A/N I rested my pen for more than a decade and now finding my way back to writing. Mondler inspired me enough to make me want to write again and now I can't stop..Anyway, this is inspired by the two occasions where Chandler was trying to convince Monica to be her boyfriend. What if in both those times, Monica agreed.

We'll start with S3 E25 The One at The Beach and S4E1 The One with the Jellyfish when Chandler was talking about being boyfriend material.

Gin.

We were playing gin?

lf we were a couple, we could play naked.

Would you stop?

All right. Why don't we make this exciting?

Okay, I bet 20 bucks.

Oh, that's not exciting enough.

What are you thinking?

The stakes have to be high.

Like, maybe you'll be my slave for a week?

A week? It has to be longer.

Okay, this is fun!

So what will be the odds?

You first.

Hmmm okay. If I win, you'll do whatever I ask you to do for a month!…Your turn.

Okay, If I win, you'll be my girlfriend for a month!

What? Are you serious?

You afraid you're gonna lose?

Of course not!…So best of how many games?

Sudden death. Just one game!

Deal!

Deal. And they shook on it.

Gin! Yooohoohooo Chandler exclaimed! Yeessss!

Noooooo! Okay, one more game.

No. We said, sudden death. You're my girlfriend now. Yipee! Chandler doing his happy dance.

Okay. Okay. But let me clear that first.

All right.

There should be no sex. No kisses and no groping...

Chandler cut her off saying -I agree with the no sex and no groping but you gotta give me at least the kisses!

Okay, but no tongue and it shouldn't be longer than a second.

Can we make it two seconds? Please? Pretty please?

No.

Okay. But I get to introduce you as my girlfriend and you have to introduce me as your boyfriend if someone asks.

You mean pretend girlfriend?

No! Real girlfriend for a month with no sex.

Even to our friends?

Yes!

But it is only for a month, okay?

Yes! But it starts now….

Okay.

So can I kiss my girlfriend now? Monica hesitated for a while but agreed just the same.

Oh, alright.

Chandler stood up from his seat and walked towards Monica. Chandler leaned in for a kiss and Monica tilted her head to receive his lips expecting to feel awkward but feeling exactly the opposite.

So, ahmm, I better go now. Good night. See you tomorrow, Monica! … My girlfriend!

Okay, good night, Chandler!

Your what?

My boyfriend.

Chandler gives Monica his cutest smile before turning his back to leave and it made Monica smile, too.

Day 1:

Chandler excitedly went to a full Apartment 20 the following morning where he spotted Monica looking for something in her fridge. He went straight to her, holding her by the waist, giving her a kiss on her head saying - Good morning!

Monica turned with a bottle of mayonnaise in one hand and cheese in another. But before she can place them on the table, she noticed the prying eyes of her friends on her. What?! she asked.

Oh, nothing. Everyone replied looking at one another.

One by one their friends left, until it was just the two of them there.

Chandler was watching Monica with amazement. He never noticed that before. He just knew that Monica would always cook for all of them but only now did he realize that after all of them has left for work, Monica stays behind and fixes after them.

Monica placed the dishes in the sink reminding herself to wash them when she arrives from a client meeting later that day. Monica went to her bedroom and was all dressed when she came out. She was putting on her jacket when she noticed that Chandler was still there.

Oh, I thought you already left. You don't have to wait for me, you know.

Oh, I just want to ask if you would like to have lunch with me later?

Hmmm.. Lunch? That sounds good! Okay, I'll meet you at your office. Is 1:00 pm good?

That's a little late but okay, I'll wait for you.

Okay, see you then.

They parted at the lobby going on opposite directions but looking back at each other as they took separate cabs.

Chandler was taking his coffee break at the pantry when an officemate joined him.

Hey Chandler, want me to set you up with a date?

Oh, thanks! But no.

Why not?

Oh, I have a girlfriend. Answering confidently while pretending to be focused on the magazine he is reading.

I don't believe you.

Oh, believe it. … I'll tell you what. We're having lunch together today. Why don't I introduce her to you.

Oh, I'll believe it when I see it!

The phone at the pantry rings.

Hello! May I help you?… Oh, may I know who's on the line?… Hold on, please.

Chandler, the call is for you.

Who is it?

Monica Geller?

Oh, let me take that.

Hi, Mon! What's up?… I see. Oh, it's okay… So I'll meet you up later tonight.

Chandler hangs up the phone.

Well?

That's my girlfriend. She has to work. Maybe I'll introduce her to you some other time.

Whatever you say, Chandler.

Chandler arrived at Apartment 20 with a box of pizza. Rachel was there watching tv.

Good, you brought pizza!

You can't eat this! This is Monica's.

But she's not here yet.

I know. But she'll be all hungry when she comes back from the catering thing.

No, she's not. I'm sure she and Phoebe will sneak in a bite or two. And what is going on between you two? Rachel pried.

Nothing.

Oh, come on, Chandler. You've been acting weird since Montauk. What's going on. Tell me.

Nothing, okay? I just wanna do something nice for her.

Ahhh, something nice? Why?

Before Chandler can reply, Joey arrives.

Hey, pizza! And Chandler could not do anything to stop him from getting a slice.

Chandler took that cue and leaves Rachel and Joey. He remembered that Monica and Phoebe are doing a rush catering downtown. He recalled the name of the building that Monica said in her phonecall. It was only 6:30. If he moves fast he can still catch them there.

Chandler found the building. As he was walking towards it, he can see Monica at the foyer handing out calling cards with a bunch of boxes beside her. He can hear some people complimenting her for the food that she prepared in such short notice.

Oh, Monica, I think that man is waiting for you. A woman said pointing to Chandler who was standing not far behind.

Monica turned to look and signaled for him to join them.

Chandler, these are Mr. and Mrs. Harris, they're the ones who hired us.

This is Chandler… he bumps her a little prodding her to say -my boyfriend.

After the introductions, Mr. And Mrs. Harris left.

Where's Phoebe?

Oh, she had to leave early, she has massage clients waiting for her.

So, you did this thing almost by yourself?

Not really. Phoebe left when everything's finished and Mrs. Harris hired two people to help us.

You look so tired and hungry.

Oh, I am.

Wanna grab a bite?

Oh, but we can't leave these boxes here. They're too fragile. I just have to get them home.

Tell you what, there's a convenience store over there. I say we go there and leave the boxes here with the kind doorman.

Oh, I don't think I can walk any further.

Okay, you just go sit over here and I'll go get you some food… Be right back, honey.

Monica rested her head at the back of the chair as she watches Chandler leave. So this is how he is as a boyfriend. Nodding her head, closing her eyes and smiling.
