Song of an Egyptian Goddess
Chapter 3- The Battle Between Goddesses
Thursday, September 2nd, 1993
It has been thirteen days since Alala spied on her old creation, thirteen days since Femi had redeemed her lost honor by hypnotizing a mortal in need of help, and thirteen days since the gods declared war on the realm watched over by Empress Alala.
All this war brought was more destruction to her land, not that the evil empress could have cared; as far as she was concerned, if her citizens were getting hurt that was their problem. Alala wasn't even fighting, but simply hiding in her temple watching the battle unfold with a cocky grin. Little did she know that all the gods that held higher power were in this battle, even if only three of them were actively participating.
Zeus, Athena and Poseidon. None of them were at all pleased with the state of her realm, and had been quick to join the war against her; she had her doubts that all of them even knew why she was so vulnerable all of a sudden.
Alala laughed watching the opposing forces be trampled by her own enslaved warriors, a position that wasn't at all used in the other realms, and therefore put the goddess in an even more precarious position. She had just crossed her arms with a victorious smirk on her face when suddenly the sky was practically turned into an elaborate lightning display, causing her smirk to shift into a look of horror. Zeus, the god that presided above all of them, had arrived.
His teeth were clenched hard enough that a regular mortal's would possibly have cracked from the pressure as he stared up at the palace of where their target presided. "EMPRESS ALALA YOU HAVE GONE TO FAR." Zeus shouted as he stomped into Alala's realm. "LOOK AT THE STATE OF YOUR LAND? YOU CALL THIS KEEPING IT PROSPEROUS AND BEAUTIFUL?" he roared, gesturing to the charred land around him as the fighting continued on without pause.
"For the love of almighty… why is Zeus here?" Alala asked no one in particular, a chill suddenly running up her spine at the sight of him.
'With that kind of power against me, what chance do I have?'
As soon as the thought had crossed her mind, the woman frantically cried out in terror before she turned and ran for the safety of the barricaded indoor courtyard.
"Your majesty, you're fleeing the battle?" cried one of her spear men that she nearly collided with when turning one of the corners.
She ignored him and continued to the inner courtyard where she could prepare for the upcoming battle in the pool of strength. The only downside is that she had to strip herself of all of her clothing or else they would slowly dissolve over time. Alala hated that feature of the training pool but accepted it as a necessary precaution right about now.
Thunder roared through the realm as lightning streaked across the sky, dark storm clouds blocking out the sun, creating an almost nighttime setting in the corridors, the torches not lighting up thanks to the magic not registering the darkness outside.
Just up ahead were the massive oak doors with golden trims along the sides of the set and guards were running towards her looking worried. "What's going on? Has the fortress been breached?" one of the senior guards asked, gripping his sword tighter in anticipation of intruders nearing their position.
Alala shook her head. "No, I just wanted to train within the safety of this shielded room… so don't let anyone inside." she warned the squad, pointedly shoving her finger against each of their chests to make a point.
"Of course, ma'am." nodded the one who she knew was the squad leader, and the little of what was left of the squad took up defensive positions outside the doors.
Thunder shook the fortress as the front gates were blown inward by the might of the mighty Zeus and the armies from the other godly realms.
Unbeknownst to the armies, a lone figure stood up on one of the battlements, watching as the battle unfolded before him. Unconcerned about the number of people slain in the battle, the observer began to parkour to each ledge and tower to find where the target of this massive war was being kept.
'I already exposed her plans in the first place,' the figure mused to himself, pausing as a rock from a long-range catapult shattered a nearby window. 'Now the time has come for her final reckoning…'
Back with the goddess, Alala was just getting ready to train, having just taken off her leg armor, which required a lot of effort, before the sudden sound of a blaring alarm halted her progress.
But it wasn't just any alarm, no, it was the alarm that told her someone was in her forbidden private library. But how? Only her stone guards were allowed in unless she brought someone in herself, so who could it be?"
Grumbling at the extra work, Alala strapped on her leg armor again and summoned a portal with some complicated hand movement no one else could master and frowned at the glass-like portal before walking towards it and stepping through it to feel like everything around her had a static feeling to it.
"Curse these tight portal tubes," growled the goddess who was very impatient with a lot of godly magic. Why anyone would deliberately design something that most people had to crouch to use she would never understand...
When she reached a spot where she could no longer get through without a helmet, for some reason it wouldn't fit through no matter what, Alala gripped it and threw it back through the other end of the portal in anger, revealing her long light strawberry colored hair as it fell down to her shoulders.
As she neared the library that hasn't been seen by her in who knows how long, noises of a fight reached her ears, her stone guardians screaming and yelling to attack whoever was in there.
As she exited the portal, her eyes grew wide, and she clenched her fists. "YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE…?"
Thursday, September 2nd, 1993
When the Weasley kids returned to Hogwarts for the 1993-1994 school year, neither of them had spoken about Ginny's disappearance. Only the teachers knew, and most, barring the obvious exception of Snape, declared that when they had enough time that they would search for the missing child.
However, Snape still searched for her, seeing too much of Lily Evans in her and hoped she would be safe and unharmed. He didn't know why he wanted to help her other than the part about her being like his old crush. Plus, if he found her, maybe some would recognize that he wasn't just a shallow old man.
However, students were starting to see that Ginny wasn't there, especially some of whom were friends with her, including Harry.
One morning in the corridor, Harry and Hermione confronted Fred, George, Percy and Ron to explicitly ask where she was, if she had decided to be homeschooled or had been moved to a different school. The Weasley brothers still looked hesitant to tell until Percy, being the oldest Weasley still in school, thought it best that some people should know.
"Ginerva went missing while on our stay in Egypt." Percy began, watching the reactions of their family friends at that shock. "We searched for days and couldn't find her."
He actually sounded a little depressed, which is something Harry wasn't used to seeing from Percy Weasley at all. "Yeah… our sister just vanished…" Fred said, eyes closed mostly because of his exhaustion at not being able to sleep the previous night, and because of his nightmares of Ginny being held captive by someone with the threat of death on her.
"Poof. Gone." George finished for Fred in a lame attempt at one of their jokes, though neither of them laughed. Harry and Hermione shared a look and looked down at the floor sadly. Hermione had been planning to try and become closer with Ginny this year, and Harry... well, Harry just wanted to see that she was OK, but now something else was boiling up from inside him. He might have been uncomfortable at Ginny's awkward signs of affection towards him last year, but she'd inspired a level of interest in him even Harry had just been starting to acknowledge properly, and now...
"I'm sorry guys… I would have at least tried to help if I had known." Hermione spoke up from the silence as they passed by a group of Hufflepuffs, who, upon hearing Hermione say that and that they were walking with the Weasley's, raced to catch up.
It was Cedric Diggory, Hannah Abbott and Susan Bones. After asking about what happened, they soon found out about Ginny, and offered the other Weasleys their support. Harry turned to Susan when she laid a hand on his shoulder, as though silently telling him that she knew of his tentative interest in the missing Weasley girl and would help him cope with probably never seeing her again.
Hermione, though happening to see it a few minutes later, didn't miss the blush on Harry's cheeks when he and Susan were chatting about their favorite subjects.
She somehow knew, after all of this fuss about Ginny being missing was over, that maybe they would have a new friend in the group in the form of another redheaded girl. The astute muggle-born figured that Susan Bones would bring a positive change to Harry's life, which was something that he desperately needed based on everything she'd heard about his life outside Hogwarts…
Draco Malfoy met them on the last flight of stairs and laughed at the Weasley's. "So where is your precious little sister Weasley's? Is she too scared to come to school after what my father gave to her last year?" he scoffed. "Pathetic."
Each Weasley brother, minus Percy who just glared, unpocketed their wands and shot a series of quick curses at the pompous fool who yelped in surprise.
Susan, Harry, Hermione and the others laughed at him as he whined about his hurt bottom.
"My father will hear about this."
That made them laugh even more and Draco turned to see Snape watching them with a raised eyebrow causing Draco to smirk until he snarled at Malfoy. "20 points… from Slytherin Mr. Malfoy for taunting someone who is potentially hurt or dead."
Malfoy's eyes widened in horror at the declaration before he scowled at Potter and his group before stomping into the Great Hall.
The group looked at their Potions professor, who raised an eyebrow at them before saying with his tone emotionless. "Carry on." and spun on the spot, his robes waving behind him as he disappeared through the doors to the Great Hall.
Susan looked at Harry and lightly patted his cheek with a teasing smile. "He didn't punish you for being in his eyesight this time haha." Harry grabbed her hand and pulled it to her side, both of them blushing as Harry instantly pulled away.
Fred and George shared a look and smirked and nodded, Percy raised an eyebrow, Ron looked confused while Hermione had a knowing smirk on her face. Cedric and Hannah were just smiling at the action.
"Hello all." Nearly Headless Nick called out to them as he floated into the Great Hall. "Wonderful morning we're having."
"Hello, Nick." Hermione waved.
Professor Lupin happened to be standing nearby, a look of glee passed by his features before he just smiled, struck by the thought that Harry and Susan looked a bit like James and Lily. The scarred professor hoped nothing bad would happen to their only son and vowed to do whatever it took to protect the young and last Potter.
As the group of students entered the Great Hall, closely followed by Lupin, no one saw a pair of yellow eyes staring at them all from an open supply closet, the whimper it let out not reaching anyone's ears, while the sad yellow eyes fixated on Harry and Lupin...

"Uck… Ginny go take a bath please…" Femi coughed, as her nose caught the scent of her servant as the girl came back into their bedroom after exercising in the small gym that Femi constructed over the years, the elves having stocked it with muggle weight equipment.
Ginny was wearing a sports top and jeans that the elves had gone and snatched from a local market for her to use when exercising, and it fit her developing curves rather well according to the dark skinned woman's eye. Ginny rolled her eyes even as she smiled at the command and quickly had her bath drawn by the elves.
"What are you watching me for?" Ginny asked her mistress as she was just pulling off her sports top. The tight clothing had been a surprise at first, but Ginny liked the way it fit snugly against her growing curves, and if she happened to notice that her Mistress's gaze moved to her rear when she was walking in these jeans… was it a crime to want to give such a remarkable woman something nice to look at?
"Just making sure you got in the bath unlike last time," Femi replied, giggling at the memory even as her tone remained demanding.
"Last time it was only a suggestion I take a bath," Ginny retorted, still wearing her basic sports bra under the top. She had learned over the last few weeks that Femi doesn't mind her talking back as long as she still obeyed the original order, or if it was to tease and correct her Mistress about something. "You never ordered me to do it, actually."
Femi raised an eyebrow at her young servant before turning to leave the room, but not before adding. "Don't be too long or your dinner will get cold sweetie."
"Yes, Mistress." Ginny sighed happily as she tossed her jeans and underwear aside and stepped into the warm water with a big smile on her face, her mind filled with thoughts of the woman she couldn't stop thinking about, always willing to obey the figure she was certain was simply the most thoughtful and kind person in the world.
Femi returned to their bedroom and stopped in her tracks as she noticed her father's spear on the wall glowing a little from the torchlight near the door. Quickly taking it off the mantlepiece, the former mortal-turned goddess held it against her breast before starting to whirl around the room with it, doing a range of tricks and flips with stabbing motions that looked as if she was trying to stab someone.
In her mind's eye she imagined the goddess that ruined a part of her life standing in front of her, down and wounded like she was many centuries ago, and if it hadn't been for her quick attack maybe Alala would be dead now.
She trained for about ten minutes when Ginny returned and the two of them left for the dining room to eat…
A light bang reached Femi's ears, just hers, and she knew what it was. Tonight, Femi would break into Alala's library via the portal she has been trying to break into for quite a long time...
Thursday, September 2nd, 1993
Shortly after dinner concluded, Femi didn't waste any time and quickly sent Ginny into a hypnotic sleep, instructing the elves to keep watch over her in case anything happened, and left for the room with her route into the damn library.
Gregga, after seeing that Ginny didn't have on the robes that Femi had created for her, snapped his fingers to replace her training clothes with her Egyptian style robes once more.
He smiled and leaped off the bed to go to sleep with his family as well down in the bedroom connected to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Femi reached the room that she has been coming into an increasing amount of times ever since Ginny had joined her down here. Every day since the redhead's arrival, Femi's attempts to break the barrier to reach the library of the evil empress had become increasingly more successful. There were now at least 30 cracks in the blue window that oversaw the black void; it would just take a little more, and she would be in there, grabbing whatever it was she sought for, while also battling whatever defenses Alala had conjured up to protect that expansive void.
Thoughts of Ginny entered her mind, alone and defenseless in their bed waiting for anything to happen. Once she had made up her mind to redouble her efforts at breaching the barrier, Femi had erected various magical defenses around the room. If Alala, for whatever reason, decided to try and infiltrate her long forgotten temple in search of something to ruin Femi's life while she was busy here, those defenses should keep Ginny safe long enough for Femi to get back and protect her.
As the dark-skinned woman prepared to strike the nearly shattered window with her father's spear, which she had renamed "Empress killer," thoughts of what else she may discover within this void besides the prize she needed to possess entered her mind and now that thought pushed Femi to push her spear forward into the barrier.
At first, her eyes closed in disappointment believing that she didn't do anything, until the ear screeching sound of cracking glass reached her ears, and she opened her beautiful eyes to see that the barrier was breaking from the pressure of not being able to hold itself anymore and shattered.
In amazement, Femi stood there staring aimlessly through the portal window, then down to her spear, and smirked. "Time to be a thief… I'll show that empress what I'm made of… eventually." Femi smiled in satisfaction as she climbed through the shattered entrance to the library, one of the many entrances.
A golden glow surrounded her body slowing her down before it broke, meaning the room was trying to assess if she was a goddess or not to send her back out, but must have concluded its assessment after finding out she was a goddess.
"Now… what do we have here?" Femi asked herself as she neared the first bookshelf closest to her. In the middle was an archway with a golden glow around it with another row of bookshelves off its other side. Putting her finger to her chin, Femi pondered whether there may be a scroll she may wish to obtain in this unguarded entrance room or not.
Deciding that a quick assessment would cost her nothing, she spent a few minutes looking through the stacks of ancient books and scrolls, nothing catching her curious eye until finally one in an old dusty corner of the small section stood out with a faded blue glow. If Femi had known better she wouldn't want to touch something that looked like it could be thousands of years old, but she did anyway, and the feeling it created sent a shiver up her spine at the contact.
The scroll detached itself from the binding keeping it rolled up and presented itself to its possessor.
At first, it looked to be nothing special, just a tattered old piece of paper, to say nothing of being a tad dusty and grimy, until Femi blew on it, revealing long scriptures and instructions on how to perform a ritual.
Inspecting it further, Femi gasped happily and jumped around in joy as she noticed the title of this ancient scroll.
"How to turn a mortal into a goddess" was what was written on the top of the long instruction manual with at least ten points on how to turn a mortal into a goddess. However, Femi's mood shifted from joy to rage when she noticed the warning at the bottom of the page, which left her feeling like her blood was boiling in her veins as her aura burst to life around her.
"Parental Sacrifice Needed"
That was written in someone's blood, though faded, the Egyptian girl could still read it and above it also was written "Forbidden. Those who use it shall be executed..."
A wickedly nasty smile spread across Femi's face as she realized that Alala must have written this in, only for someone who didn't know to come across it and counteract it by the threat of execution. This opened up the possibility of her mortal enemy being killed for doing this to her parents many years ago. She just needed to get in touch with another god to expose her...
After rolling it back up and casting a quick cleaning spell on the rolled up scroll, Femi levitated it back into the room she had just come from and spun on her heel to move through the golden archway when suddenly she was knocked backwards into the ankle high water.
"You are not permitted past this archway. Turn back now, banished one." growled a voice from the archway, a stone guardian was blocking her path along with about sixteen others behind it.
"What the fuck?" Femi asked in confusion as she stood up, taking off her now soaked robes, revealing her curvy body in her golden trimmed and beaded bra and skirt. Now ready for combat, Femi took out her spear and took up a combat stance, ready to fight her way in there to get what she wanted.
"You have the scroll to make your chosen one an immortal, banished one." spoke the same guardian who had denied her entrance. "Turn back now if you wish to keep your head attached to your shoulders."
"Threatening me now are you?" asked the dark-skinned female, narrowing her eyes as she mentally assessed his likely weak points.
"Turn. Back. Now." it spoke again, taking its stone sword from its back and readying itself.
"As if." Femi whispered aggressively. She pointed the tip of her spear towards the stone guardian where a person's heart would be and threw it as hard and as fast as she could. The attack was so powerful that the spear cut right through the guardian, while all Femi had to do was watch as it subsequently crumbled to the ground.
Her eyes widened in shock, not thinking that was one of their weak spots, but then grinned at the rest of them as she summoned her spear back to her hand. The other guardians all began to charge the intruder.
"Get the interloper…" one of them called out to the rest as it produced a stone mace from its back weapon rack.
"She mustn't find the scroll." another screamed as it brought its curved sword down onto Femi, but it was blocked swiftly by the female before the stone sword was parried away. That initial attack thwarted, Femi performed a tricky maneuver she'd learned over the years to trip her opponent up with the spear's other end, and watched in satisfaction as her foe collapsed to the ground, scattering itself to pieces across the floor.
She smirked as she spun around, recalling a fighting pose her dad had taught her, before jumping into the air and landing on one of them, wrapping her legs around its head. She subsequently twisted her body to slide along its neck until she was in front of its face and brought her spear down upon it, stabbing the stone beast right through the center of its head.
That caused it to crumble and Femi fell to her knees and looked up through the fringe of her wet hair and exhaled as she noticed the rest of them coming for her. She stood up and readied her spear to throw at the nearest one, only to be surprised when one of them spoke.
"Give up now banished one, and we will let you live." said the one who looked to be the leader of the now remaining stone guardians, causing Femi to go wide-eyed in shock for a moment.
"And I should believe that?" she countered after a moment's contemplation of the offer, glaring at the small stone army in front of her. She might not know much about godly etiquette, but she had a feeling she wouldn't be allowed to just walk away alive after breaking into this library in the first place.
She glimpsed a portal opening up out of the corner of her eye as she made her next move, but she ignored it in favor of throwing the spear through the head of another guardian. Another opponent vanquished, she called the weapon back to her and crouched on one knee, the other stretched to the side with one hand face down in the water.
"Let's do this…" she cut herself off when noticing all the guardians trembling and looking behind her at the portal opening up.
Femi's eyes widened in shock and anger as she heard the voice of the woman she has been wanting to kill for centuries.
"YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE…?"
Femi smirked as she slowly stood up, her back to the obviously now angered empress, who to Femi, looked to be quite horrified to see her, and also the fact that she kept looking back from where she came from making the younger woman think she wished to just go back home.
'Is she afraid of me or is something happening back at her evil lair?' amused, Femi laughed in her head at the very thought.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, something is going on back at my home," Alala sneered at her foe, though her tone held a hint of desperation and fear. "This isn't what I needed today, filth. I have enough problems on my hands as it is." Femi grinned at her before it fell to a sneer of her own as her enemy pointed back to the portal Femi had come through.
"Go home to your weakling chosen redhead and leave us be." Alala demanded, voice cracking at the end as a bolt of electricity bounced off the portal, a side effect of it being open for too long but with Zeus chucking those around back home she was a little jumpy.
"I'm not going back without…" Femi gestured towards the scroll floating above a pedestal that stood in a line of other important scrolls. "That."
Seeing what she was pointing at caused Alala to sweat and then growled in her direction as a sword was summoned into her awaiting hand. "You will not get that scroll. I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO BREAK YOUR IMPRISONMENT." Alala's eyes blazed with anger, for a moment Femi mistook that blazing look for the one that Ginny would use on her, though it wasn't ever out of anger. Mostly to either show how grateful she was, happy, or in a teasing mood. She has seen that look in Ginny's eyes on other occasions though but couldn't quite place why she would look at her in a flirtatious way. Femi didn't really register that it was a flirty type of blazing look.
Femi shrugged her shoulders, standing her ground however possible. "I'd hate to say it Alala but haven't I served my sentence?"
That question was met with an immediate response. "Absolutely not. You haven't learned from your selfish ways." As the evil woman said this she was stepping down the stairs towards the dark-skinned woman. "Just run on home if your precious little servant wishes to see you again. Or do I need to teach you a lesson on what happened last time?"
"Last time I was selfish." Femi challenged Alala's authority on being able to punish her more.
"What do you mean last time?" growled Alala, blood seeping from her palms as her nails dug into her skin. "Aren't you now too? Or are you just being blinded by the power of lust again?"
"If you've been paying any kind of attention to what's been happening in my tomb, you'd realize that I did nothing to truly lure Ginny in than offer her support after she fell in by chance," Femi countered, glaring bitterly at the goddess. "I give her the support and love she needed after a terrible event-"
"And you think that you hold the power to make the decision for her to be with you, huh? I bet you made this girl believe it was right to stay with you? If so, I'm afraid you'll have to be punished once more for your lack of instructions on how to use your powers Femi-"
"She will have my heart regardless of what she wishes from me in turn-"
"Do you expect me to believe that you consider a twelve-year-old girl your Chosen?" Alala countered with a raised eyebrow.
"...She will be," Femi countered, already resenting being forced to justify herself to this woman. "Her strength of personality and her beauty… they are more than anything I could have expected…"
"Beauty? At that age? If she is your chosen one… fight me for her fate. If you lose, I send her back to the surface with no memory of her time with you." When Femi looked like she was about to protest, Alala raised her hand. "Yes, I would send her back to her family, not just drop her in the middle of the Egyptian desert."
"Yeah, I know you are lying bitch." Femi rolled her eyes as if it were obvious.
Alala smirked as she faked a look of concern. "Such language young lady. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh, wait, she's dead."
It was the nonchalance of that statement that pushed Femi past her already-frayed sense of self-control.
"DAMN YOU." screamed the younger goddess rushing forward and bringing her sword down on the older one's head only to hit the stairs where the goddess used to be.
"Poor Femi… are you still telling yourself you did all this for revenge?" Alala asked telepathically. "I thought you would have let go of that petty quest long ago."
Suddenly Femi was grabbed around the neck and lifted off the ground, an intense pressure squeezing the air out of her lungs, turned to face her enemy. "I guess I was wrong. Did you love your family and friends that much to pursue a vengeance against me for centuries?"
With little effort, Alala threw her younger counterpart down the stairs, though it was harsh, watching her fall with a smirk made the evil temptress realize who was stronger. "If you don't leave I will kill you, and your little chosen one asleep in your temple… then again, just letting her go and wiping her mind will ruin your happiness easily enough."
"Wh-why are… y-you d-doing this?" Femi gasped for air as she tried to crawl for her discarded spear that laid 15 feet away from her.
Seeing that her enemy was making a useless attempt to grab her father's spear, Alala laughed as she summoned it to her hand.
"No…" Femi cried out breathlessly, watching as her father's prized spear landed in the hand of the cruel goddess, the golden glow turning to a reddish hue to signify its new possessor.
"You are quite easy to torment." she laughed at her defenseless foe. "And I thought you were powerful." her expression quickly turned from amusement to a dark sneer. "HOW PATHETICALLY WEAK YOU ARE, FEMI OF EGYPT; I SHOULD HAVE NEVER SAVED YOUR LIFE."
"S-stop…" Femi sobbed.
"Your mother and father were quite easy to dispatch. Your father tried to save your mother but couldn't stop my blade."
Femi looked up at her through her tears with a confused expression. "Blade?"
"What? You're telling me you didn't see a stab wound on your weakling of a father?" she asked sarcastically. "Then again, I suppose that such wounds would be hard to spot... on his charred. Lifeless. Body."
"STOP IT ALALA."
"What?" Alala chuckled as she stepped down a step. "Am I upsetting your poor self? Imagine your brother and sister seeing you like this?"
Femi squeezed her eyes shut at the thought of her siblings she never got to see again, all because of this warrior goddess who sweet talked her into becoming like her.
"Adio… Dalila..." Femi practically whispered her siblings' names, struck by the memories she hadn't allowed herself to think of for so long, particularly the close bond she'd had with her sister. "I'm sorry that I could never return to the both of you…"
Squeezing the spear of a dead father, Alala taunted her some more, spittle coming from her mouth as she shouted at her. "What would they think of their big sister, laying at the feet of a warrior goddess, begging for mercy for abusing the trust and free will of so many, CRYING HER EYES OUT WHEN ALL THEY KNEW YOU FOR WAS HOW STRONG, COMPASSIONATE AND HAPPY YOU WERE."
"Ho-How did you know anything about me before we met?" Femi asked her, blinking back her tears as she looked suspiciously at her foe.
Alala groaned in irritation, dropping her arms, and arching her back before standing straight again. "I was watching your every move, cry baby."
Femi growled, but her shock heightened with what her parent's killer said next.
"At that time I thought if you became like me then maybe we could be unstoppable. So I planted a little bit of poison in the plate of bread you took a piece from every day."
The younger goddesses eyes widened in horror and took in a deep gasp.
"Everyone who came to tend to you thought it was a sickness that just came out randomly. But no, I gave you that sickness deliberately in the hopes a man I possessed would catch the ears of your father that a goddess of the Greek culture could save you… I WANTED YOU TO BE LIKE ME, A COLD, HEARTLESS FIGHTER. A WARRIOR."
"You… possessed… you p-planned i-it all?" Femi asked quietly, only for an insane amount of pain to come to her leg as Alala stepped down on it. "AHH…"
"Yes." Alala grinned wickedly. "Your father was so desperate for any kind of cure, he went so far as to trust a traveler who he would have normally dismissed as insane."
"I need help to save my daughter…" yelled out a saddened man whose daughter was set to die soon as he searched high and low in the city of Giza for anyone who could help him.
Alala, watching the man, was hiding in a dark alley, and laughed to herself as she noticed that the man she had been waiting for to arrive had just walked into Giza.
Quickly vanishing from the alley, Alala flew through the air as a form of dust in the wind only to flow into the ears of the lonely traveler, who didn't even stand a chance to fight her off and she was soon under his control.
"Anyone please help me…" she heard from around a corner, smirking at the timing of the poor girl's father happening upon this possessed body now.
"Help…"
Recalling that the man she possessed had a limp in his step, Alala copied the movement from his mind and clambered over to the father in need of help.
"I can help you… I'm a Greek traveler. I couldn't help but overhear… that you are trying to save your dying daughter from an unknown… eh sickness? On the island of Crete there is a way to save your daughter…"
"Y-you tricked my dad…" Asked the young goddess aghast.
"Quite easily." she snickered. "He was quite desperate. He looked like he would believe any miracle. I never intended for your parents to live beyond your rebirth haha haha."
"You… BITCHAHAAAAAAAA…" Alala pushed down on her leg again as she was calling her that name. "Learn to watch your tongue." the dark haired older woman chastised her counterpart.
"I wish your siblings came along, so I could have killed them too…" Alala snickered, pushing down on Femi's leg again.
"Like I said… you're a bitch." growled the dark-skinned girl. "Why did you even make me a goddess anyway?"
"Why?" Alala asked loudly. "I'll tell you why, Femi." For good measure, she pressed down harder on Femi's leg, the pressure sending the younger girl in a pain filled spiral. "I hoped we could have been a team… you control the realm of men, while I control the gods. My dream was to have all of humanity truly serving a singular, living god."
Taking the girl's spear into her other hand, Alala continued. "The final step of my plan was you, of course, I had hoped you'd go mad with power and finally set out to use your powers on the kind of scale that would put at least most of the Earthlings under your command, and then I would do so back in the realm of the gods..."
"You're sick." Femi snapped. "Humanity doesn't deserve to be enslaved by one singular being…"
"YES THEY DO." Alala screamed in her face. "Imagine, millions bowing at your feet, doing whatever you wish 24/7, and that Ginny girl." Alala teased, jabbing her in the ribs with the bottom end of the spear. "Just imagine her as your slave, instead of servant, I know you would have loved that if you were what I wanted you to be."
"Don't bring Ginny into this…"
"Why? Because she's your chosen one?" Alala said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms as she nonchalantly inspected her nails. "When I kill you, and I will kill you. Ginny won't have enough time to assess her situation because I'll warp her mind to think she belongs to me."
Discreetly, a dagger appeared in Femi's hand, tears formed in her eyes as she imagined Ginny's life as a slave, her vibrancy and freedom brought to 'heel' by the need for control from this twisted goddess. Her song may have lured Ginny to her, but the girl was still free to choose to leave if she wished, and definitely didn't deserve to have her future life picked for her by someone this twisted.
Alala didn't notice the move and just laughed, hearing the sniffles. "By the gods, someone is in a crying mood today," she said mockingly. "Is this Ginny Weasley really worth all that effort needed to make your life a paradise?"
"She makes me the happiest I have ever been since you murdered my first reason to be happy..." Femi spoke softly, her parents briefly entering her mind, causing more tears to form in her eyes.
"Ah, of course, happiness through and through, but tell me…" whispered the crazed goddess. "How would Ginny react to revisiting the chamber? But this time… it's you… on the ground, cold and near death? With me standing over you, taunting her."
Hearing this about the Chamber of Secrets which took away Ginny's only chance of a happy childhood at Hogwarts sent Femi over the edge. Ignoring how her leg was in pain, Femi rolled over and cut through the air with the dagger, slicing right across Alala's left eye.
"AHHHHH YOU…" She screamed, falling backward, cradling her eye with both her hands.
"NEVER TRY TO MAKE ME SEE THAT AGAIN, YOU PSYCHO." She screamed as she stood up, pointing the dagger at her old enemy's throat. "My sweet Ginny is so very close to forgetting about that traumatizing past and being my sweet, joyful, passionately happy servant, who belongs to me in heart and mind; I would never even dream of subjecting her to seeing me on that dark floor, nor would I force her to live in the mindless obedience of a slave. She is too perfect to be a mindless drone willing to obey my every order."
"You sound like you are in love with this girl, Femi." Alala groaned, wincing at the pain in her head where her eye had been, making it suddenly harder to focus.
"Maybe I am." Femi bit back. "The point is Ginny will remain a servant with the right to choose, not a mindless plaything like you think she should be." A small smile played on Femi's lips as she thought of the growing joy she had felt over the last few days, seeing Ginny so happy in their new life together...
"Your point is Ginny chose a life with the most annoying woman I have ever met. How can she stand living with you, hm?" Alala yelled, rolling her only eye in irritation.
Suddenly, with a snap of her finger, a version of Ginny appeared. Just a fake mirage of her, but Femi was unsettled seeing her in only her bra and underwear with a strange, submissive smile on her face reminiscent of the one she had when she had been luring her to the chamber in the first place.
"Despite this being a mirage, this is how I would use her as my slave…" Alala grinned as she stood up, rather shakily though, and walked over to the mirage. "Slave, who do you serve?"
"Mistress… Ala…" before the mirage could finish its sentence, it vanished as Femi kicked some water at it.
"ENOUGH," she glared at her opponent, refusing to admit to the strong sense of jealousy she had felt at seeing Ginny in that state; if she was going to admit how she felt about Ginny to anyone, it would be Ginny herself, not this woman who could never understand the depths of her feelings.
She knew that any kind of relationship beyond servant and mistress relationship would have to wait for now until Ginny was old enough to be sure that was what she wanted, but just the possibility of being so much closer to that beautiful redhead...
"Enough talking about her." Alala snapped out of the blue. "I think it's time we just about kill each other." Before Femi could register what she was saying, Alala threw the spear through the air in line with Femi's heart. Before Femi could do more than take the weapon in, the spear was suddenly batted away, leaving both women to gasp in shock as they saw a golden sword with red rubies within it clang to the ground nearby the spear.
"That's enough Alala…" shouted a male voice from the portal that the Greek Goddess had ventured through.
In a snap, Alala spun around, looking shocked beyond anything she has ever been shocked about before.
Standing up on the top of the stairs with a long blond haired man, shirtless, with muscles making him literally look like a god among men.
Femi had to admit, if she were into men, then he would be what she wanted tenfold. "Wha?" Femi was stunned into silence as she couldn't understand who this man was.
Ignoring her, the man looked down upon Alala with envy and disappointment. "You are lucky you got me who came in here. Zeus was going mad and was about to charge in." At the mention of his name, Alala screamed like a little girl, while Femi looked excited about the opportunity to meet the most powerful god of their kind.
That scream caused the male to laugh. "You were always easy to scare." he told Alala as he appeared in front of her, placed his hand on her head, pushing her to her knees with little effort. "Anything that was better than you seemed to scare you. Remember that bear that killed grandma when we were kids?"
"Excuse me?" Femi asked out of curiosity. "But who are you?"
Remembering they weren't alone, the blond turned to the dark-skinned female, smiled warmly and gave a small bow. "Where are my manners. Allow me to introduce myself, Femi of Egypt. I am of Dyson of Greece." Dyson stood back up and gestured to the portal. "There is a war going on in Alala's… my sister's… realm."
"Brother… wha-what are you doing… alive?" her voice shaky as she reached out a jewelled hand just to feel if her brother was actually there. "I saw you fall from that… that cliff when we were 10…" tears formed in her one good eye as she watched the brother she had believed dead standing before her with a smirk.
"Why, Zeus saved me, my dear sister. Before I hit the jagged rocks, that is." He laughed at her expression. Dyson placed his hand on his chest. "I am one of his most loyal warriors and spies because of that reason… which is why he is there attacking your realm in the first place." watching her expression turn from sad, fearful, and then to anger, he decided to egg her on even more. "I alerted the big man."
"Yeah… you shouldn't have said that." Alala sneered as her fist connected with the side of his head sending him tumbling through the air, slamming into the ground behind Femi unconscious.
"So much for my reinforcements." Femi rolled her eyes, turned towards Alala only to see her father's spear cutting through the air; she didn't have enough time to react before a sharp pain erupted from her left shoulder.
"AHHHHHH…" Femi screamed, noticing the weapon sticking through her left shoulder, blood oozing out from both sides. Since she was a goddess, blood loss wasn't really an issue, but that wouldn't stop it hurting right now.
"That's for my eye, you little bitch." Alala mocked in spite of her enemy. Femi, though in serious pain, managed to remove the spear from her shoulder. Blood was all over the pointed tip, and it grossed her out, and she couldn't even look at the gaping wound in her shoulder, it was hard to even move her arm.
A light wind from out of nowhere kicked up from out of nowhere, and from her squinted eyes, Femi could make out a light dust flying through the air with a voice accompanying it. "Now… let's see how well your mental barriers hold up against me…"
Her voice came in a whisper with a hiss added on as she cut through the air and caught her enemy off guard by going up Femi's nose and through her ears.
"Gah…" Femi's body froze in place, her body twitching, Alala's sandy form showing from behind her skin as a sickly white parasite as it climbed up her body towards her brain.
"I've trained this ability… it is no longer temporary." laughed the invasive goddess. "Just give me your body, Femi. It won't hurt. It will only kill your soul, allowing me to take control. Haha haha..."
Despite her soul still remaining in her body, Femi's eyes glassed over as if she were about to cry, red veins appeared within them as she tried to fight off the invasive force with an impressive amount of mental fortitude.
"Get. Out. Of. My. Head." the Egyptian growled through gritted teeth as she pushed against the power of her enemy.
"Such a beautiful body you have. Much better than mine." Suddenly, Femi's good arm began to twitch and move towards her breasts. "Let's see how these feel… you must want this since you aren't stopping my advances." the warrior goddess laughed her heart out, knowing full well that nothing could stop her right now.
"S-stop. Get out of my body…" she was beginning to sweat profusely at the attempt of trying to not let her hand reach her large, round and squishy breast, refusing to let this murderer have the satisfaction. The wind kicked up around the area as her aura burst forth, affecting every corner of this library in an attempt to stop Alala.
Glass shattered, lanterns flickered, torches back in Femi's very own temple turned to ice in mere milliseconds, only in the portal room thankfully, as the door was shut.
All along Femi's stiff body, veins appeared as Femi tensed her whole body to not let Alala have this satisfaction.
But then her arm dropped, and a pouty voice entered her mind. "You're no fun."
"Thanks." she replied dryly to that comment. But then her vision went dark as if like a fast moving slideshow, her memories played out before her, even the ones most recent.
"What's this?" Alala asked, stopping on a memory of Ginny and Femi braiding each other's hair two days after they had met on their bed. Ginny was smiling and laughing at something Gregga the elf had just said.
"Such a beautiful memory… It's such a shame Ginny won't get any more of these happy moments once I rip your soul from your very being." The threat was so nonchalant that anyone would think of it as a silly joke and laugh about it.
"Yes…. she… will…" grunted the dark haired female pushing with all of her strength to push Alala out. "Leave. My. Body."
"Oh…" Alala chirped as she found another, rather embarrassing memory. "You watch Ginny sleep? How adorable." she cooed to the annoyance of the body's owner. "Just look at that smile on her face, I could just kiss her." The tone of those words reinforced the speaker's sense of smug self-satisfaction...
For a moment, everything around Femi went black, only to come back to her to reveal that she was now standing in the middle of the desert during a sandstorm.
"The Sahara? What?" Femi barely had any time to register what was happening before she was pushed to the ground and then thrown fifteen meters forwards.
When she turned around to fight whoever this thing was, her surroundings were now dark, lit by lantern light on a small fishermen boat in a huge cavern with many destroyed ancient buildings.
"What the?"
"You need to return to me…" a ghostly moan reached her ears causing her to turn towards a set of stairs that led to an ancient place of prayer.
"Ginny?" Femi asked in shock and confusion seeing her here. "What are yo-you… doing here?"
Her eyes were glowing with spirals and beckoning her forward. As if the boat was listening, it turned toward the illusion of Ginny. "Come to me Femi… venture with me into the unknown…"
"Yes…" Femi's frown turned into a dumb smile as she stepped off the boat and couldn't take her eyes off of her, her mind turning to mush as she stared at the hypnotic eyes of this illusion. "I shall follow you, and only you, into the unknown. I obey you…"
"Yes… you do Femi." she extended her hand to her. "Take my hand into paradise where we… will be… together forever…" smiling widely, Femi took her offered hand and suddenly, the once 12-year-old girl changed into a young adult with pigtails and a ponytail, a loving smile on her face as the freckles on her face fit her well and made Femi's heart flutter.
She was very lean and athletic to her eyes, but what enticed the goddess more was how Ginny wasn't wearing clothes anymore, unveiling her attractive body to her.
"Come with me…" the illusion of Ginny said again, placing a hand over Femi's heart as she attempted to finish her hypnosis. "Venture into peace everlasting."
Femi couldn't help but think of what a life with Ginny could be like now as her hands were brought up to feel the soft, warm breasts of the illusion and Femi couldn't help but awe over them in her state of mind.
"Do you wish to give your soul over to the almighty Alala and live together forever with me?" asked the illusion, giving her a kiss on the cheek as though trying to seal the hypnosis.
The illusion was slipping off Femi's bra as the goddess nodded rapidly. "Oh y… WAIT. NO." Femi screamed having finally fought back against the mind-numbing temptation. In a snap her surroundings returned to the stormy Sahara. "This isn't real." grabbing her head with both hands, Femi screamed into the storm while kicking the sand with her bare foot.
"It's real Femi… just give in…" Again, Femi fell for it, turned and witnessed this form of Ginny's hypnotic eyes again. "Don't be afraid. Just submit and give your soul to me…"
Femi had to admit, giving her soul to this wondrous hypnotic Ginny did sound like a pleasure... maybe she should just accept this new way for them to be together forever...
"Please, Femi of Egypt, give me your hand…" smiled Ginny, reaching out her hand and taking hers. "Let Empress Alala grant you freedom…"
Femi blushed as Ginny kissed her cheek softly. She giggled. "That sounds ni…"
"DON'T LISTEN TO HER FEMI." a thunderous, yet somewhat familiar, voice rippled through the storm causing a lightning strike to cut across the sky and break the concentration Femi had on whatever this form of temptress Ginny was.
"You're not my Ginny…" Femi said, finally realizing what was happening. The form that looked like Ginny sneered.
"Clever girl," the illusionary Ginny muttered, before she turned into a ball of sand, out of which burst a twenty-legged creature with sharp claws and fangs and over a hundred eyes.
"Hello Femi… time for munching." it spoke deeply causing its prey to nearly throw up at seeing its ugly features.
Her eyes widened as she began to back up before turning around to run aimlessly through the storm, feeling the small quakes of the monster following her closely.
"Where are you going, Femi? Don't you want to be food?" it cried desperately.
As she continued to run at a fast pace, that familiar voice cried out to her again, this time confirming to her who it was. "SNAP OUT OF IT, FEMI. IT'S ME, DYSON. COME BACK TO REALITY; ALALA IS JUST TRYING TO TRICK YOU INTO ACCEPTING AN ILLUSION."
"Lies." the monster behind her called out. "That man is the illusion; reality is here with us…" Femi raised an eyebrow at what it was saying until she turned to see another two versions of that monster behind her.
"What kind of fucked up world am I in?" she cried, picking up her pace as she could see a small hut through the low visibility, standing out like a sore thumb and Femi grinned out of desperation as she ran to it, opened the door and slammed it shut.
She leaned on it breathing heavily as the monster bashed on the door a couple of times before stopping and Femi let out a big sigh of relief as she slid down the door frame.
She heard footsteps and then an excited greeting. "Welcome home darling. You're just in time for lunch." said a feminine voice a few feet away.
With a sharp intake of breath, Femi's head shot up to see that she wasn't just in any house, no, this house was her childhood home and her family was here smiling at her.
"Hello dear." her father spoke after her mother. "Did you have fun with Abasi and his brother?"
Femi wasn't sure on what to make of this situation as she stared at her supposed mirage of a family, but her brother caught her eye smiling at her and waving her over.
"We've saved you a seat." said her mother, moving aside to show a vacant seat beside herself and Femi's siblings.
A small smile appeared on her face before it disappeared and shook her head. "No… no. This isn't real…"
"Of course it's real." her parents said at the same time.
With a quizzical look, Femi looked down at her much smaller siblings, who couldn't be more than 2 and 4 respectively, and the anger grew within her that she knew that this place wasn't real at all.
Seeing her anger, suddenly the illusion of her mother turned into a woman in armor that resembled that of a Spartan warrior from Sparta, as did her father, her siblings having vanished off the face of the world… or should she say off the face of this illusion?
"Join us Femi… Alala wants what is best for you… not death." said her mother in such a soft voice that Femi could barely hear her.
Suddenly, she felt a tug on her arm, and looking at it there was nothing there but a feeling of someone pulling on it, and she started to feel a sense of her feet being dragged out from underneath her as she neared the door.
She was dragged out the door and into the storm filled sky where she passed by illusions of Ettore, her old lover back from the age of the Romans, who looked longingly at her as she went past.
Then came those teens that she had briefly hypnotized for a time all in front of her smiling obediently at her until they all suddenly scowled at her, and she was pushed further upward.
"What is happening?" a disembodied voice filled her head. "NO NO NO NO she is fighting back. NOOOOO…"
Just as she reached the clouds, everything went black, and then her eyes re-opened, and she was back in the library with Dyson pulling on her arm as if he was trying to tug her back to reality.
It didn't take her long enough to realize, as her eyes widened in understanding, that the tug that she had felt was from him pulling her out of that illusion.
"D-Dyson… help me." Femi spoke through gritted teeth while attempting to move her arm, but she suddenly was dropped to the floor with all of her strength and control of her own body back as a sandy colored mist exited her nose and ears and reformed into an exhausted and irritated Alala.
Sweating from the exhaustion of trying to free Femi, Dyson turned to his sister and frowned at her. "I will not allow you to kill and possess someone in this manner."
"W-when... wa-was... i-it... ev-ever… you-your... decision... b-brother...?" scowled the criminal murderous goddess at her brother for trying to control her actions like he had done for a year in their youth.
"You are sick in the head Alala. Mother and father knew it, and mostly your friends knew it too, heck even your tutor could see how much of a rotten child you were during your lessons," Dyson said, trying to remember what their old family and friends had said about her.
"Maybe… maybe I like being this way... EVER THINK OF THAT?" she screamed at her brother venomously.
"She's hopeless." Femi said as she stood up cradling her wounded arm, her teeth grit in anger at the woman she has despised for years.
"Give up Alala." her brother spoke casually, his guard was down Alala could see, and she smirked as she thrust her hand forward sending out an invisible energy force that froze her brother where he stood and then lifted him in the air and began to throw him around like a toy.
"ALALA…" Femi screamed running at her. Alala turned to her, and with her other hand, did the same to her that she was doing to Dyson, and she was sent back against a wall where she collapsed to the ground in pain.
Alala laughed sinisterly as she threw her heroic brother around the room, enjoying the crunch of his bones against the shelves, ground and walls and even the snap of a few bones from the repeated impact. After her brother had been thrown around for over five minutes, he passed out on the floor from the constant assault, leaving Alala to throw back her head and laugh at his failure.
"No… no…" Femi gasped seeing her ally being thrown around like a toy handled by a small child. "I can't do this anymore. I should just go back home…"
"If you do this then Alala will follow…" spoke a voice from behind her. With a gasp, Femi's eyes flew open as she spun around to see Abasi standing a few inches away from her with a smile on his face. "Hello again my friend."
Tears began to cascade down her face as all of her friends and family appeared in a ghostly form before her.
Her father stepped forward, bending down to run a hand across her face, Femi leaned into it. "You have been strong my daughter… I'm so sorry for what that woman did to our family…"
"We will help you prevail against her. If you absorb all of our ghostly forms, not only will you gain the immense power that Alala has kept from you, but your wound will also heal."
A quivering smile crossed her face as she nodded before trying her best to stand with her exhaustion nearly sending her back to the wet floor.
Abasi turned into a ghostly sphere and melted into her wound, healing it instantly, causing Femi to look at it for a moment before flexing her arm and feeling that it was back to normal and that she no longer felt exhausted.
At this exact moment Athena and a couple of her own guards, and guards of Zeus, came through the portal into the Library but stopped dead in their tracks when they saw what was going on.
All the ghosts were entering Femi's body one by one, giving her power and strength, a white aura appeared around her body and got brighter as each flew into her. The young goddess had read something about an ability gods could achieve if empowered by the souls of their worshipers; not only would their powers double, but they would reach a power known as 'Deity Rage' a power feared by many of the gods where each battle cry or weapon impact sounds like a ghost is singing a haunting tune, but that's only if one ghost attaches itself to the user. If five or more do that then they give her a power known as the 'Ancestral Rage'
And that is what happened as her siblings' ghosts were absorbed into her.
However, Femi dropped her hand as the last of the two ghosts left were of her parents staring back at her with a wistful smile. "We wish there was a chance we could have watched you grow up more my daughter… I'm so sorry." her father said sadly, not looking his centuries old daughter in the eyes, temporarily consumed by his shame at being manipulated by Alala's last victim.
Her mother placed a kiss on her eldest's cheek and placed her hand where she had with a soft smile on her lips.
"Are you ready to squash that bug sweetie?" asked the ghostly form of Femi's mom and the dark-skinned goddess nodded with tears in her eyes before her parents were absorbed into her body, allowing her aura to burst to life.
Alala stood there laughing as she curled her hand to a near fist to bring her unconscious brother towards her wearing a sinister smile on her face as she chuckled. "It's time to die for real brot…" she was cut off as a hand fell on her shoulder and squeezed rather painfully that Alala had to wince.
Turning her head slightly, Alala saw a dark-skinned hand on her shoulder that was glowing with a white and red glow that made her look up into the blue eyes of the woman she had wronged for so long, staring back at her with a terrifying rage.
"What…" Alala managed to utter before the hand on her shoulder was smashed against her face and Femi lifted her off the ground and towards her own face.
"How are you doing Alala? Nice seeing you this way." a growl accompanied her normal voice as she spoke and squeezed the other goddess's face so hard she could feel the pressure in her skull and gasped for relief.
"Please, let me go Femi…"
The look that crossed her face left even Athena and her guard with a sense of fear as Femi leaned in to whisper to her long time tormentor. "How does it feel to be on the back foot? This is how I felt for many years… you could've done so much worse… but imagine what I'll do to you now…?" Alala's eyes widened as the young woman's aura began to burn like the sun.
"MRRRRPH…" Alala screamed in her throat as Femi moved her hand over her mouth. But before Alala could even feel what was happening, Femi had vanished from view, but then it suddenly felt as if her stomach had been kicked in. Suddenly, she was sent soaring through the air so fast that she could feel her skin tingling as if it was on fire as she crashed through several pillars and podiums before she slammed into a wall, knocking the breath out of her and breaking her arm.
"Son of a bitch…" she screamed at the feeling of her broken arm, and it was bleeding badly as shards of glass and stone were sticking out of it.
"That look suits you." spoke the enraged goddess and was rearing back a fist to kill her when Athena spoke out to her. "FEMI OF EGYPT I DEMAND YOU STOP THIS AT ONCE. SHE IS TO RETURN TO HER REALM AND BE EXECUTED FOR HER CRIMES AGAINST YOU AND ALL HER PEOPLE."
The aura around Femi died as she stopped her assault and stood up straighter. Her look was hard and deadly as she stared down at her parent's murderer, giving serious thought on if she should listen to one of the higher up gods...
"Please… just finish me…" Alala cried to her old enemy. "Don't walk away from me Femi." she cried out in desperation. "YOU'VE SOUGHT VENGEANCE YOUR WHOLE LIFE; JUST KILL ME…!"
In that moment, Femi knew what she was going to do; aside from the obvious risk of getting in trouble with the other gods, she wouldn't give Alala the satisfaction.
"That's where you and I differ…" she said, leaning over her old tormentor. "I know when to show mercy, even if Zeus won't show you such a kindness."
"NO NO NO NO NO…" Alala screamed at the dark-skinned woman as guards chained her up and began to haul her towards the portal.
"Femi…" Athena called to her. Femi turned towards her and gasped in delight seeing her carrying the scroll that she had needed with a smile on her face. "You redeemed yourself. You may use this curse breaker ritual whenever you wish."
"Thank you…" Femi was cut off as Athena leaned in and locked lips with her for a few seconds before pulling back. "Sorry… I just wanted to know what it felt like to kiss someone such as yourself. Your strength back there… well, it made me think of you in a different light haha." Her smile was soft as she stared at the Egyptian. "Though I know you have a chosen one so nothing more than that kiss should happen between us."
"Yeah, thanks Athena haha." Femi laughed as she leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "I'm not upset… thank you for the permission to break my curse…"
Athena laid a hand on her shoulder with a smile. "Don't mention it. You deserve it after the hell Alala put you through… she manipulated us all…"
Femi nodded her head as she watched the goddess and her guards step back through the portal…
"You know when I saved Ginny from that snake in her youth, I never saw past that day other than seeing you two together…"
Femi spun around to seeing Dyson being supported by one of the guards. He smiled at her as Femi's eyes shined with tears remembering that happening to Ginny.
"You saved my Ginny all those years ago Dyson?" Tears were now running down her cheeks as the feeling of relief washed over her. He smiled and nodded and let himself be embraced by the goddess, clinging to him like he was her lifeline.
"I can't thank you enough. Without you… I wouldn't have Ginny in my life…" she cried harder, but with a joyful smile on her face, hardly believing he was the one who had saved the girl she… loved? Yeah, Alala was right. She does love Ginny…
Seeing her look, Dyson chuckled. "Go. She needs you now more than ever and since Alala is to be executed, you should enjoy your life with her…"
"I'm going to make her a goddess on her 16th birthday. I'm not letting her die of old age many years from now." Femi declared with a tearful smile. "I know she'll feel the same."
"Good luck. Just know if you need anything then you can call upon me…" he declared confidently as he and the guard supporting him stepped through the portal.
"Alala will no longer haunt my dreams… I am free…" she cried in jubilation as she began running back towards her home, the scroll to break her imprisonment in hand, ready to confess her love to Ginny.
As for the ghosts of her family and friends, as they were only a temporary power boost to at least stop the evil goddess, and with the said evil woman now set for execution, they could now go on to the afterlife and rest in peace knowing they had helped a great cause...
Thursday, September 2nd, 1993
Upon returning to the bedroom, Femi set both scrolls up on a shelf and quickly walked over to the bed to stare at Ginny with a loving and tearful smile as thoughts of the future played on her beautiful face. Without Alala in her path then Ginny would now be her top priority…
That was when she felt it, the memories of the Chamber of Secrets that had traumatized Ginny for so long vanished from her mind at that moment, leaving her free of those burdens. The smile that rested on Ginny's face widened at the feeling of those memories vanishing from her entranced mind.
Femi shifted her on the bed and laid down, setting Ginny down on top of her, their stomachs pressing against the other, Ginny instantly snuggled closer to the goddess once she felt the warmth of the older woman's body.
Running a hand through her red hair, Femi wondered what Ginny must be thinking about in that burden free head of hers, hoping to feel happiness galore in her head when checking her thoughts. When a brief 'scan' of her thoughts confirmed that hope, the black-haired woman couldn't stop a happy sob escaping her throat as she hugged Ginny tighter to her, placing a kiss on the top of her head to show how proud she was of her Ginny.
With a nervous sigh, Femi exhaled and looked directly at the girl. "Ginny, honey, can you wake up?"
With several tired blinks, Ginny opened her eyes fully, still with that smile on her face having forgotten the Chamber of Secrets, and she stared at the woman who changed her life for the better.
"Hello, Mistress. Is it morning?" she asked curiously, staring at the clock that the elves had also stolen from a local store, and it wasn't even 3:00 in the morning yet.
"I have…" Femi trailed off, her nerves getting the better of her as Ginny sat up and positioned herself on top of Femi's stomach. It didn't bother her at all due to her strength and knowing it wouldn't cause her trouble with breathing.
Ginny ran a hand along the dark-skinned beauty's smooth stomach with a loving smile stopping more words from coming out of the older woman's mouth.
She did put on a look of concern when noticing the woman stopped speaking. "What is it Mistress? What do you have?"
Femi looked up into the warm brown eyes of the girl who loved being her servant and smiled lovingly at her as she placed a hand over her stomach and rubbed it in soothing circles.
"Ginny… you mean so much to me… nothing in my life compares to what my life has been these last few weeks since you entered it…"
Ginny blushed but prompted her mistress to continue. "The moment I first met you, I knew there was something special about you, whether it be your personality, strength or courage. I knew there would be no one else on this planet for me…" she was blushing madly, but held eye contact with Ginny.
"Your fiery attitude makes my legs want to fall out from underneath me, your looks you give me sends my heart fluttering to my throat and your laughter sets it on fire. I can't imagine a life without you in it Ginny…"
"I feel the same, Mistress. You are so beautiful, kind and loving." It amazed Ginny how shiny and smooth Femi's body was. What she didn't realize is that is what happens when you're a goddess.
"What's this about anyway?" Ginny asked curiously as she laid back down so she and her mistress could be face to face.
Femi bit her lip, the same way Ginny has been doing ever since the day she woke up as Femi's servant, and blew out a breath as she hugged Ginny to her. She knew this wouldn't scare her away due to her devotion to her, and she would let Ginny set the pace for whatever she wanted to happen between them physically, but she didn't want to take any chances.
"Ginny… I realized tonight… or maybe it has just been developing over the last few days but…" she stopped to gather her thoughts and reign in her emotions. "I can't ignore this feeling any more sweetie… I love you… I love you with every bone in my body, and it just hurts to not say it…"
Her head fell back on the pillows, her dark hair covering her eyes from seeing Ginny's reaction to her confession, but it didn't take long for it to come out in more of a shocked gasp.
"Y-you love me Mistress? D-do you mean it?" a sob sounding like it was ready to break free from what it sounded like with her tone.
Femi instantly sat up to see Ginny looking at her with a tear filled smile. "P-please tell me yo-you aren't having me on… is it the truth Mistress?" Ginny pleaded, taking both of the woman's hands in hers and squeezing them tight.
Looking into the eyes of the redhead, Femi realized that she couldn't lie to her; Ginny was such an innocent soul who had already (if now unknowingly) overcome such deep trauma, and with her new devotion to Femi, lying and claiming that her last words were just a joke would be too cruel. Femi wasn't that kind of person.
