A/N: HI READER

It's time for another Saber chapter, and this time we're getting an introduction to the land swordsman Buster, as well as the appearance of quite possibly my favourite character from the series, but you're just gonna have to wait to see who I mean.

Anyway with nothing more let's go!

Third Page: Of Fierce Earth and The Beast Queens Part 1

Why hello there, it's time for us to visit our band of knights once again. But instead of a warm sunny day we start in a mist masked dusk.

Last time! Two of our valiant knights fought a horde of vicious Megid, but in the end the Swordsman of Flames got his hands on a new book, and the two saved the day! All that's left is for Mr Oliver to truly admit his feelings!

Brooke, you're overstepping again. What did we say about jumping to conclusions?

Oh but dad just look at the last time! It is so PAINFULLY there!

Brooke…

Right, I know I know. Anyway, we start this tale in the night time forest….

"Cerise are you sure you heard something? We really shouldn't be out in the Enchanted Forest at this time." Said a girl wearing a yellow flower printed dress with a fake fur collar and boots with a pair of black glasses on her face. She had long brown hair adorned with a few red streaks with a yellow hair band and earrings.

"I'm telling you Rosabella, I saw a weird shape and there was a scary noise, and Carmine got really freaked out which made me really freaked out and I just really don't wanna be out here alone but I also really wanna know what that actually was." The named Cerise said. She wore a red checker blouse with black sleeves and an added skirt, she also had brown hair but had a white streak on her left fringe, finally she had a red hood and cloak. "You still got the scent boy?" The two were following a small young dire wolf, who was sniffing the ground as they walked. They continued to walk for a few more seconds before Carmine yipped and was about to jump through the brushes before Cerise grabbed him. "Calm down boy, calm down it's ok." She shushed. When the dire wolf quieted down, the two heard the sounds of conflict as if a battle were in the mitts.

Rosabella put a finger to her lips as the two crouched down and crawled towards the edge of the brush, call it an odd kind of curiosity, but the forest was important to them both, so they wanted to know what was going on.

Just as they were about to part the bushes, a loud groan was heard as something crashed onto the plantation in front of them, causing the two to cover each other's mouths to stop them from screaming, the creature groaned again before disappearing into energy book pages. Cerise and Rosabella looked up from their shock to see more of those strange creatures fighting against a warrior in a black body suit with multiple patches of dark grey armour that resembled tortoise shells. His helmet was also grey with two bronze visors with a small sword splitting them. He also had brown gloves and in his hands was a large grey and orange sword with a small book in it that seemed to easily cut down the opposing force.

"Come on you freaks, I can take you on all day!" The figure said and continued to cut down the creatures, the monsters tried to retaliate with their own weapons although it seemed to have little affect as the knives just bounced off. The warrior pushed all the monsters away and rested the large sword on his shoulder, pressing the open page on the book.

GENBU SHINWA!

The warrior hitched his sword on his back and raised his fist, it started to glow a dark orange and vibrate slightly. "Genbu….Wonder!" He roared out and threw his fist down, while at the same time a beast's roar was hears as the spectral image of a tortoise's leg stomped on the ground as well, causing a large shockwave that erased the creatures. "Yeah heh! That's what I'm talking about!"

'He's…..destroying them….and enjoying it?' Rosabella thought to herself.

"Alright Buckaroo, get out here and show ya self!" The warrior said and took the sword off his back.

"Grr fine! I'll destroy you for interfering in my master's plan!" A voice roared as a monster broke through the tree line, at closer inspection the two girls could see that it shared similarities to the strange monsters that were appearing in Book End lately. This one however had brown armour on its top half with antlers sticking out of its head and shoulders, it over all resembled a deer. The Deer Megid took out his own sword as the two began to duel.

"If these two keep fighting…..they could cause serious damage to the forest…." Cerise whispered, voicing her concern.

"I know….but if we step in we could get hurt. That one with the large sword, he could be one of the knights we've heard of, I hope at least." Rosabella said, not taking her eyes off the battle.

The warrior swung his large sword with ease, dealing devastating blows onto the Megid's body. The Deer Megid managed to catch the large sword on his own and as the two were locked, the warrior reared back his head and slammed it onto the Megid's before sending another kick to his chest.

"You'll have to try harder than that Megid, your lil sword ain't got nothin' on Gekido!" The warrior boasted and held his blade forth.

"Stupid Swordsman…." The Megid growled as energy started to channel into his antlers. The energy directed towards his sword as he roared and fired an electric attack at the warrior.

The warrior gasped before taking a quick look behind him as if to check something. "Crud…." He muttered before positioning his sword horizontally and tanking the attack, the energy impacted against his sword, some of it even going past Gekido and hitting his body. After the attack ended, steam hissed off his armour as he panted lightly. 'I hope it's alright…'

"Idiot! Now you're open!" The Deer Megid yelled and ran towards the warrior.

The warrior huffed and closed the book in his sword, releasing it from the handle and scanning it in a compartment atop the handle.

GENDBU SHINWA! DOGON!

The warrior let out a low hum and slowly moved the sword in a downwards curve, random stones and rock began to collect themselves onto the sword, enlarging it.

"Grand Judgment Cut!"

GEKIDO! RANDOKUGEKI! DOGON!

As soon as the Deer Megid got close enough, the warrior reacted and dealt a final slash across the Megid's chest, causing a small shockwave to emit from the impact. The Megid stumbled forward from the attack and groaned before falling down and exploding.

"Done and dusted." The warrior said and rested his blade. The snap of a twig caught his attention as he spun around and readied his weapon again. "Who's there? Come out!" His gaze wandered around the surrounding area before letting out a sigh and resting his sword on his back. "Must've been hearing things."

Meanwhile with the two girls, after Cerise snapped the twig they were now hidden behind a large tree, the hooded girl keeping both her hands over her mouth again to hide the small whimpers.

"We need to go, now." Rosabella whispered as the two snuck off.

Back with the warrior, he moved over to a small bush and gently lifted up the branches to show a small baby deer, it was liking its back leg which had a large bruise on it.

"Aw, poor lil thing, those mean monsters really did a number on you huh?" He asked gently running his hand along the fawn's neck and back. "Well don't you worry, ole Buster here's gonna make sure you're alright." He said soothingly and walked over to another bush, rummaging through and pulling out a fairly large bag and setting it down. After going through it, he pulled out a roll of bandages and started to wrap them about the fawn's back leg. "Hmm, let's see…." He looked around and grabbed a random stick off the ground. "This'll do." Buster used the stick and bandages to make a makeshift splint, helping the fawn stand.

"There we go." He chuckled and petted the baby gently on the head. A groan was heard by the two, and Buster could see through the trees a mother deer looking at the two. "That your mum?" He asked with the fawn making cute happy sounds. "I'll take that as a yes." Buster gave the fawn a little nudge as it limped over towards its mother, the two leaving the knight to himself who sighed happily and dusted his hands.

"Whelp, now that that's all taken care of, I should head home." He yawned and started to walk back towards the town. Although as he did, the warrior did not notice someone watching him from a distance.

The next morning at the Logos Library, the six knights were sat at the breakfast table, each of them enjoying their meals while they sat comfortably in their pyjamas.

"So, y'all know what this important thing Leona wants to tell us is?" Ethan asked, shoving some more pancake into his mouth.

"Probably something about that school Oliver's new girlfriend was talking about." Jess snorted to which the blonde rolled his eyes and groaned.

"Jessica I don't know how many times I have to say it, she is NOT my girlfriend."

"I dunno….you seem to text her every single hour…." Riley muttered.

"Uh huh, sure, she totally isn't, just like how Riley over here TOTALLY doesn't have a crush on the goth chick." She said, jabbing her thumb at the Swordsman of Flames.

"Alright you know what Guinn," Riley said and put down his piece of toast. "You're just jealous cause I got a fairy tale crush before you." He joked causing her to throw a crumbled up piece of kitchen paper at him. "Agh!"

"Do we really have to go to school? I mean….technically in our world it is the summer." Skylar spoke up, still with their face mask and glasses on, drinking cereal through a straw under the mask.

"It wouldn't hurt to try it out Sky, besides it'll help us get accustomed to this place." Ivan added.

"I guess…." The quiet kid replied.

"Good morning everyone." Leona smiled as she walked in with a cup of coffee. "I hope you all slept well. I have good news, starting tomorrow you will be going to Ever After High."

"You actually got us enrolled?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, I managed to convey to him that you are the descendants of the last Swords of Logos that were here, your similarities and the fact you able to draw the Seiken were enough to convince him." She said.

"You know…..she does make a good point." Riley shrugged.

"So before you start, I wanted to tell you all about the previous knights before you." She sat down at the table and placed down the smaller photo of the portrait. "These here are the six knights before you, Sir Rafael, Sir Oswald, Lady Janice, Sir Everette, Sir Idris, and Sir Venour, six of the mightiest warriors I ever knew. We were incredibly close, Sir Oswald was the wisest man there was, always thinking of battle tactics, always thinking first. Lady Janice was a wild free soul, she cared not for what others thought and regularly was quite rebellious. Sir Everette was a playful trickster, cracking jokes and being the centre of attention, the eyes always had to be on him. Sir Idris was a kind hearted man, he cared for the little people and hated those who saw themselves as 'higher ups' so to speak. Sir Venour was an absolute animal, a real people's person that loved to be loud and proud, if there was something worth enjoying he'd enjoy it to the fullest."

"Greeeeaaaaat, the opposite of me." Skylar huffed and drank more of their cereal.

"And then there was Sir Rafael, the previous Saber and leader of the Knights. He was brave, honourable, and truly worthy of his title." Leona said with a nostalgic smile on her lips. "Anyway, it's time for you all to get cleaned up and dressed, while you may start tomorrow Principle Grimm has asked you all to come in for a tour of the school. He expects you all in by 10:30."

"Wait, 10:30…..that's just an hour away!" Oliver gasped looking at the clock on the wall.

Skylar spat out milk through their mask and sprang up from the table. "I'M GOING IN THE SHOWER FIRST!"

"OUTTA THE WAY, LADIES FIRST!" Jess shrieked and barrelled towards the stairs.

"YOU DON'T GET TO USE THAT EXCUSE, YOU ARE THE FURTHEST THING FROM A LADY!" Ethan snapped, going into a sprint.

Leona giggled to herself as she watched the five scramble to get ready before noticing Riley was still sat at the table looking at the photo. "Sir Riley, is everything alright?"

"All that stuff you said about the past guy, great leader, super brave, that's kinda a lot of expectations to live up to."

"Sir Riley, Rafael was a great man yes, but you can become an even greater one, not by becoming the next him, but by being the best Saber you can be." She gave him a pat on the head.

"Thanks Leona, guess I should go line up for the shower." He smiled and left.

"RAGH!" Zooous roared and flipped a table. "You're telling me that it didn't even get a chance to open the gate into Wonder World before being destroyed?!"

"Unfortunately yes Master Zooous, the Swordsman of Land just so happened to be in the forest at the same time of the Deer Megid's summoning." Calibur informed him.

"Tough luck Zooous." Storious hummed from his seat as he closed a book. "Animal Megid, so disappointing."

"Shut your mouth Storious!" He snarled and smacked the book out of his hand. "I want another go, my Megid didn't even get to start the plan before those stupid Swordsmen intervened!"

"I don't really mind, do you Legeiel?" Storious smirked at the other.

"Couldn't care less." Legeiel yawned.

Zooous growled and yanked another book from the shelf of Alter Books. As Calibur went to take it from him the Majin grabbed his wrist. "If this one fails, you'll receive the punishment, understood?"

"Y-y-yes Master Zooous, I understand…." Calibur stuttered as the man released his wrist and walked away. As the teen rubbed with wrist with a hiss, his eyes peered over to another Alter Book within a glass case. "Master Storious, if I may ask, why is it we never use his Book anymore?"

"The experiment? You know as well as we do that he's rebellious and unorthodox, he's a danger to our mission."

"But Master, he's a strong warrior, from what you've told me even the past Swordsmen had troubles fighting against him. I just thought-!"

"Are you challenging my words Calibur?" Storious interrupted him.

"Of course not Master, I was just-!"

"If you think he'll be useful, then try it, but you know the consequences for failure Calibur." Storious gently held his chin, making him gulp.

"I understand Master….." He hung his head down and left with the Book Zooous gave him.

"Whoa…" The group collectively gasped as their eyes gazed onto the sight that was Ever After High. It was a collection of rather large buildings built around an enormous tree, the whole thing could be described as charming with its own sense of stable insanity.

"That is a sight to behold." Riley said to which the others agreed.

"Right!" Oliver clapped his hands to get all their attention. "The headmaster is expecting us any minute now, so let's no disappoint. Has everyone hidden their swords?"

"Yup." Riley patted his messenger bag.

"Done." Jess motioned to the bag hanging over her shoulder.

"Nice and secure." Ivan hefted up his huge rucksack.

"Right here." Skyler tapped their backpack.

Ethan only whistled innocently.

"Ethan, why is your sword out?" Oliver asked sternly.

"Huh, oh, this lil thing?" He spun around to show off Hayate resting in a sheath attached to his lower back. "Leona gave it to me, I think it looks good."

"We're supposed to be protecting these things you idiot, not flaunting them off." Jess frowned at him. "Do you not know what a secret is?"

"What does it matter? Tweedle Fire and Tweedle Water over here already showed off their secret identities, some of their fan girls are probably already watching them as we speak." Ethan huffed and rested his hands behind his head. "Besides, it's my sword, and I want show off that I'm a super cool knight, is that so bad?"

"Look we can deal with Ethan's ego later, let's just head inside." Riley said, the others agreeing as the sixth walked towards the front entrance.

Apple White was stood outside the Headmaster's office, she had been called to there earlier by Milton requested to give a group of new students a tour around the academy. She already got a message from Oliver telling her about his sudden visit, something she was ecstatic to hear, as well as the fact he was coming with his friends. So there she was, patiently waiting with her hands behind her back.

Since it had been a few days from the Megid attack, the princess had recovered from the horrific event and along with Raven, the two somewhat feeling more connected after the experience, like a friendlier kind of frenemies.

As she was thinking to herself, the door to the office opened. "I hope you all enjoy you time at Ever After High!" The voice of Milton Grimm said as the team of six stepped.

"Thank you Headmaster, it was really nice meeting you." Riley said with a put on smile before shutting the door, the group of teams collectively groaning. "Oh my god that guy does nothing but drone on and on….Huh? Oh hey Apple." He said with surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"Hello, I'm gonna be your tour guide for today." She smiled and looked over the group in front of her. "Hello again Oliver." She gave the boy a wave.

"Hello again Apple, it's nice to see you again." The Water Swordsman smiled at her.

"It's nice to see you as well." She smiled cheerfully before addressing the rest of the group. "Now let's not waste any time, Ever After High is a big place and there's a lot to see so let's get this tour underway." Apple started to lead the group.

"Damn she cute, think Ollie will let me take her off his hands?" Ethan whispered with a grin, only to get pulled on the ear by Jess. "Ow, ow, ow, ow!"

"Take a hint air head, the two clearly like each other." She said sternly and let go, leaving the teen to rub his ear.

"Come on everyone don't fall behind, we don't want anyone getting lost on their first day." She chimed as they started to walk.

"Wait, people get lost here? Like….how often?" Skylar asked, but got no answer. "A-a-a-are we really just ignore the fact she said people get lost in this place?!"

On the outskirts of the school, Calibur hid himself behind out in the enchanted forest with a hum as he surveyed the area around him. "This is the perfect hunting ground, time to begin." He said and opened the Alter Book.

HANZAKI SANSHOUOU!

A swarm of books ejected from the book and formed into a Megid with light purple armour that represented a salamander. The Megid snarled and turned to Calibur, who took out a blank book and handed it to him.

"I take it that I don't need to explain?"

"Of course you don't Sir." The Salamander Megid took the book and opened it before throwing it into the air, multiplying into hundreds of other blank book that scattered. "Excellent….come to me my prey."

All around Book End and the campus of Ever After, Blank Alter Books would suddenly appear, those who were curious to open said books would never believe what happened next.

"And here we have the school stables." For the next stop in the tour Apple lead the group outside of the school where a there were stable houses with a vast array of horses inside each. "This is where the Magical Beast Training and Care lessons take place, here we make sure all our animals are well taken care of so they're happy and healthy."

"Those are some very lovely horses you got there." Ivan complimented as he looked over each of the steeds. "They get enough exercise?"

"Next the stables is a large luxurious field where they run free, we treat our animals with the best respect." Apple assured him.

A cry of fear, both human and horse, was heard by the group. One of the horses was rearing on its back legs and shaking its head with a student fallen down in front of it.

Ivan immediately set down his bag and moved slowly towards the horse, shushing and speaking in a gentle tone. "There, there girl….it'll be all okay ya hear? Easy pal."

The horse neighed more and kicked up dust as Ivan got closer and gently held the reigns.

"Sh, sh, sh, it's ok, no need to panic girl." The horse bucked a little more before calming down, still snorting and shaking its head. "There we go, that wasn't so bad was it?" He started to pet and stroke the horse, as he brushed over her main he saw the cause of the outrage. "There's the problem, this bracelet here got trapped in the poor girl's mane." He carefully removed the bracelet from the mane and chucked it towards the bashful student who chuckled sheepishly. He stroked the horse some more and looked back to the group. "Hey, you guys can go ahead without me, I kinda wanna stay here a little longer."

"You sure big guy? There's still some places to see here." Riley asked to make sure.

"It's ok, I can catch up later." He assured.

"If that is Ivan's choice, then I'm sure it won't hurt, let's continue everyone." Apple said and started to lead the group back inside. Ivan smiled as he watched them leave and petted the horse some more.

"You handled that really well." Someone said as they walked up to him, revealing to be Rosabella who started to brush the horse. "You're experienced?"

"Been around horses most of my life, grew up on a farm in the country side. I know my fair share about animals." He smiled and offered his hand. "I'm Ivan, Ivan Garwen, I'm new around here."

"Rosabella Beauty, the next well Beauty for the Beast." She shook his hand.

"Well it's nice to meet you Ms Beauty, so you're a horse lover too?"

"Pretty much a lover of all animals, I like to look out for all the defenceless little creatures out there." She said.

"Well that's real nice of you, always need more nature lovers out there." He smiled.

"ROSABELLA!" A voice yelled out as Cerise darted towards the princess, nearly tripping as she came to a halt. "Rosabella I….who's this?" She stopped whatever she was saying when she saw Ivan.

"This is Ivan, he's a new student. Ivan this is Cerise, a friend of mine." Rosabella introduced.

"Oh, hi nice to meet you." She quickly said before turning back to Rosabella. "Hey, come over here I wanna show you something." Cerise grabbed her wrist and pulled her away a little.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" The Princess asked as the hooded girl fished around in her pockets.

"Look what I found." Cerise whispered and pulled out a blank book. "Doesn't this look like what that grey guy had the other night? It might be the same even."

"Cerise, this isn't something we should be messing with, what if it's dangerous?" Rosabella said worryingly.

"It looks normal enough, should be fine." Cerise said as Rosabella took the book from her. "It's weird, I just found it lying on a bench."

As Ivan was still stroking the horse, the bracelet with tortoise shells on his wrist started to glow a dark grey. "A Megid? Here, where?" He started to look around for any indication until he turned around and saw the Blank Alter Book in Rosabella's hands. "Oh no, Rosabella don't touch that!"

Yet it was too late, for when Rosabella opened the cover page of the Book, a smaller projection of the book that engulphed Book End and the Dormitories opened above her and swallowed her whole, leaving a block of light that made Cerise fall back in shock.

"W-w-w-what happened? Where did Rosabella go?!" She cried out as she stood.

"Dammit." Ivan groaned as he felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. "Hello? Oliver we have a problem."

"Very much an understatement Ivan." Oliver spoke with a grunt from his side of the line. "People are disappearing with Wonder World Gates opening in their place, estimated twenty people have gone missing already."

"What do we do?"

"Riley and I have already moved into the Gates and now looking for the one behind this. Join us when you can." The Swordsman of Water said before hanging up.

"Crud…." Ivan huffed. Putting his phone away he put a hand on Cerise's shoulder to get her attention. "Cerise, listen to me, Rosabella's gonna be ok you hear? I promise she'll make it out."

"W-where did she go? What happened?" She hooded girl was still in complete shock.

"She got teleported when she opened that book, but don't you worry I'll make sure she's ok." He assured her and quickly moved towards his bag.

"How?" She asked. "What are you gonna do?" Ivan searched around in his bag before pulling out the very same large sword she saw being wielded in the forest. "Wait a minute, that's….."

"Just stay here, we'll get her back soon enough." Ivan leaned Gekido over his shoulder and walked towards the gate, a book shaped portal opened and he ran through it.

[Meanwhile at the same time]

"And that concludes our tour for today." Apple said as she brought the group back to the school's main grounds. "I hope you all enjoyed your time here today."

"This school is amazing." Riley smiled. "Thanks for this Apple."

"It's not a problem Riley, I'm just happy to be introduced to rest of Oliver's lovely friends." She beamed with a smile back.

"Hey if you don't want her as your girlfriend I'll gladly take her off your hands." Ethan whispered to Oliver, only to get his foot stomped on making the Wind Swordsman hold in a scream. "Dooley noted…."

"Now, is there anything else you'd like to see or know while we're here?"

"I still wanna know how people could possibly get lost in a school like this." Skylar muttered but fell upon ignored ears.

"Could we go back to the cafeteria maybe? I'm kinda hungry." Jess said.

"Does that sound good with everyone else?" Apple asked with the group collectively agreeing. "Then right this way."

The group was then interrupted by a sudden scream. A random student fell down as she backed away from a bench as it was engulphed in a square of light.

"Oh come on!" Riley groaned as his and the other's bracelets started to glow. "A Megid attack now of all times?"

"But there's no Megid, there's just that small gate!" Ethan pointed out.

"Gates that are opening everywhere, look." Apple showed them her Mirror Phone with multiple videos of people finding the Blank Books and disappearing in flashes of light.

"It those Blank Books, it's like they're capturing people when they open it." Skylar mentioned. "What do we do Riley?"

"Oh um….um….I…I guess we….split up? Go into different gates and….uh….search for the people? Oliver you come with me, the rest of you guys head into town and go through different gates and try find the Megid." Riley said. "Make sure to keep in contact, call if you find anything."

"Right." The other three swordsmen said as they left towards Book End.

"Apple, I'm going to have to ask that you go somewhere safe, this may get dangerous." Oliver said and held her shoulders. "I'll message you later, you know how dangerous these things can be."

"It's ok Sir Oliver, I know the troubles these monsters cause." She assured him and leant up to kiss him on the cheek. "Take care my Knight." She smiled and left towards the dorms, leaving Oliver with a small smile and holding his cheek.

"Dude~~~" Riley smirked. "You li~~~~~ke her~~~."

"Say anything and I drown you in a bubble." Oliver said sternly and narrowed his eyes towards Riley.

"Alright, alright chill out, might as well call you the Swordsman of Ice since you're so cold." Riley muttered as the two placed their Drivers on their waist and entered through the gate. When the two emerged, they found themselves somewhere in the Enchanted Forest, more specifically a small river stream with a stony terrain. "Are we in the Enchanted Forest? This place must be where the Megid is."

Agreed, I'm going to contact Ivan, tell him to meet us in here." Oliver said and pulled out his Mirror Phone.

As Oliver was calling his fellow Swordsman, Riley started to look around the area they arrived in, noticing the same bench that was on the campus.

"So it's not only the people that's getting sent here, but a small section around them as well, interesting." He hummed.

"Ivan's on his way." Oliver said putting his phone in his pocket. "Now we start looking for the culprit."

"He's right here!" A voice chuckled as the Salamander Megid jumped out from the trees and stabbed at the Riders, the two jumping back as the monster's blade lodged into some rocks. "Agh, really?!" He yelled and tried pulling it out.

"That was easy to find." Riley said and dusted his clothes. "Huh? Is it meant to be some kind of lizard or something?"

"HOW DARE YOU, I AM NOT A LIZARD, I'M A SALAMANDER!" He yelled angrily and ripped his sword out. "You two have stupidly wandered into my territory, here you'll fall!"

"Let's handle this quickly, and get all those people back!" Riley said as he and Oliver took out their Books.

BRAVE DRAGON!

LION SENKI!

The two slotted their books into their sections in the Driver and drew their swords.

REKKA BATTOU!

NAGARE BATTOU!

Riley made the X shaped slash of fire while Oliver performed the horizontal water slash.

BRAVE DRAGO~~~N!

LION SENKI~~~!

The Salamander ducked out of the way of the slashes as they flew back to the riders, their armours forming.

"Let's get him!" Saber called out as the Riders charged at the Megid. Saber got there first and clashed swords against the Megid's, he threw their swords apart and went to strike, only for Rekka to slide across his skin like a wet surface. "Eh?!"

"I've got you!" Blades said and ran from behind, going for a slash on the back before Nagare also slid across his skin, causing Blades to trip on a rock and fall into Saber, the two tumbling over. "Why is he so slippery?"

"Salamander's seep mucus from their pores, our swords are basically gonna slip against the guy like it's nothing." Saber said and pushed Blades off him, sitting up. The blue Rider gave him a confused look. "What? I learnt it from biology class." The Salamander Megid ran towards the two and slashed down with his sword, making them role away and kick up dust.

"Whatever, so how do we fight something that slimy?" Blades asked, Saber humming in thought before gasping with an idea. "For some reason I don't like that, what are you thinking?"

"I'm gonna use this!" He held up the Peter Fantasista Book. "I have no clue what it does but might as well try." Saber stood up and sheathed his sword, closing the Brave Dragon book he opened the front page of the other.

PETER FANTASISTA!

Toaru otona ni naranai shonen ga kurihirogeru yume to kibou no story...

He shut the book and placed it in the far right slot on the Driver, gripping Rekka and drawing it from the Driver. "Wonder Read!

REKKA BATTOU!

NISATSU NO HON O KASANESHI TOKI SEINARU TSUGURI NI CHIKARA GA YADORU! WONDER~~~~ RIDER~~~~!

A small fairy flew around Saber's left arm and shined brightly as his left side was now blue with a fairy wing on the shoulder and a hook attached to his wrist as well as some blue on his helmet.

DRAGON! PETET FAN!

FUTATSU NO ZOKUSEI O SONAESHI YAIBA GA TOGISUMASARERU!

Saber threw his arm forward, launching the hook on a chain as he stuck itself into the Megid's shoulder.

"Gotcha!" Saber cheered. Just then the same fairy came out from behind Saber's shoulder and flew towards the chain and grabbed, pulling it into the air as well Saber and the Megid. The two dangled there before coming closer and slamming into each other like repeatedly like a pair of clackers.

"What are you doing, you're scaring the fairy!" Blades called out to the hanging Rider.

"I'M SCARING HER?! SHE'S HANGING ME!" Saber yelled again before coming close and kicking the Megid away, unhinging the hook and falling into the stream. "Well now I'm wet, stupid fairy…."

"Give me that." Blades walked over and took the Book from his Driver. "Clearly this book is for me."

"Oh yeah, what gave you that idea smart guy?" Saber huffed and stood up, poking his chest.

"Riley, the book is blue, Lion Senki is blue, I AM BLUE." He emphasised. "It just makes sense." With that he turned around and opened the book again.

PETER FANTASISTA!

He sheathed Nagare and slotted the book in, drawing it instantly. "Wonder Read!"

NAGARE BATTOU!

KAGAYUKA LION FANTASISTA~~~~!

The fairy arrived once again and flew around Blades, seeming a little more happier as the armour formed on his left arm.

NAGARE NISATSU! GAO! KIRAKIRA! GENSOU NO TSUME GA IMA SOKI KENSHIN NO SONOMI NI YADORU!

"I feel it, as if they're aligned perfectly, joint together as one. This is what it's like to use corresponding books." Blades hummed before charging towards the Megid as it stood up. When he got close, the Megid slashed at him prompting Blades to parry with his sword and catch the chain onto the edge of the Megid's weapon. "I've got you now!" He kicked the Salamander's leg and used a great amount of strength to the throw the Megid over him, the chain extending and launching him into the air. Blades pulled the chain, bringing the Megid down and crashing hard against the ground.

"Wow….that's amazing." Saber said in awe before sulking slightly. "Man, I wish I had some other red books…..I bet I could do some cool stuff if I had some. Anyway, at least I got this one."

JACKUN-TO-DOMAMENOKI!

He sheathed Rekka and slammed in the other book. "Alright, second time's the charms, Wonder Read!"

REKKA BATTOU!

WONDER~~~~ RIDER~~~~!

With the power up from the JTD Book, Saber ran towards the battle firing a salvo of green energy at the Megid. Some of the salvos fell into the ground and made a small beanstalk that uppercut the Megid away.

"Riley, we'll have to coordinate our attacks, he won't be able to handle both of us."

"Sounds good! Let's end this!"

[Meanwhile]

Ivan trekked through the Forest, Gekido over his shoulder and eyes sweeping the area. "They really captured a large area of the forest, this could take a while." He hummed, eye narrowing in thought.

*SNAP*

He spun around and held Gekido tightly, looking for the source of the sound. His gaze continued to wander around before it fell onto a small rabbit on top of a stick, it looked at him for a second before bouncing away.

"Oh, it was just that cute little bunny." He sighed and rested Gekido. "Guess I'm a little jumpy."

Suddenly, something tight gripped itself around Ivan's neck and squeezed. Ivan lost the grip of his sword and tried to pull away at the arm wrapped around his neck. His vision clouding as he slowly slipped into unconsciousness, but not before hearing one last thing.

"Finally, I have you, my sword."

BRAVE DRAGON!

LION SENKI!

"Dragon Wonder!"

"Lion Wonder!"

Saber through forth a flame blast from his arm as Blades backflipped and sent a water slash.

Salamander side stepped from the fire but got hit with Blades' attack on his back, making him fall down and roll across the ground.

"This is it Oliver, one last attack from the both of us and he's done for!" Saber chuckled as he and Blades were about to sheath their swords into the Drivers.

*RUMBLE*

Suddenly a large shockwave erupted through them, throwing the two riders off their balance and leaving them confused.

"W-w-w-what happened?" Blades stuttered, shook from the small quake.

"That….that felt familiar…." Saber panted before noticing someone come from the trees. "Look, it's Ivan!" Buster waltzed into the battle field, sword over his shoulder as he came closer to the two Riders and Megid. "Great to see ya buddy, you're just in time!"

Buster said nothing and just closed the Book in his sword, detaching it and scanning it above the hilt.

GENBU SHINWA! DOGON!

Buster lifted Gekido up high, rocks, stones and pebbles of all sizes floated around and collected onto the large blade.

"O-oh boy….that's a lot….that is getting very big…" Saber gulped at the sheer size Gekido was coming to.

"W-we better get out of the way!" Blades shouted and started to push Saber as Buster hefted his sword even more.

GEKIDO! RANDOKUGEKI! DOGON!

Buster swung the sword down, the massive blade coming down and destroying the Salamander Megid, causing a huge explosion that knocked Saber and Blades off their feet and made a huge ditch.

"Oi, Ivan, what the hell man?!" Saber asked angrily and pushed the grey Rider's shoulder. "You coulda almost hit us for crying out loud!"

"I must agree with him, your actions were completely reckless. Did you even care if your attack struck us or not?" Blades added.

Buster just turned his head to them, before suddenly swinging Gekido at the two, causing them to jump back.

"What are you doing, we're on the same side!" Saber shouted.

"Hey!" Ivan's voice suddenly called out. The three turned and saw the boy coming from the same direction as the fake Buster came, panting heavily as he glared at the Rider. "Gimme…..gimme back my sword! Give me back Gekido!"

"Wait, if that's Ivan….then the duck are you?" Saber questioned as the fake Buster lodged his sword into the ground, the transformation fading and revealing the user was clad in knight like leather clothing and padding, gauntlets, boots, and shoulder armour, as well as a knight helmet on his head. He unclipped the helmet and took it off, revealing an older man with grey hair and hard orange eyes. "Whoa, talk about medieval."

"My name is Alexie, and I am the true heir of Dogouken Gekido." Alexie said and effortlessly pulled the sword out, resting it on his shoulder. "And you, you children, clearly are not worthy to wield these sacred swords."

"And just who the hell are you to judge us?!" Ivan growled and marched over to him.

"I am the brother of the past Swordsman of Land, Idris. So in turn, I am Gekido's true user." He said, surprising the trio. "What was Leona ever thinking, putting the swords in the hands of such children, who are clearly inept of using such weapons! Couldn't even handle a single Megid when there were two of you, pathetic." He huffed and started to walk away.

"Ivan, you alright buddy?" Saber put a hand on Ivan's shoulder as his transformation cancelled.

"Yeah, this guy snuck up on me and choked me out, left me in the middle of the forest." He groaned and rubbed his throat.

"Is it possible that this man is really related to the past Swordsmen." Blades said as his transformation cancelled. "He is able to use Gekido, lifting it effortlessly."

"Hmm, something is wrong." Alexie spoke up. "The Megid was defeated, why hasn't this area retuned to the real world?"

"Huh, wait he's right." Ivan said. "That bench, I'm guessing it came from Ever After, if the Megid's gone shouldn't it go back?"

Riley looked around, rubbing his chin in thought. "That must mean, the Megid isn't defeated yet…." He gasped before running over to the ditch Alexie made, briefly seeing something wiggle it's way out and heading deeper into the forest. "Dammit, there was a something small, it just left. There's no way we're gonna catch it now."

"No….Rosabella's still lost." Ivan muttered and gripped his fist. He glanced over to Alexie who gave one last look to the teen before heading through a Gate.

"Hey," Oliver put a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure whatever is happening, Leona will help us, and we will save those who were captured."

"I hope so." He sighed as the three followed through the portal.

Calibur walked into the shadows of a dark alley way, clutched in his hands was another Alter Ride Book, his face troubled as a bead of sweat fell down.

"I cannot fail, not this time. I must succeed for my Masters." He looked at the book in hand and gulped before opening the front page open. "Megid that was once sealed, I free you from your chains." He flicked the chained page over as a burst of books flew out and collected into a shape behind him.

DESAST!

The newly summoned Megid snarled as he stood up, taking a deep breath. His entire body was black with some spots of purple, his skin hard and almost metallic with spikes sprouting from his calves and hands, and on his shoulders were a pair of horned wolf heads. His face was dark red with white eyes and a pair of beetle like fangs, hanging from his right shoulder was a red scarf.

"Hmm…..strange…..some strange scents have found their way to me…." He hummed. "The smell of this new world, it's both the greatest and most terrible scent."

"The world has changed Desast, it has changed very much." Calibur said and pocketed the book.

"Oh? Well if it isn't the scared little boy, time must have passed, look how big you are now." Desast chuckled darkly. "Look at you, reduced to the Majin's little servant."

"That's enough from you!" Calibur snapped and pushed him away. "I didn't summon you for you wit, I summon you for your skills. There's a new band of Swordsmen, and they've already proven troublesome."

"Heh, new Knights aye? Whatever, I'll go play with them."

"Just don't go acting rebellious, we don't need any more interference, especially yours."

"You don't boss me around." Desast huffed and started to leave. "Hmm, how I've missed these scents."

Wait…..that can't be how I ends! They failed?

We don't know yet for sure Brooke, these Knights just might succeed.

That man though, Alexie, he does raise some questions.

Agreed. Although they will have to be answered next time.

OH THAT IS NOT FAIR!

A/N: And there we are, the first part of the Buster introduction, and the arrival of Desast, the best Megid in my opinion, damn am I sad about the recent episode….

Anyway some of you are probably wondering why I've split it into two chapters? Well considering the debut of Buster in the show spanned two episodes as did the Megid I thought I'd go similarly, this in turn would compact the chapters and not rush anything. So don't fret, we'll see Ivan's transformation next chapter, as well as something special.

But now, reviews.

Dr. KRC PHD: Yeah I'm trying to give at least all the main Books' familiars a name, just to show that the Riders have a bound with them and they aren't just tools for them, and luckily Ivan brought a big enough bag.

RisingPluto66 BKA: No Calibur's a guy.

Kamen Rider W: Yeah Jess is gonna have a pairing.

ABattyResonator: Oh trust me, Slash with Rock Band is one of the things I am super excited to write when I get to Skylar's chapter.

TheOkWriter: I'm not gonna kill any of the riders, considering they're still teens, the most that'll happen is very serious injuries or life threatening stuff that are a real pain in the ass to fix.

HyperUnity: Yeah, I try to put a little bit of myself into all my OCs, so Riley is my awkwardness.

James Reed: Falchion will appear but not in a movie. Saikou, Sabella, Durendal, and Solomon will appear later on. I'm not having Ethan leave the group and join up with Desast, it'll be something similar though.

With that done, see y'all next time.

BYE, BYE.
