Greetings. I’m an adult artist/writer. I decided to get back into fanfic writing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic as a means of creative self-care.

Like many a young person I was raised to think of fanfic as cringe and “not real writing”, however I make it a point to reject that literary snootiness and embrace the positives of fandom culture. If generations of writers could shape and reshape the mythos of King Arthur or Robin Hood, or if Dante could write a whole tome that was just a self-insert revenge fic, or even Square Enix creating the Kingdom Hearts games with a multitude of Disney characters, then there’s a place for something as fun and silly as, say, a Cowboy Bebop/Daria crossover fic.
