Preface: Miko is gonna be a bit more subtle and subdued in this version. Hopefully this works out. It may turn out what Jacob saw on tv wasn't fully the truth.
Adjusting herself Arcee didn't look happy, just worried. She liked Jacob but his crypticness got on her nerves. If he let everything out then it was all in the air...and could easily be leaked out one way or another. The air in the base was tense. With Jacob now trying to explain to the higher ups it left their hands tied. Raf had been told it wasn't his fault and he didn't feel any better for it. Adjusting herself she moved over to cliffjumper.
"Bad feeling?" He asked seeing the look in her optics.
"Of course I do. If anything happens to him I won't hear the end of it" Arcee responded as she rubbed her left arm.
She always had a protectiveness towards others. She volunteered explicitly because of what he had done for Cliff. Saving her from a lot of grief and pain and changing the timeline which was something he really wished to avoid as much as possible, he feared the future.
"I know how that feels. Don't worry I'm sure it'll be fine the kid is good on his feet" Cliff reassured her placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
She weakly smiled and nodded. A moment past and it began to clear from her mind. As she became calm the alarms began to blast once again. This one was different, it was Fowler's distress signal. Arcee suddenly felt cold as Cliff found the irony in it all. Bulkhead was already at the computer but failed to pin point Fowler's location. Raf who had his computer out was already at work tracing Fowler.
"Nota" Bulkhead said as he snapped his large fingers.
Arcee rushed over with panic in her optics as she saw the screen display a negative. She cursed inwardly as she looked to Bulkhead. Holding his arms up defensively he looked her dead in the optics.
"You know I'm no good with computers but let's not lose our heads here" Bulkhead keeping his calm said.
"Your right" Arcee admitted with a low tone.
Miko who climbed up into the the human area looked at the computer.
"Looks like Megatron's gonna have guests for dinner" Miko said in an attempt to lower the tension.
Everyone was looking her as if she was nuts instead. She lowered her head and looked to Raf whose fingers danced across the keyboard at near blinding speeds.
"What are ya doing" Jack asked taking The words from mikos mouth.
Raf did stop but responded bluntly.
"Hacking the government database to find Fowler's tracking chip" His town was near icy cold as he sought redemption.
{Good idea} Bumblebee beeped as he stood close to the ground bridge controls when needed.
Raf smiled only a little.
"It's gonna take a few minutes... 10 maybe 20 so hold on your buts" Raf warned as he kept working.
Flower could see the obvious fear on Jacob. Also the familiarity he held within his eyes. Being held by Soundwave the two gave up on struggling once they saw him. His tall imposing figure was nothing to scoff about, he had many surprises for those unfortunate to challenge him. Entering the nemesis's bridge Fowler couldn't help but feel small. Jacob on the other hand scanned to both sides of the space and saw crew going about their day. Lucky this hunk of metal was on the ground today instead sky/space high.
"I'm hearing the imperial March or am I finally losing it?" Jacob muttered softly.
"I dunno. If we get outta this give me a copy" Fowler softly whispered earning a slight bit a hope form Jacob.
Soundwave stopped just behind starscream who turned to face them. He smirked with satisfaction as he looked to soundwave.
"Perfect work Soundwave, megatron will be very pleased" He paused and then looked back down to the humans in the spy masters hands. The smallest one caught his optics the most. "Agent Fowler and boy. Welcome, I am starscream..."
"Aka Megatrons bitch!" Jacob spat as he gritted both teeth together. "And you masters out today making your egotistical ass in charge. Oh my I can see it now" Jacob went on with a shit eating grin. "Hopefully he'll offline you very soon and save the bots a lot of trouble" He added only to be squeezed by soundwave only slightly making him shut up.
Starscream looking angered glared at the human boy than back to Fowler.
"Agent I highly suggest you give up the Autobot base and I'll let the boy walk free" Starscream offered coldly.
Fowler put on a confused expression and Jacob snickered.
"Auto-bot?, like one of those auto car washes?" Fowler said playing dumb.
Starscream who didn't have the patience immediately responded with the worst thing both men could hear.
"Take agent Fowler to the brig and make the boy comfortable" He said putting extra emphasis on the last word.
Jacobs face went pale as so did Fowler's. both looked at each other as Fowler began to protest.
"He knows nothing screamer..." was I could get up for Starscream cut him off.
"I don't believe you human. You are a liar and a ally to the autobot's. Take them away!" He said commandingly.
His voice echoed through the bridge as Soundwave handed Fowler to a vheicon drone. Jacob was suddenly held up and Jacob couldn't help but smirk.
"Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior" He Mockingly mimicked his voice making him suddenly jolt in surprise.
Holding the human close he Quickly formed a synthesis of Jacobs own voice.
"How do you know what I sound like?" It asked robotically.
Jacob with a grin only shrugged.
"You seem like the type" he said bullshitting of course.
Soundwave didn't say anymore, he Quickly turned and began waking towards the interrogation chamber with Jacob in hand.
The signal pinged somewhere in the desert 200 miles from Las Vegas. Raf cheered and began reading off the coordinates. Miko was on the edge of her seat as she sat rather quietly. Surprising for her. Something in Jack's head kept telling him something was drastically wrong. Miko Who is usually energy felt was very reserved in this moment...he stuck close by and waited. Arcee was revvin to go, she was ready to take on the whole con armada. Bumblebee was double on that. Cliff was more cautious but still ready to kick some aft. Bulkhead was just behind them all the way.
"You 3 stay here. Raf you can bridge us out when we're done" Cliff said and quickly give the kid a crash course on it.
"Got it. Good luck" He responded giving the thumbs up.
Miko looked to Raf and then to Jack.
"What if their hurt. You guys know squat on how to treat a human!" Miko said warning them.
They all paused and looked at one another in realisation of this fact. Scrap hadn't thought of that. Bulkhead thought as Miko pulled out a card with her name on it. It said she was certified in first-aid. It was hesitation amongst the group but they came in just as quickly. Transforming bulkhead opened his door.
"Get in" He said.
The whole world was like a kaleidoscope of brilliant flashes and painful screams. Everything felt as if it was on fire as he jolted and shuddered in immense pain. Starscream was enjoying every second of it like the sick fuck he was. He could see the smug look of pleaser on his face. Jacob felt the prod being pulled away and he gasped deeply in relief. Every inch of him felt as if it went through a deep fryer. Gasping hard and long his blurred vision cleared and he saw everything more clearly now. Screamer was holding the prod in a relaxed position with its shaft Leaning against his shoulder as he held it there.
"That's 7, I'm rather impressed" Starscream said his tone holding no remorse.
Jacob lowered his head in weakness. It was chore to just keep awake. Coughing violently he heard Starscream lean in.
"Just let it out already. Haven't you seen that they've abandoned you?" His voice faked sympathy and Jacob only coughed harder.
"I hope you die" Jacob coughed in anger.
Starscream only laughed as he looked at the human with a sense of superiority. Sweating and bleeding all over Jacob looked up at the seeker with an icy stare.
"I'm not afraid of you. You glorified flying turkey" Jacob weekly said as he kept firm.
Starscream in anger struckthe boy with the prod in the legs. A quick shock shock to him as a bone snapping rang out.
Miko saw the crumped and bent antenna dish Bulkhead used to take a few cons out. She couldn't help but make a joke.
"No satellite TV tonight" She joked as she hung off the shoulder of Cliffjumper who snickered at the joke.
The 4 bots and human stepped inside the nemesis and past the airlock. Miko looked around up and down each alien looking corridor. Awesome. She mused in awe. She adjusted herself as Cliff took the middle as they moved. Hang on Jacob just hang on kid. Cliff pleaded.
His breathing had slowed drastically. He was Barely able to keep his eyes open as he gasped weakly. I'mi dying?. He thought as his mind was drifting aimlessly from exhaustion. Starscream walked around him looking at him from different angles. Blood stained his clothes as he eyed the child. Even after 5 extras shocks he still denied him the information. Impressive for something so small. Moving to the front of this human he glared down at him with a cold stare. The creature didn't look up as it looked far to weak thanks to what he did. A smirk formed on starscreams face. Then a sickening thought came to mind.
"I'm not done with you yet boy. I'm gonna make you suffer more than you can possibly imagine. I will bring it every autobot here one after the other and snuff out their sparks with my own hands" Star scream venomously said.
The boy flinched but nothing more than that. Starscream frowned and tried a more risky approach.
"I may have my way with Arcee if she means anything to you" He said tauntingly and suddenly the boys head wretched upwards and his eyes locked with his.
Starscream could see the fury in his eyes as his face twisted into a face he had only seen Megatron make. If he were a mech he would have probably broken the chains and beat Starscream death.
"You as much scratch her paint and I'll make sure your never found again" Jacob said with a coldness unlike anything he'd ever heard.
Slightly reeling back he could see the pain welling up on the boys face. Suddenly the boy fell limp and all consciousness. Starscream frowned as he sighed deeply. Suddenly a pounding came from the opposite end of the door. Looking he growled.
"Can you please shut that noise!" He shouted in anger.
No response came. Then the door opened and their stood a lone trooper. Disgruntled he tossed the prod onto nearby table.
"What is it?" Starscream inquired.
Suddenly the drone dropped with a smoking hole in its back. Starscream blindly transformed his arm into a blaster and aimed it at the motionless human.
Cliff entered blaster at the ready. Bumblebee just behind him took the right side. Both bots locked their weapons on Screamer as he held his to Jacobs chest. Classic stand-off in the making. Bulkhead would have been there if Arcee hadn't given him explicit orders to get Fowler out first. Starscream felt a tap ontop of his head and he sharply looked up to see Arcee.
"No ya don't" She said focusing on screamer.
Starscream smugly smirked and kept his blaster on Jacob.
"Oh I might just" He teased.
The room fell dead quiet as they all remained dead still. Not a noise at all except for The hum of the lights. Arcee could feel her spark pounding as nobody dared to fire. The bots didn't want to hit Jacob whist Starscream didn't want to be hit. Stirring back to consciousness Jacob opened his eyes weakly. She could feel the heat just less than an inch away from the chest. His vision cleared and he saw the blaster pointed right at his heart. Looking up he saw Cliff and Bumblebee and then looked up higher to see Arcee. Thank you primus. He though with relief. One thing was suddenly clear, someone needed to get Starscreams attention. His eyes drifted too the con. He wasn't gonna like this.
"Hey screamer care to repeat what you said" Jacob said obnoxiously to get his attention.
The seeker suddenly looked down at him and both bumblebee and Cliffjumper opened fire on starscream. The con shrieked as he dodged laser fire and shifted into his jet form and blasted through the door and down the hallway like a mad man. Jacob weakly smiled as he saw Arcee drop down infront of him. And he hadn't been more happier to see anyone in his life. Cliff and Bee looked in shock as they saw bloody body of Jacob.
"By the allspark Jacob!" Arcee nearly shouted as she began freeing him of the chains.
Holding him in her arms she couldn't feel more worse than letting this happen to him.
{Jeez looks like you had a fight with a sharktacon} Bee beeped which he didn't understand.
"Agreed" Cliff added seeing the weakness on Jacobs face.
He coughed violently as Arcee held him close.
"I didn't tell him anything. I can't believe I fucking forgot" he half chuckled.
Arcee held him closer as she felt him shaking from the energon now in his system.
"I've never been in more beautiful hands" Jacob mused aloud unintentionally. Arcee didn't know how to react to that so she didn't.
She rested him against her and was lost in the moment. Bee transformed and opened his passenger door. Gently resting him inside Arcee saw him jolt and shake even more uncontrollably. Pain, she could see it so effortlessly. He was holding back from screaming whist his body felt as if it was on fire. A strong willed human and she knew it. Arcee closed the door and transformed.
"Let's go home" Arcee said her voice sounding less on edge.
The 3 raced down the halls and stopped. Entering a room Cliffjumper saw Miko taking pictures of screens. What is she doing?. He thought as he knocked getting her attention. Miko looked and saw the red soldier. She grabbed the firstaid kit and folded her phone away.
"Thank godI'm happy to see you" Miko said as she approached.
"Whatwe're doing?" Cliff asked as she drew closer.
Miko looked up at him and was surprisingly calm.
"Getting as much info I can. I'm grabbing them by the ball!" Miko responded as she movedout of the room and climbed into the driver side.
She gasped and saw Jacob, covered in his own blood and shaking as if he were having an epileptic seizure. My god. Miko thought in horror as her eyes went wide. In an instant she open the bag and went to work as Bumblebee drove in silence.
Bulkhead had never seen Fowler looking so guiltily. In his time back at base He had set up the gunny in a rush. Jack helped him and offered his mother to help look over Jacob for safety. Optimus and Ratchet who had arrived well before Bulkhead in rough condition learned it all from Raf. Ratchet had a sling holding his left arm and patching Optimus up. The both of them looked like they had fought entire army. Ratchet seeing Raf operate the ground bridge made the old mech smile to see such a sight. Raf did some Quick calculations in his head and triggered it open. In drove the others. Arcee and Cliff transformed with gloomy expressions on their faces as bee opened his doors. Miko moved around to the passenger side and was met by Fowler.
"Watch the left leg" Miko quickly said as she helped Jacob up from the left as Fowler did the right.
Optimus looked in shock. His mouth hung open as he saw the bloody form of Jacob which had been hastily bandaged by Miko. All Jack could see was the blood. His eyes transfixed on it like metal to a power magnet. He couldn't stomach it, if this happened to Jacob then god knows what will happen to them all.
Jacob whimpered in agony as he was moved up onto the gunny. Every movement was hell as Fowler moved over to Optimus and relayed Jacks idea and Optimus nodded fully. Optimus looked around to see Jack was gone, and a trail of bloody foot prints led deeper into the base. Cliff was already moving to intercept his charge. Looking at agent Fowler he said.
"Let's get bring her in" Optimus sounding troubled said.
