Remember, this story is rated M for a reason. If you aren't 18+, don't read. This story is also largely in AU, aside from where the story started on the cliff in La Push, this is my world, not the one you see in the movies/books.

A/N: Thank you for reading, your reviews and your input! I truly appreciate each and every one! I apologize for the delay! As noted in the story description, I decided to rename this one and keep Sugar Lips as a Bella/Peter pairing. I posted the first 5 chapters of Sugar Lips and the plot will change starting in ch. 6. So if you are looking for solely Bella/Peter, check out that story. As for this one: Remember, Peter marked Jasper and Bella marked Peter but Jasper has not officially marked anyone yet ;) This one will go on as a full poly PB&J

BPOV

We ended up in a dark alley in Missoula, MT in no time at all. Pete explained on the way about how he only feeds from scum to avoid drawing suspicion. Pete was now standing behind me, his front to my back, hands at my hips and his lips next to my ear.

"Close your eyes and feel—what are your senses telling you?" He prompted and I felt my eyes fall shut. I heard a thready heartbeat forward about 50 feet on the right.

"Go." He prompted and I made my way to the spot. I wasted no time draining my victim. His blood was decadent as it went down my throat. I knew at that moment there would be no going back to hunting animals. I remembered from watching Peter to snap his neck which was like snapping a twig between my fingers. I let the body fall to the ground and turned to find Peter stalking towards me. I soon found myself pressed against the brick of the building behind me, Peter's lips slamming down on mine. His tongue entered my mouth and I met him stroke for stroke. His hand pawed my right thigh and hiked it to his hip as he ground his pelvis into mine. We must have been heavily projecting our lust because we pulled apart at the sound of Jasper's moan. Peter placed his forehead to mine with his eyes closed for a moment. He kissed my lips one more time before placing my leg back down.

Peter bent down, picked my spent dinner up and tossed him in a dumpster. Even though I am stronger than him at the moment, I am in awe of how strong we truly are.

We were both distracted by Jasper abruptly turning towards a man coming up the alley way towards us. A large part of me was worried about this. Jasper spoke about how killing humans weighed heavily on him and I don't want that for him. I wanted to shield him from that.

I watched as Jasper lured the man in, making small talk for a moment before he briefly closed his eyes then snapped his neck. He quickly drained him and let him fall to the ground and looked back at Peter and me. His eyes first went to Peter's then intensely locked on mine as he walked towards us.

"How did you do that?"

I looked at him, confused. "Do what?"

"I couldn't feel his emotions."

"I—don't—know?" I stuttered. I've been awake in this new world less than 24 hours, I have no idea which side is up or down. "I remember being worried about you as you hunted and wanting to shield you from the burden."

"And she did that burst thingy earlier." Peter piped in.

"Bella, I think you're a shield."

"Not like any shield we've ever seen, no Jasper?" Peter asked, picking up Jasper's dinner and putting it the same place as mine. How cute that he picks up after us.

"Indeed not." Jasper agreed, still looking at me with his intense butterscotch now red tinted eyes. What I wouldn't give to have a glimpse inside his head at this moment.

"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked and went to bring my hand up to check. Jasper caught my hand midway up and gave it a squeeze.

"Thank you." I felt a strong wave of gratitude hit me.

I slightly tugged on his arm, pulling him to me. Apparently I am a messy eater that was also now a hugger. What else changed during my transformation?

I buried my face in the crook of his neck. He smelled so good. Different from Peter—more earthy, like cedar with a hint of spice—Peter smelled mostly spicy like cinnamon. I felt him pull me even closer as he took a whiff of me as well.

"Why do I feel like this, Jasper?" I whispered as I nuzzled my nose against the skin of his neck.

"Mmm, not sure, Darlin', but can't say I'm opposed."

"Mmm, me too." I mumbled and continued my movements.

"Me three!" Peter chimed in as he tossed his dinner with ours. Jasper and I jumped apart.

"Oh, don't stop on my account." Peter said with a smile.

Peter was looking at Jasper and I was looking at Peter. Jasper was splitting his time between looking at the both of us.

"Ok, clearly something big is going on here but I don't think this is the place to discuss it." I offered.

Peter's eyes glanced to me. "You're right, Suga'. You two go on ahead and I'll finish here."

I came to stand in front of him, my hands reached for his torso. "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely." He said and gave me a brief kiss. "Now go on get!" He playfully added while turning me towards Jasper with a smack on my ass.

We zoomed out of town but slowed to human walking pace when we were within the forest. We walked in silence for several moments before I broke the quiet.

"I thought vampires only had one mate."

Jasper looked at me out of the side of his eye before focusing back ahead. "Triads of vampire mates are rare, I will give you that. I've only heard of maybe three or four instances in all my time being a vampire. Though I'm not exactly sure that's what we are yet."

"Well the idea doesn't seem to faze Peter. Why do you think that is?" I inquired and looked at Jasper, it was faint but he looked bothered—no, uncomfortable—with my question. "And how did he mark you? I thought—well I thought that we were meant to be mates, Peter and me." I paused then quickly added, "But I'm not upset with this turn of events, truly I'm not!"

Jasper reached his hand down to mine and brought us to a stop. "Listen, Bella, I—there's—there's a lot you don't know about me and my past."

I quirked a brow at him in question but he didn't continue. Instead we were interrupted by Peter who had now caught up to us.

"I didn't realize that's what I did at first." He said, answering my first question before he jumped from a tree, landing with ease at our sides.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well I was distracted with you, Suga' and confused that I'd done somethin' wrong with your change—with you bein' so quiet and all and when Jasper showed up, I was in defense mode. I didn't even look before I attacked but then I caught his scent and everything in me screamed "Bite him!" so that's what I did." He finished and he and Jasper were looking at each other.

"But you've seen each other before, been around each other a lot in the past—so why now? Pete, you told me that once a vampire meets his mate, the pull and need to mark is overwhelming."

"Bella, you have to understand, when I created Peter—I was a very different man. Cold. Calculating. Very much the military man my maker intended me to be. And I didn't know what love was."

"Took me many a year to break into his shell—and even then, he was more stoic. I tried to loosen him up. Befriend him."

"I knew there was something different about him the night we met." Jasper revealed. "It was late, and human Pete was just comin' out of the general store, his bag of purchases in hand, my other men had gone ahead scroungin' up food for the newborns when I came 'cross 'im." Jasper paused seemingly lost in his memories. "Now, I don't remember much of those days but I ain't never forgot how fantastic Pete smelled. We weren't specifically lookin' to make any more newborns at that time but suddenly I found myself with Pete in my arms on the side of the general store, my teeth had already penetrated his neck." Jasper stopped to look at the maker mark on the side of Pete's neck, opposite of my mate mark.

"I didn't know my ass from my elbow when I woke up three days later." Pete chimed in.

"You were one son-of-a-bitch newborn, too." Jasper drawled with a fond smile. Then the smile dropped. "You never left my side until the day you left with Char."

The name Char peaked my interested. That was the woman Pete was talking on the phone with. I turned to Pete, "were you and Char-?" I left the question unspoken but he knew what I was asking.

"Me and Char?! God no!" He said with a laugh. "Char's like a sister to me—a pain in the ass sister." He let out a huff of air. "But the day she showed up on the cull list, I knew I couldn't let that happen. But the line up started before I could try talkin' to Jasper. So with one last look at him, I grabbed Char's hand, and ran. Felt like something was rippin' my cold, dead heart out the further we went."

A question was still nagging me and I couldn't help but ask, "So you and Jasper never—" I trailed off again. The men looked at each other for several moments before Jasper spoke.

"Darlin'—" he began, "It took several attempts for Pete and Char to break me free from Maria's hold." Pete's hand trailed onto his shoulder, coming to cup the side of his neck. "And back in those days, things were much different. A man couldn't just lay with another man…" He trailed off again, his eyes focused on mine, trying to convey something.

"So you guys never…" I asked and Jasper's eyes jumped to Pete's.

"We—ah—we tried." Peter admitted. "Once."

"What happened?" Obviously it wasn't a happy ending since this is the most time they've spent together in decades.

"We didn't get very far." Pete revealed and brought his hands to his lap, looking down at them. "He'd finally worked up the courage to go for a kiss." He paused again. "I thought we were alone."

Flashback…

PPOV

We'd known each other for many years and I'd stayed by his side through thick and thin. I couldn't imagine my life without Jasper in it. I was so ecstatic and relieved when I was finally able to break Jasper out from Maria. It had been a few years since that day and we had been traveling together—the three of them—mostly being nomads around the country. Staying in a motel every so often.

I'd always thought Jasper a handsome man since the day I woke up from the change. He was a hard, harsh man at times but I loved him. At first I was furious with the man that brought me into this world but as my newborn-ness wore off, I began to see Jasper in a new light. We were out of camp on a scouting mission when I'd got that tingling telling me somethin' important. So I stuck close to Jasper. We happened upon a group of rogue vamps—about 12 of them—it was a close fight and Jasper almost lost an arm but we won. I remember thinking how strong Jasper was as I used my venom to help reattach the arm. That was the day that Jasper had hugged me.

There had only been a handful more of physical contact moments between the two of us while we were in camp. A hand-hold here, a brief embrace there, but were always hidden under the context of something else.

But after we were all free, I found it harder and harder to stay away from him. I would find excuses to touch him in some way but Jasper rarely allowed it to happen.

We were in a quaint town in Tennessee and Char had gone out for the evening to gather some supplies and to feed. I had just come out of the bathroom, having used the facilities to clean up. Jasper was standing at the window, the faint moonlight filtered through the gap in the curtains.

'He's so beautiful,' I thought. I must have projected too much because Jasper turned from the window, his eyes pierced mine.

Fuck. I was usually better at hiding my feelings.

But then he was in front of me, his hands trailing my arms towards my head. If I had a heart, it'd be beating out of my chest. His rough hands cupped my cheeks and then his lips pressed against mine.

After a moment of shock, I returned his affections and my arms wrapped around him, pulling him closer. Our kisses became harder, more sure, as we found ourselves on the bed. I couldn't ignore the shaking of Jasper's hands as he lifted my shirt over my head, tossing it aside. His hands explored the newly revealed skin. It was nice to not have to worry about my scars for he had them too. I didn't give them a second thought as I brought my hands under his shirt, removing it much the same way he did mine.

"You're so beautiful." He murmured between kisses and touches. I pulled back and gave him an eyebrow and a small playful smirk.

He rolled his eyes with a smile. "You know what I mean."

I really didn't but instead of giving the smart ass remark on the tip of my tongue, I kissed him. I'd waited for this moment for decades and I didn't want to give him too much time to get caught up in his head. Our bodies were rubbing on each other. I brought my hand to cup his hard length in his trousers, palming it as we went. We were both so caught up in the other that we didn't hear the door open.

"Good Golly Miss Molly!" Char shrieked from the opening, dropping the supplies she was holding.

End flashback…

"What happened next?" I asked, curling further into Pete's lap. We'd stopped to sit at the beginning of Peter's recount of the encounter. Jasper was sitting next to Pete, in my line of sight.

"Jasper dashed away from me in less than a blink of an eye. My head barely hit the pillow before he was out the door." Peter whispered as he looked down.

"What did Char say?"

"Oh after her little entrance? Not a whole lot. She wasn't really surprised. She said, and I quote, "about damn time, is his cock as big as I'd guessed?""

Jasper's head snapped up at that. "That's it?"

"Yea, ya'd known that if ya'd stuck around." Pete quipped.

Jasper brought his hand to Pete's face, his strange red orange eyes bore into Peter's. "You have to understand. It was nothing you did. It was me." He paused. "My issues is what had me runnin' from you. You didn't do anything wrong."

"I felt like you were so ashamed about what happened and that Char happened upon us. I'd waited for years for you to finally allow something to happen and then you were just—gone." Peter said and I shifted off his lap. This sounded like an overdue conversation.

"I was scared, Pete." He croaked. "So scared."

Peter brought his hands to cup Jasper's face much like Jasper's hands were doing and they searched each other's eyes.

"There ain't nothin' to be scared of now." Peter said and then placed his lips over Jasper's in a sensual kiss.

A/N: Once again, this story took a route I wasn't expecting but I am glad they got some stuff out there. The chapter wanted to keep going but I had to cut if off somewhere! For those of you still reading, thank you!
