Animan flew to the bakery side door, turning into a ladybug to enter through the crack in the door. He buzzed to the wristband around the banister; Ladybug popping up and trapping him in the box Raven found earlier.

"A ladybug? Smart choice."

"I thought that box was only useful if he-" Raven was cut off by that purple/black cloud, and Animan transforming back into a panther.

"You had to say something!?"

"Sorry bug!"

The trio ran outside- straight for the bus.

"Couldn't he choose a slower-moving animal?!" Cat yelped, jumping after Raven and Ladybug onto the bus. The three teens hid in the back behind the seats, waiting and listening. Once Animan got close enough, they jumped back to the front... but the doors had shut from the force of the villain's jump.

"Where's the button for the doors?" Ladybug groaned, hitting every button she could.

"Of course nothing works! No keys!"

Cat stood between her and Raven, keeping an eye on everyone with his staff extended. He turned to Ladybug to say something but he missed Animan transform again into a bear.

"Cat!"

The male startled as his staff was jerked from his hands, Raven abruptly between him and the villain. The bear's claws clashed against the staff, the hit forcing the girl to take a step back. Cat braced her, his gaze moving to the bear's face- that purple butterfly appearing.

Ladybug, thinking quick, threw her yo-yo forward, wrapping the string around the bear and forcing his arms away from the other two.

"Thanks, bugaboo."

"One more 'bugaboo' and you'll be bear-bait."

"You love it, you just won't admit it!"

The squabbling was ended by Animan changing once again into a ladybug to escape the rope. Cat grabbed his staff back and threw it like a dart, but missed the bug. The metal pole hit the window and rebounded, missing again and returning to Cat's hand.

Morphing back into a panther, the heroes observed Animan huff in exhausting.

"All these transformations seem to be tiring him out."

"Then let him wear himself out."

"It'll make it easier to capture his akuma." Cat finished for Raven, running to the bus controls. "Cataclysm!"

Pressing his powered hand to the bus controls, the metal eroded and caused the vehicle to go crazy: beeping, flashing, and the doors opening and closing.

"Out the door!" Raven yelled, blocking a swipe from the tired panther. Cat shoved Ladybug out first, reaching a hand to Raven. The girl blocked a second swipe before flipping back and allowing Cat to pull her through the door, attached to his side.

"It's not exactly a cage, but... it'll do." Ladybug stood, watching Animan get trapped as the bus finally short-circuited from Cat's Cataclysm. The trio watched him swipe at the doors before morphing again into a bear, roaring in frustration.

"I don't think he can bear to listen to that noise."

"Really, kitty?"

"Your puns are too much to bear sometimes. For now, we wait."

The three teens watched the villain go from the bear, to a ladybug, to a gorilla- getting increasingly tired with each change.

"Ready to capture the akuma?"

"Let me fly in and grab it."

"Wait."

The gorilla moved slowly from the door to the middle of the bus, collapsing and changing back into a panther.

"It's working! Raven get ready!"

But the heroes joy was cut off by Animan changing shape once more...

"Oh that is SO not fair!" Raven yelled as Animan tore a hole in the bus ceiling and climbed out... as a T-Rex.

"Since when do extinct animals count?!" Cat accused, pointing a clawed finger.

"The T-Rex might have disappeared a long time ago, but technically it's still an animal."

"I still call cheating."

The T-Rex jumped off the bus, landing feet from the teens, and roaring loud enough to hurt the sensitive ears of the cat and raven. Three sets of feet start to back up.

"Well, I know some other animals that will soon be extinct... The raven, the cat and the ladybug!" The teens run, dodging chomps and avoiding getting trampled. They finally make their way to a car, jumping and hiding behind the metal. Once safely behind, Ladybug pulled out her yo-yo.

"Lucky Charm! Huh? A car jack?"

"Too bad Animan doesn't have any flat tires."

"But look how small his front arms are."

"So it won't be great at basketball. What are you getting at?"

"She means he can't reach us if we attack- all you gotta do is avoid his mouth."

"Cat: you climb on top of him where he can't swipe at you, and Raven, you transform and fly above his head. While you two are distracting him, I'll floor him!"

"Sounds like a good plan. I can be very distracting~" Cat purred, nuzzling his nose into Raven's neck. Said girl giggled and blushed, her own head moving instinctively at the ticklish feeling. Ladybug groaned, shifting to separate the pair, but a giant foot smashing the car startled the heroes into moving quick.

"This is gonna be tight!"

"That's what she said!"

"Raven!"

"Yeah, yeah! Raven's Flight!"

The black bird soared upwards, before dive-bombing and pecking at the dinosaur, drawing its attention. Cat took the opportunity to jump and land on the creature's head. Animan could feel him there, trying to shake Cat off but between the feline hero and the oversized raven, he was batting a thousand.

Seeing her opening, Ladybug wound up and whipped her yo-yo, the string encasing the dinosaur's legs and causing it to trip, hitting the ground hard.

"Well, that's weird, we didn't have to use this. What does it mean?"

"Well, I guess that only means we rock as a team."

"Cat Noir, wait!" Cat goes over to retrieve the bracelet, but just narrowly avoids being chopped in half by Animan's massive teeth, pulled back as Raven's talons dig into his shoulder.

"I know what to do." Ladybug smiled before sprinting towards the dinosaur.

"Ladybug!"

"Enjoy your meal!" Ladybug shocked both her partners, as she jumped directly to Animan's mouth.

"No! You're so gonna pay for this!"

"Cat- wait!" Raven appeared next to him, back in human form, and a hand on his shoulder while the other rested on his staff. The pair watch in both shock and confidence, as the creature freezes... before its mouth begins to open. Ladybug appeared, the car jack keeping the villain from biting her or her partners in their attempts to grab the akuma. Once its mouth was opened enough, she hopped out and grabbed the bracelet, breaking the charm; out flies the akuma.

"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

The magic energy flew about, restoring all the damage and the animals back to their places at the zoo, and it swarmed around Raven's waist- healing the injury. Once it was over, she turned to her partners.

"Pound it?" The hug surprised her, Cat's arms around her shoulders.

"Ladybug! That was a wild ride."

"I agree- let's not do that again." Raven smiled, patting her leader's shoulder before Cat's and her Miraculous beeped in tandem.

"Whoops! Better take my whiskers and run!" The feline hero pounced away, the girls watching him go.

"See you next time, Cat Noir."

"I should get going too. I'd rather keep my identity a secret for now."

"Yeah. See ya, Raven."

"Bye bugaboo!" Ladybug just about screeched in frustration as the bird girl took off laughing.

Ella stretched, groaning at the relief in her popping spine. She was sitting on the bench Nino and Marinette occupied a couple of hours ago, Kiismet munching away in her pocket. Ella scribbled away in her journal, before running footsteps drew her attention up.

"Hey!" Adrien smiled wide, his bag swinging behind him as he approached his crush. She mimicked his smile, putting her journal away and standing to meet him.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah!" Adrien extended his arm, allowing Ella to wrap her own around it, before he led the way through the zoo- just a day for the two of them.
