Chapter 10: Consequences

Review Replies

Sci-Fi FREAK: The Asari from "Mass Effect" are great. Best one of them all is Liara, without a doubt. There is also Tali and Vetra from the same series. But, if you need ideas I got a few:

Starfire and Supergirl from DC, Gamora and Caiera from Marvel, Ryoko, Ryo-ohki(adult cabbit woman), and Ayeka from Tenchi Muyo

Ahsoka, Barriss, Riyo, and a Twi'Lek woman from Star Wars, and Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft. Anyway, these are just ideas of alien girls they could find in the base. Up to you if you use them or not. Looking forward to the next chapter and the DLC!

ThermalsniperN7: Thanks on all accounts.

Dragon Emperor0: Much appreciated.

Romance Breeding:Let's hope that the Captain can be trusted. Because if the people high up learn that they are pregnant and also super powered, they might try to kidnap them and force them into breeding machines and force them to birth an army of living weapons. I'm sure that V wouldn't let that happen. Just saying that he needs to be careful with who to already got the fourth sister, when she gets her humanoid form, she will likely become an even more valued target.

ThermalsniperN7: Oh yeah. That's definitely true. V's gonna raze hell if they try anything. Hell, he might desert the military if anything happens to his girls.

Dragon Emperor0: Yeah.

-V and Jackie's house-

V blinked as he woke up with a groan, feeling Raiko kissing and sucking on his neck. Ebony and Ivory were still asleep while Meredith had already left for work. He put his hand on his green haired shark woman's ass and gave it a squeeze, causing her to moan.

"What's the matter with you? You're never usually this forward in the mornings." The man noted as he kissed her lovingly.

"I just wanted a change of pace. You obviously aren't complaining." Raiko giggled as she snuggled into her man. V chuckled a bit before he frowned.

"Raiko, listen. I saw something last night. It involves that shark over at Site P." He began, getting her attention.

"What about it?" She asked.

"That shark is your big sister." V revealed, much to her shock. "And she's being abused." He added, sounding very displeased about it. That caused electricity to bounce off her body angrily as she scowled and gritted her teeth furiously, which made her look very scary to untrained souls.

"We're doing something about this, right?!" She growled, waking up her sisters. When they realized their blue sibling was angry, they grew concerned.

"Sister, what's wrong?" Ebony asked in worry.

"Our elder sister at Site P is being abused!" The angry shark woman growled in reply.

"I'm already planning on talking to my CO about it. But for now, let's all get dressed first." V told them as they got up and went into the shower to get cleaned up. The Nomad was holding Ebony up by her thighs while they made out, Raiko giving him a hungry blow job and Ivory on all fours eating her cerulean skinned sister out.

Once they were done having fun in their shower, they all got dressed and went downstairs where Jackie was watching TV with Manny on his lap.

"Hey/Morning Jack/Jackie." They greeted the man as they all got something to eat.

"Hey everyone!" The man smiled. "Hey, you seen that broadcast last night? Ya know, the one from that Trip guy?" He asked as he walked over to them and grabbed a bottle of Sidral Mundet from the fridge.

"Oh, I saw it alright… and I'm pissed!" V growled, causing Jackie to flinch out of reflex. If there was one thing he and everyone else aboard their aircraft carrier knew about V, it was that him being angry was never good.

"Uh… You're gonna confront Captain Ishmael about this, aren't you?" The street kid gulped.

"Yeah, Jackie, that's exactly what I'm gonna do." He nodded as Johnny appeared and sat down next to Jackie.

"I know it's probably none of my business, but what's got you so hot under the collar for this shark anyway?" The engram asked. "I mean don't get me wrong, I love sharks just as much as the next guy. But what's it about? Is it the animal lover in you? Or are you just that eager to add another piece of aquatic ass to your little collection here?"

"... Okay, you can fuck off on that last one." The Nomad shot back flatly, though he did wonder how Kujira would look as an anthro… And now he wants her. "What has me bordering on incensed is the fact the shark in question is being abused!" V continued with a hiss so venomous that Jackie froze.

"So animal lover part. Got it." The rocker nodded.

"... One sec." He said before looking for recent recordings on the TV before finding what he was looking for. "Aha! Here. The broadcast got recorded. This should help when you confront the captain." He stated.

"Thanks Jackie. And I wasn't talking to you by the way." The Nomad told him. "I was talking to… Ya know the construct on the Relic?" He asked.

"Oh shit, he's active? Huh." Jackie said with a blink. "By the way, are you gonna use the chance to tell Ishmael about the girls?" He asked.

"That depends, girls?" The soldier asked the three of his four wives present. The trio gave this some thought in a private sisterly huddle for a couple minutes before nodding. "Might as well." V nodded.

"Alright. That should address one problem before it starts." The bruiser nodded. "Anyway, other than confronting our CO, got any plans today?" He then asked.

"Nothing that I can think of—hold on." The Nomad said as he suddenly got a call. "Talk." He said.

"Takemura here." The middle aged Japanese man on the other end said. "We must meet. Come to Tom's Diner." He told him.

"May I ask why?" V inquired.

"Because I know of your heist on the night of Saburo Arasaka's murder, and wish to enlist your services." The man said, his tone sounding oddly frank.

"So you know… alright. I'll head there. There's something I'd like to bring up with you, too. I'll explain when I'm there." The soldier nodded before hanging up. "Looks like I've got more plans." He mused.

"Want me to come with?" Jackie asked.

"Nah. I'll be fine." Was the Nomad's reply. "You girls okay with staying here until I get back?" He asked.

"Yeah." They nodded as he and Jackie got up.

"Well, I'm gonna go pick up Misty. She and I are gonna go look at our new digs once the Eddies come in." The chumba chuckles.

"Take care out there." V smiled as he gave his friend a fist bump and kissed his girls goodbye, before going to Tom's Diner in his car.

As he got out and walked into the diner, which looked like an establishment that belonged in the fifties. Old booths, a bar, old kitchen, you know the drill. He soon saw Takemura sitting in a booth near the door, which he sat in.

"You look much more—how you say?—'soldier-like' in person, Mr. V." The man said to him, taking a drink from the coffee that was right next to him in an old styled cardboard cup.

"It comes with being in the Navy." V shrugged. "Now, you wished to employ my services. Why?" He asked.

"To begin, I was hoping you could help me find the woman known as Evelyn Parker." Takemura states.

"Wait, she went missing? When?" V got out in surprise, not expecting the blue haired woman to vanish.

"As far as I know, she went missing two days ago, after settling her affairs with the Fixer, Dexter DeShaun." The bodyguard nodded. "If I am correct, you need her help removing the Relic so that it and your mind are not damaged, correct?" He asked.

"Well, not exactly." V began. "I haven't really suffered any ill effects from the chip, so I'm not sure I need it removed just yet." He continued. "My Ripperdoc said he'd be reinforcing my neuro port to help with the short term. But if you're referring to the long term, then that's different." He added further.

"I see." Takemura nodded.

"Why do you want her, anyway?" The man asked.

"She, Karai and Yorinobu had intimate relations. So she will be useful for getting under their skins." He replied.

"Okay…" The Merc nodded.

"Tell me, out of curiosity, does she by chance work for a corporation?" Takemura asked.

"She does look the type. She's even got that cunning corpos have." V mused as he thought back to Evelyn's characteristics.

"I too, possess this brand of cunning you speak of." The man told him.

"You got lumped in with the outcasts, easily, I might add." The Nomad retorted.

"Hmm, this is true." The bodyguard nodded.

"Anyway, there was one thing I wanted to bring up." V began. "I trust that you heard that broadcast last night?" He inquired, getting a nod in return.

"I am uncertain of what is true or false in that broadcast, but… What I am certain of is that treating an animal such as that in such a way will spell disaster." Takemura replied. "Why are you bringing this up?" He inquired in confusion.

"If I help you with whatever you need, I want you to help me with what I plan to do at Site P in return." The man replied. "That sound reasonable?" He asked.

"Of course." The man nodded. "And what I wish for you to do is to help me have Karai and Yorinobu answer for their crime of Patricide." He continued.

"Hold on, I thought it was the Shredder who killed him?" V questioned, deciding to keep what he knew quiet.

"That is what the evidence suggests. However, I am… Skeptical." Takemura nodded. "While poison is a trademark tactic of shinobi no mono like Saki, and matches his tendency for dishonorable methods of achieving his goals." He continued. "That tactic in particular does not match what you would call his MO." He added.

"So you're of the opinion his daughter did it?" V asked, seeing where this was going.

"Under the guidance of Yorinobu, yes." He nodded. "After all, the poison does match the neurotoxin she creates in her serpentine form."

"And you're looking to bring about justice? In Night City? What are you, blind? That doesn't work here." The Merc stated.

"I believe 'revenge' is more appropriate. And also much more feasible." The bodyguard replied. "I have allies ready to bring Yorinobu and Karai to their knees. Proof is all I am lacking in." He added.

"And you think they'll trust the word of a merc, even if they're also in the Navy?" V questioned.

"I don't have anything better now. Also, I know no one here, and I am a fugitive. I am hunted." Takemura sighed.

"And let's say I said no. Hypothetically, I mean." V replied.

"Then I would tell you what I could do for you if you help me." He responded. "And how we can do it."

"That being…?" The Nomad asked. "I mean seriously, how do we even do it? Walk into Arasaka Tower and say Yorinobu is a kin killer?" He asked.

"We will get a hearing before reasonable people in an unbiased location. There will also be certain procedures that will be employed to establish the truth." The man explained.

"Like what? A lie-detector?" V asked rhetorically.

"In a sense. I take it you object?" The bodyguard asked.

"On the grounds it could be rigged in someone's favor." The Nomad shrugged.

"Then in that case, another option. You said that having the Relic in your head long term would not be beneficial to you or its safety and well being. A piece of technology that was created by Arasaka." Takemura told him. "This corporation can help you just as easily as it can make you disappear. It is simply a matter of getting the right people on your side, politics." He continued.

"What kind of people are we talking about here?" The Navy soldier questioned.

"People who care dearly about Arasaka, are its heart, and are interested in the corporation's stable growth." The man replied.

"You mean like Hanako Arasaka, and Anders Hellman." The Nomad said flatly.

"You have done your research I see." Takemura noted. "How did you come across Hellman?" He asked.

"Had to know what we could to prep for the heist. The Relic is Hellman's creation." V stated. The bodyguard shook his head in response.

"Untrue. He is merely a pawn. I was thinking of someone much more powerful." He said. "Besides, Anders Hellman betrayed Arasaka and escaped." He added. It was at this point a broadcast came on that caught the Japanese man's attention.

It was a news interview with Hanako Arasaka Though the context was lost when the channel was suddenly changed to a different channel, one that was oddly enough advertising job opportunities for Hunt Industries in Port Clovis.

"Fuckin' 'Saka shit's everywhere." The man behind the counter grunted.

"Hey! I was watching that!" Takemura protested.

"Shut your trap. Nobody but you wants to watch that shit about that Corpo cunt." The man sneered.

"What did you just say?!" The bodyguard growled as he stood up.

"Takemura, calm down." V urged. "Also, switch to another channel. I'm not interested in hearing shit about Port Clovis." He added.

"At least one of you has a brain." The worker grunted. "And sure. I was about to, anyway." He added before the channel changed to a soccer game. Takemura then sat back down.

"Look, last thing we need, is for you to draw attention." The Nomad states.

"A stupid reflex of mine. I'm sorry." The man said apologetically.

"Anyway, thanks for the offer. Once I've given it some thought, I'll get back to you." V told him.

"I need to take time to prepare. All I ask is that you do not leave the city." Takemura told him.

"Not like that's possible, I have a home here. And soon, a family." The Merc shrugged. "Though with a month of my leave almost up, I'll probably be called back to sea in five months. So we'll need to be expedient." He continued. "And besides, the best way I can get the chip out is to find the help I need here." He concluded.

"Of course." Takemura nodded. "But to find help from someone other than Arasaka specialists? There are no alternatives." He added.

"We just talked about some, actually." V corrected. "I should be able to track down Evelyn with some luck." He added.

"If you did not know where she was three days ago, I doubt you will now." The man started. "If I were you, I'd figure out a plan B."

"If all else fails with Evelyn, I'll try Helman. He's probably my best bet besides her." V responded.

"Regardless, all roads seem to lead to one place—the club called the Afterlife." Takemura said. "When I went there, I was quickly turned away by the queen of fixers—Rogue." He continued.

"You're saying that, despite working for Saburo, you have no idea how to talk to the high and mighty?" V asked incredulously.

"She said she had no intention on working with someone supposed of being complacent in the murder of Saburo Arasaka." Takemura explained.

"Rogue's well informed. She hears about most of the stuff that happens in the city. Could ask her about how to get to Helman." V noted idly. "Should probably call Dex and see what he thinks." He added with a nod.

"I wish You luck. The woman is choosy, expensive and rude. I wish you luck in your efforts." Takemura told him. He then looked around before turning to the Navy man. "I cannot afford to stay here any longer. Do this as you will. Look for Parker, Helman, either of them. I must see some friends and call in some favors." He said before getting up. "When my people in Arasaka are ready to listen, I will call you." He finished.

"I'll hold you to it. My plans for Site P are up in the air until I confront my CO about the broadcast. The way they go depends on how that goes." V nodded.

"If you find Hellman by some miracle, please notify me. The two of us have unfinished business." He nodded. "And please do inform me of your plans when they are finished being formed." He added.

"Will do." V nodded. Takemura then left… just in time for Johnny to reappear and sit where he was.

"Surprise, surprise. Zapper-dumples and filth. Port Iris doesn't change in some ways, I guess." The engram mused. "Arasaka's still a despotic machine while the world continues on its collision course with chaos. But hey, at least Rogue is still kicking." He added with a shrug.

"Silver linings often look grey when you look at them for too long." The Nomad said as his hand rested on the back of the booth.

"Where'd ya hear that? In a philosophy book?" The rocker scoffed.

"No, it's an old saying my grandfather and great grandfather used to say. Maybe you've heard of them? Earnest "The King Shark" Verne and Jules "Captain Nemo" Verne II?" The soldier replied.

"Yeah. Why?" Johnny asked before connecting the dots. "... Fuck me sideways. How'd that go over my head?" He wondered to himself. Shaking his head, he changed the subject. "You know, you don't have to talk out loud to speak to me. Just think what to say to me, and I'll respond. It'll get you less odd looks." He told the Navy soldier.

"Fine." The man said mentally. "What do you want to talk about now, anyway?" He questioned.

"That's more like it." The rocker nodded. "Okay, listen. We can help each other out for sure. We can start with Rogue since she and I got back to the stone age." He said.

"You're basically the ghost of Christmas past. Pretty sure your friends are either dead or so old their memory's in shambles." V stated.

"Johnny Silverhand died a legend. That's not something they forget." The engram stated.

"So how exactly do we explain you living in my noggin to Rogue? It'd be weird if I just told her the voice of her dead friend Johnny is in my head." The soldier said, thinking that was a bad way to go.

"Trust me, Rogue's heard dumber shit than that. Way back, even before you weren't even an itch in your daddy's ball sack." Johnny retorted.

"Hey, don't go talking about my old man like that. He got himself offed while trying to protect my mom and I. Killed by a bunch of gonks working for the Rippers before they merged with Snake Nation. He's more of a man than you'll ever know." The Nomad growled.

"At any rate, Rogue will dance to any tune I play her. Get us to the Afterlife so we can get to work." Johnny said, unphased… which made sense due to him not having a body.

"Don't forget I still need to chat with my CO." V told him as he got up and left the diner.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Johnny said before disappearing. V got up and decided to leave, and about that same time, Vik suddenly called him.

"Hey V. Just wanted to tell you that your neuro port upgrades are ready. So swing by when you have the chance." Vik told him.

"Will do. Thanks Vik." The man nodded as he hung up.

-V and Jackie's house-

V sat on the couch of the living room with his shark women, their image inducers active. After discussing the meeting with them, they got ready for it to happen. It was now or never.

"Ready girls?" He asked.

"Yes/Ready as I can be/As long as you are, Darling." They nodded.

"Alright, let's begin." V nodded as he called his CO on a secure military channel, making sure to link the TV to it.

"Ishmael here, who's calling this chann—Oh, Petty Officer Verne. I… Wasn't expecting you to call." The captain said in surprise from his office in the Port Iris Naval base near the Gulf of Mexico.

"The reason I'm calling is because of two things. The first one concerns that broadcast from last night, the one from a man named Trip Westhaven." V explained.

"I'm aware. I heard it from my house, too." Ishmael nodded.

"Good. That should make this easier. Now…" The Nomad trailed off before his face hardened. "Did you know about how that shark was being treated?" He questioned. Ishmael, knowing how his subordinate was about animal abuse, was quick to answer.

"V, I swear, I knew nothing. I am well aware that abuse like that will have the opposite effect of what we want." He replied. "The fact that they're even doing that at all has me greatly concerned." He added.

"And what of Admiral Sparrow? Did he see it, too?" V questioned.

"My guess is he probably doesn't know either. He isn't as deep in Site P's experiments as some of the other admirals. And the NWO doesn't exactly report well to authority figures outside of the inner circle." Ishmael explained before he noticed the three women who were with V. "And who might these young ladies be?" He asked.

"The other reason I called. Remember that question from before? About the Maneater becoming capable of understanding us?" V asked, getting a nod in return.

"My response still stands. Why?" The Captain inquired.

"I'll show you. Girls, inducers off." The Nomad ordered, prompting them to deactivate their inducers and reveal their true selves. Being startled didn't even begin to describe Ishmael's reaction.

"What the-! What in the world?!" He stammered. He then took notice of specific features on each of them. "Petty Officer Verne… are those who I think they are…?" He uttered.

"They are indeed." V nodded as he gestured to his beloved wives. "Captain Ishmael, I'd like you to meet Raiko, Ebony and Ivory Mizukage. Formerly known as the Maneater of Port Clovis, as well as Subjects E and I respectively." He added.

"Before you ask, all three of us got exposed to mutagen from the TCRI complexes that were abandoned a couple months back. That's how we look the way we do now." Raiko spoke up, answering the man's question before he could even ask it.

"Well that explains that." The carrier captain muttered. "But still, I'm not really keen on trusting the NWO with subject K right now. And the only way for us to do anything is for Admiral Sparrow to give the green light." He said.

"If I give you a copy of the broadcast, could you relay it to him?" V inquired.

"I'll try my level best." The man nodded before turning serious. "But you do realize that this doesn't look good for you? Harboring all three of these women who were assets of interest not long ago." He continued.

"Oh, I'm well aware of that. And if people wanna take them from me…" He trailed off before two mantis blades came out of his arms. "They'll have to deal with me." He finished.

As he retracted the blades, all three of the sisters hugged him and started nuzzling him and showing just how close they were to him.

"I sense that these three are the girlfriends you mentioned." Ishmael noted.

"And you'd be right." The Nomad nodded before he sighed and sent the copy of the broadcast to his CO. "Here. Relay it to Admiral Sparrow and get his piece on the situation. I have a plan, and it's direction could go two different ways. I just hope I don't have to do something stupid." He said.

"I hope so as well." The man nodded as well.

(Later)

Later on V was having the time of his life, he was sitting on the couch while Meredith was doing a strip tease in the living room, Raiko was holding his head to her bosom, Ivory was massaging his balls and Ebony was in his lap, giving him an erotic lap dance.

"Ah, this is just what I need after what happened today." The man sighed as Ivory took his balls into her mouth, and Ebony squeezed V's cock into her ass cheeks.

"We say you deserve it after dealing with something so stressful." Ebony purred.

"Mmmm, Hey Meredith, is today one of your safe days?" Raiko asked as V sucked on her breasts. The blonde woman smiled as she discarded her stockings in the sexiest way possible.

"Actually, today isn't one of them." The blonde nodded. She then got on all fours and shook her ass at her owner. "But I want to get on the bandwagon. So come on, master. Ravage your pet." She purred.

The Nomad quickly had Ebony get off of him before he got on the floor and mounted his pet before he rubbed his erect member against the entrance of her drenched flower.

"Such a horny little animal. How badly do you want it?" He growled.

"So badly. So fucking badly!" Meredith panted, anticipation overtaking her. V grinned as he shoved himself balls deep into her pussy.

"You want me to pump you full puppies, don't you?" He purred as he started thrusting his hips deep inside of her over and over again like a lust fueled beast.

"Yes~! Make me a mother!" The blonde exclaimed in pleasure as she bucked her hips back at him.

"How many times do you want me to pump you full of my seed?" He questioned, hoisting her up into the air and slamming her against the window.

"As many times as I can take! I want as much as possible~!" The Militech woman moaned as her breasts smooshed against the glass.

"Then how would you like me to fuck you for all to see?" V questioned as he continued to fuck her in the front window.

"Shut up and just do it already!" Meredith growled as her snatch became even wetter at the notion.

As she kept getting fucked by her master, people kept walking by the window. Some even stopped to watch and even take pictures. More than a few women even wished they were in Meredith's position.

"We have an audience, Meredith." V growled as his pace quickened. "Would you like to give them a show?" He asked her, licking her ear and nibbling the lobe.

"I'd love to give them a show! Let's make it one to remember!" The blonde yelled, losing her mind in a sea of lust.

"Such a tight pussy. You're like a horny beast." He snarled as he set Meredith down and had her ride him like a cowgirl with her legs spread wide open, and her beautiful pussy pouring out juices as he fucked it like an animal possessed.

"But I'm your horny beast!" The blonde yelled in ecstasy and bliss as she was ravaged mercilessly. Meanwhile, the Mizukage girls sat back and watched the show.

"These are some great front row seats." Ebony remarked. Currently she and Raiko were scissoring each other while Ivory… was strapped nipple first to two taser pulse releasers. A ball gag muffled her screams as her hands were also handcuffed behind her back and she had an enormous double headed vibrator in her ass and pussy.

"I second that." Raiko smiled before moaning as the two sisters climaxed together. Ivory… was climaxing non-stop.

(Later)

After a long orgy, and lots of wiping of the dark net of any witnesses, V and the girls were lying in bed, relaxing and resting.

As they did this, V decided to call Dex. "Hey Dex. You and Evelyn end up settling on a deal so we can get our eddies?" He asked.

"Yessir Mr. V, in fact we just finished it a few days ago. You and the rest of the gang should get your cuts come tomorrow morning." The man replied.

"Preem. Hey, speaking of which, have you seen Evelyn anywhere? Word is she disappeared." The Nomad asked.

"I heard about that. I tried to figure out where she went, but got nothing. She just up and vanished like she never existed." The fixer replied with a shake of his head.

"Damn. Well, it was worth a shot. The gang and I will swing by for our cuts first thing in the morning." V sighed.

"See you then, Mr. V." The fixer nodded before hanging up. The Nomad's thoughts then drifted to Kujira.

'Kujira… hang in there. One way or another, I'm coming to get you out of there.' He vowed mentally before sleep claimed him.

(The next day)

The following morning after V impregnated Meredith, the five lovers slept like logs until eleven o'clock when V was suddenly awakened by a call from Judy.

"Hey, Judy. What's up?" He asked groggily after answering the call.

"Uh, did I call at a bad time?" The woman asked awkwardly.

"You literally woke me up." V deadpanned. Judy may be a friend of his, but even he felt a bit moody about being woken up by a call as much as the next guy.

"... Sorry." The editor winced. "Anyway, swing by the bar when you can. I heard about you looking for Evelyn, and I think I can help out." She said.

"Will do. I'll be there in a few." The Nomad nodded as he slowly got up, only to be kept from doing so by his girls hugging him by the waist and other areas.

"No~! Stay in bed~!" Raiko whined.

"Stay with your brides~!" Ebony added sleepily. Ivory just squeezed him tightly and Meredith was still asleep.

"Girls, I need to go. Evelyn's still missing and Judy's getting worried." He told them.

"Do we have to?" Ivory whined.

"Yes, my dears. We do." The man replied. They, with reluctance expected from lovers, released him from their grasp.

"Come on, we need to go to Lizzy's." He told them as they got up and proceeded to get dressed.

(Later)

After getting into the bar, the group made their way down to Judy's den. As they approached, an argument was heard that sounded like it was finishing up. After it did, a woman that looked like another bar worker walked out.

"Who was that?" V asked as they walked in.

"Just my boss." The woman sighed.

"The Mox kinda reminds me of the Nomads a bit. Always thinking about community and who matters more: the family or the outside world…" He noted idly. "But that's besides the point, you have any ideas where Evelyn could have gone? Anything at all?" He asked.

"I've got a faint idea. There's a place called Clouds, a dollhouse. You can have a look there and see what you find. Address is on my cig box." The editor replied.

"Thanks. I'll let you know if we find anything." The Merc nodded as he took the cig case. "Star towers, luxurious." He noted.

"Just be careful, been herin' that some bad dudes been lurking around there." Judy warned.

"Right, thanks Judy." Raiko nodded as V suddenly got his payment from the heist.

"Speak of the Devil." He grinned. "Alright, come on, let's get moving." He told them as they started heading towards Clouds.

(Later)

"A fucking Dollhouse? What? Was this Evelyn chick a regular or something?" Johnny questioned as they reached Star Towers.

"Got me." V shrugged. "You never know with corpos sometimes." He added.

"Ain't that the truth." The engram snorted. "But if there's one thing I know, you got more of a chance of either getting off or getting offed than getting information. Place your bets now."

"Don't jinx us." V warned.

"Hey, I just don't want us to end up going on a wild whore chase. I mean, it's probably no coincidence that the place is crawling with Tyger Claws." Johnny stated.

"What, you think Arasaka and the Tyger Claws are sleeping together?" The Navy soldier asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Every corp plays dirty in their own way, 'cept the street rats are just filth. The corps leave 'em to the gangs. Suit' collars'd get soiled. Is that a surprise?" The rocker said.

"No, but I feel like if Evelyn wanted to disappear from Arasaka, she could've done better." V responded.

"This whole situation is bent over, cheeks spread wide. I'm telling ya, it doesn't look right." The engram states.

"How do you figure?" The soldier questioned.

"A little something called intuition, V, ever hear of it?" Johnny retorted.

"Oh, so what you meant to say is your full of shit. Noted." V shot back easily. The group then walked out of the elevator. When they saw that their destination was closed, they opted to wait.

(Later)

After waiting the four walked into the club and straight up to the front desk. "Welcome to Clouds, where we know what you're looking for." The receptionist said. "Would you care to jack into the terminal?" She requested.

"Actually we're looking for Evelyn Parker. She went missing a few days ago and her friends are getting worried." Ebony explained.

"We came here because this was her last known location before going dark." V added.

"One moment…" The receptionist said as she typed on her terminal for a moment before shaking her head. "My apologies. She isn't here at this time." She told them.

"Do you know who we can talk to as to her potential whereabouts?" Raiko asked. "Because I've heard that if someone isn't found in Night City in four days, they're as good as dead."

"And we're running out of time." Ivory added.

"Hm… Mr. Forest might know something, but he doesn't see customers." The receptionist hummed thoughtfully. Johnny chose this moment to reappear.

"I'm sorry, did she say something useful?" He asked with a yawn. "I say fuck this menu, ditch this waitress and take our special order straight to the chef, point blank." He commented.

"That meaning?" The Nomad asked.

"Enter as a customer, get a feel for the place, ask around, then—if all else fails—just find this Forest guy and shake him up until the tape pops out." The terrorist explained.

"Well, I've heard worse." V shrugged before looking at the receptionist. "You said you would know what we're looking for. How?" He questioned.

"An algorithm chooses the doll that best suits you based on your profile and you'll experience your session in real time. They'll know everything you want and need via behavioral chip, which will wipe after the session is up." She explained. "You're needs will be fulfilled, and maybe much more. We don't use the word 'less' here." She added.

"So there will be no trace of the meeting, based on what you just said?" Raiko questioned.

"I could say yes, but the mystery and suspense would be gone afterwards, wouldn't it? You set the stakes when you're in there." The woman replied.

"I mean if it's the only way we can get anything done…" Ivory shrugged.

"Alright, we'll give it a try." V nodded. He then jacked into the terminal.

"This is going to be a live session, so there could be an unexpected turn of events. Don't quit if you feel uncomfortable—you could miss something truly remarkable." The receptionist explained. She then typed in her keyboard a few times. "If you're unready to handle what comes next, you can interrupt the session immediately." She continued. She typed again. "Now for your safeword." She added.

"Maneater." V said with a shit-eating grin, causing Raiko to suppress a snort.

"Cheeky." Johnny commented with his own grin. Ebony and Ivory just shook their heads in amusement.

"Alright, saved. Choosing compatible dolls in 3… 2… 1…" The woman said as the screen loaded. When the process finished, the outcome was not one that was expected. "... No matches?" The receptionist gasped in surprise. "That's never happened before." She added with wide eyes.

"I'm not really surprised. My matches are right here beside me." V chuckled as his girls hugged him.

"Hmm. I should be able to find a compatible doll still, give me a moment." She said thoughtfully. "Alright, Skye should be waiting for you in booth six." She told them.

"Alright. Thank you." The soldier nodded before they went inside, putting their weapons in a sort of locker.

As they entered their booth, they saw that Skye, a pink haired woman with a fair complexion, was waiting for them on the bed.

"Hey there. You must be Victor." She greeted the man and his girls.

"I prefer to be called V. Only people who really know me can use my real name." V replied.

"Alright then, V." Skye nodded.

"This should be interesting." The soldier mused as he sat on the bed while the Mizukage siblings stood off to the side.

"I know that you have a dilemma. A desire to save someone from a fate they don't deserve." Skye said. "I also know that you walk the edge of danger, one wrong move and you could cause yourself to change completely. Or die." She continued, leaning towards him. "But… you don't fear dying, do you?" She questioned skeptically.

"I'm an open book, apparently." V mused aloud. "No, I'm not afraid of dying. Everyone and everything dies. What I'm afraid of is leaving the people I care about alone in this world." He said, glancing at his girls, who smiled at him. "And I sure as hell refuse to let that someone suffer, not when I can do something about it." He added firmly.

"Then I think you already know how you should move forward from here onwards." The doll said as she placed a hand on his thigh.

"Yeah, think I do. Thanks Skye." He nodded. "You girls wanna do anything else?" He asked.

"Um… is it okay if I talk to her?" Raiko asked.

"Go ahead." V nodded as he swapped places with his cerulean wife. As Skye looked at her, she said one thing.

"You don't have to be afraid of showing your true form." She stated, startling her and the others slightly.

"How…!" Raiko uttered with wide eyes.

"Easy. You're safe here." Skye told her, putting a hand on her thigh to assure her. The shark woman looked at the doll for a moment before sighing and deactivating her image inducer.

"I… I have so many mixed up feelings right now." Raiko began. "So much has changed in the past month, and just a week ago, I learned I'm going to be a mother. But I don't feel the way I think I should… and I don't know why."

"It's because of your past." Skye began getting Raiko's attention. "You've lived a hard life. From birth to present day, you've grown accustomed to fighting for your life. Not only that, but you've been scarred by the man that killed your mother." She continued. "And now that you've exited that chapter of your life, and began a new one, you don't know what to do. What to feel." The doll added further, almost like she was reading Raiko's soul.

"W-What should I do then?" She asked shakily.

"Do the one thing your anger and hatred never let you do in the past: Let go. Let go of all your fears, doubts, worries, anger, hatred, and sadness. Let them flow across your skin like the ocean and let yourself become free." The woman told her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You deserve to be loved and deserve to receive love, so let your loved ones give it to you. Take it. Hold onto it, and you will finally be free." She continued.

"And… What should I do about my feelings about my mother? How can I let go and still honor her? Remember her?" The Maneater asked.

"That's just it. Remember how she fought with everything she had so she could keep you safe. Remember what she did for you." Skye told her. She then rubbed the woman's pregnant belly. "And honor her by giving your child the love that she was never able to give you." She added.

Raiko looked down at the floor. It was all true. Ever since birth, she's fought for her life without her mother to help protect her. She had chased after the man that killed her… Her mother, who fought tooth and tail just to keep her safe. It was time for her to let go, and look to the future. Her future. As a mother. And she would be damned if her child never got the love she herself didn't.

"... Thank you, Skye." The Shark woman said as she hugged the doll before turning her image inducer back on and looking at V, who gave her a reassuring nod. "Maneater." She said, ending the session.

As they walked out, they decided to have a look around. It was then that the girls picked up Evelyn's scent inside one of the booths. So they went to investigate it. As they got it open, they started looking around it for clues.

"There's a little bit of blood." Raiko noted.

"An incident maybe?" Ebony wondered.

"Possibly. Someone got wounded, and the blood looks fresh." Ivory commented.

"Let's see what this projection has to say." V mused as he activated it… and everyone was greeted by a projection of Evelyn and someone messing with her right foot. "Uh… okay?" The soldier uttered in confusion.

A few seconds later the woman started spasming for several minutes before the man bolted, indicating that the blood was his.

"It wasn't the client that went off the rails." Johnny notes. "Something bit her in the ass." He added.

"It looks like she's experiencing Cyber Psychosis." Ebony said in concern.

"Maybe… Or maybe she was remotely hacked. Netrunner maybe?" V suggested.

"Weird." Johnny nodded. Filing this information away, the group proceeded to the VIP area, where Skye told them they could find Tom. He'd probably know where to find Mr. Forest.

As they did, they found the man in his booth. "Hey, sorry, but I wasn't expecting any clients. I don't really have any of your details so I don't know what I'm supposed to do here." He said.

"Relax, there's nothing you need to know. We're not customers." V told him.

"We're here to talk, to you specifically." Ebony added.

"We're looking for Evelyn Parker. She's been missing the past few days and we're trying to find her. Judy's really starting to get worried." Raiko continued.

"You seen her?" Ivory asked.

"No. I tried calling her a bunch of times. No luck." Tom sighed.

"So she's not here?" V asked, figuring that was the answer.

"She had an accident and had to go to a special clinic in Oslo, I think." He explained. "It should be at the border of Jig Jig Street and Little Japan." He added.

"I see." The man nodded. "Hey, know where we can find a Mr. Forest around here?" He asked.

"His office is around back." The doll replied.

"Thanks." Ebony nodded as they left.

"Finally. Is it Woodman who will finally shed some light on this shit show? Man can only dream." Johnny sighed. "What they should really be replacing is the skull sponges on these dolls. Urg." He groaned as they made their way around back. As they did, they were greeted by a locked door.

"Ivory, would you mind?" V asked as the Bone Bull Shark woman cracked her webbed knuckles, showing her newly installed Legendary tier Gorilla Arm upgrades… before she pried the door open with minimal effort.

"Ah, that was nice." The muscular woman sighed to herself. The group then proceeded through the door (with V knocking a guy manning the cameras out so he wouldn't spot them).

After a bit more walking they finally reached Woodman's office, and V was quick to notice that the guy was going to be a nightmare to deal with. He was eating something when they came in, not the least bit surprised.

"Hey, no clients are allowed here." He told them, his voice having a cockney accent. "So be good people and close the door on your way out, would ya? As you can see, I'm very busy." He added as he was about to take another bite of his food… only for Ebony to snatch it away from him. "Hey!" He protested.

"Oh yeah you're very busy, you disgusting pig." Raiko spat.

"What did you just say to me, you two-bit whore?!" The man snapped as he stood up, only to be forced down when Ivory squeezed the pressure point in between his neck and shoulder with a spider pinch.

"Sit down." She ordered, forcing him to sit.

"Listen, pal. I'm looking for Evelyn Parker." V said.

"Ngh… Got nobody with that name working here." Woodman grunted in reply.

"But you used to, didn't you?" Ebony questioned.

"Look, She's been missing for several days and her friends are getting really worried." Raiko continued. "So it would be really helpful if you could stop being such an uncooperative asshole and help us." She added.

"Alright, I'll talk." The fat man sighed. "Look, she had an incident that made her take off for a clinic on the border of Little Japan. When the doc contacted me, he told me she was on her last legs before the call ended. No idea what happened from that point on." He explained.

"This Ripperdoc, what's his name?" The soldier questioned.

"A guy named Fingers. An associate of Wokoko Okada. He's got a clinic on Jig Jig street." Woodman stated.

"Alright. Now we know where to look next." V said before letting out a sigh, and then turned to Woodman. "Which means you've served your purpose." He added as his arms started changing and revealed his mantis blades, before he decapitated Woodman in an instant.

"We should go. It probably won't be long before someone else comes here." Ivory stated. The group did so and left the club with the Tyger Claws and the dolls none the wiser of what just occurred.

Next stop: Jig Jig Street.

-Heywood, Night City-

"So you're sure that it's already been bought up?" Misty asked as she stood in front of Jackie's garage.

"Aye, lo sciento, sorry Misty. Guess we'll have to find somewhere else…" Jackie sighed, tapping his foot. "Say! You know, I just remembered. V and I know a really good architect. Why not just have a house built instead of buying one." He suggested.

"Won't that cost a lot?" Misty said.

"Yeah, but my pay for the heist came through, so I can afford it." The man nodded. "Just need a plot of land for it, first." He added.

"Oh! I actually know a place." His girlfriend told him.

"Well then, chica, lead the way." The man prompted.

-Jig Jig Street-

When the gang reached Jig Jig Street, V got a call from Takemura. He was quick to pick up.

"V, can you talk? This is important." He said.

"What is it?" The soldier responded.

"I have made contact with a friend who could prove useful to our mission." The man said. "And I've managed to convince him to meet with us." He added.

"How does this help us, exactly?" V questioned.

"There will be a meeting between you, me and this friend of mine. You will tell him what you told me." Takemura explained.

"Okay, when and where?" He asked.

"Japantown at sundown." The man replied before they hung up. The Nomad then made his way to where Finger's clinic was, and when he got there, he found Judy there.

"Judy? What're you doing here?" Raiko asked.

"Same reason as you four: looking for Evelyn." She replied before banging on the door.

"Helloooooo? There's a line!" Someone told her before they backed off after receiving a glare from Ivory.

"Shut up!" She barked.

"Urg, this guy is harder to get to then some of the best docs in town!" The editor groaned. "This is going to take forever!" She added.

"Maybe we can get some of the patients to let us cut?" Raiko suggested.

"Or…" Ebony said, holding up a personal chip with 900 eddies. "We can give them cash to go to Vik's instead." She suggested.

"That could work." The soldier nodded as he walked over and sat next to the girls on the couch in the corner. "Here, why don't you girls go to a better Ripperdoc? This should be enough to get you work at Vik's clinic in Watson." He told them.

"Whoa, seriously? Thanks." One of them said as they accepted the eddies and left. With that out of the way, the patient Fingers was working on walked out allowing them in, and right away V could tell that he did not like how he looked. The guy was very ugly.

"What can I do for you?" The Ripperdoc asked as he washed his hands.

"We're looking for Evelyn Parker. We know she was in your… Clinic." Raiko said, unsure if this room could qualify as a clinic.

"Hm, so that's what this is about." Fingers mused as he turned to them. "Come into my office." He told them as he led them into a sort of parlor.

"So Evelyn, apparently she short circuited because of some Netrunner's self-made malware. You got any idea what happened to her after she was brought here to get fixed?" V asked.

"Called my fixer so she could find someone to help her. Then two guys picked her up, big fellows. One had a beard, said something about a moth of all things." The man explained.

"So you pawned her off like she was some inanimate mannequin." Judy growled.

"Because that's exactly what she was." Fingers retorted, earning himself a slap to the face.

"Need air. I'll be outside." The editor breathed as she left.

"Wait up, Jud. We'll join ya." Ivory said as V got up and the four followed her out.

"What are we gonna do now?" Judy sighed as she leaned on a rail.

"We know she was taken by the Death's Head. That narrows down our search, so now we need to find where they could have a possible studio…" V hummed.

"Yeah, but an XBD's always on the move. It makes them harder to nab or sting." The multi hair colored woman said.

"Don't tell me you want to give up now." The man said.

"No, I just… I don't know." The woman sighed.

"I'm gonna take a look around Jig Jig Street and get something done at my Ripperdoc. I'll call you back when I find something." He told her.

"I'll be in the van." She nodded.

"Right, come on girls." The man said as they left.

(Later)

Later on after finding a BD of interest, V went to Vik's to get his Neuro Port upgraded. As he came to, V slowly sat up.

"Easy V, take a minute." Vik told him.

"How'd it go?" The Nomad asked.

"Pretty good. You should be able to handle that biochip much better now." The man replied.

"Thanks Vik. This should help with work so I don't have to worry about it so much." The Nomad sighed in relief as he got up and handed the man a shard. "Here. It's the Eddies I owe ya." He told him.

"Consider your debt paid." Vik nodded as he took it.

(Later)

V and Judy now sat in the woman's van outside of Vick's clinic. The girls had decided to go back home because spending the entire day searching for Evelyn had left them pretty tired, and this was made even faster since they were pregnant. So they went back home to take a nap.

"I'll get everything prepared for this. Make sure your wreath's snug on you." The woman told him.

"Gotcha." V nodded as he put the headset on.

"Alright, let's see what we got." Judy said as the brain dance started.

-XBD-

As the program started, V quickly switched over to the visual layer and started looking around, finding several boxes, background noise, day old cold coffee, and a Netrunner getting his brain fried.

"Poor fucker…" The man sighed as he kept looking around. "I'm seeing several Buck-A-Slice boxes. Jellybean, anchovy and jalapeño pizza to be exact… Why do I get the feeling that Mikey would like these guys? That's his favorite pizza." He noted idly.

"See anything else?" Judy asked.

"Not really. But judging by the room's layout, we're looking for a warehouse next to a Buck-A-Slice. Best I can figure out here." He replied. As he was about to get out of the BD, he spotted something else. Scanning it, he saw that it was an Electric Corporation lab suit. "Wait, just found something. There's a coverall with an Electric Corp patch on it." He amended.

"So an Electric Corp warehouse next to a Buck-A-Slice. Got it." Judy nodded as he exited the BD. "EC used to have complexes in Charter Hill, Buck-A-Slice checks out too. Worth a shot." She shrugged.

"Alright. Let's check it out." The soldier said as he exited the BD and took the wreath off.

"On our way." Judy nodded as they drove off.

"Still can't shake it, these guys are working for the Death's Head. So if all the scroll is snuff then… I don't even wanna think about what they might do to Ev." V shuddered.

"You and I both, V." The woman nodded in agreement with her own shudder. "But they'd be utter gonks to waste her like that. Seriously. She's a girl who's not only a natural at what she does and has a doll's implant. Not to mention, Yorinobu Arasaka and Karai still have a soft spot for her, so if she's wasted? They're fucked." She added.

"Then we have a shot at getting her back." The Nomad nodded.

"Yeah." The editor nodded.

(Later)

After arriving at the warehouse, V was quick to make the smart move and call for backup. And right as he was about to enter the building, Jackie arrived.

"Glad you could make it, Jackie." He smiled. "And sorry to hear about not getting the house."

"Eh asi asi, the place was in Vista Del Ray so it wasn't in the best of shape anyway. Probably dodged a bullet, honestly." The man chuckled as they crouched behind some crates. "So what's the plan, mano?" He asked.

"We'll start off sneaky. We kill the guards outside and make our way in… and go guns blazing from there." V replied.

"Silent but deadly mixed with a little bit o' clean house. Bueno. I can do that." The bruiser nodded as V got to work by first shutting off the cameras, then when the goons were arguing, he made their optics reboot as they snuck around them… then they drew their blades. "Jack the Ripper's come to town." Jackie grinned as he decapitated six people in one go and V stabbed the rest in the back of the neck.

"And that's how you do that." He grinned as they snuck into the building. When they reached a room full of grunts, V banged on the wall, getting their attention.

"Hey guys, how's your health plan?" He asked casually before taking cover from some gunfire. "APPARENTLY IT'S GREAT!" He shouted with a laugh as he put some bullets into their skulls.

"COME GET SOME, CARONES!" Jackie yelled as he started shooting before a grenade was thrown at him. "V! Catch!" He yelled as he tossed his friend the live grenade and watched him pass it to a Scav.

"Here, hold this." V said before jumping out of the way right as the grenade blew up.

"That looks like the last of them. Let's keep moving." Jackie said. The two of them found some stairs and proceeded to head underground.

"Judy, we're in. Can you see our position?" V asked over the comms.

"Yeah. We need to head to level minus 2, so wait for me." The woman nodded.

"So what happened to that Parker chick anyway?" Jackie asked.

"From what we gathered so far, she got remotely hacked by some homemade malware and had to get a new faceplate. Then she got abducted because some assholes decided she was an inanimate object." V grunted in reply.

"Fuck…" The bruiser cursed before he blinked. "Wait, did you say homemade malware?" He asked as Judy arrived.

"Uh, yeah? Why?" The Nomad asked, wondering what Jackie was thinking.

"T-Bug mentioned having to work a case on a murder that happened the same way. Said the trace of the malware led to Pacifica, and the Valentinos used to talk a lot about having their implants being hacked by the same stuff." He explained. "And that it belonged to the Voodoo boys." He added.

"You think they hacked Evelyn?" Judy asked.

"Could be." The former Valentino shrugged as they continued down. However this time, V decided to take out the Scavs on this level by using his movement enhancements and mantis blades, hacking and slashing through them in seconds before they reached a place full of them.

"Light 'em up." He said to Jackie as the man pulled out two incendiary grenades.

"En el nombre del padre, el hijo y el espíritu santo, amén." The man prayed before he chucked the grenades in a T pose and the resulting explosion caused the people inside the blast radius to be turned to ash.

"Not gonna lie, that was kickass." Judy admitted with a grin.

"Joder si, señorita!" Jackie laughed as they moved forward, and V found a M-179E Achilles Tech Precision Rifle.

"Whoa, a Widow Maker. Nice, and it has neurotoxin rounds too." The Nomad said as he slung it on his back. "Definitely keeping this." He nodded as they continued on.

They reached a room filled with thugs, to which V responded with the forced detonation of a barrel, leaving them dazed and vulnerable for Jackie to pick off. Though as they came across a control panel linked to the security cameras, the Pretty Officer decided to skim through them and see if he could find Evelyn.

"Okay, think I found her." He told his two companions as he shut off the cameras. "Let's move!" He called as they started moving again undetected until they reached some sort of studio.

"That's Evelyn. Don't touch her! If she's recording, you'll scramble her brain." Judy said as she raced to a terminal. "We need to cut the link." She added.

"Alright. Jackie, you keep an eye on any Scavs and call Trauma. Judy, when you're ready, cut that link!" The nomad told the two as he grabbed Evelyn's chord. "Alright, on three. 1… 2… 3!" He said as he yanked the chord and Judy cut the link.

Jackie meanwhile was busy on the phone with Trauma. "Hola, hey! Listen up. This is Chief Petty Officer Jackson Romano Welles of the USS Theodore Roosevelt, requesting immediate Trauma evac! Code Delta Alpha Beta Charlie Echo-2 Omega-3. Patient is one Evelyn Parker, current state is comatose. Damage is currently unknown." He told them. "I don't care what protocol is! Get your asses down here before I make you come down here!" He snapped before he hung up.

"Is Trauma on their way?" V asked.

"They fuckin' better be, or I'm gonna be pissed tonight." Jackie grunted as he picked up Evelyn. "Come on, let's delta. Vamanos!" He told the two as they walked out of the building.

(Later)

-Judy's apartment-

V sighed as he stood in front of an apartment door as it rained. The apartment door he was in front of was actually Judy's, since he wanted to check up on her. "Come on, just light one up already." Johnny said, almost whining.

"No, Johnny." V replied flatly.

"Come on, V. For me?" He asked.

"My dad always told me that smoking cigarettes was for posers. Real men smoke cigars, and even then, they do it sparingly." The Nomad retorted, as he pulled a leather cigar holder with a silver Navy Insignia on it before he pulled out a cutter, a match, and what looked like to be a New World brand Niquor Aquan cigar. "But then again, only the individual can decide what makes them a real man." He mused.

He then lit the cigar and took a slow drag before he let out a deep sigh as smoke came out of his mouth. "Sure hope Evelyn comes out alright. If not for our sakes, then Judy's at the very least." He sighed.

"You'll never check up on her if you just stand around out here." Johnny told him. "But while we're on the subject, I think there might be another way we can handle our chip problem. If all our Plan As and Bs go to shit."

"What's that?" The Nomad asked, taking another puff of his cigar.

"Seven letters, starts with an M, ends in an I." He responded.

"You mean Mikoshi? That place where Soulkiller stores all those souls?" V asked.

"That's the one." The rocker nodded.

"So what's the plan? You got another bomb stowed away somewhere?" The man asked.

"Actually I do. Beyond the Black Wall, I have a 'Bomb' by the name of Alt Cunningham." Johnny nodded. "Or at least what's left of her." He amended.

"The digital boogie woman. Okay. How would we get her into Mikoshi?" V asked.

"That I'm going to leave to you. Something tells me that if I planned it, we'd just end up dead." Johnny replied.

"Fair enough." V shrugged before crushing his cigar and going into Judy's apartment. When he did, he found her watching over Evelyn as she slept on a guest bed, having been released from Trauma already. "Hey, how's she feeling?" He asked.

"Thanks to Jackie, we ended up getting her to Trauma just in time. They said she's still very mentally scarred so she won't be in a talking mood anytime soon, and her body is really weak so she needs rest. So the next few days are going to be crucial." Judy explained.

"Is she doing about as well as one would expect?" V asked.

"Basically, yeah." The editor woman nodded. "That damn place sucked every drop of humanity from her. She gave up everything, but they wanted more, and more." She continued. "She's in a trance right now, but she's got a chance to bounce back from it." She added further before sighing. "I really didn't want to poke around in her head." She shivered.

"Well if we're going to get to the bottom of this, we don't really have much of a choice." The merc told her, though it was clear that he too didn't like causing an already broken woman more unnecessary pain. "What I don't get is why you're mad at her." He added.

"Well, after I pulled the virtues from her head… let's just say that Jackie wasn't too far off on his hunch." The woman sighed. "Come on, I'll show you." She told him, gesturing for him to follow. "Have a seat." She said as they entered her office.

"Let's go." He said as they entered the BD.

(Later)

After editing the BD for a bit, they were able to conclude that it was the Voodoo Boys who hired Evelyn, and that they were based in the middle of Pacifica. Right now, though, they were working on a second completely separate virtu.

In this one, Evelyn was eavesdropping on a phone call done by the same woman, who was talking in a language that V recognized as Haitian Creole due to one of his and Jackie's shipmates being from the same area.

"Judy, do you have a translation package for Haitian Creole?" The man asked.

"Sure. Uploading the package now." She nodded.

"Besides, she's our best way to Yorinobu. We need to get that biochip." The woman said to a man on the other end.

"I wish I shared your confidence that Silverhand will be able to get in contact with Alt." The man sighed.

"We're good, Judy." V said.

"Disconnecting." The woman said as the BD ended. As V took his headset off, Judy spoke up. "I'm confused. What's this got to do with Johnny Silverhand? He died ages ago." She wondered.

"His engram is on the biochip." V said, pointing to his neuro port. "Been talking to him for a while now. And our guess is, these guys need him to get in touch with the fragment of his dead girlfriend Atlanta Cunningham that's evolved into a full blown—all powerful—-AI that lives beyond the Black Wall." He added.

"W-what?" Judy got out in shock.

"Crazy, I know, but it's the truth." He sighed. "The real question is, why do they need to talk to Alt in the first place?" He wondered. "Can you give me a minute? I need to go over some things with Johnny." He told her.

"Uh… Yeah. Sure." Judy nodded dumbly as she walked out of the office to process what she just learned.

"Got any idea what these guys want from Alt?" V asked his partner.

"Fuck V, I've been dead the past half a century. You can't just expect me to be able to hand you all the answers on a fucking chrome covered platter every time you snap your fingers." The construct stated.

"Got no idea whatsoever?" The man questioned.

"I dunno, control of port Iris maybe? Who the fuck knows." Johnny sighed. "The way I see it, all roads lead back to that Voodoo Boy Netrunner. If she knows as much as I think she knows about the chip, she can help us out before things have a chance to screw us over." He added. "Knock on wood." He finished, tapping the wood desk next to him. V then walked out to talk to Judy.

"So, do you have any idea how to get in touch with the Voodoo Boys?" She asked.

"Why? Think I'd rat Evelyn out?" The man asked, causing Judy to shake her head.

"If I thought that I wouldn't have asked you for help in the first place. I know you're okay, V, I just… Don't want anything bad to happen to you is all." She replied.

"Well, I'm gonna ask around and make a few calls." The soldier shrugged.

"Well, good luck. Here's hoping you don't need it." Judy told him.

"Thanks, Judy." V smiled.

"No, V. Thank you. You're a good person. Your girls hit the jackpot with you." She replied. The Nomad gave her a kiss on her forehead, causing her to blush slightly as a small smile graced her face.

"See you later. If anything changes with Evelyn, call me." He told her.

"Will do." She nodded.

(Later)

As V drove home, he quickly dialed two of his contacts. His Pacifica fixer Mr. Hands, and his Navy buddy Esmerelda Berthelette, a woman of very deep Haitian Creole descent. Her roots were actually in Pacifica.

"Yo V! What's up?" Mr. Hands questioned.

"I was hoping you could get me a meeting with the Voodoo Boys. I have something they've been looking for." The merc told his fixer.

"Oh, sure. Not a problem." The fixer nodded, knowing it wasn't his place to pry. "Let me put a feeler out and I'll get back to ya."

"Thanks." V nodded before he called the next person on his list.

"Hello, V. Something you need?" Esmerelda asked as she responded to her subordinate's call, being Senior Chief Petty Officer.

"Hey Es, listen, don't suppose you know who I need to get in contact with in the Voodoo Boys for business? I have a Biochip they've been looking for and I want to give it to them before it has a chance to get damaged." The nomad explained.

"I do have a few people inside that gang. I'll dial them up and inform them. I'll get back to you once I'm done." The woman replied.

"Thanks Es." V said as he hung up and got in his car before driving home. And once he got there, he was greeted by the girls taking care of the house. Raiko was dressed in a sexy maid outfit that showed her bare ass and full cleavage, making it clear that she was completely commando. Ebony and Ivory were both only dressed in aprons, which gave their man a clear view of her back ways and complete access as well as access to their tails. Finally, Meredith was… completely naked. In fact her only accessory was a spiked pink pit bull collar with a name tag on it.

"Hello, master." Raiko greeted with a bow, giving V a clear view of her cleavage while more of her ass was exposed. "Would you like one of us to act as your cum receptacle to help you relax?" She asked.

"Not at the moment. I'm feeling rather drained from today's events." V replied with a sigh as he sat on the couch, which allowed Meredith to place her head on his lap with a pleased smile on her face. "Good girl." He sighed as he turned on the TV and saw that there was a Jaws marathon on. "Heh! Lucky day, I guess." He smiled as he watched the movie as it came on, all four of his girls changing into their night clothes so they could join him with snacks, and then they all relaxed together.

Meanwhile in the underground recesses of Japantown, the Shredder, Oroku Saki, looked at his new, current base of operations as the Maelstrom and Tyger Claws he had under his thumb continued working.

"Your new armor is ready, Master." Hun said as two guys rolled out a suit of armor. "I give you your new Apex Shredder Armor. It is the perfect fusion of traditional weaponry and modern cyberpunk warfare." He added.

Saki grinned as he looked at the suit. "This will do, Hun. Good work." He said before he continued overseeing the construction of his new empire.

-Clover Island Complex, Site P, Port Clovis-

On an ominous looking island Military base, run by the Naval Wildlife Organization, a man in what looked to be a strangely appropriate seaweed ghillie suit stalked the area and attempted to take pictures of the complex while simultaneously doing a broadcast. Thunder, lightning and rain flashed, roared and poured over him as the waves knocked against the rocky shores of the island like the man's own shaking knees.

"The world needs to know what's happening here…" He muttered to himself. "They need to know the truth." He continued quietly as he had his radio drone fly next to him. "Folks, Trip Westhaven here. And I have news. This is it, everyone, I've finally made it to Site P and I'm about to enter it. Once I have enough proof, I will expose the deviants within for what they really are."

He then quickly ducked down to avoid being seen by a spotlight wielding sniper. "And if I don't return, I implore you all, please continue my mission. For the good of all humanity, before it's too—-." He said before a light suddenly flashed onto him from above, revealing that it was a helicopter, and seconds later, he was surrounded.

Time for the truth to be revealed.

Dragon Emperor0: Oh no, this isn't good… unless the alien angle is completely fake and these guys are just arresting him for trespassing on military property.

ThermalsniperN7: Whether it is or not, something is gonna happen in this place. And it's gonna be chaos.

Dragon Emperor0: And I've seen enough movies to know that the conspiracy theorist is usually proven right. Looking at you, Monsterverse characters. I personally can't wait to play the actual DLC, myself.

ThermalsniperN7: I just hope it's at a reasonable price. It'll get pretty irritating if not. Anyway, see you guys in the Truth Quest arc!
