MIDORIYA

He does love me. I look at Todoroki as he begins to snore. I touch Todoroki damp forehead as I wonder if he spoke about this to anyone. I doubt it. He didn't even like talking to his boyfriend. I make sure he is okay before fixing a second plate and leaving the room. I want to give him some time to rest.

After what happened in his dorm room, I didn't want to talk to anyone about it. Not even Shinsou who saw this coming. I know he was tired of me talking about Todoroki so I decided to keep this to myself. I sit down on the living couch feeling weird. I'm in love, I'm in love with my soon to be step brother. I sigh as I pull out my phone because I want to know more about Todoroki.

The first thing I do is go to his Facebook. God how does he manage to look to good. It looks like he tried to take a selfie. His hand is half covering one corner, yet it still looks good. I see he has the basic information. What high school he attends, birthday, the remaining information is hidden as we have to be friends. I still doubt he would have that much on there anyway. I send him a friend request. I discover he also has a Twitter which he barely uses. He does use his Instagram a lot more. He doesn't have a Snapchat at all.

I take a bite of the pizza going to google pulling up Enji. I want to know who he was married to. I pull up a wedding photo of her and Enji. They look um off in the photo. Enji isn't even smiling but she is. Based on the date they got married they started having kids right away. I discover Todoroki mom name is Rei. I must admit she is really pretty. I can see why Todoroki turned out so damn gorgeous. I shake my head reminding myself to stay focus.

I can see they took a lot of pictures that were posted online during that time. I noticed after 8 years they just suddenly stop. I still see plenty pictures of the kids here and there as the public almost seems obsessed with them. I guess Todoroki wasn't kidding when he said his name really holds some power. I type in Rei name and I learn she comes from a wealthy family. Beyond that I can't find anything. It's like she disappeared. I continue to dig until I hear the keys in the door. I put up my phone standing up.

"You think they will like that?" she asks.

"How can they not," says Enji with bags in his hand. "It's a great idea."

"Hey," I reply walking over. "Did you need some help?"

"That would be nice," states Enji. I grab some bags as we head into the kitchen.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Should we tell him?" ask mom.

"If you want," he replies. "Where is Shouto?"

"He's tired and needed a nap," I explain.

"A nap?" questioned Enji opening the fridge. "I'm not use to him taking naps." I think quickly.

"Mid terms were really rough in the hero course," I reply. "They had to fight the staff in one on one matches."

"I know my boy passed," he replies. "Did you happen to see this?"

"I wish," I reply. I love watching the students in the hero course. I wish I could have seen Todoroki in action. Since it was mid terms there was no way I would have been able to sneak in and watch.

"I know he did just fabulous," replies mom. She looks at me.

"So, you know the wedding is in September," she explains. I nod. Mom was going to go for a May wedding but wanted more time to plan. She wants an outdoor wedding and decided September was perfect as it won't be too hot or cold. "Although we are planning for the wedding Enji and I support you and Todoroki decisions. We want to get an apartment for you two."

"What?" I question. Are they serious?

"I know Shouto is going to be working right away," says Enji. "Your mom said you are planning to go to college. I don't want you to work and go to school. You should be able to focus on your studies. Just don't fail any classes. We will pay for the rent, utilities and food. Everything else you will be on your own." I'm in shock. I don't even know what to say.

"T-thank you," I reply. I begin to smile. This is truly a blessing. I will still need a job for extra funds. Now I can really work part time instead of full time. Mom grabs my hands.

"I'm so excited for you sweetheart," she replies. "I recommend finding a place close to Todoroki job and your school."

"What do you mean," says Enji. "He's going to be working at my agency."

"I don't recall him saying so," says mom letting go of my hands. "Maybe he wants to explore his options."

"There are no other options," states Enji. Mom looks serious as she places her hands on her hips.

"Enji, Shouto is 18 years old," she says firmly. "He is an adult who can make his own decisions."

"To an extent," he replies. "I'm the one paying his bills." Mom shakes her head as I work to keep my face even.

"He didn't ask you to," she says. "I don't want you to end up pushing him away." Todoroki already has a strained relationship with his dad. I don't know how he will feel about this whole apartment thing. I'm excited to not have to worry about finances so much but Todoroki probably isn't going to like this.

"He's my son," he replies. "I expect him to push me away."

"It shouldn't be that way," says mom.

"Did you need help with anything else?" I ask wanting to get the hell away from this conversation.

"I think we got it from here," says mom. I take two water bottles before leaving the kitchen. This is the first time I have heard them have a disagreement. It was weird to hear. Enji sounds stubborn as hell. It's like he wants to control every area of Todoroki's life. I can somewhat understand why Todoroki wants to be on his own away from him. I get back to the room to see Todoroki has turned on his side. I sit the water bottle on the nightstand. Something tells me he is going to wake up with a headache.

I turn the TV to something entertaining as I search on my laptop for an apartment. We are going to need our own room for sure. I am not going to go for the most expensive but certainly not the cheapest either. I have a good list going when Todoroki starts shifting around.

"Ughhh…" he groans. Reminds me of when I drank too much at his birthday party. So glad I am not feeling that way right. I feel sorry that he is though.

"Todoroki," I say lowly. "I got some water and aspirin for you."

"Thanks," he mutters reaching for the water and medicine. He takes them before speaking again. "God what time is it?"

"It's after 11," I inform him.

"Jesus," he says laying back on the pillow. "My head hurts a little."

"I bet," I replied looking down at him.

"What did I miss?" he asks.

"Well your dad wants to pay for us to share an apartment together," I reply. Todoroki sits up quickly scaring the hell out me with his fists balled up.

"What's the catch!" he demands.

"Probably the fact he wants you to work at his agency….." I say slowly. Todoroki looks down at his lap.

"Fuck," he hisses. "I really don't want to work for him."

"I know," I replied. "I know you want to get out on your own. My mom kind of tried to tell him that in her own words and that didn't go to well." He gazes at me raising one eyebrow.

"Really?" he asks. I nod my head.

"It was a little intense," I admit. "I just got the hell out there. I can't lie, your dad offer means a lot to me. I would only have to worry about extra cost outside of rent, utilities and food. I need to look for a part time job so I can at least have money to handle other things." Todoroki nods relaxing. He glances at my computer screen.

"You're looking already," he states. I nod head.

"I found a few that are decent," I reply.

"That means someone has chosen a college," he hints at with a small smile.

"Yes…" I blush because of how he is looking at me. Todoroki quickly leans over kissing my cheek. I freeze up. He kissed me. I mean well it was just my cheek but still. I turn to look at him but he goes into the bathroom before I could see his face. I rub my cheek that he kissed. That felt…nice. I look down at my laptop trying not to get hard over a cheek kiss but how can I not… I hear Todoroki turn on the shower. I breathe easier knowing he won't come out for a minute. I should be recovered by then. I go back to looking at apartments distracting myself from what I really want to do.
