did she believe he was that stupid? McGee was lying, and so was she. What was the Director involving him in?

"You can't go alone?" Gibbs hated this.
"What he said, I agree with Gibbs," Rodney paused for a moment. "I am sure that doesn't happen that often."
Gibbs gently slapped him on the shoulder and laughed.
"It does sound dangerous," John added.
"It might be, but if McGee is undercover, he might be watched. I am going to assume that they know he is lying. I can't put him in danger, and I can come up with something if I need to." Tony appreciated that they all cared, but this was something he had to do alone.
Before anyone else could say anything, the director walked down the stairs.
"Gibbs, are you ready to go?" Jenny asked as she walked over to his desk.
"Yes, Ma'am." He was making sure that he kept it purely professional between them. He knew what she wanted, but his heart belonged to Tony. He couldn't wait to get back to Atlantis and people he trusted.
She glared at him and the use of ma'am.
"If you need anything, talk to Agent Burley." She looked at John and Rodney.
"We'll go down and see Abby and Ronon," John smirked.
Jenny glared at them and stomped off. Gibbs grinned and then followed her.

"Tim, here's the file you need," Tony smiled as he handed it over.
"Thank you, Tony."
"Enjoy the rest of your afternoon."
"Tony, was it?" Jeanne flirted. "I'm Jeanne, and this is my father, Rene Benoit."
"It's nice to meet you both."
Rene could see that his daughter was interested in this man. "Would you like to join us?"
"Thank you for asking, but I have to go," Tony noticed as Rene briefly glanced over at a man who was supposedly reading a paper.
"Are you meeting your girlfriend?" Jeanne wanted to know.
"I don't have a girlfriend." He noticed that her smile brightened. "I do have a boyfriend."
"Oh, okay." She had hoped that he'd be single.
Tim turned to look at Tony in shock and anger. He has a boyfriend. He also hated the fact that Jeanne was interested as soon as she saw him. He'd been trying for weeks, and she still treated him as a friend, but even worse, like a little brother.
"See you later, Tim."
"Thanks for bringing the file."
The three of them watched as Tony walked away.
"An interesting man," Rene watched Tim's face. It was evident that he was jealous. He wanted to find out what the relationship was between the two men.

Tony knew he was being followed. This guy was pretty good, but he had seen the glance at the restaurant, and that gave the guy away. He continued to walk a fair distance before quickly jumping into a cab.

Kort couldn't help but laugh. He had thought that this guy would have been as useless as the Tim guy. This new guy had some skills, someone he needed to find more about.

"Wait, you're telling me Timmy called Rodney thick."
"Yep, Tony loved it, especially explaining how smart is McKay is," John added.
"I wish I could've seen it," Ronan muttered.
"Oh, we can do that," Abby rushed over to the computer.
The four of them crowded around the monitor and watched what had happened.
"You dated him?" Rodney asked as it finished. He couldn't imagine the free-spirited woman being with someone so arrogant. He knew he was, and it took a certain kind of person to date someone like him. The thing he hated most was how McGee and this Ziva person treated Tony. They didn't know him, and considering they were supposed to be top investigators, he wondered how they solved any crimes.
John looked over at Abby. "He believes he is the love of your life."
Abby stared at him in horror. "Please tell me you are joking."
"I'm not. I also think the director still has a thing for Gibbs. I don't think either of them are going to have much luck."
Abby smiled brightly. "Nope, they're not." She looked around at what used to be her favourite place. "I used to think that NCIS would be the place I was most the happiest. After Tony left, things changed and not for the better. I was terrified when I came to where we work." She wasn't going to mention Atlantis. " I'm glad I did. I grew up; it taught me that not all changes were bad, and I met new people. Working with the best in their fields was a dream come true. I got to spend lots of time with Gibbs and Tony. I thought that would be enough, and then Ronon and I got together."
"What about us?" John asked, pointing at himself and then Rodney.
"You know I adore you two. You are brothers to me. I don't think I could ever come back here to work. I have changed too much."
Rodney put an arm around her shoulders. "We wouldn't let you go without a fight." He wasn't a tactile person, but he tried with Abby. It was something that made her feel better. He knew being back here would be hard on the three former employees. Technically they still worked for NCIS, but that was just a technicality

Ziva wasn't sure what to do. Her father was very interested in this McKay person, and since they seemed to be more linked to Tony. She somehow had to get him on Mossad's side or get information on this classified op.
"What to do?" She muttered as she sat at her desk.

Gibbs was so glad to be back in the office finally. He needed to get away From Jenny. He was sure that everything she tried was sexual harassment. Once Gibbs glanced over at Tony, any thought of the director left. There was something wrong, and by the looks Tony was throwing at McGee desk, it had to do with the other man. It was something he would ask later, when they were no longer in NCIS.
Ziva knew she had to act. Her father hadn't given her much time.
"Tony, I thought I could cook for you tonight; maybe we could catch up?" She smiled over at him.
"No, and please stop smiling. It's creepy and not you."
"Oh, I insist. It's the least I can do." She tried again.
"Ziva, no matter how many times you ask the answer will always be no. Me being away doesn't mean I lost my memory about how you used to treat me when I worked here."
"Tony, I'm sorry-."
"Ziva, leave it. He said no, you are now harassing him."
She glared at her monitor. There had to be something she could do.

Eli looked at the message he'd received. He'd been worried about Ziva and had sent help. Someone much better than her who could get the job done, even his daughter had believed his lies. Michael was one of the best Mossad had.

Michael Rivkin eyes snapped open and he suddenly sat up and looked around the room.
Where was he?
How the hell did he get here?

One of the alien inhabited bodies stared at the hotel. They wanted a host that could help. The humans they took from Atlantis were tied up and unconscious in case they were needed again. They had jumped from body to body to find suitable hosts, hopefully. This Michael Rivkin was perfect.

They had a suite to share, and they had tech that stopped people listening in. They also checked to make sure that there were no cameras or microphones.
"So, what is it about McGee that's got you worried?" Gibbs asked.
The others turned and looked at him.
"Timmy?" Abby sighed when they all turned to her. "I may not want him back, but I don't want to see him hurt."
"So tell us?" Rodney indicated for him to hurry up.
"First of all, Tim is crap at undercover. When he mentioned the dentist, it was a lie. The director then asked me to take a file to him. She had no idea about the dentist thing either."
"Why would she give you file?" Ronan asked.
"That is an excellent question. So I met up with him. He was with a friend and her father. Jeanne flirted, but I told her I had a boyfriend," Tony looked at Gibbs and grinned. "McGee did look shocked by that. But then the father glanced over at a guy reading a paper. He didn't look worried, so I am guessing they were together. When I left, he followed me. He was good, definitely trained. If I hadn't clocked him earlier, I might've missed him."
"Do you think Tim's undercover?" Gibbs asked.
"Yes, I do, and considering how bad at it I think he is, he could be in danger." Just like Abby, Tony didn't want anything to happen to McGee.
"What was the name of the father and daughter?" John asked maybe they could do a bit of research on them.
"Jeanne and Rene Benoit."
"Did you say Rene Benoit?" Gibbs suddenly asked.
"Yes, you know them?"
"Not personally, but Jenny believes Rene Benoit murdered her father and made it look like suicide."
"Crap," Rodney muttered.
