I've returned to the FFnet after three years on hiatus. I'm remembering why I found this community so fascinating to begin with, how intricate our selves are wound up in these characters. I want to explore these lands with new eyes. I believe the places we create and webs we weave are integral to discovering a part of ourselves both intrinsic and raw (what may be perceived by any conformist as dangerously so), and they should be accepted. For example, what started off for me as a simple H/C equation has now become a very interesting experiment in dialogue... relationships... action, reaction, proaction; I feel I am opening up facets and layers.

Of course, I could be very wrong.

I don't tend to stray from the regular 'ships', as such. You know. Janeway/Chakotay, Grissom/Sara, Jane/Lisbon. I think the writers give us little morsels and particularly the last pairing there is far too fun to not take the bait.

In other news, I like to drink tea, watch Hayao Miyazaki movies, and do Bikram Yoga at 6am in the morning.
