"Every once and in a while you are faced with a choice that will determine the outcome for many others. Well, maybe once in a lifetime you are called upon to do something and given no choice at all. It's a very serious matter and one you should not take lightly. If so you better be ready because you never know when you get the call of heroism." TOM said as the transmission ended. "If you're lucky, you never do because nothing feels worse than the weight of the world on your shoulders. And if you do, you better hope you have someone to lean on because the only way anyone can plant their feet on the ground is with anyone offering any kind of help they can give. From showing you what you must do to a few small words of encouragement."

"So this is the place. Looks every bit as lively."
From atop of a rooftop he observed the city known as GrimmFall and took in the sights.
"Not as dirty as New York with a few new improvements here and there." He said, turning to a gargoyle statue next to him. "Well, they keep some of the classics. You know, you're just as lively as your long lost interdimensional cousin and you got the same sense of humor."
With that said a string shot out of wrists and he was off, swinging through the city.
"The city Madame Web sent me to is called GrimmFall and then she said seek out the mayor and the only obvious place to look would be at City Hall. Hopefully he can tell me where to find the people who are holding Mary Jane."

"The call has been sent out, sir. Huntsmen, both those on teams and those who work solo are responding." Callie reported as she followed Sebben down the hallway.
"Good." Sebben nodded. "What about the air ships?"
"Fueled and ready to go. Agent Fowler has reported he will be personally supervising the evacuations." Callie answered.
"Well if anyone can get the job done it's him." Sebben said with a small smile. "Remind me, he was in the army, right?"
"Army Rangers." Callie corrected. "Been trained to fight in guerilla warfare against enemy countries and Grimm."
"I remember him being a possible candidate for being the next successor of Major Glory but he turned it down." Sebben recalled.
"Yes sir. He's a patriot through and through but he feels more suited where he." Callie said, stopping at the door to Sebben's office.
"Perhaps it was for the best."
Sebben and Callie walked into the former's office only to stop with Callie staring in shock and horror at the sight before them, while Sebben showed a serious emotionless expression one that also seemed tired as well, but no surprise as if he was expecting and waiting for this.
Both of them were looking at the forms they recognize as the Metallikats standing by Phil's desk over the secretary 'Fiona Anderson', or Flay Dante to those that know her true identity of a member of Zero Squadron from Dimension O-000, with Flay on her knees bound and gagged by what appeared to be purple energy staring up at them with an expression that to seemed to be screaming at them to run.
But also to Callie she seemed to carry a more fear than she's ever seen expressed by the other woman in the time she's known her, and she's got a bad feeling that it's not her position or the Metallikats to blame for it.
Mac smirked at them. "Did you miss us? "
"You didn't really think you could get rid of the Metallikats so easy did you?" Molly cut in with her own smirk.
Callie growled as she's prepared her Semblance. "I don't know how you two got out of the scrapheap, but I'll be more happy to throw you back in with the rest of the scrap."
However she stopped as Molly brought claws to Flay's throat with the obvious threat implied as Molly glared at Callie with a dark evil look. "Ah ah let's not be hasty deputy mayor, after all we don't anyone to lose their heads."
Callie clinched her fists angrily but backed down when Sebben placed his hand on her shoulder and nodded at her, though she still stared at the Metallikats with a look of rage and hate.
Mac's smirk seemingly widened. "Smart call and lucky for you we aren't here to settle the score".
Callie blinked in surprise. "What?"
She glanced at Sebben still carrying the same emotionless yet heavy look is staring at his chair with its back turned toward them, and she noticed Flay also eyeing the chair but with fear. She suddenly had this sinking feeling that this situation might be even worse than it appeared.
Mac carried on. "Don't get me wrong I would love nothing more than to show you what we're really capable of and rip, blast or better yet both, you two into pieces." Mac stopped, looking at Sebben. "But we learned from our last encounter, and I'm man enough to admit when I'm probably outmatched mayor."
Molly claws were still at Flay's throat as she laughed, piping up. "Well, well, miracles really do happen, Mac. I never thought I'd see the day when you not only learn from your mistakes, but actually admit something like that."
Mac rather than show anger chuckled and shrugged his shoulders as he smirked at the two standing across from them. "What can I say? I'm a complicated guy."
Molly snorted. "Yeah real complicated, but Mac is actually right for once. We can admit that we got cocky and arrogant because of the power we got from our new lease on life, to the point we thought we could handle and bring down Phil Ken Sebben himself easily head on."
Mac sighed, shaking his head. "Looking back we acted like some arrogant street punks that thought they could take on someone like Robin Redcap Sr. Or heck Chuck Hector." Mac stopped, staring with evil smile toward them. "After all the great Phil Ken Sebben creator of the Silver Age of Hunters, and the Spiral Wielder who's fought and been around since WW2 wouldn't go down so easily would he."
Callie's heart froze as she stammered. "H...how do you know that?"
Molly smirked at her. "That brings us to not only why we're here but also who helped us after our last encounter, and kept that hack Hackle from brainwashing and turning us into his robo maid and butler. "
Mac laughed. "Not mention frying the good perfesser extra crispy while she was at it!"
Callie angrily inquired trying to fish for information. "Who are you talking about, Sammael, those Racing Drones?"
Phil Ken Sebben sighed. "No, no Miss Briggs they aren't."
Suddenly a dark laugh along with a voice could be heard from Sebben's chair. "That they are not."
It swung around revealing the form of a woman with very long purple hair and a bird in her lap that flew up onto Phil's desk.
The woman leans across the desk smiling an evil smile though her eyes hint toward anger as she looks at Phil. "We'd introduce ourselves but I get the feeling you already know who we are."
Phil replied with guarded tone. "I do indeed Lady of Chaos Nyx Kane daughter of Mitimotu Princess and Satyra agent Lana Kane, and your familiar here I believe is Professor Pericles formerly of Mystery Incorporated, who's reported death was exaggerated it seems."
Nyx smirk seemed widen in reply but at the same time so did the anger in her eyes, as she leaned back and kicked up her feet on the desk. "You won't believe how hard it is to get an appointment with the great," Nyx's took a sarcastic edge. "Phil Ken Sebben, not to mention having to deal with such a rude secretary."
Flay muffled angrily through her energy gag, only to suddenly get shocked and let loose a muffled cry of pain, much to the amusement of the Metallikats particularly Molly who remembered their last meeting and clash.
"STOP IT!" Callie shouted.
Just as it sudden as it started the electrocution stop with Flay breathing heavily.
Nyx laughed with bitter tone to Sebben. "You actually think you have the f ucking right to stand there like you have the high moral ground, after everything you've not only done but allowed to happen? Well here's a News Flash for you, Sammael, Cipher, Klarion, you're no BETTER THAN THEM!"
Sebben barely even blinked.
Nyx growled with her eyes filled with purple energy. "And it doesn't stop with me does it , the Pines and Gilligan familys, Chuck Hector, Team RGCK, the list goes on and no. A list filled with not only innocents you not only allowed to suffer or people, but also people who trusted you or even called you friend that you back stabbed, AND FOR WHAT!?"
Callie looked ready to attack but Sebben calmly held a hand out in front of her as Nyx took a sarcastic edge. "That so called golden future where Sammael and all the other baddies are beaten, and everyone else gets their happy ending. HA! At least that's the crud you've fed everyone you've duped into following or believing in you, there's a reason a utopia for everyone is a fantasy after all."
Nyx angrily pointing at Sebben. "You've become so driven and focused on defeating Sammael for good, that not only do you not care who gets hurt or sacrificed in the process. But you also don't care what other threats that are created or given a foothold in the process! After all me and your so called secretary are proof of that," Nyx turned toward the bound Fiona who's eyes widen in shock at her next words. "Isn't that right Miss Anderson or should I say Flay Dante of the Zero Squadron aka the so called faceless ones."
Flay's eyes widened in sheer surprise.
Nyx chuckled at Flay. "Oh don't look so shocked do you really think that others outside of mayor one eye here don't know or can't find out who you and your friends really are? Speaking of which admit kinda of torn on you Zero Squadron stiffs, on one hands you've been causing some amusing chaos."
Nyx held up three fingers with each one going down with each example she listed off. "I mean so far you've called out Satyra uncaring of how they might retaliate or who would get hurt in the crossfire, spied on and stolen information on the so called protectors and heroes, oh and of course practically handed that replica Gem of Destruction to Sammael while under the frankly ridiculous delusion it was the genuine article."
Callie's eyes widened and she stared at Flay. "You thought you gave the Gem of Destruction of to Sammael?!"
"Indeed she did." Nyx said with heavy sarcastic tone and smile at Flay. "And while it wasn't it's still dangerous not only in itself, but because it might be the very key that will allow him to find the REAL Gem of Destruction, so good job there!" Nyx then laughed. "I can already imagine the chaos and destruction that will happen, and all because you had to put your noses where they don't belong."
Nyx gains a displeased look as she looked over at those in the Mayor Office. "Which brings us to why I'm on the fence and partially don't like you military goons, you might have some cool toys, and have stirred up some amusing chaos. But your all not only two faced hypocrites so condescending believing yourselves superior to the people of this dimension, that you know better, that you can just roll in and take care of this worlds problem just like that."
Nyx snapped her fingers for emphasis as she scoffed. "I mean where do you get off?! It just reminds me of Klarion thinking he's still my better and I'm just his pawn, and I HATE THAT!"
She threw her arm letting loose a magical blast at Flay that luckily misses her by a few inches and hits the wall with a small blast, as Nyx glared with purple energy filled at eyes, filling Flay with perhaps more fear she's ever felt in her career and making her wonder despite herself if today is the day she dies.
Nyx anger faded as she chuckles and regains her smirk and turns back to Sebben and Callie. "But I forget myself I believe that your secretary and assistant might be wondering why I used the Zero Squadron as a example as a threat to this dimension." Nyx smirk widened like a shark. "Tell me Sebben in all those endless futures you've observed were there really none where the Zero Squadron or to be more precise their home dimension became a threat to this world and its people."
Nyx flashed a dark look or amusement at Flay. "After all considering that dimensions history and the power of those in this reality, are there really no potential futures that the governments of their dimensions decided to nip a threat to their reality in the bud by invading and destroying it?"
"Oh would you shut up already?!" Callie finally shouted, having enough Nyx's ranting.
Nyx narrowed her eyes at Callie. "You got something to say?"
"Other than you're a deranged psychotic brat who has no right to judge Sebben, Flay or anyone in light of what you have done. It's not like you're any better than anyone here or even Sammael." Callie retorted. "We're well aware of your actions, Nyx. An old friend of yours happened to mention it. A boy in a certain suit of armor."
Nyx's eyes flashed as she smirked. "Ah, him. The one who had the stones to accuse me of cowardice."
"Is he wrong?" Callie retorted.
"Does this look like the work of a coward to you?" Nyx asked, gesturing to Flay.
"No, it's more like the work of psychotic brat who hides behind people she uses as shields and just so she can poke whatever so-called crimes they are guilty of. Who only likes to play games of guilt to hurt them. Such a cheap tactic from a being supposedly powerful enough to be called an entity of chaos." Callie retorted. "You're the ones who have killed people without discrimination, not me, Sebben or even Flay. You have little to no right to accuse Sebben of being a liar when you yourself cannot see the future."
"And he's so sure he can see the golden future where everything turns out all right? Honey, you clearly have your head buried in all the little fairy tales mommy read to you as a kitten." Nyx rolled her eyes.
Callie growled but Sebben held up his hand again. "You're not wrong, Nyx. There is no future that is not without sacrifice, even the perfect possible one. That one future will require the hard work and sacrifice of all of us…including you."
"Moi?" Nyx gestured to herself with a smirk. "I'm flattered. But why would I help someone who lets children suffer?"
"You mean you." Sebben replied calmly. "You think I would actually let a little girl suffer torment at the hands of someone like Klarion?"
"You already did." Nyx scoffed.
"Not knowingly." Sebben calmly but tiredly rebuffed. "Don't you think I would have wanted to keep Klarion from gaining an agent in this universe? If so it would have been in my best interest to send someone to set you free from him."
Nyx narrowed her eyes. "So this is the part where you tell me you didn't know what happened to weak, crybaby Nyx even though you have the Spiral Gem of Sight that can show you not only the future but also peer through space and time to almost anywhere in the universe."
"It's true, the Gem offers me that kind of sight. However there are beings who can shield themselves and even entire places from even the Gem of Sight. Like how Bill Cipher had his minions shield all of Gravity Falls from my sight." Sebben stated.
"Liar!" Nyx barked, eyes flashing.
"You're the liar here, Nyx! You lied to Juniper Lee, turned her against her family so you could use her to open a pathway to the Elders!" Callie retorted. "You claim to care for the people you bring in but that's you convincing yourself that you are nothing like Bill, Klarion or even Sammael. You know Cipher, you know that's the exactly kind of thing he would do."
Nyx snarled, refusing to believe a word they were saying but Sebben cut in. "Would you like to know your future, Nyx?"
"Oh, please. Indulge me." Nyx smirked, amused by what possible future Sebben would tell her.
"You seek to become powerful enough to challenge everyone: Klarion, Bill, Sammael and even GOLB and you know a way to do it. However your path to that power not only endangers the people you love but will make you an unwitting pawn in the desires of someone else." Sebben answered.
"And who would that be?" Nyx sarcastically asked.
"That's for you to find out and when you do, your choices will endanger the life of the one you love most." Sebben finished.
Nyx rolled her eyes. "So you know of my deal with Sammael, huh?"
"I do and that was the worst mistake you ever could have made. Sammael knows you are serious about wanting to come out on top out of everyone on his board and you gave him the perfect opportunity to hurt you more than Klarion or Bill ever could." Sebben warned.
"And who is the one I love most? I mean, old and weak Nyx died and when she did all that was human in her died to be reborn as the lovely Lady of Chaos you see before you. Even if my familiar showed me all my past memories I feel absolutely nothing for them." Nyx held up a glowing hand. "No remorse, happiness or sadness. Nothing remains of my pathetic former self. So who is the one I love most? My familiar, my dear mommy who I finally got to see, or my dear older sister who I left in the burning remains of our former home?"
"No. Someone you have loved enough that you would sacrifice everything, including your entire being for. Even your existence as a Lady of Chaos." Sebben answered.
Nyx rolled her eyes. "Descriptive as always."
"If I told you everything up front not only would it not come to pass you wouldn't even believe me if I told you. It seems you are missing a large part of your memories." Sebben observed.
"Please, don't try that card on me. Pericles already told me everything I needed to know about my weak and pathetic former self." Nyx patted her familiar on the head. "I know everything I need to know."
"So you know about the Pillow World." Sebben stated.
That made Nyx pause. "What?"
"A former Huntress who used to work with me but is now retired is currently in Gravity Falls and she has heard your tale." Sebben explained. "You lived with your older sister in a foster home, you learned the art of Chaos magic under Klarion and when you defied him that one time he punished you by sending you to the Pillow World, a pocket dimension to live out your human life. He wanted you to spend your mortal life in pain, never seeing your friends or family again and he took it a step further by sending a friend with you to make it even more torturous."
"You're lying again." Nyx accused.
"No, I speak the truth. If there is one thing Bill and Klarion despise it is basic compassion that compels others to do the small things in life, simple good deeds of kindness and love. You did that one time and they punished you dearly for it." Sebben pressed.
"Yeah, so what? They got what they wanted. I'm a Lady of Chaos now, I feel absolutely nothing but pure disgust for the likes of you people. I only exist to find ways to entertain me now and maybe bring a few friends along for the ride that have had their bad luck in life." Nyx said, gesturing to the Metallikats. "Case in point. So what if Mac and Molly were criminals? Did they deserve to have their bodies destroyed, their minds downloaded into these metallic shells and then be reprogrammed as slaves to a foolish old man?"
"Yeah, Mayor. Where was the simple kind act in that?" Mac asked.
"That was a series of unfortunate events. You did not deserve that…However that does not absolve you of your other crimes. Murder, theft, bribery, extortion. Whatever your misfortunes are if you are expecting me to simply take pity on you and forget what you have done perhaps you should look to a place where crime is looked on more favorably." Sebben calmly said before looking at Nyx. "Nor does your own hard life excuse you for what have done and for what you plan to do. And I hope you realize that before the consequences of your actions become too severe."
"Hmph, so self-righteous." Nyx scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Shall we put that to the test?"
With a snap of her fingers Mac brought his blade to Flay's throat. Callie snarled but Sebben kept calm, noticing a shadow behind Nyx but did not give it away.
"And what purpose is there in harming Flay?" Sebben asked.
"Maybe nothing. After all, isn't that what chaos is? A point of events that are without order or reason." Nyx rhetorically asked. "Or perhaps you can see what I want through that fancy eye of yours. Perhaps you see something that I want and I won't stop until I have it."
"I do. You want the piece of the Planispheric Disk that is locked in the Omega Vault at the Hall of Heroes." Sebben stated.
Nyx grinned, holding up one finger. "BINGO!"
"Wait, if you were after something in the vault at the Hall of Heroes why come to City Hall?" Callie questioned. "It's not as if we have the keys."
"No, but you have something more valuable." Nyx patted Flay on the head. "A hostage. Surely the Justice Friends wouldn't be so cruel to let someone, even if that person is not from their world and has no business here, die when they could have prevented it. Right?"
"You want to use Flay as a hostage to get me and the Justice Friends into cooperating with opening the vault." Sebben stated.
"Right. And you, Sebben." Nyx pointed at the mayor. "Will be the one to go and fetch me that piece. We'll be waiting right here with your deputy mayor and secretary and if you're not back very soon your walls will receive a sweet new red coating."
Sebben narrowed his one eye. "I do not respond to threats, Nyx."
"And I don't make threats. I make promises. Get me the disk piece and you won't have two more deaths on your hands." Nyx grinned as her eyes flashed purple.
"Hey there!"
Nyx spun around, just in time for something to hit her in the face. "GAH?! WHAT THE?!"
"Is this a private party or can anyone join?"
Hanging outside the window was a man dressed in a blue and red skin-tight outfit with white eyes and a black spider web pattern traveling down his face and chest with a black spider symbol on the chest and similar web patterns on his gloves and feet. He swung it, kicking both of his feet at Mac and Molly as they turned around. The strength of his kicks actually knocked a few teeth out as the Metallikats hit the floor.
"I may not be from around here but I'll have you know the best way to get what you want is to always ask nicely and say the magic word." The man said as he grabbed Flay, tossing her to Callie who caught her. "That's 'please' by the way."
Pericles let out a howl as he flew at the man, trying to catch him in his Semblance but Sebben appeared in front of him. 'Curses! His Semblance allows him to move faster than I can see!'
With a simple whack of his cane, Sebben sent Pericles crashing into Nyx who had just gotten the webbing off her face, knocking them both down.
"That was close. I know office work isn't for everyone but it's still an important job and someone has to do it. Otherwise how you do keep a city from falling apart?" The man asked with a humorous tone. "I'm all for the unexpected but what you think is just plain loco."
Nyx growled as she got back up. "And just who do you think you are?"
"Me? I'm just a friendly neighborhood tourist who is enjoying his first day in the big city. Now if only it was without the usual psychotic robots and ladies who like showing off a little too much I could be grabbing a hot dog at a local vendor by now." The man answered, jumping up and sticking to the ceiling. "Seriously how is that top even holding together?"
"It's holding better than you'll be in a second!" Nyx shouted, gathering energy in her hands.
That was when Sebben moved in front of her, using his cane to bat away her energy spheres.
'Damn it! I got distracted and his cane can hurt me like that damn boomerang did!' She thought as she barely dodged.
She grabbed the Metalliktas and purple fire engulfed them as she threw one final glare at Sebben and the strange man. "This is not over Sebben and not you either, you-you...spider wannabee!"
"The name is Spider-Man." The man said, jumping off the ceiling and landing on his feet as Nyx and her accomplices vanished along with the fire. "Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."
