Chapter 12: Gotcha bitch!

Roy rubbed his eyes as he had been keeping one against a telescope for quite some time. It was honestly boring, but he was used to such long periods from previous experiences. That and having someone by his side would allow the time to pass until something changed in the current situation. At least, when Husk wasn't in the bathroom for the fifth time already.

"Ah…sure you don't wanna go the bathroom?" asked a returning Husk. He opened the door and joined Roy once again.

"I am good Husk…thanks." Roy adjusted himself and felt comfortable yet again. "I did my business before we got here…also, haven't had anything to change my mind…" For a few moments, he lowered the telescope and rubbed both of his eyes yet. "Although I thought that you would have been good by the time we first got here…"

**A few hours ago**

"Alright I know it's not that far away…I say we'll be gone for ten minutes tops?"

"No rush guys; take your time," insisted Roy as he watched Husk, Niffty, and Cherri making their way towards the elevator. Leaning back, Angel was on his phone leaning against the corner. "So you're sure Velvet lives here?"

"Trust me Roy: I've got sources." Angel winked as he continued to text on his phone before letting out a yawn. "I don't know when she'll show, but she'll show…"

Roy could tell that Angel was in the mood for a nap as he could hear him adjusting himself before removing his jacket and covering himself. "Hopefully she won't take too long…" As he said this, he reached for a small duffle bag and pulled out his telescope. "Want us to wake you up or…?"

"Ahhhh~" Yawning, Angel began to close his eyes. "Nah I should wake up on my own after half an hour or so…hmmm…"

There was silence as Roy was making assumptions of where Velvet's room was. There wasn't lighting behind every window he glanced at, and those that were did not give him any clues.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Hey Roy?"

Roy turned his head ever so slightly.

"Read me a story~"

"Fuck you!"

"Hmmmm that's my favorite~"

**Presently**

(I completely set myself up into that…)

"How are we out of water?"

"I told you that a gallon wouldn't be enough; how long have we been here exactly?"

"I don't know…four…five hours?"

Naturally Roy groaned as Husk displayed the empty gallon container. Despite his protests that there had to be more, Roy knew that they would come to regret their current situation. Of course, the positive thing about their current situation was that Velvet's home surprisingly easy to spy on. This along with their vehicle parked at a perfect level within the parking garage right across said home. Yet Roy had to admit that the amount of time it took to drive up to this level was a clear indication of how difficult it could be to reach Velvet's current location. It had been two hours since they spotted her in one room before eventually finding her in her own room.

"Well is she doing anything else?" asked Husk.

"Nope," said Roy, looking through the telescope. Thankfully it wasn't difficult to see Velvet doing whatever it was she was doing in her room. "Wendy is just moving around her room texting on her phone…." As Roy said this, he looked at his phone expecting to receive some form of message from Velvet. Hell the only reason he didn't send a message himself was because he continued to assume that she would send one quite soon. Who had she been texting back and forth with this entire time?

"Roy if we're really doing this over a rug, why don't you just give her that phone back for a trade?" Husk suggested, yawning with a grumble.

"And let her win? When Hell freezes!" Roy was naturally too stubborn to do anything like that…and even if he wasn't, could he trust Velvet?

"OH…"

Roy raised an eyebrow at Husk's tone. "What?"

"…You've technically never been here during summer…"

"…Yeah…?"

"Hell is ironically funny like that; it gets much colder rather than hotter at that time."

"I- Are you serious?"

Husk nodded much to Roy's disbelief. "But the point is, you're really going through a lot of trouble over some stupid rug…" As he said this, he pulled out his magazine to pick up where he left off.

Once again, Roy had to stress the most important thing. "Husk, it-"

"Yeah yeah: 'really ties the room together' right? What the fuck does that even mean?" Husk looked at him, completely unamused for a moment.

"…That, it ties the room together…" Roy gave a stern look of annoyance.

"You know that you can just buy another one right? For a fella like you who doesn't want Velvet to 'win', you would be giving her the satisfaction that it angers you…"

As expected, Roy would have an answer to that. "It's not just because I like the rug Husk; this is a matter of principle…" Roy looked through the telescope again and from what he could tell, Velvet was now shouting at whoever was on the other side of a phone call. He would like to think it was because she was upset about his encounter with those bounty hunters going in his favor.

Husk turned a page before responding with, "Kid, I know what it means to be disrespected and wanting payback. When I was alive and even while I am here in Hell, I get my fair share of shit like that… He licked his finger before turning the next page. "But this is just stupid shit to get worked over…"

"Well luckily for me, you didn't take much convincing to come here with me…" Roy finally took a break as he gave the telescope to Husk. "As long as you and the others are with me, your opinions matter little…" Roy wasn't going to risk a situation of where being outnumbered could be a deadly result for him.

"Yeah yeah don't remind me…" Looking through the telescope, Husk reached down and opened his bottle of Baileys. In hindsight he could have at least up Roy's offer to two bottles…or maybe buy his own. "Wish they hurry back already; I am fucking hungry…" He took another long sip of Irish cream before letting out a long sigh. "Speaking of, how did you convince the others to come?"

Roy kept his eyes closed while he answered Husk. "Well for you, just a bottle of alcohol…" Luckily with Husk being a cat, he believed that a sweet creamy beverage would work. Little did he realize, Husk would have taken anything with alcohol as a bribe. "As for the others…well Angel and Cherri surprised me."

**A few hours ago**

"Come on already! You're bleeding me dry here!" complained Roy as he watched Angel and Cherri sit down in front of him.

"Hey you said we could have anything, and gelato was the fucking deal!" argued Angel before he happily began to enjoy his seventh serving.

Meanwhile Cherri was having the time of her life, pleased to be eating more and more before she said, "Holy shit you were right; pistachio is amazing!"

"I bet ya feel less stupid huh?" said a grinning Angel as he too was going crazy for the lovely treat.

"Can't argue with that~"

(These fucking two…) Roy groaned as his wallet was thinner now.

**Presently**

"Thankfully, Niffty was easier than I thought…although…"

**A few hours ago**

"Alastor look! I am a sailor!"

"And a cute one at that my dear!"

"Roy, make them go higher!"

"Niffty I can't reach any higher!"

Roy was trying his best to hold up the toy figures that looked like jets. But when you were in water trying to move a "ship" at the same time with someone on it, it wasn't exactly easy.

"Okay time for them to land!" said Niffty as she held out two flashlights and began to do random signs/movements with them.

"Right…" Roy wanted to correct her on how things actually worked on a carrier, but he knew better. (Don't be an asshole and kill the mood for her…) "Roger that! Coming in for a landing!" said Roy as he guided the toy figures around and "landed" them on Niffty's inflatable pool boat.

"Successful landing!" said a cheerful Niffty. "Now to park it right?"

"Yes."

"Okay, I'll guide them to- Woooooah!"

Niffty attempted to bend down and move the jets only to lose balance and fall off her pool boat. The moment she did, Roy's life vest inflated almost immediately the moment it made contact with water. However, his cranial had slipped off given that she did not want to properly secure it on her head.

"Wow, it does inflate!" said an amazed Niffty.

"Fuck didn't remove the bottle!" said Roy. Well that bottle was no good anymore.

"And that my dear is why safety is important!" said Alastor, watching from where he sat.

"So cool that it does that! Hey can we do that again?"

"The nitrogen bottle is one time use Niffty…" Roy sighed as he lifted Nifty back onto her pool boat.

Nifty stopped smiling as her eye looked down at the side. "Oh."

"…"

"…"

"You should have removed that bottle my dear boy~"

"Why are you even here?!" Roy got naturally annoyed as he looked at Alastor who was drinking tea by the pool side.

Alastor took a sip as he asked, "Is it a crime for one to enjoy themselves by the pool?"

"Kinda pointless when you're still wearing that suit…at least theymaking full use of the poolside."

Roy pointed at the other two present: Charlie and Vaggie who were in their swimsuits and enjoying themselves with cold drinks and sunbathing all together. However, he would soon be distracted as Niffty had purposely jumped in the water yet again, just to enjoy herself floating around while giggling.

**Presently**

"…Kinda wished she also wanted gelato…" Roy rubbed his eyes.

"Should've removed that bottle."

"I KNOW!"

Roy groaned as he was once again feeling irritated and stressed. Sure, these were silly things by themselves, but all together they really had his blood boiling. "God it's hard to stay awake…I am going to take a nap."

"And I'll keep looking I guess…" Obviously Husk wasn't enjoying watching Velvet do nothing of interest. "You sure she would have this rug near her? I still don't see it in the room."

"Well it has to be; she wouldn't risk it being taken back by me if she went through the trouble taking it."

"And how do we know that she didn't just destroy it?" Husk took a moment to look at Roy. "That would piss you off even more right?" he asked before looking through the telescope yet again.

"If she did she would send me a video or at least images; the fact that I would know this from her would be sweet for her…"

"Good point."

"I am sure she's going to reveal it sooner or later…" Grumbling, Roy got more comfortable as he was close to falling asleep. Maybe a short nap would do the trick as his mind was still restless from the last twenty-four hours.

"Hmhmm…" Husk took another sip as Velvet wasn't doing much aside from expressing anger while on the phone. This went on for a few more minutes while he and Roy continued to make comments about how and when they would spot what they were looking for. Suddenly, she finished talking the phone by tossing it onto her bed and walking slightly out of view.

"She's done with her call…" Husk continued to watch. And watch. And…Velvet suddenly began to strip. "!" Husk's expression changed as he dropped his bottle of bailey's softly by his foot.

"What's she doing now?"

Husk's eyes widen as Velvet was moving her hands behind her and seemingly undoing her attire. After a few moments she turned a bit thus allowing Husk to have a better view of what she was doing. "…Huh?" he finally said.

"What's she doing Husk?" repeated Roy, getting increasingly comfortable in his position.

"…She's just…standing around not doing much…" Husk's heart raced as Velvet's bare back was soon revealed. He had yet to adjust his telescope for juicer details, but he was quite content like this…for now.

Content himself, Roy then advised, "Well don't fall asleep; sooner or later something's gonna happen…"

"Okay I'll just try to stay awake…" Husk swallowed slowly as his face was getting flustered; Velvet finally had relieved herself of her main attire revealing her nearly nude figure. "…even tho it's so fucking boring…"

Things were escalating a lot sooner than expected as Velvet was now stroking her neck and running her hands down her body before stretching in a very tasteful matter. "Oooh…slow down baby…"

Roy opened an eye. "What?"

"Huh? N-Nothing!" said Husk, realizing that he was thinking too loudly in that last part.

"What did you just say?" Roy raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"I said nothing!"

"Yes you did; what was it?"

"No no no I didn't say shit!" insisted a somewhat restless Husk as his breathing had increased. Especially as Velvet moved closer into his view to grab something…while conveniently for Husk, bending down to display more of her lovely figure.

"…" Roy opened both eyes this time as Husk's increased breathing was becoming too distracting. That and Husk was rubbing his neck that did not indicate a calm person.

Meanwhile, Husk watched as Velvet was starting to remove her arm sleeves before leaning down to her thigh-length socks. His mouth slightly drooled seeing the infamous Overlord revealing more and more skin. Maybe he should adjust the scope for a closer look…

Finally did Roy give up on trying to sleep as he rubbed his eyes for a few moments and stood up straight, asking, "Okay Husk what's going on; what's up with you?"

Husk had a stupid smile on his face, clearly in a daze of bliss with what he was seeing. "…She's getting undressed."

That woke Roy up. "…What?"

Smiling even more, Husk said, "She's getting undressed. She's just- Hey!"

"Give me that!"

Naturally, Roy took back the telescope where he slowly began to look into it while Husk protested to his actions. "…" Suddenly, he saw Velvet.

Velvet just happened to be stretching once again while letting out an obvious yawn at the same time. Her lovely figure caused Roy to once again react the same way he did when he first saw those images of her. From the first night he began using her phone and saw what he saw, he had such a perspective of her that occasionally popped up in his mind. Once again, he was reminded that she was a lingerie-type of woman.

"LORD HAVE MERCY."

"What?"

"She took her bra off!"

"Give me-!"

Roy naturally kept Husk off as his heart continued to race while his face flustered to no end. Even to the point where he swallowed with some difficulty and even loosened his collar. Things did not get easier for the perverted demon as Velvet had allowed her hair free and began to secure it by one mere ponytail. This naturally displayed her chest even more causing Roy to instinctively adjust the telescope for the first time since they arrived. Even taking note of her bra on the bed and what she still had on.

"…White lingerie...with red accents…wait, that design…Sin's Temptation. Top recommended tier, page 32!" Roy began to stop. "She has taste!"

"Wait, how do you know that?"

"I read their monthly stuff online of the most recent edition this morning…" Roy slowly pulled the telescope away as to give himself a breather.

"Wait, you're serious!" Husk couldn't believe such a coincidence.

"Husk, I was very stressed this morning!" Roy gave Husk a dirty look before looking back at Velvet through the telescope. "Also, Hell has some really erotic lady figures…" (How else is a guy suppose to relieve himself of stress…baking? Anyway, let's adjust this some more…)

Once again Roy adjusted a bit more, seeing even more details and something that he believed to be a tattoo. "…Is that a Snoopy tattoo…?"

"Snoopy?" Husk looked at Roy who verified what he said. "Hey I like Snoopy!" he insisted, once again trying to take the telescope as an excuse.

"Hey fuck off man I like Snoopy too!" said a stubborn Roy was never going to give up the telescope now. "Also, aren't you a cat?"

Husk naturally protested otherwise as he said, "Does it fucking matter? I respect his choice of lifestyle! Also, I wasn't always a fucking cat…"

"Fair enough," yield Roy as he continued to be creepy. Looking closer, he realized that he made a mistake due to his perspective playing tricks on him…but did it matter when she had quite the body? Yet as he watched Velvet finally remove her lower garments, he began to notice a change in her body behavior.

Rather than her behave as if this was a complete chore, she suddenly slowed down. Slowly did she continued to strip as she then had her attention on something that he couldn't see. From her expression and behavior, it seemed to be a mirror as she was moving her limbs around and spinning around for a moment while looking over her shoulder. Her long hair would naturally block out a lot of details but only behind her and for a brief moment. Suddenly she stopped.

"…"

Roy watched as Velvet slowly began to softly touch her skin in a very careful matter. Was she…afraid?

"…"

The tone shifted a bit as Roy began to question if what he saw was really tattoo…so much so that he adjusted the telescope one final time. This time, he did not feel his heart racing, nor did he get increasingly flustered. Quite the opposite was happening as Roy's expression shifted entirely, suddenly now realizing what she was behaving the way she did and recalled how some pictures on her phone was quite different than the first set that he saw.

"Well?"

"…It's nothing…"

Husk watched in confusion as Roy suddenly adjusted the telescope to zoom out. "What happened?"

"She got dressed again," lied Roy as he stopped watching for a few moments. However, when he noticed that Velvet was doing something different entirely, he looked through the telescope again. "Jackpot-"

Not expecting this, he watched as Velvet lifted something off the ground that he couldn't see before. The very rug he was looking for was placed on the bed before she began to put on her robe. He could recognize the pattern as he adjusted the telescope quickly to verify this. After Velvet finished adjusting her black robe, she then oddly faced the rolled up rug where she then reached for her phone to make a call. While not clear regarding the nature of this conversation, she was a lot calmer compared to what Husk described last time.

"…"

After Velvet finished her call, she tossed her phone softly next to the rug before focusing on it entirely. Then, Velvet held her waist on either side where she shook her head and walked away.

"Alright I spotted the rug; it IS in her room…" Roy closed the telescope and stepped out of the car where Husk followed.

"Great how do we get in again?"

"Well you have wings right?" Roy faced Husk as they stood next to the car and stretched their legs a bit. "Can't you fly us over there?"

Husk stroked his neck as he looked to the side. "…"

"…You can fly…right?"

"That's not the issue kid." Husk elaborated more. "I've been drinking nonstop in the last two hours." Pointing with his thumb, the opened door had revealed not only an empty bottle of Bailey's, but a lot of empty items that once consisted of alcohol. "And if you think that driving while drinking is bad…you don't want to see a flyer like me…"

Roy sighed but ever so softly. "Well that would have made things a little more convenient but I have a backup plan…"

"Your chains?"

"My chains."

"Well can you even reach that far?" Husk faced the building and walked closer to the end of where they parked. "Unless there's no limit? Besides I think crashing into her room is a bit too direct; we don't know how this Overlord will react."

"Aside from being pissed? I don't know but I don't disagree; I am going to get us through one of the nearby rooms…" Roy joined him and pointed at one direction. "So far I don't think that I really have a limit…I tried something this morning and as always, never felt any limits…"

"Sounds good…what of the others?" Husk looked at Roy who was already on his phone. "They should have been back by now…"

"…" A slight nod came from Roy as he waited for an answer. "…Angel."

"What's up?"

"Where are you guys? We're done spying and about to break in."

"Eh sorry we kinda ran into an issue…"

Roy and Husk looked at one another. "…" Slowly, Roy asked, "…What kind of issue?"

"WHO THE FUCK PUTS ONLY TWO PIECES OF JALAPEÑO?! IMMA BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF!"

Angel watched as Cherri was not pleased that this burger place had gone cheap with her order. Both he and Nifty were holding bags of the food that they were all planning to eat at the stakeout that Roy had set up. Cherri of course wanted to eat one of her burgers while they walked, only to realize that her order was less than her personal standards.

"IT WAS YOU, WASN'T IT?!"

"I just wash dishes!"

Angel watched as Cherri began to blow things up literally thus causing chaos. He wasn't even amused but just lacking any sort of reaction to give as he said, "Yeahhhh Imma have to call you back…"

"I-" Sadly Angel ended the call thus verifying that it would be a while before the others came back. "I guess we're on our own for now."

"Well this is gonna be a fucking disaster…"

Soon Roy and Husk walked to one end of the parking garage, now quite a distance away from the car. Roy would then lean over the edge getting a proper reminder of how high they were from ground level. Husk meanwhile glanced at the general direction trying to decide the best spot to break into. After a few moments, he pointed at one room that looked promising.

"Don't see anyone in there…looks like just a hallway…" It was noted that this was three levels down. "And if Velvet really owns this entire building then it shouldn't be too hard too get to where she is…"

"Alright…" Roy paused as he then turned around and held up a fist, focusing until a large wave of chains shot between him and Husk across the empty garage level that they were on. Safe to say that Roy could successfully reach the distance that was needed as the chains vanished moments later. "Okay we are golden…"

"Didn't you say that you tried this already?"

"Trust but verify doesn't hurt…"

With that Roy leaned over the edge and focused for a few moments. Suddenly a lovely wave of those chains flew across the air and connected with the building in no time at all. Yet Roy was not content as he sent more waves of chains to layer this bridge as much as possible. When he was content, he slowly adjusted himself and added his foot for weight.

"…"

Everything seemed quite well as he applied more weight until he stood completely on thus chain bridge. Carefully, he moved a bit and found that it was surprisingly stable to a great extent. Soon Husk joined him as this bridge was wide and thick enough for them to move about. Soon, Roy began to lead the way while taking his time and making sure that he didn't push his luck. Husk would delay this for a bit as he rubbed his face before taking the first few steps.

*One minute later*

"That wasn't so bad…" Husk sighed and wiped his forehead as he looked to where they started. "How long will this last here?"

"Hours maybe? Never waited around but as you can tell it's reliable when used presently…"

Husk watched as Roy leaned against the window examining it for a bit, seemingly trying to think of a way how to get through.

"Maybe we should have waited for Cherri…" Roy knocked on the glass and could tell how thick it was.

"Outta the way…" Husk moved in front of Roy where he then revealed his nails. As one would expect, Husk made quick work of the glass where a perfect large opening was soon created. Thankfully the piece didn't shatter as it laid flat in the hallway. "Jesus that was a thick layer…" Husk examined his nails for a few moments as he went in first, with Roy following close behind.

"Alright Velvet's room shouldn't be far…" Roy stood up and looked at either ends: shaped like a "L", there was a door at the end of the hallway to their right, while turning a corner on their left would also reveal another door ahead. "I am guessing this way…"

Both Roy and Husk turned at the corner and approached the door before them. Slowly, Roy and Husk made eye contact for a few moments before the later opened the door slowly.

"…"

"…"

There was a gentle sigh of relief as there was no demon in sight. Unlike the well-lit hallway, this room was fairly dark, with the only source of illumination coming from the LEDs systematically laid out. It took only a few moments for them to realize that they were in a barroom.

"Well what luck… Hopefully we can get to her room and get out before she realizes that we're here." Roy walked a few steps and allowed his eyes to adjust properly. "Well there's the door…Husk."

"Hang on I need to sober up."

"Bloody Mary? You know those things don't technically cure you right?"

"No shit; everyone knows they just make things more tolerable," said Husk. "Help yourself if you're craving a drink."

"After we get the rug back. I wanna be as sober as possible…" Roy paused for a moment as Husk finished his drink.

Husk took notice of Roy's actions. "Changed your mind?" he asked, watching Roy place a few ingredients on the counter.

"On the way back so that we don't waste any time getting out of here…" Roy thankfully could see quite clearly now.

"I'll have a Long Island, baby."

Both Roy and Husk froze as their attention shifted directly across the room. At the corner near the doorway, was a tall very recognizable demon sitting down with his legs crossed. With a phone in one hand and a cigarette in another, Valentino gave a playful wave with a third. Wiggling those fingers with a clear indication of delight.

Roy said nothing and neither did Husk given that coming across another Overlord out of pure luck left them silent.

"Relax Roy; I ain't gonna involve myself with whatever you have going on with sweet little Velvet~" said a still sitting Valentino. He took a moment to smoke and sigh in approval before adding, "I was actually about to leave."

(That's reassuring…) "If it isn't my favorite pimp demon~" Roy smoothly produced a smile of his own as he leaned against the counter. "…Husk…" Glancing at Husk, he gave a nod before making his way to the Overlord and even reached for his hat. "If you don't mind me asking, what brings you here to Velvet's condo?" Slowly, he removed his hat. "Have you been enjoying yourself for that long?" Thinking back to quite recently, Velvet was in her room alone for a long time. At least for the last two hours when she finally showed up.

"I have a busy life Roy; little moments like this between my scheduled tasks is priceless. Why not milk it for as long as possible? As for why I am even here at Velvet's…" A trail of red fumes began to pour out of his nostrils as he said, "A bit of business really… Although she wasn't seemingly interested in our little meeting."

"What do you mean?"

"She was looking over that damn phone of hers…as if she was expecting something important."

Roy placed his hat down as he sat down and crossed his legs as well. Was Velvet also expecting him to have messaged her since she took his rug? Valentino did not give the impression that he was lying. Because for the life of him, Roy could not think of a reason why he would. "I am sorry to hear that…"

Valentino gave a slight nod as he inhaled a few more fumes. "…I don't suppose you mind me asking…but have you been talkative with her as of late?" As he asked this, he lowered his sunglasses ever so slightly.

"When she's threatening me? Yes. Aside from that? Well, let's just say I decided to give her a personal visit…"

"Well do be considerate and try not to get rid of her? There's a reason why I am nonchalantly here having a conversation with you without worry…" As if on cue, he turned slightly to Husk who held up a Long Island Iced Tea. With a nod of approval, a low, "Thank you kindly~" was heard before he took a sip. A lovely sigh then came from him as he then continued the conversation. "Hence I humbly request that you try to be civil if you can afford it…"

"…" Roy wasn't sure if Valentino only valued Velvet for purely business reasons or also personal ones. Regardless, he gave a slight nod in return as he said, "I would want to avoid any issues if possible…which leads me to ask you this: is Vox here as well?"

"Heh, nah. You don't have to worry about him my boy…" Valentino continued to enjoy his drink. "Ahhh… It's just me and Velvet as the only Overlords in this very building…"

"Good to know. Well I should let you be…" Standing up, he grabbed his hat but was stopped by Valentino who stood up straight.

"If I may Roy…"

Roy glanced at Valentino, unbothered by his actions.

"I was planning on having my little favorite thing inform you, but as luck would have it, I can just ask you face to face." Valentino leaned back and held his tall glass for a few moments. "I would actually be honored if you could offer a bit of your time and come to my studio where we could…talk."

"Talk," repeated Roy.

"That's right Roy. You and I haven't really gotten a chance to formally discuss things aside from our first encounter. After all, while you made quite the impression, I felt that taking up more of your time was just bad taste…" He finished his Long Island before placing the glass down and began to stand up. "I do hope to see you say…Saturday? Maybe at noon?"

The orange demon faced Valentino, once again being reminded how great their size difference was and yet, how civil things seemed to end between them. "…" Roy did not blink but did give Valentino a bit of courtesy as he placed his hat on his head. "I don't see a problem with that…"

Valentino's teeth soon revealed themselves entirely as he said, "Why thank you Roy. You won't regret this…" Holding out his hand, he did not need long for the chance to shake Roy's before adding, "Our mutual special friend will take you to me, so that you don't get lost~"

"Remind me again: who are we talking about?" asked Roy.

"Why sweet, lovely Angel Dust…"

Roy's eyes widened ever so discreetly.

"I'll see you this weekend…ciao~"

With that, he gave a nod before making his way out of the room, taking the door that both Roy and Husk took beforehand. And just like that, he was gone.

(That's right…how could I forget?) Roy still did not turn towards the door as he was a bit occupied in his mind, even looking down and remembering what he learned. It was quite surprising that he forgot that Angel also had a relationship with an Overlord or two, and with Valentino of all demons.

Husk kept his eyes on the door as he walked up to Roy before saying, "Holy fuck he could have been a problem…" Husk looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Didn't take you for a popular guy for Overlords… Hell I am still in disbelief that we're here in Velvet's home…"

"Well I must be the most unluckiest resident of Hell…" Roy sighed as he began to make way to the other door. "I've met everyone- save for the other Overlords- except Satan…or Lucifer? Whoever runs Hell…" Opening the door, they found themselves in another room. This one, was naturally matching the taste of Velvet in terms of aesthetics. Dark tones of red, black, and any other color seen on Velvet was express by either the furniture, lighting, or flooring and walls.

With little interest they both continued on to where they came across another hallway. This repeated of a consistent pattern: a room or two before coming across a hallway. While no one was seen thankfully, their sense of direction did make them question if they were progressing or not. Eventually their concerns would vanish when they came across a stairway that would lead them closer to Velvet's location.

**Meanwhile**

"Oh I ate too much…." Angel Dust rubbed his stomach for a moment as he finished his food and was slowly feeling sleeply.

"Oh! Can I have the rest of your fries?" Niffty asked, slurping her milkshake as Angel began to push his fries towards her.

"Knock yourself out~ Jesus Cherri, how many of those did you order?"

Cherri licked her fingers before answering his question. "Enough…" She reached into her bag and unwrapped another burger. Funny enough she did not recall what number she gave when her order was taken. Regardless, she was far from satisfied as she took a bite of perhaps her twelfth burger. "Hmmm…so should we get going? Roy and Husk already went on ahead."

"Hmmm…" Drinking his root beer, Angel glanced at the chain bridge that Roy obviously made beforehand. Leaning over the edge of the parking lot, he got a reminder of how high they were. "Yeah, we probably should…how long does this thing last?" Asking this, Angel took a moment to stress-test the chain bridge.

"Hopefully long enough for us to get across!" Niffty was finally done with her food, plus Angel's leftovers, and thus felt the need for something else. Without hesitation, she leaped over the edge and gently landed on the chain bridge, casually walking on it without care. Sure enough, Angel and Cherri followed with Cherri still holding onto her bag of burgers.

"Mow, dnini't noo waat Roy could-" Cherri finally swallowed her food before finishing with, "-reach that far!" Looking over the bridge's' edge and looking behind them, she only spotted and knew about Roy's little trick on a random previous occasion. "How far do you think he can reach?"

"Far enough obviously!" said a cheerly Niffty. "Roy is fun in more ways than one!"

The three of them finally reached their destination where they then slipped into the opening made by Husk previously. Now inside, they considered their two only options for a few moments.

"So which way?" asked Cherri as she unwrapped yet another burger.

"Um…flip a coin?" Angel suggested, rubbing his head as he was slightly at a lost. He then made good on his word by reaching into his top's pocket holding up a coin. "Heads we go dat way, tails we go the other way…"

All watched as the coin spung in the air before landing onto Angel's hand where he immediately slapped the coin against a free one. With the result soon revealed, they made their way towards a doorway…

**Meanwhile**

Husk groaned as he looked at was before them. "Why…so many doors…?"

"I'll be honest: I think she's sadistic enough to leave some traps behind certain doors…"

"What makes you say that?"

Roy rubbed his neck as the hallway they were in had many doors leading to an end. "Well what hallway is set up like this? Obviously, we'll take the one at the very end…"

"Well maybe it's too obvious? I'll admit, I've been to Alastor's place and while that place is odd, it was never this complex. And the fact that we haven't ran into anyone yet is what's bugging me…"

"Wait, you think it's a trap?" Roy stopped but Husk continued on, walking past him.

"Maybe? But whatever is behind that door…you'll be able to protect us right?"

"Well I should…"

While there was a moment of hesitation, Husk opened the door and they found themselves in a poorly lit pathway. While also a hallway, the walls were completely black with the floor and lighting giving a gentle tone of red. This was not exactly ideal when they were becoming quite cautious not long ago. That and there was a forked path, each direction leading to a door.

Both Roy and Husk pondered on which door to take but it was Husk who spoke up first. "Maybe we should both take a door?"

"Shouldn't we be careful? Like we just said-"

"Yeah, but something tells me that splitting up may save us time; I know we've been walking for a good while but we're gonna be here forever if we don't cover more ground…"

Before Roy could protest, Husk already began to take the right path leaving Roy to take the left. (Whatever…it should be fine right? I wonder why he changed his mind so easily…) Roy then began to make his way to the left.

Husk meanwhile smirked as he could hear Roy walking farther away from him. If his nose and "feelings" were spot on, then this door led to… "…Jackpot!"

**Meanwhile**

Roy took his time opening the door before him, having feeling somewhat uneasy with how the overall tone of his surroundings. Yet as he saw what was before him, he was relieved somewhat: he finally found himself in Velvet's room. Then again, he was in Velvet's room.

(Make this quick before she comes back…)

Roy easily spotted his rug and made his way to it, wrapping it with his chains and keeping it quite secured. When that was done, he began to produce a few more chains as he pressed it against his back and soon had the rug safely secured on him. With that he flexed and moved a bit to make sure that it was snugged enough for him to move about without worry.

(Wonder where Wendy is…) thought Roy, looking at one doorway and assuming that it led to her bathroom. Given by how large the room was, he was thankful that she did not seemingly hear him entering her room due to distance between the two doors. In fact, he did not hear anything occurring from behind that door to verify any activities going on.

As he was about to take his leave, Roy noticed something: a mirror. Thinking back to when he spied on her not long ago, he recalled her observing himself when facing the same direction that he did. And the more he looked closely, the more he realized that the mirror was not the only thing that she was looking at: there were pictures. Various pictures of…Velvet.

"…" His curiosity had grown too much to simply ignore this as he moved closer and closer until he was finally where he assumed Velvet stood not long ago. These images…they were-

*CLICK*

Roy turned around just in time to see Velvet returning from her apparent bath, with a hand on the doorknob while another was holding up the towel that wrapped her head. Adding credit to his assumption, a distinct stream had followed her that was so thick that he could barely see what went on in there. Her bathrobe was not particularly unique but was all black just as he saw beforehand. Her feet were not seen as her robe had concealed them from his eyes, but her robe was snugged around her figure shaping it properly.

"…Hey there-"

*WRING!*

Roy barely avoided the knife that came at him as it impacted the frame of her mirror behind him. Verifying this, he reached for his cheek as it stung to very unpleasantly levels. This of course caused Roy to tremble a bit as he reached with two fingers and saw the fresh crimson liquid that was his blood. "…¡Hijueputa!"

"You know, you're quite pale for a latino fella!" shouted a very displeased Velvet. Her anger and disgust could not be any more blatant as another knife was soon launched at Roy.

This time, Roy avoided the knife entirely, not bothering to see where it landed as he had more important things to focus on. "We come in all colors of the fucking rainbow! UGH!" Another knife was avoided as Velvet was clearly not in the mood to talk this time.

"HOW. THE. FUCK. DID. YOU. GET. HERE?!" Velvet revealed three more knives held by a fist as she came at him while launching said knives.

Roy clapped his hands as a wall of chains shot from the ground and blocked the knives, ceasing their momentum as they fell. Spreading his hands, the chains vanished just in time for him to see Velvet holding a knife. Not to throw but to swing and stab it towards the orange demon. "Through the window-!"

Velvet missed as Roy jumped back, causing her to follow him with a swing. "YOU FUCKING CREEP- WHILE I WAS TAKING A BATH?!"

"I WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO LEAVE! GH!" Roy barely dropped to his knees and switched positions with Velvet after her recent swing. As he quickly stood up, he added, "Also, I didn't mean your window- HEY!" Roy called on his chains yet again where her wrist was caught and held, traveling from the floor to the ceiling to keep her in the same spot. "There- Now I'll just-"

It was a mistake for Roy to stay in the same spot, as he allowed Velvet to swing at him again but with a free hand this time. The cut, was as unappealing as the one on his cheek, given that his forearm released a terrible amount of blood initially. Rather than just give himself a moment to comprehend the pain, he jolted backwards nearly falling in the process.

Velvet relished seeing her prey scramble in their attempts to escape. It…gave her quite the rush in a sense. In fact, "LEAVING SO SOON?!" Velvet forced her way through the chains with the same level of bloodlust. Seeing that cut properly for the first time did create a level of satisfaction however, causing her to cease her momentum for the briefish of moments. Her mouth closed slightly as she looked at the wound she created before making direct eye-contact with Roy. "…"

"…" That look was not a good sign as Roy failed to balance himself properly and was crawling backwards by this point.

"…You know…" Velvet held up her knife, demonstrating the amount of blood that was still dripping from the metal. "…You actually look...cute the way you are…"

Roy's pupils adjusted as Velvet continued to make direct eye-contact, never once blinking, and lifting the same weapon close to her face…until it actually touched her cheek. The untainted side of the metal pressed softly against her cheek. Naturally, Roy's heart began to race the longer this went on and the closer Velvet approached him, taking all the time in the world. Things escalated to a very dangerous state, as she adjusted the knife at an angle were she could lick the blade on its flat side. This resulted in her getting a taste of his blood as she pulled the blade away from her face, even with some of his blood leaving a mark on her upper cheek. Roy may have seen many things in his life and in his death, but coming face to face with a blatant sociopath who enjoys the use of blades was quite a new thing.

In fact, Roy was completely frozen as sweat began to run down his body. He wanted to create more space between them. He wanted to call on his chains again to protect him. He wanted…to feel safe. But he couldn't. Roy simply couldn't as Velvet began to slide down and apply some weight on him with very little resistance, as even the rug on his back gave limited support. Almost seductively, her breath could be easily felt as she grasped his collar to hold him in place while carefully bringing the blade closer to her.

"There's just something special about seeing the fear in others…" Velvet looked at him with lowered eyelids as she was seemingly lost in the moment. "There's just a subtle, yet thrilling, rush when you get to see hope leaving from another being slowly…" The blade gently pressed against his skin, not piercing but causing enough pressure for discomfort. No blood touched his skin…yet. "Tell me…you ever had this-"

Velvet's words stopped as Roy would not stop blinking his eyes aggressively before mummering a few words. "No…no- NO!" This was the final push as Roy suddenly glowed orange before the familiar chains came to his rescue. Perfectly secured, Velvet would be unable to drop down as Roy quickly began to pull back and finally had the will to stand up on his feet as Velvet began to struggle with frustration.

"Fuck why did I- URGH!" Velvet couldn't break free as the chains were very thorough, wrapping and shaping most of her figure and limbs. She could not even shake the chains no matter what she did as she spat out hostility towards Roy who was making his escape. "GET BACK HERE!"

Roy naturally did not bother to give a remark as he was already a distance from her bedroom door. Already panting heavily, he reached the next door and placed his hand on the knob hastily.

"You found it."

Roy ceased his momentum as Husk made himself known, holding a bag over his shoulder with a bottle in hand. It was pretty clear that Husk came across a very appealing room. "I see you raided her liquor cabinet."

"More like a cellular with variety," corrected Husk as he walked past Roy, pushing the door opened before adding, "Let's go before Velvet realizes we're here…" There was no response from Roy.

**Meanwhile**

"HMUFUFMFMM."

"Would ya shut up already?" Angel smacked the demon once again. "Yer lucky I didn't leave ya on the floor!" Angel huffed as he walked away from the couch, looking to Cherri and Niffty who were finishing with the last demon. It wasn't easy but they took care of Velvet's goons eventually with little trouble.

"So you always carry rope and duct tape on you? Or was it just for this occasion?" Cherri stood up and gently nudged the demon with her foot, rolling them onto their front.

"All the time!" Niffty nodded with a smile as she seemingly made the duct tape and rope disappear behind her.

"I like you!" A grinning Cherri gestured at her with a finger point. "So should we keep going or go the other way? I mean, Roy and Husk had to run into these guys before us right?"

"I don't even remember how to get back there…" Angel Dust took a moment to sit on the coffee table with both arms and legs crossed. "Should we just head back to the car? I think that if we head down we can get low enough to jump off the window without getting hurt."

"We're pretty high; we can go down a few levels lower first if we can help it."

"What of Roy and Husk?"

"Shit you're right…I guess we can go back to that spot where we all entered and wait for them?"

All in agreement, the trio began to make their back to where they first entered the building. Surprisingly, it was easier than expected to find their way back. This of course due to the tied-up demons that they left behind which essentially played a part. Then, there was the occasional empty rooms and spaces that they carefully tread.

"Oh yeah, we did go this way."

"How do you know?"

"Knocked over this stupid vase that was in my way."

Convinced, Cherri led the trio back to where they started this minor adventure. Hopefully they would find Roy and Husk who achieved their goal of finding…

"…Was it a rug?"

"I think so?"

"Wait did we really come here for a rug? I forget…"

"Oh my god." Angel Dust stopped causing the other two to follow suit. "We came here for a fucking rug!" he said, realizing how ridiculous this really was.

"Wait, you guys are here for a rug…?"

"Huh, this wasn't tied properly…hold on...there!"

The demon muffed as the intruders made sure that her mouth cover would have a tighter knot. This was confirmed as the demon failed to loosen the cover no despite her head shakes thus silencing her for good this time.

Cherri glanced at the other demons and did not see any indication of other loose knots. Nope, these demons were all properly handled when they first came across one another. "Come on I wanna get out of here before someone else comes by."

"I think we'll be more than prepared!" insisted Niffty as she effortlessly jumped over a demon. "Besides Roy should handle anything tougher than a few minions; chances are he may have dealt with Velvet right?"

"Well he did tell me that when he and Angel escaped Vox, he effortlessly handled her like nothing. Those chains seem to get the job done when needed from what it sounds like," said Cherri.

Angel opened the next door as Niffty said, "See? Roy has things handled!"

Angel thought about Niffty's words for a few moments; in theory, could Roy handle any Overlord? Then again, that moment where he attempted to restrain Alastor did make him have some doubts. Still, that encounter with how Roy handled two Overlords and multiple minions means that there's always some higher potential right? What if…

Cherri interrupted his thoughts as she asked, "Did we come across any demons here beforehand? Because if we did, I think they escaped."

"Huh?" Angel blinked as he didn't realize that they were in a completely different room now.

"You sure?" asked Niffty.

Cherri glanced around and crossed her arms. "I could've sworn that we got a few demons when we first came here…"

"I think you're right honey~"

The tone shifted quite a bit as a deep commanding voice was heard behind the trio. In fact, chills ran down Cherri as she and the other two shifted around to see a tall intimating figure standing behind them. Gently, Valentino leaned on the door partially closing it. He had both pairs of arms crossed, with one holding up a familiar red-vapor cigarette. His expression wasn't hostile, but those eyes and teeth always left quite the intimidation whenever one glanced at them.

"I see you've all had a bit of fun…" His words were accompanied by a cloud of redness that disappeared as he approached them. Naturally, they shifted out of his path as he continued to speak. "I got a bit lost and eventually came across some of Velvet's minions in this very room. Well-done by the way~ I am quite the fan of your knot work~"

Angel's heart was increasing at a dangerous rate despite the praise he and the others received. Naturally, he held his tongue and did his best to relax…

Meanwhile Cherri's expression shifted into intense stress; lines were becoming increasingly visible across her face. Oh and of course, there was her shifting her stance quite a bit.

"So after I freed said minions, we had a funny conversation about some unwelcoming guests here…so for some fun I figured I hang around and well color me surprise…" He turned around to face the three of them yet again. "I told them to keep their mouths shut so I doubt Velvet will be coming around here any time soon…but what a coincidence. Tell me good-looking: why are you here?"

Angel did not dare swallow as Velvet made direct eye-contact with him. Not even blinking, those red eyes were seemingly coming closer as if in sync with the approaching vapor. Shit, he had actually made his way towards him. Shit, now he was standing right in front of him. "I…"

Valentino raised an eyebrow as a one-eyed cherry-blonde stood between them. His brow furrowed as she was not displaying a friendly expression. However, Valentino was savvy with his social skills as he began to smile and hold out a hand. "Where are my manners? I am Valentino. Cherri Bomb correct? I am quite the admirer from your bombing session that you and Angel here did a few months ago~"

While Cherri would have loved to spit upon Valentino, the fact that he was being less than hostile was too good of a thing not to take advantage of. Thus, she carefully shook his hand. "Well I am glad my rep is getting me respect!" she said, forcing a partial smile. The handshake naturally ended quickly and she began to spoke up to take control of things. "We were looking for something and were making our way back out of here."

"You mean Roy's rug?" Things went silent for a few seconds. "I figured that's why he was here…" Taking a deep breath from his cigarette, he added, "Which reminds me…I need you to bring him to my office at the end of the week baby~"

"W-What?" Angel asked, speaking for the first time as he did not expect this.

"I am kinda envious with what he and Alastor apparent have: mutual respect for one another. Be a dear and make sure he shows up this Saturday…I'll text you the time~" Valentino then shifted towards the doorway before ending it with, "Oh and do take care of yourself Angel~ I don't want my favorite star being unable to perform his duties at work~"

"Nh-" Angel's face tensed up as well as his hands, clenching them as Valentino left the three of them alone. He felt Cherri holding one of them in an attempt to relax him. He did not bother to look at her but did relax a bit acknowledging that it was over now.

"Wowie he was tall…you know Valentino Angel?" Niffty asked, glancing at him.

"I have that unpleasant privilege yeah…" Angel felt tense once again before he began to lead the three of them towards the opposite direction…

**Meanwhile**

"Would you slow down? I doubt you remember exactly how what doors we took-"

"Trust me okay? I know that we're not far from it..."

Husk still had his doubts as Roy was in a major rush to get out. While it would be reasonable to assume that it was before Velvet realized that he got his rug back, what Roy told him not long ago made him somewhat restless as well. Regardless, he hoped that Roy was not going off of instinct and just bullshitting this.

"We're almost there…remember these guys?" Roy gestured at the unconscious demons that surrounded their path. "And why are they all the generic kind? All red skinned and no variety? At least when Velvet sent that hit out on me, I assumed she had the same mindset for her…do I want to call this place her 'lair'?"

"That's what I call it," insisted Husk.

"Yeah that works. Anyway, I thought her lair would have like some of those Hell Hounds or maybe some of those flame demons." Roy then stopped at the next door. "God I miss Christopher."

"Who?"

Roy said nothing else as he opened the door and found the same room that Valentino was in not long ago. Only this time both he and Husk would not have to amuse the Overlord as they made their way to the final door. "That bag isn't heavy right? I am just making assumptions since it's a large bag…" Roy glanced behind him.

"Eh if it wasn't for me drinking some of this stuff, I would have easily forgotten about it…" As he said this, he tossed another bottle behind him.

"Look Husk I mind my own business and all but you sure you don't want to wait until after we leave? I mean you can't still be sober by this point…"

Husk however insisted as he said, "Not like I am driving. Besides walking across a chain-bridge really wakes one up so I should be good."

"For the record Husk, if you fall over I am not saving your booze…"

"Fair enough."

Both Roy and Husk eventually found themselves at their destination where a rush of night air greeted them. Just ahead was the exposed opening of the window that Husk provided beforehand. As they approached it, a thought came to Roy.

"Whatever happened to the others?" Roy asked, not even spotting them across the chain-bridge. "You don't think they still haven't made their way back from getting food do you?"

"Did you check your phone? I never got so much of a text."

Taking his advice, Roy glanced at his phone. "No doesn't look like-"

"Hey you got the rug!"

On their left, Roy and Husk turned to see Cherri, Niffty, and Angel emerging from the doorway where they greeted the conquering heroes. "Where did you guys go?"

"That way- I think that we should have left a message/guide to which direction to take. At least you guys took the bridge." Roy glanced at the chain-bridge. "Let's get out of here…"

With that the five of them began to step on the chains bit by bit, testing the weight tolerance before they were content enough to make their way across. Within no time, they were almost at the car.

"Hey Roy how long are these chains good for? You had these here for a while right?"

"Pretty much; I wanna say that unless I make them go away on purpose…" Everyone stopped as the bridge rocked just a bit before continuing. "…we have a few hours-"

"ROY!"

Everyone stopped moving and began to look behind, with Roy being the last after closing his eyes and silently cursing. At the end from where they came, a very distinct- (and loud)- demon was slowly making their way towards the group.

"YOU KNOW IT'S REALLY RUDE TO LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE!" Her voice was easier to hear as she was making good progress.

"What the fuck- I thought you said that you restrained her!" shouted Husk.

"I did! I mean I-…Wait." Roy glanced at everyone for a moment before glancing back at the approaching Overlord. "Okay I think that I actually did the minimum and only partially held her just well enough for me to get out… Go go go go go go!"

Roy passed Husk who followed suit, as well as the others despite the bridge rocking more as a result. Thankfully they made it across where Roy then turned around to see Velvet half-way across the bridge. Naturally, he held up a hand and looked directly at Velvet who stopped.

"…"

"…"

Roy leaned slightly over the edge and shouted, "Turn back around Wendy!"

"…"

"I fucking mean it!"

"What are you doing?! Just make the chains disappear!" argued Husk.

Roy said nothing but did shake his head at Velvet who had not move. Hell, as far as he could tell, neither he or she blinked even once. At this rate, he did not know if she was going to do what he said…prompting him to do something slightly drastic.

"…!"

Velvet lost her balance for a split second, causing her to look down and realize that there were less chains. Not enough for the bridge to be less than ideal, but enough to make a point…especially as she saw a few more lines disappear before her very eyes. Finally, she looked back at him and relaxed her face, possibly sighing as well before she turned around. As luck would have it, Velvet took his warning to heart.

Roy lowered his hand and actually sighed in relief, closing his eyes as he felt sweat running down his face. "…"

"Wow I am impressed: I thought you were going to actually make her drop straight down!" Cherri leaned over the edge, watching the scene from Roy's perspective.

"Honestly…I think that involving myself in the murder of an Overlord will come back to bite me..." Roy rubbed one of his temples. "I-"

"!"

In an instance, Cherri suddenly pushed Roy away from her just in time for him to avoid the blade that nearly greeted him. "I don't think she appreciates your act of kindness!" she laughed.

"That bitch-!" Roy regained his balance as he then glared at Velvet's direction, spotting her and seeing that she was flipping him off while walking away this entire time. "YOU ALMOST HIT ME-"

"Dude let's just go now!" said Cherri, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Don't push your fucking luck!"

"I-…No you're right. Quit while I am ahead…" Roy relaxed as he turned around and faced everyone. "I am sorry…let's just go…"

*BAAAM!*

"URGH!"

Roy screamed as he fell against the car and painfully clutched his shoulder, feeling the flow of warm thick blood pressing against his palm. "WHO THE FUCK-"

"YoU sHoUiDiVe HuNtEd Me!"

Cursing, Roy forced his eyes to open and recognize his attacker. "WHY TERRY?!"

"I wAnT tO bE hUnTeD!" snarled the little demon. He was holding a gun while clearly holding an intense expression on his face. Sweat, and veins were quite apparent, as if he was desperate for whatever reason. That and those eyes of his could strike fear in any demon as he came closer.

"YOU FUCK- I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU!"

"SoMeBoDy HuNt Me…!"

"DA FUCK IS THIS ASSHOLE'S PROBLEM-UGH!"

"CoMe An-"

Thankfully, a familiar knife had ceased the demon's movement, causing him to fall back as a well-aimed throw impacted his forehead. All eyes shifted to the thrower who then turned her attention onto Roy. Clearly Niffty was the hero today making proper usage of Velvet's thrown weapon.

"Are you okay?" asked Niffty, now examining the bullet hole.

"NO I am NOT okay! Fuck this is what it's like getting shot-?! UGHHHH!" The pain was unbearable as tears were beginning to leave his eyes, making a clear statement that he never experienced such pain. "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK-!"

"Easy-" Angel had not expected this at all and seeing Roy like this was not exactly appealing. "What was that asshole's problem?" Looking at the now dead demon, he had no idea what led to this. "He wanted to be 'hunted' or some shit like that? What…?"

"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW- OW!" Cursing, Niffty was tending to his injury and knew to trust her no matter how much it hurt. "WAS IT SOME KIND OF REFERENCE OR SOMETHING? I HAVEN'T SEEN THE NEW SEASON OF ANYTHING BACK ON EARTH SINCE I GOT HERE!"

"I almost got it!"

"OW…OW….ow…fuck….ahhh…" Trying his best to handle the pain, he shut his eyes and breathed as calmly as possible. Thankfully, he felt the foreign object slip out of his shoulder and causing some form of improvement. With a clearer mindset, he then thought about an actual reason for why "Terry" attacked him: the hit from yesterday. He may have handled three of them yesterday and with the last one dealt with just now, but who was to say that he wouldn't see more trouble? As he began to stand up, he said, "Help me get this off…"

Soon, the rug was removed and placed in the trunk while he was then helped to the back seat where Cherri attempted to comfort him while Angel sat opposite of Roy. Niffty soon started the car where Husk joined her and they began to move yet again. Now feeling better, his thoughts began to reflect on what happened during his encounters tonight. Especially that first interaction he had with Velvet.

"Not again…not again…" He closed his eyes as that situation he found himself in triggered some real bad memories. Particularly, a terrible experience from when heh was alive. "Not again…not again…" His whispers were as close to silent as possible.

Angel Dust meanwhile looked out the window and stroked his neck, not once expecting to run into Valentino and especially not expecting him to now demand Roy's attendance. It was bound to happen eventually, but by then, Angel had failed to think of a way out of this…
